It was a nice place to stay for a couple days pros was it was a bar and restaurant right downstairs already didn’t have to go anywhere con was they really didn’t have bowls and small wash towels that I need it Simon was great at responding quickly and I love that about the service. I will visit again 10 out of a 10. Super spacious made me feel right at home. also, it he very patient

A bit frustrating at the start interacting with them and getting timely but AI-generated and inflexible replies to our inquiries. The complex often smelled like marijuana (and that often came in through the vents to our apartment), and when we arrived one of the beds had sheets with bloodstains on them which needed to be replaced. At first the host wanted to wait to replace them the next day…but when we didn’t feel comfortable with that they were able to find new sheets fairly quickly (which we had to replace ourselves). Otherwise a comfortable place and decent location, a bit strange that there were big holes from both bedrooms to the living room meaning no sound insulation inside the apartment. Overall despite the drawbacks and frustrations it was decent value for the comfort compared to other places in the vicinity.

Spacious apartment, close walking distance to Chinatown restaurants. The rooms were clean and the kitchen and common area was nice, however there was a lot of miscommunication on whether a crib and high chair were going to be provided which caused us an inconvenience. There was also no comforter on one of the beds.
Beds and linens very comfortable, the place was really clean. Nice to have some bottled water and pretzels left out for us. The kitchen needs some attention. There is no toaster, no cutting board, no wine glasses, and just one pot. The floors are all tile, and would benefit from some carpets underfoot for warmth. The heating system is incredibly loud, but does the job.
Simon was extremely responsive and helpful for a last minute booking. The unit looked like the photos, it was beautiful spacious, and most importantly clean! You do hear any noise that goes on in the hallways, however. If staying in the winter, be advised that the hallways are cold and the elevator takes a while, so you’ll want to throw a hoodie on even if you’re just quickly going downstairs to pickup food or something. Theres a super convenient vending machine in the lobby that had an array of drinks and snacks and the attached restaurant had great food and service! Not the nicest area but also not the worst, we still felt safe in the building. Overall I’d definitely book this unit again!

This stay was beautiful felt like a family room in a hotel which was really nice. The restaurant/bar downstairs made meal planning really easy. If I had any complaints its that certain amenities were not in the room before I arrived. However, once I stopped at the front desk they were very quickly corrected and I would book a stay with Sosuite again

I first want to say that Simon was very kind and responsive and maybe this review has more to do with my expectations than the unit itself. To be fair to Simon we did not voice any of these concerns to him while in the unit as we were only there for two nights and nothing could’ve been done for the complaints that I have during that time. The building smells like weed smoke and febreeze but the unit did not. For the money and from the pictures we had much higher expectations. Not from the area but the photos gave the impression of a nice newer apartment building and this felt like a very cheap renovation. The location of the unit is good very easy drive to everything in the city. Paid parking felt safe and was easy to access. The unit was not “bad” but we would pay more to be somewhere nicer next time.

A great place to stay. My first time booking a BNB and it was a seamless process. Me and my company all enjoyed our stay, and talked about how we would love to come back again some time in the future. Very pleased! 10/10
I love the place I would recommend to most people that want a real philly style home away from home. Positive: It was spacious and neat and really worth the value. The staff was accommodating, it was also quiet which is big for me. Even the staff at the adjacent pub style restaurant were awesome. Negative: Water pressure is really low and it takes a while to get hot water.

Negative: I was told by the facility that they put in a request with you guys to order me a refund got the room. There were roaches in my room I was not comfortable or satisfied with my stay.

Clean, spacious, and reasonably priced apartments in a less than desirable neighborhood Positive: I like how clean and updated the space was. I also enjoyed the in unit washer and dryer and the large space. Negative: The location seemed to be in a not nice area.
Great place, good location. Parking was a bit tight during tourist season. Very clean rooms with everything you would need and awesome air conditioning given the heat wave. Small caveat is that there is almost no sound proofing in the rooms. The rooms are converted from industrial building so there is no windows in the bedrooms, so there are large holes above the doors for safety reasons. It didn’t really mattered for us, but if you are a light sleeper with loud roommates, bring earplugs.
This is second property that I have stayed at by Simon. He is always so accommodating and personable. The properties are also very well maintained and beautifully decorated with great on site amenities. Definitely will be staying another one of his properties whenever I come to Philadelphia. Thanks Simon you’re truly the best.

Simon was extremely responsive and friendly. There were a few hiccups with extending my stay by a day, but they were immediately resolved. The place was super clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Overall I'd say there were a lot of minor annoying details like too many different places to dig through to find information, but Simon was great and the apartment itself was exactly as expected.

