My family and I came to Philly for a funeral. This place felt like home spacious downstairs with a full kitchen and bathroom downstairs. Large windows to let the beautiful sunlight in. The three bedrooms were upstairs with another full bathroom. Washer and dryer. I will definitely use this place again. Thank you for the excellent communication as well.

I have nothing to complain about the unit. Beds were comfortable and clean. Host was very responsive to my questions. The only thing I didn't love was the parking situation, but we managed. The next door neighbors to the right (facing the door from the hallway) were doing something late into the night. They woke me up several times at 3, 4 in the AM. At some point, it was so loud I thought someone was trying to break in my room.
Amazing management, pretty clean and spacious apartment
We gave it 3 stars because there were a few issues during our stay. We were a party of four but only two bath towels were in the suite. When we contacted the host, we were told the staff had already left for the day and they could not deliver any towels until after 11am the next day. We had to go and purchase a set of towels because we had an event early next morning. The key fob was also not provided for our entire stay as advertised which we needed to get into the building and to access the rooftop. The unit does have a washer/dryer but be sure to bring your own detergent as none was provided.
The check-in process was easy, and the property was in a good location. Unfortunately, the overall condition and amenities did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price we paid for our stay. The living room furniture, including the couch and chair, was visibly dirty, and the floors did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned. There were also stains and marks running down some of the walls that could use attention. The property is advertised to accommodate six guests, but the kitchen was not adequately stocked for that number of people. For example, there were only three coffee mugs and not enough cups, wine glasses, dishes, and other basic kitchenware for six guests. The bathroom supplies were also very limited. We were provided only one washcloth and one bath towel per person for an extended

DO NOT BOOK this place and waste your money. When we arrived late at night, the place was never cleaned. Luckily you can text the host and they accommodated with another room that night but had to switch back to our original room which was a HUGE issue because we ended finding out more issues after cleaned. 1. All the ACs upstairs made a loud noise that you cannot go to sleep with. This was a big problem as it was in the middle of a heat wave in Philadelphia and we had small children so we ended up not being able to sleep at all 2. The dryer did not work at all. Called maintenance and never was fixed 3. The bathroom door downstairs never was able to be locked completely and called again the host which they never got fixed. PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not book this place.
The AirBnb was as described online. It was easy to check in and out.

Positive: Location was good for me because it was near my family that lives there. Negative: The picture they show in the ad is misleading.The furniture in the family room was disgusting. We refused to sit on it which left us with only one options. That was to spend our time that we were in the unit separately in our bedrooms. When I notified them about the furniture, thier solution was to send someone with a bottle of Resolve to try to clean it. That wasn't the answer. The furniture needs to be professionally cleaned and sanitized. I know because I am certified in furniture cleaning. Also there were long red hairs everywhere. On the lamps, bed and in the shower.
Great stay at Sosuite At West Lofts! The place was very comfortable, clean and excellent location!
Cool Historical bldg, fun stay -no parking. Positive: I loved the historical bldg, comfy beds and full kitchen. WiFi was “the best of the trip” around the northeast. The oldest kids enjoyed the gym facilities and game room. A/C worked great. Showers stayed warm. Negative: NOT ADA ACCESSIBLE -this wasn’t disclosed. There are stairs to get into bldg and into the bedrooms (all up 1.5 flights of steep metal stairs) This basically ruined my leg muscles for walking in the city later. I have a neuromuscular disease. Parking is crazy. You have to illegally park like everyone else and pray no one gets a boot/ticket. There is no parking. Believe the listing. You must find street parking. They should turn the sidewalk “schoolyard” area into parking for a fee or build a garage there. Not able to do laundry as you had to have a card and the machine to read credit cards wasn’t connected to WiFi. So I had to take my sweaty and dirty laundry and pods, etc in a garbage bag to the next hotel to do there. I would not consider the closest fast food places to be in a safe area at all. We door dashed twice. This apartment is in a gentrified area.

It's always a great time at Sosuite. Its a home outside your home. The team is very proactive and responsive to make each stay a time to remember. I recommend Sosuite to anyone looking to visit Philly. We will definitely visit again.
Photos make it look way nicer than it actually is. The place is not as high end as it seems to be. But, knowing the prices around, it’s actually not bad at all, if you want to stay somewhere close to downtown-ish area for cheap-ish (relative to other available AirBnBs) price. The layout of the building reminded me of dorms at my uni.
My stay at West Lofts in Philadelphia was very disappointing. After traveling 13 hours from Atlanta, I arrived just before my 4:00 PM check-in only to receive a message at 3:41 PM saying the unit wouldn’t be ready until 5:30 PM. When I was finally able to enter the unit 451 around 5:35 PM, the problems continued. The apartment smelled strongly of cigarettes and weed, which made the space very unpleasant. The couch, chair, and other furniture were visibly dirty, making it feel unsanitary and uncomfortable to even sit down. The shower had very low water pressure, the dryer didn’t properly dry clothes, and the parking that was mentioned was not actually available. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Between the delayed check-in, lack of cleanliness, broken amenities, and misleading information about parking, this stay was far from what was advertised. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here to anyone.
This Airbnb was a truly enjoyable stay — spacious, stylish, and very comfortable for both relaxing and hosting guests. The host was incredibly accommodating, responsive, and thoughtful, always quick to answer questions and make sure we had what we needed, which made the experience feel welcoming and stress-free. While the checkout timing felt a bit tight, the care and communication from the host more than made up for it. The building is beautiful and very photogenic, and the loft’s high ceilings and open layout give it a warm industrial charm. Parking was a little tricky due to snowy weather, and the large windows made the space colder at times, but these were small tradeoffs for such a unique stay. Overall, it’s a memorable place with a great host, and I would happily return

