Amazing place, close to everything, Amazing building amenities... Definitely the place to stay in west philadelphia.
Pros-The place was beautiful and the neighborhood was peaceful Come-bathroom was dirty, parking was challenging and a lot of traffic in and out of the building.

The 3 bedroom place was very nice and certainly bigger than 1 person needed. The people at the front desk were wonderful and helpful. The location was convenient for me to see my family. My objection was there was poor lightening on the stairs going up to the loft space. Also, all the accessories shown in the photos advertising the place were removed. So there were no throw pillows in the sofa to make it comfy.
Our stay at the West Lofts was great. Very easy check-in and everything was clean and as expected. The tenant next to our rental was loud, but after contacting Sosuite they took care of the situation. They were very responsive.
It was a nice trip from home at home lol. It was just far enough and discreet enough to feel like I was out the way, but just local and centralized enough to feel like I didn’t leave my responsibilities behind.
We enjoyed our stay.

The stay was amazing! We went to Philly for the World Cup. The West Lofts staff were the best! They were so welcoming and helped us find so many local events that made our stay memorable.
The price for this rental had been dropped significantly over the course of the month that I had been looking at Airbnbs in the Philly area. It was a good value at the price we paid.
Great place to stay - be ready to hunt for parking but that's just how things are in this area. Nothing against this place in particular

This Airbnb was extremely disappointing and clearly not cleaned prior to our arrival. The showers were dirty, there was visible dust and crumbs throughout the kitchen and living room areas, and the overall condition made it seem like the property had not been cleaned at all between guests. To make matters worse, we even saw a bug crawl across the kitchen table, which was unacceptable and raised serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. The walls were stained and dirty, the beds were uncomfortable, and one of the beds squeaked loudly with even the slightest movement, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. Cleanliness and basic comfort should be expected when booking an Airbnb, and this property failed on both. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this property to others.
Everything was pretty good. We rented two rooms, one of which had a faint smell of cigarette smoke, which is never fun. Also if you don't pay close attention at check out, the rental company that posts this apartment listing (Sosuite) requires that you log in to a second portal to check-in, which I am never a fan of, but might not bother others.

Highly recommended Positive: It truly felt like a home away from home. The space was comfortable for our family of five, and having separate bedrooms gave us the privacy we needed. The kitchen was equipped with all the essentials, which was a nice touch, and the building’s security was definitely a plus. There were also amenities nearby, which made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable for the whole family.
I liked the place and it was private and quiet. Looked like the photos! Simon was super helpful and responsive! There was one small thing like some ants in the kitchen but over all I had a good stay and am happy with Simon’s place.
This was a very convenient location in the heart of West Philly. There were some mild issues with regulating the temperature in the unit, but I would definitely book there again.

Great public areas for pool, and ping pong. And nice selection of books for reading. Really clean gym area. Very cool historical building with cool art throughout. We had a great stay.
Would recommend friends and family to book Simon’s Loft. It was very cozy and homely. Nice and safe location from what we experienced. Club house was right in front of the Loft to enjoy the amenities that come with the unit. Extremely close to New Jersey and extremely close to downtown Philly. A little warm for our liking inside the unit but the fun me and my family shared trumps that minor mishap. Thank you for having us, we had a great time!

The place was exactly as described and matched the pictures in the posting.We were in town to show our son the U of Penn campus, so the location was ideal. I particularly liked the diversity of the area with many different types of great restaurants in the area
Good place to land for a trip to Philly. Plenty of room in this unit for 4 adults, 1 kid, and two dogs. Walking distance to great restaurants and parks. Interesting to see how they converted the high school into living space!

It was a really cool place, but there was hair in the bed sheets.
I enjoyed the stay! I liked the space and the host was very responsive! There were 2 things that could be better. The first is that there was not always hot water because they have an outdated system. The second is that some pictures did not represent the Airbnb such as snacks and rooftop access.