The other one the master bedroom the shower water didn’t go down fast, once we walked in it smelled like cigarettes and the kitchen above the stove was not working. The sofa was a futon and it needs some throw pillows to make it more comfortable Building was cold hallway and elevators

I had a genuinely a Good Time from walking in the front door with security that put my mind at ease. Walking into the front door from the front to the windows everything was clean including the bathrooms with supplies and extra. The restaurant on the ground floor is amazing I ate there 3X and the chicken spot on the corner food was on point.. I Definitely will recommend anyone I know visiting Philly to check out Simon🏁

This place is a diamond in the rough! When we arrived to the area my traveling companion was upset/nervous about the neighborhood. There are abandoned buildings and tons of graffiti surrounding the property. On checkin (and throughout our stay) the front desk couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The building is indeed safe and secure. The location is a good 15-20 minute walk to Terminal Market but we enjoyed the walk each day and felt 100% safe. The room itself was clean and beautifully decorated. We had plenty of towels, coffee, hot showers and the beds were comfortable! Our host Simon reached out to see if we needed anything, we requested a hairdryer and he had one sent over that day. There is a great restaurant/craft bar attached to the property where we enjoyed a fun and tasty happy hour. They also have drinks to go! Across the street is a small bodega that was convenient for some staples. While this residence is not in the heart of city center it’s definitely worth the stay!
Very comfortable and plenty of room. Nice beds. The people at the front desk were great. Neighborhood is a little sketch but some good restaurants on the adjacent street. If you are going to the convention center, I recommend walking down 12th rather than 11th. Just a nicer experience.

Space was very accurate. Would just bring house slippers or shoes to walk in the home. But Simon was very responsive and helpful. The location can be a little difficult if your party is arriving in separate vehicles. If you can find parking you are golden! Overall, very good experience.

Easy check-in, great views, comfortable beds, and overall pretty clean. Location isn't the safest to be out and about at night but that's expected for most areas in Philly. On-site parking was expensive but worth it considering the area. Best part was probably the bar/restaurant on its first floor: best chicken sandwich and strawberry lavender cocktail I've had.
The place is as described Check in was easy Found street parking so didn't need to use discount Couch had a few crumbs on it and a slight tear but I was assured that I would not be held responsible. It's a dope place overall.

Simon’s place is a fabulous bohemian adventure. Even the dishes are beautiful. Plus, parking! You’ll be happy you came.
The staff working the building were all great save for one Karen style employee hell bent on profiling every dark face that entered. The hidden deposit felt very unfairly and unclearly delivered. Paying a significant amount for the room itself makes an extra 250 dollar charge feel both distrusting and classist, redlining the property for those with expendable income rather than simply those who can afford the rate. Moreso, with that price reaching 555 dollars for an evening stay one would expect exemplary service and stay and the stay was simply sub par. This is not a recommendable rental, the price gauging met with average room level stay does not add up.

Great Stay!! We had an amazing getaway. The views and the loft feel was very welcoming. There are a few cute restaurants walking distance. We loved that parking was connected to the building. We had one minor issue that the landlord was able to fix right away.
Would stay again The location was ok. A few blocks away the neighborhood wasn’t so great. The property it self could have been cleaner. I had a few different people knock at my door throughout the night. Overall it was ok and would stay again overnight not long term
The place looks exactly like the pictures except for one thing - there are large window-like holes about the doors of both bedrooms, which means you can hear everything and there is very little privacy.

Unit is in a central location, quick ride share to anywhere downtown, and the apartment has nice appliances and modern accents. Furniture is adequate, not very comfy, and the neighbors are very loud. Music blasting, yelling and laughing, marijuana smell wafting in from the hallway, any night of the week.
Loved it here! The main attraction was the huge windows with a beautiful view of the city. Nice for a couple get away.
Simon’s place was a great stay and very affordable. The space is stylish and has a nice vantage point of north Philadelphia from the huge window in the kitchen. Our stay wasn’t perfect though—floors were dirty, bedroom sheets didn’t appear clean, most sinks were missing hand soap, and the reception staff and guests were frequently seen not wearing masks.
This place is exactly as described! The location is perfect by being in close enough to downtown / the highways and to others areas of Philadelphia. The free parking spot is also a plus. This is the second time I’ve stayed in one of Simon’s properties and I fully enjoyed my stay. Thanks again to Simon and his team for making my Philly trip amazing. My only comment is that above each bedroom door there is a square cut out so even when you shut the door you can hear into the other room. Don’t speak to loudly or make too much noise!
