For 1 night it was adequate. But I'll never stay there again when I have to go back Positive: Great location Negative: Pricing. Parking was outrageous. Room was way too small. Tv was a joke. Mounted weirdly on the wall no cable or satellite. Had to find other ways to watch the game.

It did the job, but absolutely wasn't worth the money and I'd never stay again. I needed a pet-friendly overnight. It was that, but it was also dirty and not the best kept. The bathroom wasn't as clean as I expect. There was hair on the walls and floor when we came in. There was also hair on the "clean" towels. The walls were dirty and there were parts of the drywall that were messed up or missing. The elevators were exceedingly slow and hard to catch on a busy weekend morning. The location was nice, but a man standing outside the building threatened to kill my dogs as I walked by him to go inside (small dogs that weren't even walking towards him) and then came after me into the building when I responded to him. Otherwise felt safe, but didn't seem worth the money when I could get a hotel for the same price and guarantee it'd be nicer.

Les petites attentions : bouteilles d'eau, pretels, boules caisses. Pouvoir laisser les bagages à la conciergerie. Negative: La traduction de booking en français est erronée : le studio est bien plus petit que 27m2. Pas de chaises et de table pour le repas : dommage d'avoir une si belle cuisine et pas d'endroit pour se poser. Le matelas est mou.

Nice hotel. Positive: The hotel is nice, the location is great. The room was clean and modern. I didnt hear any noise from the neighbors contrary to what i read in the comments. Negative: The only thing is that they dont give you the wifi code right away i had to go back to the lobby to get it (there are no phone in the room to call reception).

Location, location, location. Gorgeous building! I stayed here during the coldest time of the year and still was able to walk to the surrounding amenities, that’s how centrally this place is situated! The host was willing to offer me other dates to stay as my plans have changed and my reservation was non refundable.

The value for the location next to Independence Hall was excellent! Positive: The location and communication with the rental property and staff. Negative: It was cold, the temperature never changed to get warmer when adjusted. Furnishings could have been more comfortable, such as add a chair and decor for a warmer feeling. Neighbor slammed door all night and had multiple dogs barking.

If you’re a couple in the area visiting, this couldn’t be a better placed location for sight-seeing! Space was clean and staff was friendly.

Typically, Philly is not my favorite place to visit based on a few visits over the years, but this visit sure turned that around. The building itself is so cool and the location is unbeatable. Easy to get around, quiet in the evenings (in my opinion), room was as described and loved that they took dogs. Valet was great and you don’t need your car really when there so definitely take advantage. Definitely will be returning!

Enjoyed my stay in the Old City area. Positive: Location was great! Very walkable and the coffee shop next store came in handy. Negative: Room was smaller than expected, but I was a solo traveler and it did the job.

Positive: It is a historic building, right in the heart of the historic district. Large windows are cool (only if they have been properly sound proofed). Rooms are clean, but additional cleaning during the stay is provided at a cost. Negative: The district is very noisy - the poor/no sound proofing of the windows, lets all the outside noise in the room. The property provides earplugs and white-noise device, but if the noise is a factor for you - you should have something in mind. The doors are also poorly insulated - you can hear what is going on in the corridor and the nearby rooms.

I spent one night, by myself. When I entered the room, there was a very strong bleach smell mixed with stinky toilet smell. With the windows shut in such a small space, it was very uncomfortable to sit. Naturally, I opened the window. Yes, it is an old building, with old windows - and the window got stuck, so I could not close it. I had to contact the support team of the host. They were incredibly helpful, but it took a while for them to come and help. Basically, it was a very stressful start for me, in a stinky small room that cost me over $300, where there is no surface to put anything other than luggage rack and the window sills (which explains the coffee cup stains), there is no place to sit other than the bed, there is no privacy if you are traveling with another person, because the bed is right next to the bathroom, etc. So, if you are considering this place, I would recommend that you stay in a nice hotel, because the room is not bigger than a hotel room and just not worth it.

Great place to stay in an excellent location! The host was very responsive, and it felt more like a hotel than an airbnb (super easy check-in / check-out). I’d highly recommend especially for business travel.

This place was perfect for a quick one night stay. Location was wonderful and easy to locate with the directions provided. One down side was having to wait for the room to be ready once we arrived after check in time (about 10 min.). The unit and the building itself was very clean. I would definitely stay again in the same unit or another unit within the building.

