I stayed here for a solo getaway and had a blast! There was plenty to do in walking distance and super close to transit. I loved the history in the building and the gorgeous architecture around. I would definetely stay here again!
We were very happy with our stay. Positive: Love the location, the building and the apartment. Solutes are a favorite of our when staying in Philadelphia. Negative: The thermostats can be a little hard to regulate.

The rental is in the old Public Ledger building. \nAs someone who travels to the City just to check out our old historical buildings, this was such a treat to be able to stay here. \nThe signers walk (Signers of the Declaration of Independence) is on the sidewalk outside of the building. \nYou are right across the street from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. \nIt is a very walkable location with Restaurants and old historical buildings very close to you. \nThe walls down the hallway had the floor plans of the building and I thought that was a fantastic touch. \nNext door was the Curtis building, which I also went in, to take pictures and admire. \nI had the most memorable trip to Philadelphia to date. \nOn New Year's Day, I walked to St. Augustine Church, which used to be in Independence Square. \nThe church houses the sister of the Liberty Bell. \nI saw the Liberty Bell and the Sister of the Liberty Bell in the same day. \nI feel very blessed that I was able to stay here.
The location was great and the studio was just like the pictures. Simon was very responsive and answered all my questions before I moved in. It was a bit loud, but that was expected and didn’t affect my sleep. There was a small cleanliness issue when I arrived, but I messaged Simon and he sorted it out quickly. Everything else was great.
A great place to stay in the center of it all for a lone traveler or couple. Has everything you need in a pretty apartment in a beautiful and historic building. Can't beat the location as it is walkable to everything. Try Madis next door for coffee--a really lovely place!
Positive: Overall, it was a nice little place, and if it wasn't for these issues, I would stay there again, but there was at least one issue that ensures I will not. By priority, first, It was super loud all night both nights, there is all sorts of routine maintenance for various buildings being done in the street right outside the window, trucks loading and unloading, idling, containers being slammed or items dropped and clanging, and then there are church bells on the hour through the night. They provide a white noise machine and some earplugs, but they were laughable against the onslaught of noise. Second. There was no toilet paper anywhere in the entire suite, which I discovered in the middle of the night. Tide pods, water bottles, snack pretzels, but no toilet paper. Third, and more nitpicky, the silverware drawer was built into a cabinet that blocks its opening more than a couple inches unless you drag it across the other cabinet while pulling sideways.

Great place to stay! It was great to be right in the heart of the city and close enough to walk to some great attractions, restaurants and transportation.
It was nice to stay in old city Philly for a change. I believe the location is cute, more greenery, and a lovely Madis cafe right across but the downside is the WaWa next door, an attraction for the wrong kind of crowd. The building although historical is fairly run down but the unit is very good value for money as far as center city Philly is concerned. SoSuite always sets up their units in a minimalistic stylish way.

It’s tough to find a better location in Philadelphia - you’re a stone’s throw away from Independence Hall and the liberty bell. The room is spacious, clear, has everything you need for a short stay and is a breeze to get to. Happy to stay here again.
Right in the center of the historic district. Very walkable with pharmacies and grocery stores nearby. Also right by several main bus stops which made the location even more accessible. The space itself was clean, kitchen had all of base necessities for cooking, and it was a nice touch that they stocked enough toiletries for a longer stay. Highly recommend for a month-long+ stay.
I requested an early check-in with Simon but ended up getting a late check in due to the place not being ready. A little disappointed because it was last minute and it affected my travel plans. He did extend our check out time but I didn’t really need that. Additionally, the apartment’s insulation may have been lackluster because we put the heat to 80F all night but it still felt cold, around 68-70F.

The apartment is very clean, well laid out, and the location is excellent. Check-in was easy and there is a parking garage next door. We stayed here for two nights but the noise during the first night was bothersome (although the white noise machine helped mask some of it). But the second night was nice and quiet. The first night was a Wednesday night which I would have thought would have been quiet. Nevertheless, I have no qualms about staying at this apartment again. Everything else was excellent.

