Great place to stay—had everything we needed and was next to several cute places to eat.
Place was absolutely beautiful, views from the window were nice at sunset and sunrise. I had trouble with the door of our airbnb because the battery to the door was locked. They do have a feature on your phone to unlock it through there in case of this, but during the time my phone died, so make sure your phone is charged lol. Overall everything was what i expected. There was an issue with our check in time, but they were able to accommodate us! Great place to stay, would definitely stay again!

The location of the apartment is great, situated in a nice, quiet neighborhood with a subway and bus stop within a 10-minute walk. Communication with the host was great, and the check-in/out instructions were clear and easy to follow. The weather during our stay was warm and humid, but the air conditioning worked wonderfully. The kitchen was fully equipped and the bed mattresses were good. In general, our stay in Philadelphia was pleasant.

Great vibe
Had a quick Philly trip with my oldest child, our first time in Philly together and this airbnb eas the perfect location to the areas we visited (City Center, Fishtown) This condo had a nice vibe, beautiful architecture with high ceilings and large/unique windows. I enjoyed the views and had a nice backdrop for a 7am meeting. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a place to stay that accommodated our group while visiting Philadelphia for the Roots Picnic. Positive: The staff was very friendly and attentive. Negative: The unit was advertised as a “penthouse “. It was not that. They can stand to freshen up the paint, furniture and appliances. Everything was a little dingy and dated.
Onsite parking was huge for us but that is where the perks really end -There was a shooting at the building that woke us up at night. Later found out there were 5 victims and one death. -Floor was filthy our feet were black within minutes -visible Mold and smell in the washing machine -Bathroom smelled of sewer gas, ceiling was dripping water, tub didn’t hold water (tried to give kid a bath), toilet seat doesn’t fit right/doesn’t flush great -only one working elevator which resulted in me spending an hour trying to get things loaded in the car at check out. The parking is what saved this place and the location was good for what we came to Philly for but it did not seem like a safe area even before the shooting happened. I would not call this unit a Penthouse Suite it needs a ton of work to call it that. I did read all the mixed reviews on the place and we took the risk. I would not stay here again

Simon and his staff were very responsive to my needs and requests and were the most friendly. However, upon arrival to the unit, the cleaners may have skipped over a few things. Ie the floor needed to be mopped— very quickly did my socks become black from walking on the floor. The bed in the master bedroom had lent and hair on it. Also, I would suggest that it may be time replace the sofa. It’s very worn/sat on and has many, many big stains that made it uninviting to sit on. Lastly, the bathroom had a weird, nauseating smell— reminiscent of a public bathroom. Not sure what that was about. Very minor issues- but they did stand out to me. Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay at all. It’s a nice unit that gets lots of sunlight.
We had a safe and comfortable 3 nights stay at Simon’s place. What stood out for us was the simplicity of the place, its high ceiling making it more spacious and one of a kind. Since it is a condominium unit much like in every city, i am glad that we prepaid for the parking for the rest of our stay so I don’t have to worry about safety and accessibility. Only one thing I wished is having a small dog park within the property since walking our dog around the neighborhood was not the most pleasant thing for me-irresponsible dog owners do not pick up after their dog and trash is a common sight. Apparently the property’s dog park was closed that time. Thank you Simon for the opportunity in staying at your beautiful place. All the best!

Remember you get what you pay. It wasn’t unlivable but it was not super clean. Human hair on floors. Obvious long term toilet leak as the wood was wet and floors. Unidentified sticky stain in the floor. Maybe drink maybe some other funk. Couch is definitely used and wear and tear shows. Pros are: Price. Walkability to transit. Parking garage.
Decent location but area is a bit shady looking. Easy check in. Cool vending machine in lobby. Photos didn’t match the place. Comfortable bed. Couch was beat up and old looking. Wasn’t fully clean, hair in the sink, dusty, smell of mildew. Overall, decent stay.

