This place was great for my friends and I who stayed here for Dreamcon. Great Walking distance to restaurants and downtown. I recommend this place for but when catching Lyft/Uber use the address 212 Comal St. it will take you right out from of the ally way to get to the place! Beside that would book again!
Great fun and value Positive: Well defended against the heat, great outdoor seating, very comfortable beds. Great for a travelling group, although more kitchen seating would be good. Negative: Access to the property is through a lane way which wasn’t clear. Lock to one bathroom didn’t work and a smoke detector was broken off from the ceiling. Lots of mosquitoes, and the sofa bed was less than comfortable and not made up on arrival. Also experienced some unexplained flooding in one bathroom.

I would recommend the location and property. Hanging out with a group is much easier outside than inside the property and easy walking distance.

Great location in East Austin and convenient for business travel! Positive: Great location! Easy to get a rideshare, and walkable to plenty of great restaurants and outdoor bars. There is even a train station close by. Much quieter than downtown. Nice outdoor space. Easy to access and helpful instructions via phone. Negative: There's no real indoor living room to hang out in at the end of a long day. The bed was a bit sweaty at night. Also the outdoor gates / rock path were tricky to navigate with luggage.

Great spot in East Austin that’s walkable to a ton of food and drinks on 6th. House was well laid out and slept my family of 5 perfectly.
Our stay was a very last minute decision, due to hurricane beryl. Ether way urban stay understood and was very flexible in our arrival and check in. Not only did our host communicated fast and efficiently but they were very nice and helpful. Even tho the place was catered more towards adults, I’m glad to say we made it work and overall would consider coming back without our kids. The area was a great location, both for restaurants and other necessities.
Porsha was a great host and very responsive to all messages. Our original Airbnb had to cancel last minute and the UrbanStay team hosted us here for a music festival. The place looks exactly like the pictures and walkable to plenty of restaurants/bars. There were some bugs during the stay but the team remedied the issue quickly and I would definitely recommend!
Guys trip I’d recommend 2 things: In boarding pass, tell guests to leave the gate padlocks off after arriving. We inadvertently locked in the unit 1 guests for a couple hours our first morning there.Also, you need to upgrade your bath towels. They’re below college flophouse quality. Nothing I would write a review on, but not acceptable.
From the location, to the private back patio area, extremely walkable to nearby restaurants and bars, and was very quiet which made this stay really great. I could deduct a star for cleanliness, but didn’t. Walking in and seeing a bunch of bugs on the floor, hair on the bedding, hair in the shower, and a dead cockroach next to the main door that was stuck to the floor didn’t make me feel as if I could walk around barefoot and made me wonder when the last time this place had a good mopping. I live in the south, so I know bugs are just part of the territory, but a quick sweep to remove them before guests arrive would’ve been nice. But still, overall good value for the money that was paid. Loved the walkable location and felt safe in the neighborhood.
DON'T BOOK THIS PROPERTY !! Positive: Location was okay. Negative: Don't recommend booking this. The place was worn, dirty and lacked in a lot of ways. NOT ENOUGH CUPS/PLATES ETC. The kitchen didn't have the utensils, plates, cups etc. as listed so we didn't have enough for all 7 people staying in the house. We had to buy plastic cups instead and only some could drink coffee due to lack of mugs. BEDS UNMADE AND NOT ENOUGH BEDDING/TOWELS FOR ALL GUESTS Upon arrival, the beds in the 3 bedrooms were made (accommodating 6 people) but the remaining beds (for 2 people) weren't made nor was there provided any sheets, duvet, pillows or towels for these - meaning that 2 guests couldn't sleep there or shower!! We accepted that we had to make these beds ourselves but when we noticed that all the bedding etc. wasn't in any of the rooms, I raised the issue to the hosts who 1) first didn't believe me and asked me to text pictures of the unmade and non-existent bedding as proof, 2) told me that they'd told the cleaning crew to make these beds hence the confusion (this story changed the next day and we were told that these 2 beds were up to guests themselves to make), 3) host said they'd send someone over the following day with the missing bedding/towels "provided they have them in stock" (the message we received). We were staying Friday-Sunday and received the bedding/towels on Saturday afternoon. So, essentially half of the stay was without bedding/towels for part of the guests. PULL-OUT SOFA IS NOT A BED You are basically sleeping on the floor as the bed is part broken. There is NO support, and you cannot call it a bed. NO BAG STORAGE Please be aware that the host doesn't allow bag storage before/after check in. NO REFUND Despite everything, the host is refusing to acknowledge the issues we have raised and will not give a partial refund because "the issue with the pillows and bedding was resolved the following day and did not significantly affect your...

