Excellent stay. Very easy access. Host was immediately responsive on anything I needed. Very, very comfortable bed. All exactly like the photos. Clean and everything I needed. Close to transportation into the city. I chose Sosuites west on the recommendation from my daughter who had stayed before moving to her apartment, only two blocks walk away. Will definitely stay again.

The place itself was amazing but coming from a smaller city, I was frustrated by the lack of parking constantly. This place was definitely a good choice for me and my friend to stay at though and if I'm ever in the area again I'll be sure to come back to SoSuite.

Very clean and easy place to stay.
Very cool space. We liked the loft bedroom. We would have liked a couple more towels, like a bath mat for the floor and some hand towels for the bathroom and the kitchen. A towel rack would have been nice also. We were worried about hanging wet towels on the sticky hangers on the wall. The front desk staff is friendly. Phil was especially helpful when we left our AirPods behind in the apartment.

Great stay overall, the place was clean, comfortable, and matched the listing. Check-in was easy, and the location made it convenient to explore the city. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. I’d definitely recommend it and would stay here again.
I’ve stayed here 3 times this year, this is the smallest unit I’ve stayed in for $700 in total, which includes the $75 non refundable deposit.. there was a leaky toilet but nothing too dramatic… I love this building and the location, everything was clean,hopefully the pricing is due to fifa events in the city

Positive: The apartment was in a renewed building; there was a gym and a common area that unfortunately I did not have the chance to use because I was too busy with work. The kitchen was well equipped. The apartment was satisfactorily clean. It was quiet. Negative: I did not understand form the description that this was an AirBnbB-style short term rental and that the "front desk people" do not work in any way for SoSuite (they are just the concierges for this big building with lots of lofts). Hence nobody can help you with check-in, come prepared and so the online check-in in advance. I texted with the SoSuite people but it was obvious at some point that the responses were AI generated. So at no point I felt I was interacting with people in charge of the rental. If I knew how this worked in advanced I think I would have chosen a more traditional arrangement. Fortunately I had no major issues, besides the fact that the bed wouldn't stay quite in place during the night (some legs were sort of broken). I had to do laundry but detergent was not provided; had to buy a whole bag of Tide capsules for roughly $11 in the laundry room, take that into account if you need to do laundry.
Everything was great. Host was very responsive. Would book again in the future if in area.
Host was amazing! Parking for the most park was okay, a bit of a challenge but each night when we came in late, we found easy street parking! The place was beautiful for a studio, down side was the smaller bed because imma bigger dude but overall?! Love the place, love the host for their communications , love the area, would definitely stay again for sure!

no one to let us in building like it said in the description. had to wait in the freezing weather before a resident eventually let us in. door to unit was unlocked. you can clearly hear upstairs neighbors. windows pour freezing air in due to poor insulation. heater doesn't heat the unit, just the bed area. hosts kept messaging me during stay to complete steps to check-in (after i checked in) on their 3rd party website. constant push/ reminders to book on their 3rd party website next time. trying to go behind airbnbs back which is kind of unsettling from a consumer standpoint. I don't trust this place.
Overall it was a great place. The Amenities are top tier. I can tell they didn’t use a good cleaning service tho. The sink and counter in the bathroom was dirty, it had stains on it. The shower dispensary gels had dirt on top of them. Like literal dirt in between them. Other than the bathroom it was a good place tho, the place just needs a really good cleaning where everything is wiped down and sanitized good. Overall it was a great place.
What a gem! This place is so unique- loved the old feel of the building and the modern lofts inside. The unit is spacious and the full kitchen allowed me to cook meals daily. The gym in the building is huge and has all the equipment most people would need. The Wi-Fi was fast and allowed me to work efficiently as well. I definitely plan to stay again during my next visit to Philly.
Overall, this loft is a functional, affordable, transit-friendly place to stay in West Philly. The bed could be more comfortable (it is pretty firm), and the downstairs is a bit austere, but I expected these things thanks to helpful Airbnb reviews of the place. Only a couple of hours before my check-in time (4 p.m.), I was told my unit would not be ready for another two hours (6 p.m.). I had important, sentimental plans that evening which I had to cancel due to the somewhat sudden late check-in notice. The host offered me a late check-out as a consolation, which was not helpful to me since I scheduled my flights based on the stated check-in and check-out times. I then asked if I could at least enter the building to use the bathroom, since I had just been waiting in a public library with all of my luggage. Also, I know this isn’t the host’s fault, but someone below the unit I was in clearly smokes cigarettes; I had to keep the bathroom door closed because the smell was so strong.

