We had the BEST vacation!! This was our first time in Destin and we enjoyed it so much! The room was adorable and super cozy for my family of 5 to sleep comfortable! The views from the balcony are amazing! Def recommend!

Regret! . I was thoroughly disappointed at the first sight of our room. Obviously the photos online didn’t depict the room accurately. It was evident the owner invested the bare minimum in upkeep. It was so outdated! The room felt dirty. The walls were stained with visible dripping of some type of substance. The furniture had many dirty spots- from crusty white stains to black stains. I did not sit on the furniture. The pillows had to be 10 years old, they were flat as a pancake. From stained curtains to mildew on the shower curtain, I truly felt bad that I had brought my kids there for a week’s stay. I could tell by the looks on their faces that they were disappointed as well. I just think that there should be a standard of quality across the board at SunDestin. Overall the condition of the room was maybe a -1. Another issue was that the tiki bar and restaurant were non-existent. No source of food other than the gift shop which offered snacks which wasn’t very convenient. If you prefer clean towels and a clean room, there is a community laundry room to use, but you may want to bring some Clorox Wipes or something to clean with. Bedding is minimal, we did end up asking for a few blankets, which they were happy to deliver. I believe it is mentioned on the website, but you will pay daily for beach chairs and an umbrella- so just a heads up! I learned a lesson, pay a little more to ensure a clean and accommodating resort!

Absolutely Awesome! We had an awesome time staying in this unit. Overlooks the gulf and is perfectly located to all the activities we wanted (chartered fishing, crab island, fireworks and others). Very clean and well maintained. Pictures are exactly what you get. We will definitely stay again next year. Great value for the money.

Exactly as posted. Beautiful view from balcony which was a core reason I selected the place. Helpful to have management/front desk on the ground level.

The view was great and the condo was nice . The lady in the gift shop was always so pleasant.

The description and photos of the place are exactly as they describe it, it has a beautiful and wonderful view of the ocean.

They were under construction I understand but it was filthy

Great location right on the beach. However, the building was under extensive renovations during our stay. The entire building was being painted along with other activities, so it felt like we were at a construction site the entire time, and the smell of the paint was strong. The unit was small but had a beautiful view. If you don't like heights I would avoid this unit. The view from the patio is up high! Some of the unit could use some maintenance as several outlets in the kitchen didn't work, and paint in many spots was peeling off. Also, why provide a coffee maker and not any filters? This is a pet peeve of mine... Overall we had a good trip, but for the price I expected better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were comfortable in the condo. It was great being right on the beach. Will definitely stay again!

We loved the location and steps to the beach. There was some updating going on and some that it needed but overall pretty good. It was portrayed to have washer/dryer in the unit, but had shared laundry down the hall. Really wish you could have your own umbrellas and could sit closer to the beach. You couldn’t set up in front of the chairs/umbrellas that they offer for a fee and those fees were expensive. Overall good stay though!

Great experience

Unit is fine. This was a replacement unit for us since our previous reservation through Airbnb was canceled suddenly. We’ve stayed at Sundestin 3 times previously and it’s always been great. A few minor issues were the toilet seat having a crack on it and a small stain, the bathroom with the shower is tiny, much smaller than the bathrooms in similar units within the building. WiFi is very spotty which was only an issue at night because we were not in the unit much, same goes for the cable. The bedroom door was broken so it could not be shut all the way. Overall the unit does the trick and has an incredible view and the building itself is in a perfect location. I’ll always recommend Sundestin!

The ocean view and beach access were so amazing. You can’t beat being right on the beach! The space was clean and prepped with everything we needed. We had a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay and will make plans to return! The room was clean, the A/C blew nice and cold, the water pressure was fantastic, and the beds were comfortable. We did have an issue with one of the bathroom sink drains, but we put in a call to the front desk and maintenance came up and fixed it quickly for us. The beach was clean and the pool area was nice. I wished the splash pad was up and running but we knew when we booked our stay that it wasn’t working. The view of the beach from our room was beautiful and I can’t wait to see it again!

Five Star Condo Great Location We enjoyed the amenities and location of this condo. It was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay cost effective and enjoyable. The kitchen has all the bakeware/cookware & utensils you could need to make your meals. We enjoy staying at SunDestin and have always had a great experience with Scenic Stays.

Great Place! We had the best spot in the house! View was amazing. Guest services was on point, staff was great. Although the unit was super clean, condition needs some TLC. Exhaust fan and recessed lighting needed secured to the ceiling. Screen to the sliding glass door was not attached correctly. Lots of paint, looked like the "landlord" special in some areas but for the price, location and the view, I'd do it all over again without hesitation.

Good Hotel Wonderful resort on the beach, very clean rooms. Restaurant/Bar staff have attitudes and are a tad bit rude but other then that I love everything about the place
