Simon’s place was perfect for me to come into the city and get back to the airport on time.

The area is very convenient to the heart of Philadelphia. Nice to have a restaurant on the property.

Perfect spot for an overnight to go to a show at Union Transfer. Some folks may not feel safe walking around at night but, it's a city. The apartment was clean. Decor does not match the photos, but it's not a big deal. The furniture is cheap and uncomfortable, but the beds were super comfy. Plenty of clean towels. Not enough silverware! We liked the restaurant downstairs. Overall, this place suited our needs and we would definitely stay again. Maybe not the best spot for a family.

Came to Philly for a concert and this place was perfect. Close to the subway and Center City. The beds were comfy and clean. We really enjoyed the separate website to control the door locks and being able to buy a parking pass.

Great stay! Would definitely only book with them again whenever I'm in the city.

Overall our stay was not bad after the arrival hiccup was taken care of. Check-in was at 4pm but room was not cleaned until 6:30pm. A message was sent at 2pm day of check-in on the Airbnb app and not seen until arrival. A call would’ve been best to communicate a room not ready. House keeping was rude about the lack of communication and closed the door in face of one of the guests when asking us to leave the room. Which we only happily communicated we would do. The front desk staff was wonderful though and apologetic, location is walkable to center city and things to do, and the apartment itself is nice. Just needed a scrub down.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. When we arrived, the front desk attendant was outside smoking and smelled strongly of Marijuana. The entire building had the same odor. The unit itself was not very clean. Privacy was also a major issue—the bottom pane of one bedroom door was see-through, and the high ceilings with open space above each bedroom door meant you could easily hear conversations from other rooms. The furniture did not match the listing photos. The check-in process was unnecessarily complicated, requiring us to complete everything through a separate website that wasn't easy to navigate. We were also annoyed by the requirement to pay either a $50 nonrefundable deposit or a $250 refundable security deposit, which was on hold for several days. MAKE SURE TO READ ALL ADDITIONAL INFORMATION to avoid confusion like we experienced. The parking lot wasn't the easiest to nagivate either. Overall, the stay was more complicated than we cared for and we wouldn't return.

Just as listed! Parking was an extra $25 at arrival but it was greatly appreciated and the fact that it was a gated parking area was nice.

Great, clean suite. The area around the suite is decent, kind of rough in some spots, but the restaurant that is located in the building is good.

the place was clean ish, safe, & fine for family to get together & visit before the event we were attending. here is the negatives This is a unit in an apartment building, The people who live there full time made it really clear they do not like Airbnb guest. Saying things to us as we came in & out of the building As soon as we landed we received a message saying that the water was going to be off the next day from 10am-4pm w/ no solution or any compensation. I had to ask to get some money back & they dropped off 3 small bottles of water so we could wash our hands There were extra steps not through Airbnb to finish making our reservation, like sending a picture of all the guest staying IDs, a deposit fee (which their portal didn't work and we had call in to get these taking care of) The space had no privacy, the walls to the bedrooms didn't reach the ceiling, so it was an open air flow The sheets & towels had stains. outlets didn't work if you stay here use app to communicate

My family and I had a great stay!!

My family and I had a great experience staying at SoSuite in Philadelphia. We were looking for a place close to Temple University and this turned out to be a great match (It was less than 10 minutes driving; you could walk too.)! Additionally, check-in was straightforward but we did get some assistance from the front desk. They were very friendly and helpful. It was good that we purchased the parking passes. If you are driving in Philly, it was difficult to find available parking on the street. The location was also walkable to a few decent restaurants and small (grocery) markets on the corner. The suite was clean, spacious, and looked exactly as the pictures displayed in the description. The beds were comfortable (very important) and they had darkening shades. There was outside noise in the mornings but, you are in a city, so that's expected. Communication by the SoSuite staff was excellent. No issues there, very responsive. We look forward to a future stay!

I thought the place was good for the price. The unit itself was nice and I am glad there was a gym and some amenities. I did not think the location was great, but for the price it wasn’t too far from better areas. There was a domestic incident in the room next to us that involved the police, and the host allowed us to switch rooms. The elevator took an insanely long time to come, to the point where I was worried about missing my uber even though I called the elevator a few mins in advance. I would stay here again because it is affordable option.