You are right in the heart of historic Philly. Independence hall will greet you each morning with a bell and the Liberty bell is right outside your door. Very walkable and a Wawa attached to the building. The studio is quaint and easy to access. Looks exactly like the pictures while you can easily adjust the temperature in the unit; heat works great- but a tad drafty at times. I think it's not unreasonable given how historic the building is and the 20+ ft ceilings. The bathroom was very clean and there was plenty of room and towels. The kitchen was stocked with essentials and plenty of cleaning products as well as water,coffee,tea and light snacks for a nice touch. The bed was comfy but I wish there had been extra blankets available. Decorated well and functional. Glad we chose to book since it worked out great for everything we wanted to see
We loved having Tramelle as a guest at Sosuite. Easy to communicate with, we were super happy to host Tramelle.

The apartment is excellent. Very well equipped and great location, in front of the independence hall. There is some noise you can hear from the neighbors, but nothing that compromises the privacy or the sleep. It is a very good option for a short stay in Philly and I will return in the future.
My husband and I had a really good time staying here and using it as a walkable home base to explore Philadelphia. The room has lots of thoughtful amenities and was very clean. We chose to self park in a nearby parking garage. Would definitely stay here again!

The room I got was better than the photo and was a loft with a spiral staircase. The check-in was easy and the room was great for a one night stay. At night it’s easy to pass by the entrance but look for the Wawa. The building was nice, definitely shows its age a bit but overall great. Only feedback would be the bathroom. It was clean, very large but the hospital lighting and grey walls with all white made me feel I was in a sterile operating room.
This is a perfect studio for a lone traveler or a couple. Great location next to historic landmarks and green spaces, particularly Washington Square. The building is lovely, clean and decorated well. Would stay here again anytime!

Make more research before booking next time Positive: Location is good, apartment cleanliness is good except of the bed and sheets that had food smell and had to buy Lysol disinfectant spray to eliminate odors on the bed at midnight hrs. Bed had some dark dots as well. Noisy early mornings from a nearby warehouse kept me awake from early mornings. HVAC system always cold even if adjusted to heat. Had to pay $250.00 as a security deposit as well, Negative: New bed sheets and covers stamped by the date it was cleaned. Lysol disinfectant sprays. voice proof windows.

Loved Philly and the location of the lodging! Would book again Positive: I had a "disabled room". Access to stove washer with built in dryer was great! as was dishwasher!. All in all would recommend. Loved area of Philly! Negative: There could have been a bit more comfortable seating in the downstairs area as there was only the around the table hard chairs and the bed available. There was nothing for watching TV at night in a more comfortable area. Not enough electrical outlets if you wanted to work or access internet would have been helpful.

Central location and clean. Strange, inconsistent noises from exposed pipes in the room at night was the only downside.
Disappointing. Positive: A fabulous building. The tenants were nice. The staff were nice. Negative: The only window had a broken blind which could not go up. Although this was reported at once, it remained broken for the three day stay. Nobody came to even look at it. This made all the time in the room depressing, especially considering the beautiful view that we could have been experiencing.

I'm originally from Philadelphia, but have since moved out of state. I couldn't believe that I was staying at a property this close to Independence Mall. The unit itself was wonderful inside, very spacious, clean, and had nice amenities. The location allows you to sightsee, find good restaurants, and enjoy the nightlife. This is my new go-to spot when I visit the city.

Fantastic stay, short or long. The location adds ultimate convenience for having nearly everything one would need just a walk away. The kitchen comes in handy if you don't want to eat out everyday. I was recovering from an injury during my stay, so the accessible bathroom came in handy. I highly recommend!

Amazing place to stay. It was very clean, and the location is awesome-literally across the street from Independence Park and its a very walkable area to tons of restaurants, museums, and other sites. Something to note for light sleepers-being downtown you will hear some street noise. That's to be expected given the location and thankfully a noise machine with a usb plug is provided, which helped a lot. The bed is super comfy. I slept well!

Literally right across from independence hall with two beautiful parks and both sides of the block. A million and one restaurants to eat and extremely easy to access the freeway to go where ever you need. Loved my stay!

