It was awesome. Great stay. Great location on Door County Positive: Location was great. Negative: On the stairs, maybe put carpet or safety strips on the steps. Very slippery going down for people.

This is a well appointed, newly remodeled house. Positive: This is a well appointed, newly remodeled house. The space and accommodations would be fabulous for up to 6 guests. Our group of 4 had plenty of seating, lounging and sleeping space. There are chairs and cushions for outdoor seating and Adirondack chairs down near the water. The views and sunsets are amazing at this location. Conveniently there is a small town style bar/restaurant just up the driveway. No noise from it, good food and drinks. Fair price. Communication from the host was thorough and accurate. We will rent either the Beach House or Beach Cottage from Thenell again!! Negative: Would like some not so fluffy sleeping pillows - maybe extras in the closet?? Thanks

We had a wonderful stay and the house was lovely. The kitchen was well appointed and stocked with all the necessities cooking and baking. We loved the patio and appreciated the use of the grill as well as the full size washer and dryer. Strong wi-fi, hot showers, and comfortable beds! One of the cleanest properties we’ve rented. Great waterside location for views and relaxing. We also loved the fantastic parks, shops and restaurants in the surrounding Door County area. Don’t skip a traditional fish boil or supper club dinner. Thank you, again!

We had such a wonderful time here that we decided to extend our trip the day before we were supposed to go home! Beautiful scenery, very spacious home, and abundant outdoor space. The house was stocked with everything we needed and was more than enough space for our family of four. A perfect home to make memories in!

The "cottage" is a lovely place, spacious, bright and airy. Windows to all sides allow the view of being near the water. Sunsets are amazing. Everything you need was at your fingertips within a few minutes' drive into town. Definitely would love to return!Hildegard Mintz

We had a wonderful stay at the beach house and truly enjoyed our time there as a family. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made it the perfect place to unwind and create great family memories. We would definitely recommend this beach house to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway, and we hope to return again in the future!

The most beautiful sunset I have ever seen. Great stay with amazing accommodations.

The property was very nice and so peaceful. As others have stated, you do share the area with the cabin renters, but it was not uncomfortable in the least. I would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

Beautiful setting, nice accommodation. The house was clean and up to date. We did have trouble getting the upstairs cool on hot days.

We enjoyed our 3 nites. I did want to point out that upstairs the carpet in the master bedroom was already stained. Looks like the gray carpet has been bleached out.

House was recently renovated. Even with the unique layout, it worked perfectly for us. the multiple convertible couches weren't used but their availability made for flexible accommodations, if it was needed. Would rent again.

Door county impulsive trip Our vrbo was everything we hoped for and more. Definitely planning on coming back for a family get together next time😊 open concept with private spaces so clean and up to date finishes the view was incredible only wish we could have a stayed longer!!

Wonderful Retreat Our friends from Arizona wanted to hike indoor County. I am so happy we found Thennel’s Beach House. It was perfect. Clean. Well equipped kitchen & fabulous sunsets. Our only comment would be: we were there during a very hot time so greatly appreciated the AC. It would be helpful if there were some ceiling fans in the bedrooms to help circulate the air. Other than that, it was perfect.! Jeanne

Wonderful rental! Just as advertised... Everything about our stay was great! The house was extremely clean and comfortable. The bay view was beautiful and the location was perfect for our needs. Would love to return in the future!

Clean and comfortable! Loved the quiet location and it was very clean. We wanted a waterfront location and this worked well. The only thing we did not realize is there is another small property right in front on the water that has the water access. There wasn't anyone staying there so we were thankful we could sit along the water by the smaller VRBO home. Wonderful, responsive hosts!