Great location, very clean room, valet service was awesome! Overall, the stay was excellent and I would return. Highly recommend! Check in/out super easy. The recreation room is pretty cool, too. Some helpful tips for future renters: the entrance to the building is on 6th street. I highly recommend the valet service as overnight parking in other garages is similar in price, without the walking. Bring an extra blanket, as the comforter on the bed is like paper thin. Request extra towels since the shower curtain is short and the water leaks behind the toilet.

Incredible stay! The bed was firmer than my fiancé and I personally preferred, but everything else like cleanliness, friendly staff, gorgeous environment, high-quality and plentiful amenities, and more, far exceeded our already high expectations! This stay has for sure made forever guests out of us and it meant a lot to have a place to dependably and comfortably come back to during my stay, especially since I came into town to see my grandma as she passed away and to start grieving with my family, and will definitely stay here again in the future.

Avoid the Ledger Residences by Sosuite - Old City Positive: Common areas Negative: My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a three-day stay in Philadelphia. And, although it was on the pricier side, we chose a studio at the Ledger Residences for its prime location in Old Town. Booking.com referred to the studio using various terms, including "Luxury Studio," "Standard Studio," and "Micro Studio," which added to the confusion. The studio itself consisted of a single room with an attached bathroom and a small kitchenette. The furniture was minimal: a queen bed, one bedside table, and a small table just large enough to hold a coffee pot. Notably, there was no desk or table suitable for meals, no couch, and no chairs. Adding to our disappointment, we found two packages of disposable earplugs on the bedside table. We eventually concluded that they were likely intended for guests to block out noise from neighboring rooms—likely a more economical solution than proper soundproofing. The marble walls in the hallways further amplified noise, making loud conversations and other sounds even more disruptive. Given the lack of amenities and excessive noise, we considered checking out early. However, per the policy, no refunds were allowed for the remainder of the reservation, leaving us stuck with the stay despite the subpar experience.

Very good overall. You can hear street noise and the elevators were not very clean. Other very good experience very easy check in.

Positive: i found this property via Bookings.com; I misunderstood the facility that i was agreeing to; the picture should be reviewed for accurratcy. the room was clean and well stocked. Negative: i feel that it was over priced for the size of the room even taking into account the location to the liberty bell.

Such a cute charming loft. It’s small, but had everything we needed.

Negative: The furniture arrangement wasn’t thought through - bin placed in wardrobe area under hanging rod - not a good idea. Room felt rather small than it was, but we didn’t stay long so it was fine.

extremely clean, front desk employee was amazing, while this unit was a little more higher priced than some other for the smaller size the location can't be beat so that makes it more than worth it. You walk to any attraction or catch a tour bus (or city transport) less than a block away. the WaWa around the corner super convenient to grab a snack for your room

It was an effficient room in a great location. I would be back Positive: We did not get breakfast as we were there the night before surgery. The location was excellent. Negative: The parking situation was not clear/very easy. There was a parking garage right next to the building. I could see it from my room, however I didn't park there because I didn't know about it. I parked several blocks away. I did specifically ask the people working the door about parking close and directions. They didn't give very good directions and sent me to 8th and Walnut. That was a pain, and very challenging to deal with in the morning at 5 am, when I was taking my child to the hospital.

Fantastic location for seeing the historic center and highlights of Philadelphia. Our room was clean and well stocked with linens and supplies. Simon was very responsive to my questions. As some other reviewers have commented, it is very small, and there was nowhere to sit other than the bed. That is the only reason for a less than 5-star review. Great place for a tourist home base. Highly recommend!

Convenient location, easy to access, loud but this is expected for location, host responds quickly to messages.

This was super convenient being right across from Independence hall! And having Wawa at the corner for snacks and quickie breakfast food. There is one nice Italian restaurant right across the street too.

Overall we had a great time at Sosuite. The space had all of the necessities of a weekend trip and was ideally located directly in the historic section of downtown Philly. We were able to park in the garage one street over and had zero issues with checking in or out. The space was quite small, however that is to be expected in a studio in downtown Philly, just be aware if you need more space, you will want a larger listing. Additionally, there was an odd/old water smell coming from the bathroom when we arrived, however I believe that the bathroom had simply been closed up for a long time before our arrival and just needed to be opened up. The smell disappeared by day two.

This place is literally right in front of Independence Hall! The area is just gorgeous with everything you need within walking distance. I booked this place wanting it to be away from Center City since Center City is just way to overcrowded. So if you definitely want to be in the heart of the city, but a bit less crowded this is the right place for you!
