This was a great place to stay. Perfect view of Sopris!

Really enjoyed the accommodations and especially the water pressure in the master bedroom shower. It is not far off the highway. Ideal location for a weekend getaway when visiting Aspen, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs. Will definitely book again.

This was the ideal spot for us.Beautiful view enjoyed the sunset and sunrise. Master bedroom shower had great water pressure was able to get in and out without having to feel like I hadn't got a full rinse.

It was amazing place with great view. Wish they had jacuzi hottub as well, besides that- the money we paid would be worth it-had they had hottub. The deck door was not opening but was accessible from guest room. I would visit back again! Great views for sure and peaceful.

The house was ideal for the two of us, but would easily accommodate four, as well. Comfortable bed, large washer/dryer and the other appliances are all relatively new. Great deck with unobstructed views of Mt. Sopris. As others have noted, definite road noise, but the windows and doors effectively shut it out. We liked the proximity to Carbondale and, as avid bicyclists, the Glenwood City-to-Aspen bike path.

We loved Sopris Sundeck. It was the perfect getaway. We didn?t realize it was a guest house but it didn?t even matter. We would love to stay again it?s on our keep list. One of the most accurate Airbnb?s I have been to. Loved it!

This is a fantastic spot! It looked exactly like the photos and was super clean. The linens and towels were nice and the kitchen was very clean and well stocked. The view on the deck of the valley and Mt Sopris is gorgeous. You can hear some road noise from hwy 82 below, but the view is so beautiful it?s ok. We brought our dog with us and they have a convenient pet waste receptacle on the porch to dispose of bags-very handy! Beautiful spot on HWY 82. Just a short drive to Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Aspen and all the other towns in the valley. Beautiful views of Mt Sopris. Will be back.

The view from this place is even better than the pictures and the house is well decorated and comfortable. There is road noise from the highway below but who cares when your view is this beautiful.

Centrally located about 30 minutes from Aspen and 15-20 minutes from Glenwood. A bit noisy due to proximity to CO-82.

Beautiful view of the area and Sopris. Private and beautiful property, would definitely rebooks down the road. Yes, you can hear the highway below, but that is the price of a house next the highway - close the doors/windows and bring a white noise machine or pull out one of the fans they provide. You are central to so many beautiful places, which is another major plus and the biggest reason we decided on this location. Wonderful place to stay!

LOVED the view! Convenient location, although as other reviewers said, be aware of noise. Wasn't a real issue for us with music on during the day and white noise at night, but the deck is loud. Home was nice and clean with plenty of supplies. Could have probably used some upgrades/new pots and pans, but didn't really cook so wasn't big deal. Enjoyed our stay and the pup really enjoyed the deck!

Cozy little cabin like feel with modern comfort, and amazing views! My family stayed here while I was on a work trip in the area, and they loved it! Lots of board games and big a deck to play outside on. One small suggestion as someone with toddlers that get into everything is put some child locks on the cabinet doors under the sink where there is detergent pods for the dishwasher. Not the end of the world but would be helpful.

Very nice place. Clean and host was very communicative. There were clear instructions and the home was located in a very nice spot in Aspen. Would stay again.

The Sopris Sundeck was perfect for our family. We loved the privacy, convenient location, wildlife, and the view from every room is beautiful! The kitchen had everything we needed if we wanted to cook and restaurants were close by if we choice to eat out. The host was great and responded quickly to any questions or concerns. We had a great week and would love to stay at the Sopris Sundeck again.

super proactive, responsive and made sure we felt like home

This house worked great for us (2 adults and 2 small kids). It was close to all of the things we wanted to do. It was very clean. The views are spectacular and just what we wanted. The kitchen was equipped with the basics. They were short on kitchen towels and pot holders which they think went missing. They were going to re-stock those items. You do have to take a flight of stone steps from where you park to where you stay. So guests with mobility issues might have problems. My only observation was road

I would definitely stay there again! It was a great spot to use as "home base" as we explored the area. It was safe, clean, comfortable and nothing beats the views of the sunset and sunrise!

Sopris Sundeck was a wonderful stay for our family while visiting Carbondale. We loved the beautiful views of the Roaring Fork Valley from the deck. We stayed for a week and were able to work remotely and cook meals. The management company, Boutique Mountain Homes, is very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay at the Sopris Sundeck. The view was iconic and the house itself was clean, comfortable, and everything we needed for a mountain getaway. The drive into Aspen/Snowmass was about 30-40 minutes and only 5-10 into Carbondale. Plenty to do in the area and a wonderful house to come back to after a long day exploring!

Had a wonderful stay in Carbondale at Sopris Sundeck!! We enjoyed exploring a part of Colorado we havent had the opportunity to see yet. Appreciate the transparency regarding the highway noise. Definitely not a deal breaker but glad to know ahead of time. Super clean, comfy accommodations with great hosts. If youre able to, check out Maroon Bells and Independence Pass! If youre in need of a latte Bonfire coffee is a must!!

