Overall I might stay there if it were a different apartment. I am not impressed with that one Positive: We liked the location. I thought it was easy to get into the building. Negative: I did not like how unsafe and steep the stairs are to the bedrooms. The bathroom is not very clean. But the shower curtain is so high that it gets the whole floor wet. The beds are beyond uncomfortable and hard as a rock. We couldn’t get the air on kept changing to 80 degrees and so the bedrooms were super hot. Apartment for 6 people with 2 wash clothes. The couch is so disgusting and dirty with stains.

Condo in historic building next to Independence Mall, has spiral staircase and upstairs bedrooms Positive: Excellent location next to Independence Mall, close to everything. Plenty of street parking (limited to 2 or 3 hours) and nearby garages (staff recommended Bourse garage). Condo itself is located in the Ledger newspaper building with historic charm. Negative: The hotel should make this clear - the apartment has a spiral staircase leading to bedrooms, one of which has a very high step. In other words, not suitable for senior with mobility issues or very young child. Otherwise the condo is very nice and well decorated. It is downtown so there are homeless on the street, but fortunately there is also strong police presence so overall reasonably safe (always exercise caution).

Got a surprise links for additional check-in outside AIRBNB, strange and then added fees. Otherwise, we enjoyed the location, stayed on night. Friendly building staff and residents. Super pet friendly. Lots of dogs. Great! Was perfect for us. Check-in was fumbled a bit because the butterfly machine wasnt working. But a kind resident let us in and we waited for 5 minutes for staff person to return to the front check in area. Flexible checkin. Room was warm. Clean. Steps were precarious a bit, but otherwise ok. Noise levels were good until morning when people got up, some little bit thru the walls was heard but not bad. Doggy treats in lobby and beautiful building. Parking was expensive. 30$ at the nearest one for overnight, and others are more 35-45 for the night. But recommend that or their valet we didnt use but if you dont want the hassle probably worth the 40.

Last minute switch after previous host cancelled. I liked the gym. Beds were good. Converted office building means the bedrooms have no windows. Perfectly fine for one night.

We had a great stay here. This place is in a great location that's very close to the Liberty Bell and walkable to many other areas. The host was proactive and responsive. We were able to keep luggage in a secure storage area before our check in so we could park and explore the city. There is a parking garage within a few minutes walk that we kept our car at for the entire stay. The place had everything needed for a couple nights and felt very safe. We would stay again!

Nice place but uneven Positive: The room was clean and quiet. It is at Independence Hall area and convenient to everywhere I needed to go. Negative: This apartment is 2 floors and it is very difficult to get the temperature comfortable. If you are downstairs in the living room/kitchen and are comfortable then the upstairs bedroom is too hot and vice versa.

Great location for a three day visit to Philadelphia. Positive: Room was very clean. Staff was exceptional in helping with any problems. Negative: there was a large step getting into my bedroom room. This was awkward and dangerous. There were no windows in my bedroom.

A great place in the center of everything Positive: The location is excellent. The apartment was quiet and comfortable and in the center of everything. Loved having a kitchen and coffee maker. We didn't think the apartment was noisy at all, but we appreciated the thoughtful touches like white nose machine and ear plugs. The apartment was above and beyond expectations. We would absolutely stay again Loved the shower! Negative: The bedrooms are on a different floor from the bathroom, so that makes late night potty trips difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The apartment only has one window - none in the bedrooms We had an issue with the combo washer/dryer refusing to open to release our clothes but we were able to have someone come help us right away.

Great location. Simon was very quick to respond and took care of whatever we needed. If ever back, will definitely stay here again.

Great location and value was incredible. Positive: Location was superb. Accommodation was very spacious. Negative: Would have been better if there were mirrors in the bedrooms so you could get ready.

The location was great. I picked a place that included pets but after my booking I was told I had to pay a pet fee. Also, I chose this place because it had a kitchen and we don’t like to eat out as much, but the stove didn’t work and the host was responding but gave me no solutions. The dishwasher also didn’t work.

We enjoyed the central location, but the apartment was not very clean Positive: The location Negative: Unfortunately the apartment was not very clean and the dishwasher leaked. The system to book a spot in the car park was quite complicated. In the end, despite it let me book, it turned out that my car was too big so I got a refund and I had to find another solution only after I got there.

this place is perfect

The location was perfect. I took advantage of the valet parking which made the weekend easy and stress-free. The apartment was clean and the amenities were exactly as expected. With a lovely shower and pristine kitchen, we enjoyed the space and privacy the two comfortable bedrooms allowed. Greeters at desk were pleasant and helpful - check-in and check-out were effortless. The Wawa around the corner was an unexpected and welcome surprise for a late night snack and morning coffee. Great stay.

Great location but unit was in dire need of an update and loft stairs are not safe for elderly Positive: Location was great, right by the Liberty Bell. The beds were neatly made, bedsheets and towels were all nice and clean. Valet service was quite handy. Negative: The unit was somewhat run down and had rather scary loft staircase my elderly parents had difficulty navigating. The table was very wobbly (spilled some drinks), and one of the chairs felt like it would give out if my elderly father sat on it wrong. Quite a few homeless people in the area, some were clearly on drugs which was quite scary for my 14 y/o son to witness. I saw valet park a couple of cars by jumping the curb. Curb was somewhat low and the jump wasn't excessively fast but this kind of parking could do serious damage to low profile tires. Also, just plain weird : both loft bedrooms were fully enclosed. Nice I guess, if not for the fact that there were NO WINDOWS so no way without cell phone to have any idea what time it is. It felt like being in a cave or basement.