I recently stayed here with mixed experiences. Pros: -The living space itself is spacious with plenty of seating. The style of the place is unique and has great potential. -The check-in and check-out process was seamless and easy. -The main bathroom was a good size. Cons: -Unfortunately, the cleanliness didn’t meet my expectations. There were Cheerios and crumbs on the floor, and the counters and backsplash needed to be wiped down. -The furniture/appliances were worn, showing signs of use and age. -The heater was loud and ran often to keep the space warm. -One of the bedrooms had an en suite that was almost unusable due to the size, this same room was so small that luggage had to be kept in the living space. -Noise from neighbors was very loud at times. -One evening, we had an issue with condensation dripping from pipes near the ceiling onto the bed and the floor. -There were not many restaurants or places to eat nearby, and no parking available close to the property.
This place was great for our group. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. One bedroom is up a staircase in a loft area. Because the building was a public high school, the other 2 don't have windows, but they are well-lit and well ventilated so not too claustrophobic. The upside of that is that it was nice and quiet for sleeping. Some of the furniture was a little worn but clean and comfortable, and we rearranged the lamps for more lighting in the living room, but we were all happy there. There is a Roku TV that was a little confusing (I'm old) and if I go back I'll bring my own Roku and try to connect it. We tried connecting a computer but it didn't work. Overall we were very happy with our stay at Simon's and would definitely go back again.
Very Basic budget accomodation. Aircon/heating sytem far too noisy, to stay warm it had to run constantly, it prevented tv viewing and being comfortable, which was not acceptable. Neighbours could be heard clearly all round and the waste water pipes from upstairs were noisy in the bedroom. Not at all a restfull place to sleep. Bed linen was very poor quality, bath towels were ok and water was hot. Not enough crockery for number of guests, kitchen equipment poor, although repacement coffee maker was supplied promptly on request. Only 4 chairs not six as pictured, decor not as shown. The decor and furniture needs desperate updateing. No close parking. Within walking distance were trains & buses for city & Food shops. Staff at front of building very freindly and helpful, the building was quirky and different, would be suited to a very specific type not everyones ideal place to stay. Its more suited to young adults and prospective students as its closs to Univercity campus.

Sosuite was a fun stay near UPenn in a converted high school. The loft was great! The two inner rooms had no windows so they were a little weird to stay in but not too bad! (they had a table fan available for ventilation). The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen had all the utensils and amenities. There was a common laundry room but where you gotta pay $5 for a rechargeable card and then top it up with whatever amount you like. $5 is good for one load of washing and drying. There were no tide pods available inside the house though. All in all, great stay!

We loved our stay here! The only complaint is parking. I know it’s a busy city, but it made the stay just a bit difficult. The loft is perfect though. We took advantage of the pool table in the lounge and gym, and the small dog park was very handy. If we had an issue or problem , all we had to do was text and it was taken care of! All in all, I would stay here again. The building is beautiful!

Simon’s residence was as described, it also was nice with the loft style upstairs area. Although a note that I’m 6’0” /183cm tall and I would just barely pass under the beam that is near the foot of the bed. Otherwise the towels and linens were very clean and the bathroom was wonderful. Bedrooms were clean and shared area was lovely too!

I booked this place right after having to leave a really terrible airbnb where it was dusty , dingy and felt unsafe and then I got this place not only was it exactly as described the building and it’s staff was extremely helpful the apartment was perfect for my girls trip for 4 women we were able to live comfortably in the space which was clean , pictures was very accurate of the space we were getting so I will recommend this place over and over to anyone staying in Philly it was also easy to get from this place with Ubers that was short and affordable rides to City center

Great location & building. We have fam w/in a mile, so big plus; Septa is close, walkable area, great family owned restaurants. Space is designed for 6 people to stay. Photo shows 6 chairs at the dining table but there were only 4. We asked for the 2 more and got 1. Since 2 fam members live local & could drop by for dinner, the 6 chairs had been a main point in our choice of apt. Big common room in facility was very nice. Cleanliness- okay. Linens were good. Initially supplied with only 1 bath towel each; requested more (staying 6 nights) & they sent 3 next day. TV was fine, comfort of space good. Had H2O dripping from ceiling pipe in 2 bdrms; next day someone looked at it. Were offered to move to a loft but it would split our party which we declined. We would live with drips. Not sure they did anything but I think it was probably condensation, bcs weather changed & it stopped dripping. Overall, would probably stay again.