The place is just as pictured, very cool and comfortable. We enjoyed the building, including the nice lobby and fitness area. \n\nSimon was highly responsive. As one example, one of the A/C-heat units was missing a remote and he made sure it was replaced very quickly. \n\nWe found the pillows on the beds really uncomfortable, but otherwise no complaints.

A lovely stay. The unit was large, clean, and exactly what we needed. Excellent dog friendly space! Finding the dog run wasn't easy, as the building is so large. But all in all a wonderful stay. Very quiet, close to the train, and easy walking distance to some great cafes etc. Street parking was sometimes hard to find in the evenings, but still workable. Would definitely stay again!
The place was fantastic. The key fob was not delivered to us on the first day, and it took several days to get it to us despite promising it the next. Would have been 5 stars if we got the fob.
We had an amazing 8-week stay at Sosuite! The apartment was comfortable and well-equipped, and the facilities were fantastic. The location was perfect, close to UPenn but still quiet. I really felt at home here, and if I come back to Philly, I’ll definitely stay at Sosuite again!

The air-conditioning of two bedrooms did not work for both nights. We put it at lowest possible setting but were sweating the entire night. One of the bathroom was missing body soap. No foot towels were provided.

Great place- walkable to UPenn. Decent restaurants nearby as well. The place was airy and clean - albeit the shower was not really powerful. The A/C vents seemed a little dusty. But all in all a very clean and enjoyable experience
Enjoyed our stay. There were only enough towels for each guest to have one and didn’t receive any additional. There were no extra blankets to use to curl up on the couch for movie night. We loved the feel of it. Very spacious and open.

This was the dirtiest Airbnb I have ever stayed at. After arriving, we noticed that the floors were filthy: dog hair everywhere, food crumbs, dust and dirt in every corner, a piece of sausage under the dining table (!), and human hair on the bathroom floor and in the shower. It honestly did not feel like they had cleaned the floors at all after the lasts guests (or the ones before…). There were also stains on the furniture and bedding. I reached out to SoSuite, who were quick to respond and promised to send a crew to fix it. However, it took over 24h (and several reminders on my part) for anyone to show up. They begrudgingly sort of cleaned some of the floors, which helped, but even after that the property failed to meet basics cleanliness standards. Would never stay here again!

Positive: - The location and size of loft worked well for our family. - The beds were comfy, and the bed linens were clean and crisp. - It’s an urban area, but the loft is pretty quiet. Negative: - Biggest issue was the fob for building door. There is only one. It didn’t work. And the door staff isn’t always there. Plus they aren’t very keen on SoSuite guests. The majority of the building is residential apartments. - The upholstered furniture has seen better days. It’s stained and threadbare. - There were three bathrooms but only one hair dryer and bath mat. Felt light on basic amenities for such a big space. There is a very weird smell in the hallways.

Es zona es estudiantil, no podría darle una excelente calificación ya que tiene algunos detalles los cuales espero sirvan como mejora más que como crítica, hace falta darle mantenimiento a los aires acondicionados ya que 2 de ellos hacen demasiado ruido, y en mi caso me afectaba ya que trabajaba 12 horas durante la noche y era difícil dormir con ese ruido. Más que nada eso y un poquito de más atención ya que se le pidió un mechudo para mantener limpio el baño dijo que lo conseguiría y al final nos mandó a comprarlo, algo que no me pareció ya que era un bien para su casa. Pero en general no está mal la casa. Quizá un poco más de utensilios de cocina y nada más.

Oh man, so many things went wrong it was laughable, and SoSuite’s response was so so disappointing. The building is cool, no doubt, but this management company is pretty incompetent. Our apartment wasn’t cleaned when we arrived, we had to move apartments twice, they accidentally shared someone else’s personal check in information with us, and the communications are all fakey terrible corporate politeness. Not to mention that heat didn’t really work, the furniture was all cheap and crappy, and the walls were all beat up from the many suitcases that have been banged around the place. I do not recommend this place, and I will never book with SoSuite ever again.