Simon was very helpful. The space was very comfortable and the location was perfect. Not more than a 20 min walk to anywhere. Only thing is that the stairs are a little steep. The people at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here again.

When I arrived at the residence there was a leak in the bathroom that did not stop and had to get moved to another unit. I then had waited a long period of time to receive a key for the unit I was moving to. I had originally booked the airbnb to use for my photo shoot which was an inconvenience due to the extra time I had to pay due to moving to a different unit. But overall nice aesthetic.

The location of Simon’s place could not be better!! Directly beside Independence Hall, it felt safe and near everything we came to Philadelphia to see. It did end up getting slightly chilly in the upstairs bedrooms, which we read in a previous review, so we brought our own comfy blankets and were cozy! Simon provided clear check-in and check-out instructions, and the front desk attendants were present and accommodating. The valet parking is well worth the price! The space was sparkling clean and came stocked with k-cup pods, sugar packets, individual creamer servings, and herbal tea. Olive oil and salt and pepper were provided for cooking, and pots and pans and aluminum foil were available to serve our breakfast making needs! Bring any other food items you deem essential! :) We would absolutely stay here again!!

Great location. Easy check in and front desk staff was very nice. Wawa on the corner and lots of restaurants near by. Can't beat being right in front of Independence Hall. Kids enjoyed the lounge area with pool table. Our only issue would be that there is only a under the window heater in the living room (central heat seemed not to be working) and the bedroom with two beds was cold. We did get extra blankets but something to be aware of.

The stay at Simon's place was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean and right in the middle of everything.

Jean promptly responded to queries regarding the unit, parking and early check in. When we arrived at the unit after the check in time, the unit was a total mess- dirty in the bathroom, kitchen, living room, carpets undone. We couldn't walk in the unit and had to sit on the floor outside the unit with kids. We started communicating with Jean through Airbnb and uploaded all the dirty pics of the unit. We then called SoSuite team regarding the dirty status of the unit. SoSuite agent was very responsive and understanding of the situation. While the agent was also surprised that the unit was not clean, they worked with us to provide an alternate arrangement at a different location. Sosuite director also called us, very supportive and understanding of the situation, apologized for the inconvenience, offered another unit with valet parking and provided a partial refund. The second unit was totally clean, safe location and easy to commute around. We deeply appreciate communication&support.

Great place to stay, clean and comfortable with nice amenities. Excellent location right across from Independence Hall and other walkable sights. Overall happy with the value compared with other similar options. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for a quick overnight with kids and dog. Two blocks from Washington Square which made it easy to get dog walks in. We were not there as tourists since we’re local, but a perfect spot for those who are interested in Philly history and landmarks. Will be our go to location for future visits.

Loved the location of the apartment. It was very convenient to walk to this historic tourist attractions. The valet was a plus with the apartment as we did not have to worry about finding a parking garage. Reception was very nice and even held our bags for us for the day even after we checked out. Overall would recommend to anyone. Just be careful on the stairs going to bedrooms.

Great space, perfect for a weekend staycation. The stairs and steps up into the bedroom were a little steep and a bit of a tripping hazard, but overall we enjoyed the space. Full kitchen was useful and the beds were comfortable. Had a great time and fit everybody!

Mixed review… great location and very clean. However, the walls are paper thin. Our family struggled to fall asleep even with the use of a sound machine. We could hear the neighbors as if they were in the room with us talking, running around, playing music, and dog barking. The king bed was fairly comfortable but the two queens were really hard. There is a nice community room with pool table and meeting rooms. The valet parking was a nice perk too (note that they don’t accept larger SUVs or trucks)… just wish we got a better night of sleep.

We were visiting Philly for the first time and weren’t sure what to expect about downtown but found Simon’s place that was right where we wanted to be. It was a great decision! Fit our family of 6 and had everything we needed to cook a meal. Walked to all the tourist sites which are literally right across the street. The valet parking was great. We didn’t want to do any driving in the city so we took Ubers which was perfect! This place was definitely a fantastic find!

This Airbnb was in the best location to tour Philly. The host was great and so was the building.

Positive: Location. Fantastic location right across the street from Liberty bell and other historical sites. Lots of room and price. Felt safe inside the building with the front desk person always there and door being locked when it got dark. Also very comfortable beds. Negative: The washer/dryer didn’t work on our stay but they were quick to respond.

The location was great. Central to many attractions. The space was very clean and larger than we expected. The building is very nice and the gym was a plus. The stairs are pretty steep so I would not recommend for people who are older or traveling with small children. It was a great space to stay.

This place was perfect for a quick family getaway in Philly. We valet parked our car at the air bnb and could very easily walk to all the attractions. Everything was very smooth- the place was very clean and they even held our bags so we could enjoy another couple hours. Highly recommend!!

Simon's place is really a good choice for stay at heart of Philly. the liberty bell is within 500ft literally. The valet parking service is a must-have option which is very convenient(only 35 per day for unlimited in-n-out). Strongly recommend!