Beautiful architecture, conveniently located close to the universities, lots of great restaurants around. We played lots of ping-pong and pool games in the beautiful lobby. Simon was very proactive and helpful, promptly responded to any questions we had. Thank you!

I was very excited to stay at Sosuite at West Lofts I went to o high school there and the building is beautifully renovated. I ljj I bed the amenities. The apartment itself was great we were very comfortable and the deck was nice the host was very responsive to our needs and concerns. I have stayed at a few Airbnb’s and Simon and the team at Sosuite were the best with communication I wish all Airbnb’s would communicate like they did. I would definitely go back again. There was one con to the stay and that was the kitchen is lacking in supplies there were not many pots and pans no corkscrew for opening wine bottles, and a few other items that I thought the kitchen should have. We made it work so no big deal but I wanted to make mention in case you want to do some cooking you may want to bring some cooking tools with you.
I really enjoyed my little break at SoSuite, it felt like I was at home and the cherry blossom trees were a plus !
Simon's apartment was as listed, and had all we needed to feel comfortable during our stay in Philly.

Simon was very responsive, helpful, and friendly but I would not stay in this place again. The place was not well equipped (kitchen was really lacking — don’t plan on cooking easily there) and the tub didn’t drain in the bathroom. For the cost (quite high over Christmas), it was pretty disappointing. If you aren’t planning on cooking, this place would probably be okay for you.
Cute apartment with reasonable price point at the right place. Just parking was a challenge. The host Simon was really nice to talk with and so helpful. All of us had a great experience here.

Had a great time visiting the city. Located near everything we needed, as well as some good restaurants. Amenities were great, and the building is very unique. Definitely worth a visit.
We had a good time at West Lofts and would definitely consider going back. It was nice to stay in a building with mostly full-time residents around (with their dogs, all those dogs, lol). It made the vibe homier. -GOOD LAYOUT. We had friends stay with us and it was nice to be together but have good separation at bedtime. -CONVENIENT LOCATION. Lots of restaurant choices nearby. We were able to walk pretty much everywhere we needed to go. We didn't have a car but our friends had no problems parking. Area felt safe enough - GREAT SERVICE from SOSUITE. Responsive host from beginning to end. Coat hooks by the front door would have been really useful (we were there during a drenching rain). Also would have been nice to have enough supplies for 6 people for the 3 bedroom units (e.g. coffee pods, more mugs, extra towels, etc.) We didn't take advantage of the lounge but it was nice to see other folks enjoying the space.

The location is great but unfortunately the unit we arrived to was used and dirty. The staff found me another unit that was also unclean, shower curtain stained and disgusting. To make matters worse, we were locked out of the unit at 11pm as a result of their unorganization. I am paying close to $10k to stay in this unit for several weeks and hopefully my experience will get better!
The airbnb looks exactly like the photos and is in a great location. 5 stars.
Enjoyed it and would come back to the facility again Positive: Close to all amenities and while away from the university of Pennsylvania, still walking distance to it. Many eating joints/cafes around. Negative: Not sufficient natural light in all rooms.
We had a very pleasant stay. The staff of the building is very kind and really helpful. There are no window in any bedroom but the apartment is big and has a great equipment.
It was a wonderful stay at the loft, the host was very responsive and quickly helped us when needed Negative: There wasn’t anyone at the front desk when I arrived so I had to wait for someone to go in to retrieve the FOB. Overall it was a good experience

This location was interesting. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The amenities and apartment itself were great. We did see a few bugs and the bathroom in the room wasn’t as clean as we’d like it, but overall nice stay.
