We were a group with two families and the cottage was well set up with bedrooms and a shared bathroom for the parents upstairs, and a common area/bedroom and bedroom with a shared bathroom downstairs. There was plenty of common space with lots to games, and we all loved the hot tub. A really lovely way to spend a long winter weekend.
Red Cottage was very informative and helpful. The place was perfect for a family visit and fit all our needs. The place was clean and stocked well with linens and towels. The kitchen had essentials. It's cozy, the bathrooms and kitchen storage are cozy but well equipped. They plowed often - even with heavy snow. Just note garage isn't available for car use.
Brought my family here for a few nights to ski before Christmas! Super beautiful home. Tons of space. Amazing little gas fireplace. 15 minute drive to the mountain. Has everything you need! We loved it and easily would stay again.
We just enjoyed a 5 day stay, celebrating Christmas early with our kids. The place was exactly as it was described, comfortable, clean and centrally located to all our plans. We visited and ate in Stowe twice, it was just down the road. We had a great experience skeet shooting with Kevin Rogers at WSF&G Club P.O. Box 383, Waterbury, VT 05676 We went snowmobiling at Snowmobiling Vermont, with Chad as our guide, and couldn't have had a better time. Our Ski plans were disappointed by rain, but we made up for it with Christmas morning and going to see a movie at Bijou Theater, just about the cutest, small town theater! We will back to ski, fingers crossed of the weather and would absolutely stay here.
We arrived and the dumpsters which are right next to the house were overflowing. We came back from skiing and the electronic door lock failed to open, i had to make several calls and fonally got the garage code to get in. They actually told me it was due to the cold, which sounds sillly at a ski house. The downstairs toilet chain came off 4 times, i spent half my time in the house fixing the toilet. The last complaint is the hot tub doesnt have a cover caddie. The cover basically falls off the back, covered in snow and ice makes it a heavy lift getting it back in place. If your looking for a realxing enjoyable stress free place to stay this is not the place for you.
The host, Red Cottage, is very friendly and reliable, I have many questions and they answered them very quickly with details. And the communication was very clear and helpful, they gave us good advice on many things. I will recommend them to my friends! And this is a go-to place to stay if you are going for skiing at Stowe!!
This location was perfect for a group skiing at Stowe. The entry mudroom had even more space than we needed for 6 skiers and all of their equipment. Parking was plentiful and well shoveled. Easy enough to get to that we learned the route from the airbnb to town quickly. Would definitely return if we skiied here again.
We had a wonderful time at this home in Stowe! There were 8 of us and we felt right at home. Plenty of space for everyone. It is about 20 minutes from Stowe's resort, but worth the drive as we felt we had a ton of privacy and the surroundings were so peaceful. A private hot tub is a huge plus for the winter as well, so happy to have been able to stay here!

Nous avons passé un super séjour de 3 jours à Stowe qui est un petit village de montagne merveilleux qui vaut le détour. Le red chalet est très agréable pour y séjourner même si un peu en dehors du village qui n’est qu’à 5 minutes en voiture. Nous n’avons pas utilisé la cuisine ni le jacuzzi mais les équipements paraissent parfaitement entretenus. Le dialogue a été très fluide.

We had a nice stay here for a week in the summer. Plenty of space for 6 adults – surprisingly comfortable beds for the size. Area is beautiful, the backyard is big, and the hot tub is nice a well maintained. Mangagement could be a bit improved – the place was barely stocked with paper products and the person we were chatting with didn't seem to have any power to actually help with anything. But overall happy with the value we got for the price.

Beautiful home and city. The pictures are a clear representation on the BNB itself, but being there in person is even better. You are completely surrounded by nature and the sky looks amazing at night time. The home is extremely clean. There are lots of towels and blankets. The kitchen is fully decked out and has everything you need. Highly recommend staying here.
This management company is very prompt in their responses. Let us check in an hour early which was very appreciated. Lovely setting. Hot tub is very nice. The location is great for visiting Stowe. There is so much to do. The house is spacious- deck is great for dining and games. Stowe is a relaxing town- wonderful places to eat.
Was a very peaceful place. A lot of privacy and 10 min from anything you could want or need. Would definitely recommend this place. The host was exceptional in their response times and very helpful.

We recently stayed at the Chalet and it was a wonderful experience. The house itself was cozy and spacious, with a nice backyard including a hot tub. A large deck to relax on and enjoy a cup of coffee. The living room has comfortable seating, a fireplace that made evenings relaxing, and a comfy layout that made it easy for everyone to gather. The tv has all the channels you need and a few board games as well. The kitchen was fully equipped making it simple to prepare meals and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were also well-maintained and stocked with essentials, which was nice. One of the best parts of the property was its location. It felt secluded and peaceful, yet it was still a short drive in to town, local restaurants and Stowe mountain resort. Also, down the road there is a take out Chinese food which was pretty good! Overall, it’s an excellent choice for families or groups looking to stay in a comfortable and inviting setting.

Red Cottage was a great host all around. Excellent communication before and during the stay, and everything was ready for us when we checked in. Very clear instructions for the checkout as well. Overall an excellent experience.
