SunDestin Resort Unit 1001 — Guest Reviews

You get what you pay for Positive: Great views, sanely priced, gorgeous beach and good location Negative: Many things in the condo were in bad shape: hole in the wall where the front door hits it, every balcony chair except 1 was broken and unusable, bathroom sink drawer would fall to a diagonal angle if pulled out, tub had large cracks in the ceramic, TV remote missing busted up missing a corner.

This property is in a prime location with an amazing view, but in desperate need of renovations. Positive: I like the location, not just the location for local attractions, but the location right on the beach was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The view was amazing. Negative: I didn't like that the condo was in desperate need of repairs and updating. There was mold on the vents, Tv remotes didn't work, closet door was jammed shut. The double bed in the ad said a full and twin in one of the rooms. When we got there, it was only 2 twins, so we had to redo our sleeping arrangements. It felt like the repairs that were made were typical of a low rental apartment ran by a slum lord. The coffee pot that was in the kitchen leaked water all over the counter. The icemaker in the fridge barely worked. There was no deadbolt or lock at all for that matter to help keep the kids in at the front door. There was quite a bit of pots and pans, but specific utensils like a pizza cutter were missing. The dustpan was broken, making it hard to sweep. Paint was peeling off the ceiling and dangling. The balcony chairs don't belong outside, They are inside chairs, and due to the rain and humidity the pressboard in them was mushy, so 2 of the 4 chairs we couldn't even use. The furnace filter was so clogged it had sucked itself into a semi dome shape. There was a hole in the wall behind the front door, as well as paint missing on the walls, and repairs in the drywall that were just mudded. Never sanded or painted. There was more. I just don't feel like typing all of it.

The people were very nice helpful I would recommend it highly. Positive: It was clean and roomy. Loved that it was beach front with balcony. Negative: Everything

We’ve stayed at SunDestin several times. Great place to stay. Love the convenience of the onsite restaurant and store. Conveniently located. Beautiful beach and enjoy La Dolce Vita rental umbrella and chair company. Would stay here again.

I was not happy with the furniture on the balcony.

Great condo Property was as described. Very clean and great location. It is an end condo so it feels more secluded. The location is very convient. Will definitely stay again.

Great place Everything was great except that it had a mildew smell when you walked in. We had to get a candle to help. And more towels would have been really nice. It was well equipped

Guadalupe Muy lindo y cómodo sin duda me hospedare el próximo verano.

Beautiful view This condo was very beautiful has 3 nice views of the beach area. This condo was very nice and clean everything we needed for our vacation. Washer & dryer located on the same floor. This was a great location right in the middle of everything. The front desk was very nice and helpful

Great vacation We loved our vacation we will stay here again.

Awesome Love the location staff was great but room conditions were to old they have to b remodeled not enough outlets to plugs ph chargers but over all stay was awesome we will come back

Room 1001 Overall the room was quite nice. The new counters. sink and faucets in kitchen and bathrooms were quite an improvement. Could use a paint and cupboard upgrade but was quite liveable. Patio furniture quite nice and furnishing in rooms was good. Any issues we had were addressed promptly and satisfactorily by maintenance personnel. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to next year.

Good location. Poor condition Destin is great! Accommodations were less than average. Dishwasher was out of service with an inch if stagnated water in the bottom. There were no hotpads, no baking sheet or pizza pan and all cabinets throughout the entire place were in poor shape. Asked about hotpads and was told only essentials were provided anything else would be up to me to purchase. Water was cleaned out if dishwasher on the third day. Would go to Destin again, but not there.