My stay at the Ledger was wonderful. Having never been to Philly I was surprised how great the location was. A stone throw from the Liberty bell, beautiful parks and history was amazing for my first stay. Simon and his team were exceptionally responsive, the room was clean and attractive. Big fan all around. Having said that, I drove into Philly and Parking was rough - I suggest using the valet service if you drove!

Così così... Positive: La posizione sicuramente buona, esattamente accanto alla Liberty Bell e al quartiere storico. Negative: 1. La struttura è sporca, trascurata e lasciata al suo destino 2. L'appartamento era ok ma il secondo giorno abbiamo trovato una blatta che camminava in camera. Segnalato subito il problema, tutto quello che è stato fatto è stato di posizionare delle mini trappole per insetti nella stanza. In bagno c'era anche qualche capello lungo qui e lì. 3. Non si dorme. Rumori della strada esterna, c'è una rimessa di camioncini proprio sotto la finestra che cominciano a passare dalle 4 del mattino. I vetri sono sottili e gli infissi vecchi e per nulla isolanti. Inoltre le stanze non sono minimamente insonorizzate nemmeno all'interno e si sente ogni singolo rumore di passi o persone. 4. Al check out abbiamo chiesto gentilmente di chiamare un taxi ma la risposta è stata di chiamarlo da noi direttamente in strada dietro l'angolo.

I really enjoyed my stay! The noise machine was a very nice touch to drown out the local traffic, trains, and sometimes neighbors. Bed was super comfortable. Really appreciated the personal touches of snacks and walking into calming music n playing on the TV. Wonderful location and very walkable to everything! Just be mindful that Uber doesn’t like the address for some reason and you will need to adjust it to ensure it’s the right pick up/drop off spot.

Negative: The sink had nowhere to put my things - no surfaces in the bathroom at all. No fan either. The bed was springy and every time my partner moved it woke me up. The whole apartment seemed set up backwards, with the bed in the lower level and a living room upstairs. I would have rather had a couch downstairs to sit on. The next door neighbor had loud music, but since they seemed to be regular residents we didn’t think we could do much about it.

I had a great time! Thank you! Positive: The property has incredible architecture and history. I found myself admiring the intricate details on both the inside and outside of the building. Negative: The proximity to the Wawa could draw what some see as “bad elements” to the area, putting those who are unaccustomed to seeing the less desirable parts of living in a large city at unease. However, I had no problems and at no point did I personally feel unsafe.
Positive: The building, location, Jaylon and front desk staff are great. Negative: The automated, text service from SoSuite leave room for improvement. The requests we made for a mattress cover, coffee pot and schedule flexibility were only met if we took care of it ourselves.

Loved the location. Positive: I wasn't aware breakfast was provided. Negative: The check in process was terrible. The desk worker was in over his head. I was never told or shown the price per night/ total for the stay. No thermostat in the room to adjust the temperature. The comforter on the bed was too heavy (warm), no other blankets were found in the suite. Noise from the hallway and other rooms was excessive.

Très bel hôtel idéalement situé Positive: Nous avions réservé 2 hébergements : le loft et une aitres chambre. Le loft est incroyable avec tous les équipements possiblement : lave-linge avec des pastilles de lessives. Hyper pratique. Idem pour le café, lave-vaisselle.. on peut cuisiner (four, plaques vitro..grand frigo) tout avait l air neuf. L hôtel est idéalement situé, à 3 mn à pied des visites guidées. Il y a possibilité de faire des courses au magasin Giant à quelques minutes à pied. On y trouve beaucoup de fruits et de légumes, et de bonnes salades prêtes à être dégustées. Negative: Le canapé-lit est une horreur. Impossible de dormir avec les barres du sommier qui vous rentrent dans le dos. Nous avons trouvé une combine : mettre les éléments d’assise et de dossier du canapé sous le matelas et compléter avec des oreillers au niveau des pieds. Mais au regard du standing de l hôtel, c est inadmissible.