Great place and great Location! The site of Mount Sopris was beautifu! Your place was perfect for our family! We had reservations for Iron Mountain Springs and rafting on the CO River and this was only a short drive to either place. You must visit the Sweet Colotadough family owned place down the road, it is a Gem!

We stayed two nights and absolutely loved it! Very easy access to Glenwood springs and Aspen. It was very clean and perfect space for four people.

The home was clean and inviting. Check in and check out were very easy. The home supplied everything we needed while there. Sitting on the back deck, viewing the mountain and river, was so relaxing. The host gave great directions to home, gave information about restaurants, and activities to do. It was a very comfortable home for four adults. We will gladly stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

The property and location could not have been more perfect. Short drive to Glenwood Springs and also Aspen. The are had so much to do but it was also perfect to sit T the home on the deck. Every evening we saw mule deer down in the valley. If your a sunrise and coffee or sunset and wine the home and deck is the perfect place

This place is just awesome! The view of Mt Sopris and huge deck are worth the stay. Sopris Sundeck is minutes away from Aspen, Basalt and Carbondale. This is our second stay and we are planning another later this year.

My family and two dogs stayed here for the local sheepdog trial. The location is private yet 5 mins to downtown Carbondale, 10 mins to the dog trial, and 20 mins to Glenwood. This home has the absolute best view of Mount Sopris, is clean, and is decorated beautifully. I loved staying here and hope to be back soon.

We stayed at The Sopris Sundeck for a weekend of lacrosse tournaments that our granddaugher was participating in. The location was ideal. Great two bedroom place to stay close to lively Carbondale and not too far from Aspen-Snowmass skiing. Be sure to check out Carbondale center of town restaurants and breweries. House had a beautiful terrace and lots of natural light. Slightly noisy road below. Hosts were extremely helpful and responsive at any time of day and night. Would recommend!

We enjoyed our stay very much, but there were a few things that should be called out in the review for others to know. First, the road to the house is a steep, twisty, single-vehicle road with a narrow driveway, so it requires some very careful driving to access with some driving in reverse when another vehicle approaches. Second, throwing out the trash for a longer stay requires loading the trash in your vehicle and driving down the road to the dumpsters (not really a short walk). Third, since the home is

We were so surprised by how beautiful this place was when we first pulled up! It was a perfect snowy winter day and we had a stunning view of Mount Sopris directly from every window in the house. It was clean, cozy, and the perfect size for 3 people, especially because there are two full sized bedrooms and bathrooms. It was an easy 40 min drive to Aspen, where we were spending some time. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time here! The house is located close to grocery stores, downtown Carbondale and a nice big park that was so great for our pup! I knew that this place was close to the road when I booked, but that is definitely the ONE thing that about this place we wish were different. If you're looking to be secluded in the mountains with no noise, this isn't the one. Overall the house and host were great.

Excellent stay! What a gorgeous place and perfect location. Place was clean and comfy. Had all of the amenities we needed and host had clear instructions and area guide! We spotted mule deer, elk, turkeys, and hummingbirds during our stay. Got to catch the super blue moon too over mt sopris. Great food nearby and easy to get to surrounding areas to hike. We?d love to come back again in the future!

We stayed here while attending a family event in the Glenwood Springs area. The property was comfortable and well-equipped, but the greatest feature is the view of Mount Sopris. There are stores and restaurants conveniently nearby in Carbondale. I would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful place to stay in a great area! My only problem was we had to clean our dishes and take out the trash, which I would think would be incorporated in the large cleaning fee.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house had everything we needed! Comfortable beds, high ceilings and nicely decorated. The views off the large deck were incredible! Over 180-degree view of the valley with Mt. Sopris the focal point. You get to see the sunrise and sunset all from the deck. The road up to the house is not great but is drivable and we did have a AWD vehicle which helped. We highly recommend this place.

This was a fantastic location and amazing views. We were looking for a nice quite location to relax and get away from the city and this was it. Charming cabin-like feel but still had everything you needed to feel like a home without feeling cramped. The place was very clean and had all the amenities listed. The wifi was great at this location so no issues getting access on a computer or phone.

Beautiful view that will make you want to eat at home. The beds were comfy, linens were soft and clean. The place is decorated nicely and updated. Did I mention the view?

This cabin is amazing. Beautiful inside but the best are the views of the mountains!!! We loved to stay there. Is close to everything, Aspen, Sunlight Snowmobiles, a lot of things to do or just to relax in the cabin. We have a golden retriever and this a perfect place for your pet because they feel the nature around!!! Next time we come back to the area for sure we will renting this cabin again. I'll stay at the Sopris Sundeck was absolutely amazing, and it well exceeded our expectations. The house was in a private location with beautiful scenery all around us. The house was super clean and everything was exactly as indicated on the listing. The Cactus Vacations team was also very responsive when our Wi-Fi did not work initially and we were able to get that resolved very quickly which I appreciated. I highly recommend this place to other travelers who want to explore the Carbondale, CO area!