Overall, this is a great place! The online portal system for checking in and out is very convenient (the highlight overall for me)! The place itself is clean and welcoming. The beds are firm and pillows fluffy. The gated parking was nice to have as well, so we did not need to worry about street parking. The only downsides we noticed is you can hear quite a bit outside of the building, as well as within. Also, I assume the pipes are a bit old, as there was an odor from the bathroom sinks that would periodically pop up, although they would dissipate within a few minutes as well.

Simons was great for my girlfriend and I! The location was convenient to popular city excursions & the space was affordable. Our host was helpful & responsive, as well as the staff on site. There were however, a couple unexpected fees - parking was a learning experience & there is a choice upon check in to pay $50 non refundable fee for damages or a $250 deposit that could be refunded. We chose the $50 as we felt there was possible risk with the $250 deposit. Overall great stay .. thanks again, likely to return in the future!

Easy access and parking available on site.

This is my preferred location when visiting Philly, especially with multiple guests (or when I need an in-unit washer/dryer). You get excellent value and sit within walking distance of stations to the SEPTA B (Broad) and L (Market-Frankford) subway lines. Being where it is on Spring Garden street puts you a few blocks away from Del Rossi's, which serves one of the best cheesesteaks in the city.

The place is suitable for the stay of 3-4 people for a long term, and the private washer-dryer unit adds up to the convenience.

For the price and having safe space to rest it was ok. I wish it was cleaner. Not just looked clean on the photos. Yet we could get through the night safely and even got rest. Bedding was clean. Rest could get some improvement. Thank you for the safe space though.

We have been long term renters due to a fire and have enjoyed our time here. The staff is friendly and helpful. Simon and staff have been responsive and worked to resolve any issues we have had.

Washer dryer in unit was a big plus for a long work trip. The unit was not really as pictured - different furniture, not as new looking, walls were chipped all over. Floor was sticky. But the building was fine. Definitely safe. Responsive host. Clear instructions.

Great stay, and the area is convenient! Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance, including 2 breweries. 15 minute drive to Wells Fargo Center. Few good coffee spots close by. Cool bar with great food located right downstairs. As for the stay, the unit was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Check in/out was extremely easy, and the host was quick to confirm our reservation request and communicate. Looking forward to staying here again!

Pretty decent stay; an ironing board would have been nice, but not a big deal. The hallways in the building smelled like trash pretty noticeably; something about the way they manage garbage could be improved. Ordinarily wouldn’t blame this on the host; but sosuite seems to rent out the whole floor (10 or more units) so I feel this is something they should figure out, or be able to work with the building to improve.

The sign on the photo outside is not there. It was a tattered folded sign on the steps. It smelled like marijuana in the halls every day. The apartment apparently was not checked before we arrived. It needs simple home maintenance. The walls are dirty, there were missing lightbulbs; the bathtub stopper was broken. There was a big strip of tape on the kitchen table. If you want to stay in a frat house this is the place for you. The pictures are not totally correct. The sign outside the building is not as pictured. There is a torn tacky looking folded board sign on the steps.

The photos did not make the unit. Photo showed a ladder and large room, it was small with no ladder. Walls were scuffed, dirty, not well maintained. Bathroom and bedroom doors didn’t latch or stay shut. Again not well maintained Hot water gone after 2 showers in morning. Place says up to 4 so why does hot water not last past half the number of people. Simon was very responsive, but we were disappointed with quality of the place and overall value. Would not recommend place to others

Everything was great Safe, close to bunch of restaurants and breweries. Only complaint, the outside bathroom door didn’t close but have no doubt that after reading this, the mgmt will jump on it and fix it. No complaints otherwise.

Great place and a great value. We loved waking up to those gorgeous industrial windows. The location is very good and in close proximity to everything walking or ride share. I would recommend it highly!

Good facilities but wifi was awful and the neighborhood is not very pleasant. Negative: The man at the entrance desk was not very welcoming. Seems to be a security guard….