Wonderful apt and building to stay in. Everything thing was well thought out and easy for you to figure out. Stunning high ceilings and beautiful big windows with a view of the neighborhood. Very clean and well maintained but I have to give 4/5 instead of a full 5 because of the terribly weak water pressure in the shower and sink. Made showering painfully slow and unsatisfying.
We had a great one night stay at this Airbnb and we loved all the amenities provided. We were able to get the pack and play as well as the highchair and it was laid out for us right there when we arrived. We absolutely loved it.

Went to Philly with a friend for a long weekend. This place is located on the edge of a lot of the sites and things to do so you can walk in to have fun while where you're staying is lowkey. It's a clean spacious place and it's cool that there's a workout area. I'd go back.
Worker well for a one night stay. Great price. The place needs a little bit of love (scuffed and patched walls - stand on the sofa). The beds are very firm. The check in was easy. Parking was great and the location worked well for our needs to be close to the Fillmore
I should start with I’m conflicted to write a poor review due to the fact that the host was very adamant about getting things situated and fixed, but nonetheless, there is a giant punched in hole in the wall right by the television, the toilet was running and extremely loud and also the kitchen faucet was busted. The host immediately sent somebody the next day to fix it, but it just feels a bit slighted when you’re paying full price for a space to be yours, and these things are happening in terms of location. The parking was way overpriced because by the time that I got home for meeting with friends on New Year’s Eve, there was no parking that I had already paid for it but again, this is probably an anomaly given when I stayed. The host was extremely courteous, even though I suspect it was an ai bot. The supplies offered for the kitchen were good. There was a washer and dryer it was a nice view. There were a lot of good parts of my stay. I just felt it was overpriced given the state of

Simon was great with communication before our arrival, but the stay itself was disappointing. The directions led us to a sketchy parking lot, and there were no clear instructions on how to get to the main entrance, so we had to ask around. Our first room looked like the photos but had a broken toilet. When I first called down, staff suggested I stay there and use a bathroom on the 3rd floor, which was inconvenient and not ideal since we paid for a functioning Airbnb. We were eventually moved to a bigger room on the 3rd floor, but it was not clean—showers were dirty, sinks had hair, and towels were stained. They offered to send the cleaning team the next day, but I was only staying one night, so it didn’t solve the problem. Paying over $300 for a room that was partly broken and unclean is unacceptable. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

A GREAT value for the money, you're getting way more SPACE than a regular hotel but comes at a cost. Positive: This option comes down to SPACE vs. the other option we were considering, The Courtyard at Marriott. For about the same amount of money, we got a much larger space, our own rooms and parking at the building [fee]. Negative: The downside to this option is that the furniture, specifically the couch in the main room was very dirty and you could see stains all over the couch from past stays. Overall it was fine but there are signs of cheap materials / furniture and the couch in the main room is on the small side. We were only 2 guys, me at 5'9" and my friend at 6'2" and we barely fit on the couch laying out without touching each other. The chair near the window was also covered with stains from past stays, it appears the deposit money wasn't used to clean / replace those pieces of furniture. I've never seen stained furniture at Marriott properties.

Not something I want when I'm drinking alcohol. Or ever honestly. Finally,the artwork on the wall in the apartment was stupid.

Positive: The view at one point before I was moved to another room Negative: The smell of the rooms , the dirty furniture, all the water stopped working in the middle of the my shower my fish died because I kept being moved around I can go on and on … they have no clue why the water not working

Our stay at Simon Place met our expectations. While I initially had some concerns about the neighborhood, it turned out to be perfectly fine. The restaurant located next to the lobby was excellent; we enjoyed it so much that we dined there twice during our stay. We also visited Café Lift, just a short 5-minute walk away, and had a great experience there as well. From the Air B & B, we were able to walk approximately 38 minutes to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and also downtown, where we caught the double-decker bus tour of the city. Overall, Simon Place provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we were very pleased with our experience.

