Room great… staff service not so great When we first got there the staff said that our original booked room was having a maintenance issue (they didn’t tell me what it was). They put us in a different room… this rooms view was absolutely awful and was legit garbage… no joke you looked down and there was garbage. Then the next day we couldn’t even enjoy our entire beach day because we were told we would be moving rooms… this didn’t happen until around 2pm… so that cut our beach day short. The guy upfront tells me before moving to our other room that “the cleaning ladies turned the heat on so for some reason your room is super hot, we turned the air back on but it may take awhile for your room to cool down.” We get into our correct room and the room is hot (as expected)… but it stayed hot our entire stay. It wouldn’t get lower than 74 degrees, I have 2 small children and we were all hot trying to go to sleep. So needless to say, I’m pretty sure the maintenance issue was the air unit not working but they didn’t want to tell me that. The original booked room was very nice with an excellent view. I asked management to contact me and left my phone number twice and they wouldn’t speak to me. Will not be staying here again.

Pleasant Perfect size for a couple. I would recommend a different property if you have kiddos with you though, sleeping arrangements didn't go so well with a 4 and 7 year old. Again, Perfect property for a couple though.

Great for the Family Weekend Getaway It was perfect for our family for a weekend to enjoy the Beach and Outlet Mall and great Restaurants... Definitely will rent again !

False advertisement & major safety hazards Positive: Stayed in Unit 204 from March 26–29 for what was supposed to be our 10-year anniversary trip with our kids, and it was extremely disappointing. We booked SunDestin specifically for the splash pad and family-friendly amenities, but the splash pad was closed and there was major construction that was not disclosed anywhere on Booking.com. The main lobby was torn up and inaccessible, which made the overall experience feel chaotic and unfinished. There were also serious safety concerns, especially with small children: • Plywood ramps with exposed screws leading to our room • Exposed elevator areas with wiring exposed • Poorly secured barricades with open fall risks from the second floor merely blocked with plywood with gaping sides On top of that, this is advertised as a non-smoking property, yet we repeatedly smelled marijuana on our balcony, and people were openly smoking marijuana on the beach within just a few feet of families and our children. We ended up having to leave the resort to find safe and usable amenities for our kids, which completely defeated the purpose of the trip. Very frustrating experience, especially for a family-focused resort. I would strongly recommend staying away from this resort— using false advertisement to gain bookings is insane. Great stay Convenient and affordable

FAMILY FUN AND MEMORIES We arrived at 2pm and our unit was available for Early Check-in ! The Property was very clean, which made us feel right at home. The Kitchen was well-equipped, we loved outdoor grill. We enjoyed Morning Coffee on the Balcony while watching Dolphins. The kids loved the Pool and Beach. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property for Family and Couples looking for a Fun and Relaxing Getaway! This is Our 3rd time at this Property and we Will Definitely Return !!

Will visit again Positive: Cleanliness and home feeling Negative: The construction made things difficult. Also not enough luggage carts when its check out time.

Not as advertised. Horrible inconsiderate management. We were told that construction was over prior to our arrival, which was not true. The room we booked was under construction so they made us do a split stay and nobody knew what was going on and they couldn’t tell me what time I could switch rooms.

Under construction but nice view of the Gulf of America Positive: 1Beech front view is of course very nice . 2Joe smos. David the beech dude. Negative: 1.Nearly 400.00$ to rent two chairs and an umbrella for less than a full week. Come on My first car was 600.00$ . 2.under construction.3 going to have a parking lot that is too small when the construction completed.

My stay at Destin First time staying in Destin and first time staying at SunDestin everything was more than we expected. They had construction work going on, but it didn’t bother us.

Loved being right on the beach and having the beautiful gulf view and sounds of the ocean. Short drive to all the great places Destin and surrounding communities have to offer.

Great condo, convenient location, easy beach access

Awesome experience This is my second time and there will be many more to come! Love it here.

Pool We rented 204 because it was above pool. We rented it almost 6 months ago. Didn’t say anything about pool being closed . Other than that no complaints.

Construction issues Our stay was great as usual but the construction was loud. The parking was also an issue due to construction. I think they should have let us know about the major construction project that will take 3 years when we booked. We definitely would have stayed somewhere else.

Good view Great location. Guest services not so great.
