We had a wonderful stay! Large family booked three rooms and all three were great. They were stocked with everything we needed for a great trip. Checked in and out was quick and easy. We will return.

Not perfect This is our second time staying at scenic stays, the first time was great, we booked the same exact room again. This time the hotel and room went down hill pretty bad. Our room smelled moldy, there were 2 large mirrors (roughly 5x7) that had been what looked like ripped off of the wall and not repaired at all, still dry wall tape hanging off of the wall and holes in the wall when we got to the room. We told the hotel front desk and they said they knew about it and sent maintenance to spray freshener in the room. There was also only 1 towel for showers for our family of 5 for 1 week, i asked the front desk about getting more and had to rent a set for 12 dollars. The view from the room was nice but we will be staying elsewhere in the future.
Most definitely returning This was me and my family first visit to Destin. This was by far a perfect choice. We almost didn't have to leave...pool, gym, omg The Beach!!! Our first time but most definitely not the last
Unable to get response from owner while there No towels or rags, washing machine and dryer outside in the hall and had to pay for use, both pools were never open at the same time so it was always crowded, no tiki bar as listed, air conditioner was on balcony, would not be safe for anyone with small children
Perfect getaway We were all very impressed with scenic stays. Between the absolute unbeatable view from the hotel room, to the location of the hotel itself, I couldnt recommend this place enough. Our condo was bigger than i thought it was going to be, with 2 bathrooms, plenty of room for our family of 5. The beach and ocean only require walking out of the back door of the hotel, the beach itself was never packed like the public beaches are. We went April 4th-8th, the water was perfectly clear, the sand was white, soft, cool. We had zero issues checking in or out, the staff was friendly, the overall trip was amazing. We will be booking Sun Destin with Scenic Stays over and over, it doesnt get any better.

Nice The condo appearance was as expected from the listing. The space suited our family. However, there is no washer and dryer in the unit which could have just been an oversight on my part when booking. There is a washer/dryer available on each floor operated by quarters. The elevators were very busy and some were out of service on a few different occasions. The on site convenience store was nice. Employees each time we went in were teenagers and they were all VERY friendly and polite. Same can be said about the staff in the restaurant. Overall great experience on this property. For us personally, having a washer and dryer is a preferred amenity when we travel with or kids.

Excellent location for families My wife and I stayed for a couple nights. The check in was super easy, room was well cleaned, and the view was amazing. Nicely set up for a family of 5 with the bunk beds, one king, and a pull out couch. Well stocked to make food and even had a few cleaning supplies(dish soap, scrubber). Only issue was locating the trash drop off. Great beach spot and less crowded than other parts.
Great little condo Location was fantastic, front desk was friendly and quick to get us checked-in and out. Nice gift shop on property. Loved the ocean view and access to the beautiful beach. Condo is definitely showing wear/age. That being said we felt it was clean and comfortable for our stay with three kids and wouldn't hesitate to stay again!
Great stay Went for our honeymoon and it was beautiful. Great stay: very clean in all areas. Someone was always cleaning the lobby etc. A few nights in we had some very loud neighbors and I spoke to the front desk about it and the lady handled it and was very peaceful stay. Highly recommend.
We love the condo. The pictures are just like it is. The beds were so comfortable. The bedding was nice. The condo is right in the middle of several restaurants. You wouldn't have to have a car you could walk to some but the traffic is bad so you'd have to be very mobile. The view is amazing. The water is great. The only downfall was when you were on the balcony. There is a new air conditioning unit and it is very loud when it's on. Another thing you cannot check in early so don't even try. We waited about 45 minutes and they said we might get in early but that never happened. We got our code exactly at 4:00. I had some questions before we got there and I messaged with the owner and he was very quick to get back with me. I would definitely stay in this unit again
I have really enjoyed staying at SunDestin I will be back in April in a two bedroom condo and I really like those. And t Positive: I love the location of the property it is close to the best restaurant and shopping. Plus just a short walk to the beach 🏖️ Negative: Unit 1011 needs a new shower head and the toilets need to be taller they are too short for older people with bad knees but other than that is was good 😊
First of all, the view was amazing. Perfect location. We also had enough necessities in the condo for my husband and me. The condo is under construction so don't expect it to be perfect. The unit was dirty and dated. Sand everywhere. The shower head was broken. The ice maker did not work. The check in instructions were confusing. Was told to use the app but the code never appeared in the app and I was directed to the front desk for any help. The front desk staff was rude. There was a fire evacuation while we were there and we had no idea because it didn't alarm in our unit. 10th floor. Door dasher informed us that they couldn't get in because the hotel was evacuated. No response from the host when I told them about the issue. Front desk never answered the phone. This is more like booking a low end hotel than an Airbnb. I think it's set up so you have to buy a lot from the store in the condo. For $1700 for 4 nights, I expected a better stay.
Great facility, but condo had towel hangers and such off of the wall Positive: The property was great. Once I got in the room, a towel holder were hanging off the wall, and one of them was sitting on top of the counter. I know this may seem minor, but in the one side of the bathroom, I could not put a towel up. Negative: Again, the property was great. The condo was the one that needed some work.

