Beautiful area - pool closed during our stay My sister and I enjoy taking our Mom to Destin. We stayed here two years ago and loved it. The only disappointing thing that happened this year is that the pool was closed for our entire stay. We were not notified of this ahead of time. That is why I only rated it 4 stars.

An Amazing Experience! I couldn't think of a single negative comment for this location! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and we could not have been happier. The location is perfect with an amazing view of the shore. The entire building is extremely well maintained and this unit was also very well kept. Some reviews talked about the noisy air conditioner unit when it kicks on in the bedroom, but this very brief sound did not bother us at all. We could not think of a better spot to be in Destin! The building is right in the middle of everything, all within walking distance. We put very few miles on the rental car as even when we did drive everything was just a few minutes away. And the beach and water were beautiful. We took advantage of the amazing chair and umbrella rental for several days and the staff there was very attentive too. We also stopped by the onsite restaurant/bar for drinks to go and sit poolside. The store on-site is also very well stocked with beach gear, drinks, and snacks. This will be our go-to location for any future beach vacations!

Great girls trip! The location is great! Very clean and comfy. Had a quick girls' trip and it was perfect!
The room was decently clean but the bathtub wouldn’t drain correctly while taking a shower. Other than that everything was decent
The view was amazing. Everything is close by. The bed wasn't as comfy but it was good.
Older property. did not know it was non-smoking on the entire property. Smaller than it appeared in the photos. Washer on each floor not in the room. Washer didn't work all week on my floor. Chelsea was broke on one side. Dishwasher door was broke. I thought there should be towels offered at the pool which there were none. But we made the best of it and had a good time
I gave an initial review of “good,” but the stay was great. Couple of things we saw were 1. The TV in the living room has a dark area that I’m not sure the host was aware of. That really didn’t affect our stay as we only watch the news. 2. Some non-stick cookware would have been nice, as neither of us know how to cook on stainless steel. Eggs stuck to the pan. Other than that, the condo was spot on. Fantastic views from the balcony and the beach is a short (no sand spur) walk to a cabana right on the beach. The beach has very soft white sand, and a pleasure to walk through. The water felt fantastic and even a sandbar about 60 yards off the beach. It was absolutely worth the price. Check-in was easy and staff was very accommodating. We WILL book again.
Amazing views very nice place
Great staff, easy check in as well. The room itself was very clean. The building was going through a remodel but that didn’t affect us. The restaurant was a great plus, food was great as well. Would come back and definitely recommend!

Everything was great
Parking was limited with all the construction. We had to park off site in an overflow parking lot across the street.

Decent place! For the price, this place is great! We are average size humans and the tight spaces in this condo were annoying, but manageable; main bathroom door can't be open all of th way bc of the large towel bar behind it, space between the corner of one side of the bed and a built in cabinet is about 8", the dinning room table is crammed against the kitchen bar and the loveseat. Not deal breakers, but annoying. Smaller furniture would make this space more comfortable.

Very Disappointed Let me start with the people who work at this location are amazing! Very helpful, knowledgeable and great customer service. However, the room we stayed in was outdated and not even decorated to suite the beach, had mold and the bathroom cabinet was falling apart. I came home from what I thought was going to be an amazing trip to being sick as a dog from the mold around the air conditioner inside the master room and the gross carpet that should have been replaced years ago inside the master room. Very disappointed. I looked past the remodeling happening that closed the pools DURING SPRING BREAK. I was very disappointed also by the fact anyone who had towels or their own chairs to enjoy the beach had a view of the rental chairs and umbrellas instead of the beautiful ocean. I rented chairs and umbrellas just so I could enjoy the view, however I prefer to enjoy the comfort of my own chair. There should be availability for others to enjoy the views without renting the chairs. I will not stay here again.

Great stay in Destin Would come back any time
Beach stay Room was clean and view was great! Only issue was main tv in living room had internet issues. Only 2G so you couldn’t watch anything on tv because every 6 seconds it would freeze and just spin. We rebooted several times but did not help. I would recommend getting this checked it was a problem as my mother has terminal cancer so she stayed in the room the whole time otherwise we wouldn’t have had tv on.
the air conditioning unit is in the Master bedroom , so when it turned on it was very loud when tryi besides the air unit , everything else was great

Needs help Floors have not been cleaned well in a long time (tile and carpet). We didn’t want to walk on them barefoot. Knobs on cabinets were gross. Air conditioning unit in master bedroom sounded like a gun shot and Diesel engine every time it kicked on, preventing us from getting any sleep. Location and view were great.
Needs help We stayed at Sundestin condo 1104. It was as advertised, great location and beautiful view. However, the floors(tile and carpet) looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The knobs on the kitchen cabinets were so sticky and gross we didn’t want to touch them. The biggest problem for us was the air conditioning unit was located in the master bedroom. Every time it kicked on it sounded like a gun shot and a diesel engine running. We didn’t get much rest.

Best view!! We were on the 11th floor and the room and view was absolutely beautiful. Nice restaurant downstairs and the beach was beautiful! Didn’t want to leave!

Great vacay at destin Overall, itwas a great vacation at Sandestin, management were very nice.. I told the reservation personnel about how much we paid with vrbo vs the actual per night charges.. They were nice enough to give us great discount for additional 1 day. The concern is the charging of vrbo on us. There are too much charges,factor in taxes and cleaning, and other redundant charges like service fee, then administrative fee cost us too much more per night. Please do better, Not good VRBO.
