Overall a great stay! Beautiful building and amenities, parking was a hassle but that’s to be expected in Philly. Would stay here again and highly recommend it.

Decent place but getting around the building you need to be in good shape. Positive: I liked that it was conveniently located near Penn Medicine hospital where we had an appointment and there were nice bodegas as well as some restaurants close by. Negative: What I didn’t like is that the hallways were very dark after the sun went down. Also I didn’t like that the step to the front entrance were very step for someone with mobility issues and there was no good parking for short term guests, especially those with handicap parking permits. The unloading area was dark at night and not easily identifiable . The handicap ramp to the building was far from the main entrance where the elevators were located for those with mobility issues, but were not in a wheelchair. So those that could walk but were fall risks have a hard time getting around the exterior as well as interior of the building.

Great listing, just difficult parking
Overall, my stay at Sosuite West Lofts was great! The check in staff was great and the instructions were easy to follow. The Sosuite personnel were also EXTREMELY responsive via text which I am grateful for. The actual building had good amenities as well including the gym. The actual area was peaceful and walkable as well. My only two concerns were the following: 1) Insects in the suite including spiders and a cockroach. 2) The in-unit washer/dryer 2-in-1 did not work. My clothes were always wet. I tried many times using online instructions with similar results so I ended up using the building's communal laundry which was great but did cost money. I would stay here again and recommend to people needing longer accommodation in Philly.
Good location
I loved this building and the unit I stayed in. It’s really big and I did get lost a few times walking around and trying to find the gym but other people who live there were super helpful. It’s just really cool to be in a big old high school. And has great amenities. Also the people at the front desk are great. I had to leave earlier than expected but hope to stay there again soon.
My stay here was pleasant, it was an easy check in/out. The home itself was nice, didn’t have time to explore the building and the amenities listed due to time, keeping that in mind; the building is very big and can get confusing. However after the first night we were able to learn how to get around easily. Parking was fine, having to do a couple laps but eventually you’ll find one. We were also very close to most of the attractions we wanted to see, about 10-15 min drive. Enjoyed my stay!! :)
Great overall, easy access/check-in instructions. Couch was somewhat stained/dirty but everything else was clean. Location isn’t exactly ideal if you’re there for the main touristy Philly activities, but not bad either. Solid deal.
This was a great place to stay while getting some work done in Philadelphia. Spacious and clean, no problems.

Overall this was a nice place in a unique building, and I was grateful we could bring our two cats. There were half a dozen minor things that weren't in great shape in the space, which is why I'm giving four starts instead of five.
Good stay, everything was as advertised. Check in and out was convenient.
Maybe stating that this place bathroom is not on the same floor in the home.

Simon and the Sosuite team were friendly, clear, and responsive- would happily stay at another of their locations. The building was cool, and the loft apartment style room was really nice! Easily somewhere I’d be excited to even live. Would love to stay again! One thing worth noting is that the bed is really on the soft side, so those with bad backs may be wishing for something more firm. Great stay!
Great Place, Loved it!
Comfy little nook. Came with plenty of cleaning supplies. Snappy wi-fi. Furniture is what you need for a party of two. Very secure. Neighborhood is good, several local places to eat out at and a bodega a block away. 7-11/Sunoco also within a block or two. Maybe a half mile from an Aldi if you need some cheap groceries so you can put the well-rounded kitchen through its paces. There's a nice outdoor smoking hole by the cargo door. Wheelchair accessible by the back door/cargo door. Cart supplied. Two separated dog parks, though honestly it's safe enough to walk your puppy on the sidewalk. Parking is a pain. Loading/unloading a car is done in a tow-away zone. Kitchen amenities aren't bad per se, but definitely done by the lowest bidder. Found lingerie shoved under the night stand. Not a bad place to be if you're looking for someplace comfy and slightly upscale to crash for a week if you're consistently eating out, but actually living in there needs improvement.
We enjoyed our two night stay here along with the amenities that came with! The building was easy to find and the unit was very spacious. I felt very secure here. We had to spin the block a couple times to find parking but it was free so we can’t complain there. Could use a deep clean and be aware that there are many random noises (pipes, creaks, etc.) that occur at all hours of the day/night. Wouldn’t recommend if you are a light sleeper. Also, the heat likes to stay up in the bedroom area which leaves the downstairs a little cold but it’s nothing a hoodie can’t fix. Overall, we had a good time here and would stay again.