Clean, friendly and laid back environment,loved the stay! Positive: On the beach Negative: Bed a little hard. Didn’t know what to do with used towels and bedding. Didn’t know we could have rented a tent in advance.
Positive: Location was great. Just far enough away from the too busy areas but you can get there quickly. Negative: Construction going on to kid area splash pad not listed before booking. There is no indoor pool anymore and the drop off pick up area was closed due to construction. Would have been nice to know before booking.

Location location location I would like to start by saying the view from the balcony is unbelievable, like something out of a movie. The condo is larger than the photos make it out to be, and the beach is literally right out the back door of the building. I would recommend staying here to anyone I know or anyone that reads this review. It is worth it, we will definitely be back.

Destin vacation The stay was nice. The lock on the patio door is broken. Everything else was good!!
Ok Dirty, lights flickered the whole time we were there. In living room and bathroom. Sounded like water running all the time behind the sink in main bathroom. Blood on pillowcase in bedroom. Kitchen was very well supplied. The building is in need of a lot of repair. I have been staying here since 2005, it’s just going down due to age I suppose. The room also smelt like someone was smoking in it.
Tv channels limited. Not enough dishwasher pods Overall it was a great experience. And we will be back again
Ok but not great Fairly old building that needs some updating. Located close to lots of kids activities so traffic was a problem.

Condo 1011 TV didn't work but was replaced. Bathroom lights would flicker and sometimes would not come on. Overall, it was a very good experience.
Great resort, but the condo was lacking I love staying at this resort. I come here every year. This is the first year that I have stayed in a subpar condo. As soon as you open the door you smell a strong moldy/mildewy odor. Due to this fact, I will not stay in this condo ever again. I will, however, stay in this resort again.
Amazing!! I had the best time at SunDestin’s resort!! Super friendly, pleasant atmosphere and all around fun times! Clean beach with beautiful attractions! I will be back!

1011 We loved our stay. There were just a couple of things that could have been better. There was really no place to put your non-hanging clothes. We re-arranged in the closet but would have preferred a chest for non-hanging clothes. We will definitely be back to SunDestin.
Summer vaca Cozy and adequate would be my description of our stay. Big enough for 5 but I wouldn’t recommend more than that.

No frills The store on the first floor is convenient, also great to be beachfront but this complex needs some major updating, including furniture! We had a leak in our bathroom from the floor above us.
Picture Perfect! Flawless stay! The condo was very clean, beautiful views and great location…close to everything. The gift shop ladies were great…funny and sweet, we really enjoyed them. Beds were comfy, kitchen was great and having the option to do laundry on our floor was beneficial too! Brighter lights in the bathrooms would be the only thing that would’ve made it even better but having two bathrooms was a bonus! Thanks for everything SunDestin
Definitely not staying there again! Our room wasn’t cleaned like it needed to be!! We couldn’t get into our room because the battery died on the door. We had to fight to get blankets for the bed. Outside our rooms smelled like old water.