The host was very responsive and thoughtful, providing clear instructions and even some local recommendations that made our trip even better. The neighborhood was quiet and convenient, with shops and restaurants nearby. We felt right at home and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!
Simon was super-responsive, and the place was just what we needed. Our situation was slightly different, we live in the nearby suburbs, but lost power during a heatwave, and needed an affordable (and calming!) place to stay. This apartment was near to work and restaurants, plus Simon was able to be flexible when the power came back sooner than we anticipated. Great find!
Lovely unit with gorgeous views! I adore this building and location and would return. In terms of service I do wish they were a bit more proactive. This was my second stay; the first one was great as there were no issues. For this booking, I had to do a lot of problem solving on my own with the assistance of Airbnb corporate for an issue. Took 4 hours to receive a resolution for something that could have taken minutes on-site. If you’re independent and run into an issue you’ll be fine.
We had a great stay at our Sosuite Independence loft. We were only a 10ish minute walk away from the convention center, and it was a straight shot, which was super convenient. The space was clean and mostly quiet, and the perfect size for two people. We used the oven to make pizza and had everything we needed to cook. Decor was very nice, furniture was lived-in but in a good, comfy way that made me feel at home. Easy entry, especially from the parking lot—very convenient to not have to walk around the building to bring bags in. Highly recommend paying for on-site parking. A very kind employee saw me struggling with my bags as we were packing up and immediately stopped to help me to my car, which was super appreciated! They were also very nice to let me keep my car in the lot after we checked out just for a little bit while I ran back up to the conference center. Overall, great stay and I definitely plan to book with Simon again.

Simon’s place was clean, comfortable and quiet. During our stay it was extremely hot and humid outside, so the well functioning air conditioning in the unit was greatly appreciated! The on-site gym was great. The unit had everything we needed.
Apartment was just as described. Very responsive host and answered all my questions. It was clean and comfortable.
The apartment building was easy to find and get in following the instructions. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows, large rooms. Host kindly provided coffee pods and a choice of teas for the K-pod coffeemaker. There's bar and restaurant downstairs, plus across the street Cafe Lift with delicious breakfast options. Walking distance to downtown (30 min walk to Independence Hall). The subway is a block away (8 min walk) from there. The host responded right away and was efficient in resolving our issue.

We had a great stay. The condo is easy to get to and is nice and secure in a building with a gated parking lot and key pad entry on the building and unit inside. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. The beds were comfortable, and the living area was large enough for our family of four and dog. Two slight issues are that the floor could have been cleaner, and there weren’t many sets of dish ware and utensils.

Fine stay in Philly Positive: Spacious, easy access, quiet, comfortable, location is good, pubs and breweries near by, little walk to the centre. Negative: The central air supply was loud and there was a scent added to the air, which was a bit much.....
Stayed here for two weeks and felt right at home. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for apartment-style living while visiting Philadelphia. Loved the gym, on-site parking, and pet-friendly amenities. Would stay again!
Spacious apartments Positive: It’s a very convenient place spacious and with all amenities. The neighborhood is fine and you need a short ride by car or the bus to reach downtown. Nice industrial decoration. I surely recommend it. Negative: There was some noise from the neighbors in the middle of the night.
Scammed out of $300. Forced us (the guests) to cancel reservation to avoid their own fees. Host claims they no longer have the ability to cancel reservations on their end. Host stated building couldn’t be entered due to an “incident.” Host told us reservation needed to be cancelled after 4pm, therefore dismissing our refund. Place was suspicious on top of it all.
We had a great stay. Was able to visit city and do a lot of sightseeing.
The location was perfect and anytime I needed help or had a question the owners were very quick to respond. The big wind Positive: The view was nice and it was right near the union transfer where my daughter was seeing a concert. Negative: Only small complaint I could have is the beds weren’t super comfortable but they weren’t that bad either, we made it work.
