Positive: Cozy, well-located place near downtown, markets, and restaurants. The host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Ideal for a couple or small family. Paid parking is available within a 7–10 minute walk. Some minor noise from the upper floor, but nothing disruptive. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Positive: Lovely warm and cozy loft apartment, walk to the train, bus, Chinatown or a little further to the city. 🙂 Negative: My partner didn't like the soft mattress or the two flights of narrow stairs up to the loft, but no problem for me.
Honestly, this place is great! I’ve never used Airbnb before. I had 2 bookings there in the span of a month, and it was pretty nice. The location is super close to Pimisi station (train station). There are 3 units in the building and I couldn’t hear the other guests. All my questions and inquiries were answered quickly. Most importantly, the location was pet friendly! I would give room to improve the wifi connection. Sometimes, I was unable to join the main wifi. However, they provided me with their backup internet so that I could continue my work.
Cold, uncomfortable, needed to get takeout as oven didn't work. Not worth the price charged. Positive: accommodating early check in. pet friendly. located near downtown. Negative: Oven is broken, the bake setting does not work. the couch and bed are very uncomfortable, leading to stiff necks and body aches. The shower handle is not caulked securely and the water seal on the door is broken. Front door locking mechanism is temperamental. Unit door lets a huge draft in due to gap in the frame making the living room extremely cold. Construction next door and lots of big trucks using street in the middle of the night.
Large comfortable bed in a well-priced, small apartment with a good location and responsive hosts. Positive: The apartment had nice decor and was clean. The bed was huge and the master bedroom was very comfortable. The location was great for us with access to downtown offices, tourist areas and nearby transit. Also easy driving access to the Quebec side of the city. Overall it was an excellent stay for our family (two adults and two kids under 10). Negative: Only downside is that the plumbing was rather loud in the upstairs apartment. When they flushed the toilet, it made a loud sound in our apartment. It was also a smaller apartment. I wouldn’t choose this place with older children. These are minor things compared to the positives.

The hosts are great with communication. I've stayed here before under different hosts or owners. I liked that it was central and easy to drive in to various parts of town - that being said, street parking can be tricky especially with the construction of the townhouses next door and the other various condo construction to the north. I was there for three weeks, and I found the kitchen was under-kitted for regularly making food. Internet speeds were good. Overall, I had a good experience here.
Rine and Lou were great host. Very responsive and the air bnb was very easy to find and to check into. I would recommend for both short and long stays as it’s close to down town but not too too close. I would recommend to anyone travelling to ottawa looking for a great place to stay and i’d love to stay here again. Thank you Rine and Lou

Great location, just a short walk from the train station, in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. After a full day of exploring, it was wonderful to come back and sleep on such a comfortable bed. We also appreciated having a well-equipped kitchen, which made it easy to prepare our own breakfast. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. To top it off, they even provided a thoughtful welcome treat, which was a lovely way to start our day. We would definitely stay here again.

Very good tiny place
This unit was exactly as described. It was spotless and clean upon arrival and check in instructions were very simple with no issues getting access into the building and the unit. It was very quiet as well. I never saw / heard another guest within the building. The host was VERY responsive when I messaged. From the first day of communication before we booked right until the very end our host responded within minutes every time. Check out instructions were easy as well with no issues or concerns. We were within walking distance to so many restaurants and other things to do. Highly recommend, I would book again on my next stay.

I loved my stay at Rine and Lou's apartment. Perfect location to attend Bluesfest, visit Chinatown, downtown Ottawa and hop on a bike on the nearby bike paths to explore the sites along the Ottawa River. There is also a main transit station just steps away to quickly take you east or west of Ottawa. The bed is very comfortable and loved having a morning tea on the back deck. I appreciated the effective air conditioning units as I stayed during a hot spell. Rine and Lou are very lovely with their proactive and responsive communications before, during and after my stay. I felt very welcomed and would love to stay again.
Very convenient downtown accommodations nestled on a quiet street.
Make sure to double check the photos provided on the third party app they use, as the photos in this ad might not be the unit you are getting. You will not get the exact address or unit number until your check in time so don’t plan to arrive early or even on time. If you are unlucky enough to be in the bottom unit, you will hear the guests above shower and flush the toilet. It sounds like a waterfall gushing into the bedroom. Keep your socks on while staying here as the floors are not installed great and feel sharp on the feet. Unfortunately the place was not clean on our arrival. We were also provided 1 roll of toilet paper for 4 nights, as well as 1 towel each, with no bath mat. Hosts are “responsive” but their replies seem AI or robotic. We dealt with a chirping smoke or co detector in the entryway, right by the bedroom, our entire stay with no resolution. We may have paid more due staying through Canada Day, but this was NOT worth over $1000 for 4 nights based on what we saw.

This is my second time staying at this property, now in the ground floor unit. It is spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The hosts Rine and Lou are great. I highly recommend.
Amazing, worth the price Positive: Everything was clean and well furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed. The TV is a nice plus as well! The owner of the place replies fast and was always extremely pleasant and polite during our exchanges (I had a lot of questions and they always answered timely and nicely.) The price was very good as well! Would definitely recommend :) Negative: There’s no available parking nearby and the street parking regulations are kinda confusing, so be sure to plan your overnight parking plan in advance.

