Leo Cottage — Guest Reviews

The house is beautifully decorated and set within a lovely landscaped yard. It was in a really good location and was easy to walk to the beach. The kitchen was not functional for cooking full scale meals and was missing a dishwasher which was unusual for an air bnt at this nightly rate and created a concern for the cleanliness of the dishes and pots and pans. The house was comfortable but many of the windows were missing screens. It’s a cottage so we wanted to let the air in.

The Leo Cottage is beautiful, peaceful and private. Our family stayed here for one week this summer and we all agreed we would rent it again. Berrien Beach is less than a five minute walk from the house, as is the town center of Union Pier. The house is gorgeous and feels very secluded and serene.

This was the perfect place for a girls weekend - beautifully curated, well stocked with any dishes, glasswear, utensil you need, a pristine yard and just steps from the beach. We could’ve have asked for a better home and we’ll absolutely be coming back.

The Leo Cottage was very pretty and convienent location. It was clean and the outdoor space was so pretty and fun for the kids. A few quirky things that made the stay a little challening, the water in the kitchen and one of the bedrooms had two seperate faucets that didn't allow you to make warm water unless you plugged the sink. There was no space in the kids bathroom to put a soap dispenser or hand towel. The space in the guest room was very small and the closet wasn't finished/not really a closet so there was no room to put a suitcase (let alone 2) or put anything away. We had to close the suitcase to walk around the bed. Also, we missed that there is no dishwasher- it wasn't a big deal for us we just missed that note. The location was great, 5 min walk to the beach, 5 min walk to restaurants. The outdoor space is beautiful and it came equipped with everything needed for the beach and our stay. We really enjoyed our stay.