Frustrating had many issues to deal with in first few days then just gave up. Positive: Check in was easy. Sent all the codes needed and directions on how to access garage and apartment. Whenever I had an issue they were responsive and did what they could to help and accommodate. Restaurant on premise was very good. Negative: Dogs allowed in building and just bark. First room had 3 large dogs next to us that were so loud we had to move. Second room had one small yapper that never stopped all day long. Walls are thin you easily hear your neighbors. Place was not very clean. Staff missed many things when cleaning. Didn't supply new kitchen sponge only had last tenants used sponge, yogurt wrapper in shower, kitchen table very sticky. Kitchen stock was very poor. Rented two bedroom for 4 people and they didn't even have enough plates or cups for 4 people. Only supplied 1 towel per person no bath floor mats. Many light bulbs burnt out. Toilets were loose and rocked very badly. Many fixtures needed attention. Only gave 3 chairs for a 4 person dinning table. Sofa cushion was missing so could only sit 2 people in the living area. TV remote was missing. Bedroom doors were glass so no privacy. No bedside lamps only wall lights, outlets next to beds didn't work. Shower handle came off wall wasn't installed right. One of the toilet handles was broken had to be attached every flush. Refrigerator seal was broken so the refrigerator never stopped running. Neighborhood was not the best. We walked in a group but would not feel safe alone walking to subway. With a little effort the place could be great. The lack of attention to simple details unfortunately made it very frustrating. If you rent you need to go prepared with supplies and expect many maintenance issues. They moved us to the penthouse to try and make up for things and sent a maintenance crew to fix a few things but both units had many maintenance issues and lack of supplies. I spent my first few days dealing with issues and having to move rather than just enjoying my vacation and that was extremely frustrating. When asked for some kind of compensation they didn't even offer a full nights stay refund.

Beautiful stay! Parking was actually free on the streets near by and location was perfect for being in downtown Philadelphia. Well priced compared to others, and definitely looks like the nice pictures! Separate checkin process also needs to occur through the apartment’s website.

Very clean The property was very clean, however the furniture was a bit used. Dining table had tape on it, the middle table felt like it would fall apart. The dinnerware was minimal and it would have been nice to have a broom and or mop to leave the space crumb free.

Loved this loft. Safe/secure building with security and amazing large space that has wash and dryer. Will stay here again, next time I am in PHI.

Excellent stay. Positive: I loved that each room wasn't crammed with furniture. It was very spacious. I'll stay here again over a hotel anyday. Negative: I wish there were maps or some kind of visitor information in the lobby about the area.

Sucks, smells, don't go Negative: This property is in an "up and coming" location and feels pretty sketchy. Nonetheless, there were restaurants nearby and everyone lived through the experience. My real gripe was with the smell. The lobby smelled strongly of urine, to the point where we began calling the place the "piss hotel." It was almost overwhelming. Our floor, 3rd, had the same smell, but not as bad, mixed with pot smoke. Once in the room, the smell was gone, but the sheetrock was broken where the front door handle had hit it numerous times, the pleated paper privacy curtains were torn and generally, we felt like pieces of meat being processed. The woman at the front desk was nice, though.

Perfect location for events at Union Transfer with a great bar/restaurant in the building & other good food/drinks near by. Easy to find & has its own parking. The place was spacious enough for the 4 of us to relax when we weren’t out exploring the city.

This place was so big! And beautiful. I only stayed a night and didn’t spend much time in the room. We dropped off our stuff, went out came back went to bed and left but it was so cozy if time allowed it would have been a great place to relax with friends or have a quiet night in. Great for a long stay too with the washer and dryer and full kitchen. Simons check in instructions were very detailed, however I was in such a rush I didn’t read them well enough and of course my phone died when I arrived but the front desk woman was so helpful, friendly and took great care of us. We are planning on staying again our next Philly adventure.