Nice 3BD apt on east Austin Positive: This was. It the original place we booked but was very nice with an outside yard with a fire pit Negative: There was no real living room to stay, weird layout, but fortunately they had the yard. Also to go to the front road you had to go through the neighbours yard.
We loved this little place other than the alley parking witch was totally fine just hard to park 😂 but we love this place the beds were cozy and the decorations where on point will definitely stay again

While the host was responsive this is not a property I would ever recommend. There was not a single comfortable place to sit in the entire house. There is no couch. The dining room chairs are filthy dirty and stained. We had to bring patio furniture inside to sit on as an alternative. We also improvised by using a cot to make a couch and it was disgustingly dirty. The straw that broke the camels back is roaches!!! We found two giant roaches in the house! One was found in the bed upstairs and the other crawled into my suitcase! This is NOT acceptable! We were issued a credit for the cleaning fee because of the roaches.
The accommodations are good and the location is great. It’s a quiet area, but restaurants, bars, breweries, and shopping are just a short walk. Even downtown is walkable or a short Uber/Waymo ride away. I would stay here again.
Everything about the house was just as described! The team was very responsive and flexible with check in, the house was clean on arrival, and it's a great location for walking to activities, restaurants, and coffee shops!

Great stay for a weekend Austin! Recommend
The place is okay, very easy access to most places in Austin. But, it was in not so good area of Austin. The floor was dirty that our socks would be black in 10 steps. There were some bugs like roaches, spiders etc. I wouldn't say it was a bad place, but just okay place.
The location was absolutely amazing—right in the middle of everything and super easy to get to all the best party and drinking spots in Austin. The space itself was very spacious, spotless, and comfortable. Perfect place to relax before and after going out. Highly recommend this spot if you want a fun stay with both comfort and convenience!

Great place to stay near 6th street in Austin. Clean, quiet, two parking spots for cars. Easy to check in, will definitely book again for the next trip back to Austin.
I stayed here for one night, was supposed to be 4, ended up canceling because it was not was I was expecting. The rooms smell awful, no good ventilation, the bathrooms smell. The beds had bugs on them, and the lock felt unsafe from how flimsy it was. The area is nice, but they need to up their maintenance.

This duplex is just blocks from all that East Austin has to offer. Well located with a nice outdoor covered area, we were able to enjoy the proximity to the bars and restaurants of the neighborhood one night, and grill and cook out the next. We were in town for the Austin Marathon so prices were high everywhere, but this unit had plenty of room for our 4 person party.

Ended up not staying. Positive: Nothing. Negative: Property was in a rundown neighborhood. Also located next to a junkyard and there was trash next to the house. There was graffiti on the house next door. Ended up not staying. They took the payment out a month ahead and would not issue a refund.
Really enjoyed our stay. The home really fit the feel of Austin. It was clean, secure, and really close to downtown. If I’d change anything it would be to add drapes, blinds, or a privacy tint on the windows in the living areas so you wouldn’t be able to see in from outside. Overall we highly recommend this home and would stay here again.

Don't stay here unless you are ok with sub-par maintenance, cleaning, and bugs. Positive: The location of the property is great - near shopping and food, etc. The beds are comfortable. The maintenance staff was very friendly and fixed the clogged toilet right away (even though customer service said they wouldn't be able to get there until the next day). It is decorated nicely, and the air conditioners keep the home very cool. The kitchen has everything you need. Negative: Everything could have been better. The place is very small and weirdly organized and not very well cleaned. The bedroom with two single beds is downstairs and the master and other bedroom are upstairs. The one television, although huge, is hung in the kitchen. The only seating available near the tv are uncomfortable kitchen bar stools (without a back - they look cute but are not comfortable) or cheap plastic chairs by the small "dining" table. There is a futon couch upstairs that faces the stairway wall. No place to actually sit together and relax to watch a movie or unwind or whatever unless you want to sit outside in the heat in the cute outdoor area they have. The walls are ridiculously thin - the neighbor's snoring woke me up multiple times. The towels are stiff and scratchy. They give you one towel per person and leave them on the beds. No washcloths. The first time we tried to use the downstairs bathroom (30 minutes after we arrived), the toilet was clogged, would not flush, and flooded. There was no plunger in sight, so I had to call customer service who informed me it was after the maintenance staff's shift so they would not likely be able to come and take a look until the next morning. I was furious! However, the very kind maintenance man showed up within the next hour and resolved the issue. Throughout the stay (2 nights) there were multiple huge cockroaches crawling around - in the bedrooms, in the kitchen, on the stairs. It was disgusting. I understand humid areas attract bugs but hire an exterminator. Guests who pay such prices should NOT have to deal with bugs. This space is fine for people only going there to party. A family looking to enjoy Austin and relax afterwards should not stay here.
Positive: I was a little bit worried about the instructions of how to find the house and the passcodes to the padlock for the gate and how to unlock the house. But the instructions given were easy to follow and everything worked without any issues. All the appliances like the washer, dryer, stove and dishwasher work really well. The bedrooms and the restrooms were nice and clean.
Good for the price, overall fine. Positive: The location was amazing, the beds were moderately comfortable and the digital/home security and age of the home was adequate. This place felt fair for the price, although I wouldn’t stay longer than 4 days. Negative: The parking was tighter than expected in the back but not undoable, there were dead insects scattered thru the home, and wall A/C units instead of central heating and cooling was not my favorite, although not a deal breaker.

Perfect little place This is a perfect place in East Austin. The apartment is spotless and counts with a pretty outdoor area. The location is perfect, with plenty of restaurants and a couple of music and comedy venues a couple of blocks over on East 6th Street, plus it's a quick walk to downtown Austin itself if you should want to. Not to mention the airport is quite close. Communication with the property managers is one of the best features - so very caring and responsive. Professional indeed.