The coffee machine was broken. There was no access to closet in bedroom (locked). I could not hang clothes. it was cold, despite adjusting the temperature of the thermostat
Love the place. I’ve stayed many times with multiple friends and alone. I’m not a fan of the way the dog cleaning fee hits after you have already booked. Now I know to leave my pups home.

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at Simon's place. The space is very open and clean, and it has the tallest windows I've ever seen! The furniture is comfortable and seemed new, and the TV screen is big and great for watching movies on the couch. The bed is comfortable and it was fun to be in a loft. I asked Simon several questions before and during our stay, and he always responded quickly. My only complaint was that the kitchen was not well-stocked, but Simon welcomed my recommendations of items to purchase to make the kitchen more user-friendly. I'd definitely stay in Simon's apartment again!
Overall was a great stay! They were very accommodating and if there was an issue, it was dealt with quickly! Parking was the only downside, if you got there after dark there was hardly any spots available for street parking.

Our daughter was moving into West Lofts, and we were thrilled to also book a loft in the building while we helped her move. The unit was SPOTLESS, beautifully decorated, quiet, safe and had all the amenities we needed. I only had one question while we were there, and Simon responded almost immediately. I'm so happy to know that we will have a great place to stay when we visit our daughter again in the future! We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
Old high school converted into apartments. While very cool and charming, it has a very confusing layout as a building. Pack your walking shoes!
This place is beautiful and as shown in the pictures, and the neighborhood is very walkable with restaurants and grocery stores nearby. It was a good choice for a long term stay. I had some issues with figuring out how to receive mail (since I stayed for over 30 days) so that’s something to consider. I also had some issues with the AC being noisy/dusty when I first moved in but that was fixed quickly once I let Simon know. Overall, I liked it and would stay here again.

This was a super convenient and easy stay. I found the building quiet and secure. The bed was very comfortable. The unit had every amenity one would need including a nice steam washer/dryer, which was helpful to use. Parking on the street was free and readily available, a real bonus. Thank you very much!

La propreté du logement était assez bien, les murs devraient être repeint puisqu’ils présentent énormément de signe d’usure. Le sol n’était pas très propre et la salle de bain, également. Les deux thermopompes ont besoin de réparations, les moteurs de ventilateur sont usés et il y a un son dérangeant qui empêche de dormir. Elles doivent également être nettoyée, c’est criant. Pour le reste, nous sommes très heureux de notre location, le bâtiment est magnifique et le personnel très courtois.

We had a comfortable two days here while visiting family. It has most everything needed for light cooking (assembling, heating/reheating, etc.) and eating at home, but it's not a complete kitchen set up like you'd find in a home. The place was mostly clean to our standards when we arrived, but they could spend a little more time on finer details like getting the prior guest's hair off the bathroom floor, etc. As in most every guest space we stayed in over the last several years, there weren't any hooks or shelves for storing clothing and personal items in the bathroom. Overall, though, we were very pleased, and the location couldn't have been better for us.
I really felt at home in Simon's space. Have stayed with him before and my daughter used to live in the building. I love the gym and the ease of getting around - lots of good restaurants just a short walk away. Plus the area is so beautiful - if you stay here, be sure to get out and walk around!
Good amenities at a reasonable price. However, there was hair on the towels and bedding, and condom wrappers in the nightstand drawers. The dog park was full of dog poop, so I had to walk my dog several blocks to find the nearest place for her to potty.
Really nicely furnished lofted apartment, complete kitchen and bath. Great floor to ceiling windows with natural light. Heats up well even with the vaulted ceiling. Good location, I chose it for the proximity to my family's place, but it's close to an L station and many bus routes into the city. Wi-fi works well.

Great, but a few issues... Positive: The building was clean. The place was clean. I live the location. Negative: I usually love staying here, but a few issues need to be addressed. Our arbnb, the couch had a circle stain, and we were not comfortable sitting on the couch. Next, we ran out of water the last day of our stay. The vending machines don't work. It's full of beverages but no access to any if you are thirsty anytime. The pool table in the lounge is broken, and the sticks need to be replaced. It would be nice if there were tvs in the bedroom. Because it was not comfortable watching with the stain on the couch in the living room.

This location was excellent! Simon responded to any questions I had, but I didn’t even really have any due to his clear communication throughout the whole process. Parking wasn’t horrible and I was always able to find a parking spot within a block of the location. The apartment was clean, bright, and welcoming.

It was a great experience! Just be weary of the metal stairs going to the loft! They are metal and my guest did accidentally cut his heal with slippers on. Overall it was a great location and would go again!