A fee issues The property was comfortableenough, althoughwe encountereda few issues - The off street parking is good, although the gate was often left open. - For a non-smoking property, the cannabis and tobacco smell was everywhere in the hallways and through the vents - Two bulbs were out in the Superheros room - The desk in one of the rooms does not stay in place and is, therefore not suitable for working. - The neighborhood is not the best.

Expect the place to be an okay place. Some things were a bit worn. There was a table in my apt that was taped up. The desk in one of the rooms was about to break. The shower was that that clean, there were hairs still in the shower from I'mguessing the previous visitors. Again just an okay stay. Feel the rate didn't match the experience.

Thank you for the great stay! Clean and the building was super secure and cared for. The apartment was really comfortable and our host was v attentive. They even left somr dog treats, such a sweet touch. Will definitely stay here again :)

Great location, easy check-in, though parking is a bit tricky. The place is beautiful but definitely needed to be cleaned more. Floors needed to be swept and the bathrooms were not cleaned thoroughly. And there isn't a broom to clean up. Other than that the place is great, close to alot of great spots.

My experience was excellent. Communication with Simon was great. The directions provided by Simon were thorough, making it easy to access the suite. The suite was clean, and the neighborhood was nice. Overall, great value for your dollar. I would definitely return.

This place is amazing. The pictures don’t it justice. Simon is very responsive with any questions you might have. The beds are unbelievably comfortable and don’t get me started on the pillows. The bathrooms are amazing. AND THE VIEWS FROM THE BEDROOM!!! Do not second guess staying here. Stayed in another Airbnb the day before this one and this one made me feel like i was living that ceo life. They leave you snacks and coffee. A+++++

Great communication throughout our entire stay. We never felt lost or like we couldn’t immediately ask for assistance if needed. Great location and the fact that they offer parking was a massive plus. The unit itself is incredibly spacious, especially with the high ceilings. Living room furniture needs some upgrades- the coffee table and kitchen table were a bit wobbly and on their last leg. Cleaning could be a bit better prior to our check in. Otherwise we were overall very happy with our weekend stay.

SoSuites Independence Lofts The space is good; two couples stayed. This is a 2BR, 2 bath, with one being en suite. There were a few things that needed to be dealt with, and tgere was a prompt resoonse from property management. There appears to be ample parking; spaces are narrow, and there is not much of a driving lane. Currently, the building is difficult to identify, as there is outdoor seating for the restaurant in the street in front. (Look for the sign that says "The Institute.") There is a block of space cut out of the wall above each bedroom door (about two feet square). Both bedroom doors are clear glass, with no covering.

The place was really nice! Beds and pillows were comfortable. Only thing i can say is that we kept getting noise complaints even though our music wasn’t loud. And be sure to leave before check out time or they will charge you.

Weekend in the city! We rented this property last minute due to a "system glitch" with our original rental property and needed a place to stay. The unit was reasonably priced, clean and spacious, in a great location and the staff and host were easy to reach and very accommodating. The only addition feedback worth noting is that both bedrooms have glass panels in the door and maybe adding curtains would make the bedrooms a bit more private for multiple couples.

Excellent short stay This place was perfect for a short stay in Philly with my husband and daughter. Convenient walking/Lyft to lots of different neighborhoods. Bedrooms and main living area were spacious - beds so comfortable. And there is parking available on site!

Simon was great with communication. The place was very clean, beautiful, would highly recommend.

Stayed here with my significant other and another couple. Larger than we expected and very cute. The only issues that I can think of was that we were only provided 2 wash clothes and towels despite booking for 4 people, the light up word lamp couldn’t be plugged in with out one of our cellphone charging cube, and that the door with the code was a little glitchy. Great location to see all of what Philly has to offer.

Rude staff, unsafe conditions, false advertising Positive: Honestly nothing it was a complete misrepresentation of what it was made out to be I have nothing good to say. Negative: The staff was rude unwelcoming and lazy. That night I feel 2 times on the ice that covered the parking lot. They didn't have a place for parking after I paid $80 for 2 cars for 1.5 days. It was suppose to been a penthouse loft apartment and that it was not either of those thing on the 3rd floor when the building had 8 floors. I same a roach in the apartment I was in and it turned me off from ever doing it again