Positive: The large space was fine. Well provisioned kitchen with lots of teas. Water bottle and pretzels, large TV. Good bathroom. Negative: much wear and tear, scratched and Chipped surfaces, warped floor. The bed needed to be propped up to avoid collapsing with a sagging unsupported mattress. Not all people at desk were friendly or helpful.
SoSuite has great customer service and was very responsive. For the price the place was great. Check in was a little slow but it’s no one’s fault, they just have on front desk person that got pulled to other tasks not in the immediate area so I had to wait a bit. Like any old loft building it’s echo-y and you can hear the neighbors a bit but it’s not that bad. The place was clean but there was some hair left in the shower from previous guests. No big deal. Otherwise spotless. I had to work remotely from the place a few days and the wifi worked well and the kitchen table area was very comfortable to work from.

Positive: Location was convenient and it was easy to communicate with the company running it. Suite was as expected and well priced. Negative: The building smelled a lot like weed from the other residents. Bathroom could have been cleaner and layout of bathroom was suboptimal.
This apartment is quite nice, relatively newly remodeled, and sufficiently, if minimally, well equipped. On the downside, parking can be an issue, one of the outlets did not work, and the towels were a bit threadbare (including a tea towel that had a hole in it)
I enjoyed staying with Simon. Everything was even better than the picture! Felt right at home. The unit was clean and comfortable.
I’d 100% bring slippers because I hurt my foot on the stairs to get to the loft where the bed is. Also if you’re not comfortable taking a flight of stairs to and from the bed every time you use the bathroom you might find this apartment inconvenient. Otherwise it was clean enough, had good amenities and an appropriate value. I’d avoid using the drying part of the washer on the morning of your check out because apparently it’s a feature that it locks your clothing in until completely dry even if you set a 30 minute timed dry. Thanks again to the maintenance guy for coming relatively quickly and for getting to the manual release.

Staying in Philly is tricky. It feels like anywhere you stay is a compromise, whether you're giving up basic amenities like heating/air, or a safe location, or cleanliness and comfort. But this place has everything. It's clean, well stocked, looks nice, feels nice, and is a great place to stay. Would recommend.

definitely wouldn’t recommend staying it’s not a safe area to be in.before coming here i told him to cancel basically never acknowledge that i said the area didn’t look safe then i get here no where really to park a lot of of sketchy people outside all types of night! coming into the building there’s a bunch of roaches. also me and my partner woke up with bite marks and rashes on us everyday definitely ruined my birthday weekend! also i feel like it over priced to be in the hood. DONT NOT RECOMMEND!

Simon's listing is good value for your dollar. My biggest issue was how dusty the unit was. It seems like the previous guest had a pet in the unit which left behind a lot of loose hairs. We swept the dining room rug and it seemed like it was barely cleaned. Again, a lot of pet hair clung to various articles of clothing. There were miscellaneous sounds specifically in the bedroom (seems like they came from the AC unit) but they didn't bother me much. Simon is very kind and responsive, and check-in went smoothly. The location was also a major plus. Overall, its a good place to stay.
This was a perfect stay while visiting my daughter in West Philly. I love the walkable neighborhood that is close to several coffee shops and excellent public transportation. The kitchen had everything I needed for preparing simple meals. And the coffee bar was well stocked!