Absolutely loved the space. it was nice cozy and had everything I needed. it was good walking distance to places I needed to get to and the WiFi was superfast. The hosts were also super responsive and friendly. 10/10 experience 😅 Would absolutely stay there again when I'm in Ottawa.

Diese Unterkunft bietet nicht nur das, sondern befindet sich quasi genau zwischen Downtown und Centretown auf der einen sowie Chinatown und Little Italy auf der andere Seite. Hervorragend geeignet als Ausgangspunkt für Stadterkundungen in beide Richtungen.

As a newly widowed person in my 60s I realized there are some questions I need to ask before I book Airbnbs . I did not ask about parking which was 5 minutes away. I was coming home from the hospital late at night and did not have the energy or the confidence to walk on the street from parking. If my husband had been with me, we would have embraced the time to get some fresh air and walk. A beautiful, very well appointed apartment with the most responsive hosts I have ever seen at Airbnb.

The attention to detail is extremely impressive :) I had left my sweatpants and made sure it got to me. So so thankful :) the best hosts !!!
ok, but I won't be back. Positive: The hosts were generally kind and responsive, though sometimes with a delay of an hour or so. The apartment is decorated fairly nicely and they thought of some small extras like providing snacks, laundry detergent, shower products and even toothbrushes! The kitchen had most things one would need. There was even a usb plug but it turns out that had been forgotten by a previous guest and wasn't left by the host. Negative: First, I didn't like that just before arrival they required me to log into another website, provide personal info and pay a deposit. Then important info like door codes and check in/out procedures were provided there. That felt a little wrong - I booked thought booking.com so everything should be there. Another $100 security deposit last minute wasn't good. There were lots of little problems. The smoke detector in the stairwell kept beeping (low battery, probably). The bed is rather bowl-shaped leading to back pain. There were no scissors in the kitchen. We had no control over the temperature other than to contact the host who took like an hour to adjust it (throw blankets and a space heater would have been nice - the host thought there was a space heater but there wasn't). The worst thing was the front door was too small for the door frame by several centimetres - you can see around it! (see photo). Also several pieces of furniture were a little broken - drawers under the bed and a side table, for example. And it had been a long time since anyone deep cleaned - the drawers where I wanted to put my clothes were full of dust, for example. I would have also liked more dishes. There were 3 or 4 of everything (except only 1 soup spoon) - but that meant we kept handwashing bowls and mugs because it wasn't worth it to run a full sized dishwasher with just a few things in it. If you're going to have a large dishwasher, have enough dishes that it is worth using. I also would have appreciated a dish brush and sponge for handwashing dishes and a drying rack for them. The location is close to the transit (O Train) but at least a 10-15 minute walk from anything else - not even a convenience store nearby. Finally, I disliked having to take the garbage out as part of check-out procedures (don't we pay enough in cleaning fees etc.. for that?) and hated that there was no compost of recycling so it all goes to landfill.
Beautiful place, great location, the host was very friendly and flexible even with our late check in and checkout extension. Located near the heart of Ottawa. Would definitely recommend and visit again!
Heat control Positive: Cleanliness Negative: Heat control is not in the apartment and had its own issues during my stay. They tried to fix the heater as it was way too hot in the apartment. There was a portable heater in the room and I turned it on to read the temperature and at one point, it went up to 25 (or 27 degrees C) I had to open the windows in January.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay! The host was incredibly responsive and always available whenever we needed anything — even replying to us at 4am when we reached out. Communication was smooth and reassuring from start to finish. They were also very kind and flexible, allowing us a late check-out since we had luggage and nowhere to go, which helped us so much. After we left, we realized we had forgotten our glasses, and the host immediately contacted us and even offered to bring them to us. Such thoughtful service and genuine care are rare to find. Highly recommend this place — you’ll be in great hands!

I really liked the walking friendly area even in an ice storm. It’s a quiet area. The apartment is wonderful, clean and relaxing. I will definitely book this place on my next visit to Ottawa.
Positive: Great location Negative: The unit could have used extra blankets as it was extremely chilly, we noticed that some of the drawers were missing handles, and a broom and dustpan would have been useful to tidy up a little throughout the stay. Otherwise it's a great location though.

Feels like home, super cozy! Positive: The host was very detailed oriented and responsive. Instructions were clear and we felt welcomed and attended the whole time we stay there. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything you could need! And the place was spotless clean when we arrived. The security system and the Enso Connect app made the check-in and check-out much more easier as it showed the information with pictures. And! It’s well located, closer to downtown, Chinatown, Little Italy and transport! Negative: Limited street parking for drop-off and pick up.
Super petit appartement cosy Positive: Cet appartement est vraiment très bien. Ce qui nous a plu : La proximité du métro, l'équipement ultra complet, la propreté, les petits attentions des propriétaires et l'appartement est cosy et chaleureux. Et une petite terrasse/balcon en plus ! La place de parking payante est un plus, il faut juste penser à deposer ses bagages à l'appartement avant d'aller garer la voiture. Le chemin jusqu'à l'appartement se fait rapidement en 5mn à pieds ensuite par un grand escalier dans la rue. En métro, Downtown et Basseville sont très proche. On est très content du séjour 😄 Negative: Lit trop mou à notre goût.