Simon’s place was very comfortable for my kids and I. Very spacious, my kids loved having their own space. It was very quiet.! When I closed the door to my room, I barely heard noises from outside/neighbors. The only thing that I did not like was the parking, but I made it work. I will be staying here again..!! Thanks for letting me stay at the WestLoft. I enjoyed my stay, I came late afternoon tired after an 8 uur flight and having coffee, bottles of water and snacks ready was a nice welcoming. Simon is very kind, he and his team are very helpful and attentive. I had a 3 bedroom, 3 bedroom apartment with big windows in the living room, beautiful space, nice warm and cozy. I’ll definitely stay at the Westloft next I visit Philly again. Hodan
The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained.
Was very comfortable and was nice that our granddaughter could have her service dog.
Simon is quick with responses. He helped me throughout my entire trip from New Year’s Eve to two weeks into the new year. He is friendly and he help me every way possible.
My kids and I spent 10 days at Simon’s place, and it was literally life changing. I met so many incredible people in this building—from front desk employees to residents. We literally became so close that I bought Christmas presents for them before we left. That level of connection is an experience Simon doesn’t advertise, but it made the stay worth every single penny. Plenty of local delivery options, safe/secure building, and an incredible selection of books in the lounge. My only heads up is the building isn’t very accessibility friendly from the front; lugging 12 bags up the front steps was a challenge the first night, but by checkout Cook let me use the dolly and loading the car from the back entrance was a breeze. After traveling across the world and coming home for the first time in 3 years, I feel so blessed to have stayed at SoSuites. Walkable to the train, too. If parking, just know the spaces directly around the bldg perimeter are free but across the street is 2hr max.
We experienced medical problems and were not able to complete our stay. Simon was very accommodating and respectful of our situation. He was extremely fair in his treatment of us and I would certainly rent from him in the future. Thank you Simon.
Everything was great comfortable beds and great communication. The only downfall is the parking especially if you come in the evening It's hard to find parking.

Great location in West Philly: The loft was nice super, comfy beds and easy to get to. Building amenities are fantastic with gym and public meeting area with library, workspace etc. loved the kuerig, with coffee, tea, creamer and olive oil which gets you started for cooking. Easy to communicate with Simon, proactive host! Great stay in West Philly.
Simon was very responsive and prompt. I had small kids with me and didn’t like the fact there were no TV’s in the bedrooms. The parking was horrible. The airbnb was clean just a little smaller than what i imagined but all and all it was close to the places I needed.
We loved having Sara as a guest in our suite. Easy to communicate with, we were super happy to host Sara.
Communication was awesome, and the team was very reponsive. The unit was relatively clean and there where some very thoughtful touches to make our stay convenient. The downside is that the place had a smell, cheap finishes and was not that well maintained. The shower had very little pressure, the toilet was not seated to the floor securely, the shower curtain was short so water leaked out. The place needs to be painted. All in all it was a good value for our short stay but I would be reluctant to stay there longer.
We had a great experience staying here! Everything was as described. We really enjoyed the common area with our kids.

We enjoyed our stay at Sosuite! Tete at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The gym and common area were clean and welcoming. The unit looks exactly as pictured and felt cozy like a vacation home. The kitchen was clean and equipped for home cooking and dining in. Living room was simple and minimalist. The beds in the rooms were comfy and clean and everyone had a good amount of personal space. The A/C wall units were a bit noisy which caused issues with sleeping for all parties. The bathrooms: 1st floor bathroom was a good size and clean and the 2nd bathroom was smaller and clean. The only issue I ran into with both bathrooms is that the water pressure for the shower was low. Other than that, my family enjoyed coming home to Sosuite after long days of lacrosse and touring. Parking was really the only issue during our stay.

Do NOT stay here. Heed the warnings from the other reviews. The place was filthy (hair all over the place, grime on the walls, pubes on the bathroom floor, very dusty that you had to walk around with shoes on, pots/pans not cleaned properly), there’s no WiFi on the second floor where all the bedrooms are, we couldn’t check-in until late on Fri because cleaners were still working on the unit, and the host would fake promise to remedy the situation but never have anyone come to fix it (eg he communicated that a cleaner would be in the next day, followed by no action, and would repeat the same line of communication the following day). It was so bad we had to leave the unit early. Do not stay here.
We’ve stayed at SoSuite 4 times. And will again in the future. Simon is an EXCELLENT host.
Airbnb was great! This is not the host fault but the building itself could use someone to walk around and clean. Twice we saw dog poop and urine near the elevators. Other than that , the actual unit we have zero complaints about. Host was very responsive and the unit itself we have no complaints. Parking was a bit of a struggle but from what I learned, that’s typical in Philly.
if i could give this zero stars i would. spent 2 days finding another airbnb to escape to. keyfob didn’t work to get in the building, no pots and pans to cook with, FILTHY, broken glass and dust, fake fingernails from a previous guest, broken faucet. absolutely zero stars, bait and switch. do not fall for the photos like i did.
Terrible experience. Positive: Convenient location. Negative: Sosuite sent me a LAST MINUTE (1.5 hrs before check in) email that check in is delayed because the suite was not cleaned. Since we were already in town, we were forced to wait an 1.5 hours before we could check in. Once checked in, the suite was STILL dirty. Sosuite could not re-clean until the next morning; we slept in a dirty room our first night. Sosuite didn’t refund anything. We will never stay with sosuite again and will stick to traditional hotels. Also, sosuite handles everything remotely, the apartment staff will not help you with any issues.