Just okay Positive: Location was perfect for my visit with family Negative: The apartment is just functional but not inviting. The bathroom floor has really dirty grout, the bedding had holes in it and the cabinets have very limited dish ware, and there was a wired never ending noise from some mechanical systems. Just not meeting the expectations of a comfort stay

Nice little place in west Philly that is part of a converted high school. As such, pretty unique in that regard. Bed was cozy and the unit was as described. I would add a note to knock on the front door of the complex upon your initial entry - we weren’t sure how to get in (the first time), but once we had the fob from inside the room it was fine. The only other thing to mention is that the heating units are a bit noisy and there is some noise emanation from the shared walls. Overall, was just fine and we would likely book again.

Overall I had a lovely stay in the loft apartment - it was cosy and comfortable, and had pretty much all I needed. The building is gorgeous, neighbours were quiet and friendly. I really loved the area - yes some parts look a bit rough, but I always felt safe, lots of amenities near by and easy pleasant walk to university city. It definitely has a 'lived in' feel - a little bit less fresh looking than I expected - but I think this is reflected in the price. The only downside for me was the shower didn't have great water pressure. The washer/dryer was not working and despite reporting and following up, it was still not fixed two weeks later when I left. So-Suite apologised but this was frustrating since I was staying for a month and so booked somewhere specifically with this facility. It would also be good to have a vacumn cleaner for longer-stays (although a broom was provided). Overall though I enjoyed my stay and would book again definitely.
Good location but I'll look for a better alternative next time. Positive: Location was the main attraction, and that was good. Negative: Place was industrial and institutional, emotionally cold. Interior of the unit we were assigned was only marginally comfortable. Stairs up to bed/loft were intimidating. Bathroom on lower level was inconvenient at night. Some of the furniture was cheap and uncomfortable. Plenty of space on the property for off-street parking but this was all fenced off and unusable, forcing us to hunt for parking blocks away from the facility. Parking rules forced us to move the car when we didn't want to. When we went our separate ways, we were not allowed to obtain a second entry "fob" to gain access to the property when we returned.

The building is a renovated school with high ceilings. Lots of nice amenities including rooftop terrace and gym. Apartment was nice and clean. Quiet and bed was comfortable but the place was scant on amenities. There was a coffeemaker but no mugs. You couldn’t cook a meal with the few pots, plates etc. I also couldn’t find the remote to use the a/c in the loft so it was hot for sleeping. That said, given what’s available in this area, I’d probably stay there again.
If you are traveling with the pet it is perfect place as they even have dog park. Very clean place, a lot to do inside even if you have rainy day - play pool or ping pong or just go to the gym. All instructions are clear and they have even dog treats at the entrence. Will stay there again.
Excellent place in a somewhat dodgy neighborhood. Kitchen was, by Airbnb standards, very under-equipped. Either bring your own cooking utensils or don’t expect to make much. Front door staff could be a little unpleasant but nothing serious. Washer/dryer worked flawlessly. Ping Pong, pool, abd foosball in lounge.
Third time staying at Philly Sosuite. Highly recommend. Great location and apartments are cozy and comfortable. Roof top lounge is a great addition. Communication with Sosuite staff was excellent. Will definitely stay again.

This is the second time we stayed in one of these units. The rooms are nice for the price, and the location is close to both the train and busses. The staff at the door are all super nice.

Stayed at Sosuite for 4 months and it honestly felt like home away from home. The apartment is quite modern, looks exactly like the pictures and is a bus ride away from central Philly where you’ll find everything you need. Down the road is a 24h CVS and public transportation is easily accessible. Simon was also very responsive.

Please provide written info with regards to TV, local eateries and grocery stores, parking. Positive: I'm not sure what you mean by breakfast? We did like the convenience of being close to who we were visiting. Negative: We do like to cook and one pan, 2 pots, minimal dinnerware and flatware were a little disappointing. Getting comfortable with the heating unit can be a challenging. We understand that because it is a loft and heat rises, it took a couple of days before we felt comfortable. Being that we enjoy watching football, we were disappointed in not being able to watch any games on local channels because they were not available. With all that being said, we would stay again for the convenience of being close to family.
Mediocre to be generous Positive: The location is good. Negative: The walls had nicks and scuffs everywhere. The bathroom didn't look very clean and the white sheets had a black stain. The a/c unit above bed was broken. I left and item in there but by 30 minutes past check out I was locked out and still don't have an update.
