My 2nd time staying here ! Very relax and lay back . Close to everything if u need to travel into the city or other areas. I just love it . It a bar and restaurant right down stairs on side of the building very convenient if you don't want to travel for food and drinks

As I’ve said before. SoSuites is a great place to stay. Close to everything you want to do. I mean after I arrived I found out the venue was only one block away lol. Always a great space!

My bed had stains and the apartment seemed clean, until you actually got up and close, I know I paid a decent price so I can’t complain too much but the apt needs a nice deep clean

My experience at Solusite in Philadelphia was disappointing. Unfortunately, the condition of the units provided did not meet my expectations for cleanliness, comfort, or maintenance. I initially contacted the host regarding several issues with Unit 902. The unit did not have any washcloths available, the iron was not working, the space appeared to be unclean, and I found dead bugs in the closet. Based on these conditions, it did not appear that the unit had been thoroughly cleaned prior to my arrival, which negatively impacted my stay. I reached out to Simon about these concerns and was moved to another unit. However, the replacement unit also had issues. The living room had only one window, the bedrooms did not have windows, and the view was of an alley area with air conditioning units. Overall, the space did not feel comfortable or inviting. I sent the following message to the host: “Hey Simon, is there another unit available? I have some issues with 902. There are no washcloths,

Great place overall! The only issue was getting in through the third-party app. I also didn’t like the extra $50 damage fee—it felt unnecessary since Airbnb already covers that. I’d definitely stay again, but only if they remove that fee from the app.

The location was perfect. Simmone communicated with us every step of the way. Check-in was very easy Simmone was an excellent host. Only one issue the elevators. Only one elevator was working and at times there was a extended wait for the elevator to come. The best part is the unit was on the second floor so we were able to use the stairs so it did not affect our stay at all.

My stay was quite lovely overall. The location was excellent, and everyone I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. I would definitely consider staying here again. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to a few inconveniences during my stay. There were two broken chairs in the unit, the Wi-Fi connection was occasionally spotty, and the building's water was shut off for part of a day. While these issues were inconvenient, they did not significantly detract from an otherwise enjoyable experience. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and would recommend this property to others looking for a great location and a pleasant atmosphere.

I enjoyed my stay. It was very nice.

My complaint was the cleanliness of 309.. The kitchen did not have the appropriate cleaning items for pots..I didn't enjoy cooking over someone's else's dirt. I bought a pan..the top of the refrigerator was filthy..the dining table was dirty, especially the bottom..the curtains were dirty in the family room..the bathroom, with the tub, toilet seat did not fit so when you sat you slipped off..the toilet paper holder fell off..there was no lining for the shower curtain and the curtain was too long..when you showered the water went all over the floor..the walk in shower had 1/2 a door so when you showered in there the water went all over the floor.. the best thing about 309 were the beds. They were very comfortable and the walk-in closets gave you plenty of room for luggage and clothes. The place has plenty of potential but needs lots of work.

Clearly, someone was smoking in this unit. We had to stay out of it for the majority of our stay because my child has asthma. I tried to work with the owner to rectify the problem and he sent someone in to use some chemical to get the smoke out. However, it did nothing, although he said it did, even though he never came to check out the smell. Also, we stayed during the heat wave and couldn’t use the air conditioning because the smell of smoke became worse. The owner followed up multiple times saying he would look into what he could do. It’s been a week and he still hasn’t proactively followed-up up to make this right. I’ve been waiting nearly a week to get a partial refund. I highly recommend another place. Wasn’t in a great part of town either. The floors will leave your feet black because they are so dirty. I highly recommend that you find another location if the smell of smoke from cigarettes is a problem for you. The furniture and air vents need to be replaced.

Positive: Great place. Very nice older building with a great redo. The bar/restaurant is excellent as well. It's not fine dining but it has a great beer list and all the bartenders were super cool. Really enjoyed my stay at this place Negative: The gym was a little crappy. It could use a makeover.

Never meet him in person but he's very nice..quickly respond to you and I..Me my self can say he's a great cool dude and thank you again for the peaceful stay. Simon yous alright with us. Very good host that's why I'm still here.

We loved having Sean as a guest in our suite. Easy to communicate with, we were super happy to host Sean.

Faulty toilet that didn’t flush and was unstable and shaky when used, chipped paint on the bathtub, stained couch, cigarette smell and mustiness throughout the unit, burn marks on the table. The four of us had to go in and out of the master room to share the en suite bathroom which severely impacted privacy. We were looking for an upscale two bathroom getaway for the weekend for two couples and were very disappointed with our experience.

I was really comfortable and enjoyed my stay. The unit and amenities were nice and were as described in the posting. Location was good, about a 15 minute walk to Chinatown or the Reading Terminal Market. There were also some restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

I had a great month-long stay at Independence Lofts. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything I needed. The Wi-Fi was excellent, which made it easy for me to get work done. Simon, the host, was very responsive and made the check-in process smooth and easy. The staff in the building were also super friendly and helpful. Having parking in the building was a huge plus. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re in Philly!

The location was great. The check in process was easy. However when we arrived there was an unbearable stench upon entering the unit. We were quickly moved to another unit. This second unit had very dirty floors. Our feet were black. The smell was still bad in this unit but more bearable. I would have liked more communication about what the actual cause of the rancid smell was. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The loft matched the pictures that were posted and was a decent distance away from good eats restaurants and center city attractions. It was also helpful having staff available to assist in the lobby and the customer service line helped us figure out how to get a parking pass easily and simply. The building and room were not as clean or as secure as I was hoping but good/okay for the price.

Overall, the place was in a good location. Close to the subway which took us all over the city. The bar next door has great food! However, I am disappointed in the stay. We lost power for a bit the first day we were there. We had put food in the fridge that turned warm. I asked for any kind of discount and could not get any help. I just felt like that was the least they could do considering we drove 8 hours to get there and spent money on groceries. There was something gross in the bathtub when we got there. Also, there’s a large opening above both bedroom doors to the living room so you have little privacy if you stay with another couple. I won’t stay again.

The space was really nice! The people at the front desk were also really helpful. Simon was responsive when we had questions. It was really hot when we stayed there and the AC at the Airbnb worked really good. I was really cold and they brought me extra blankets, which I thought was really really nice of them.

Very convenient location, the flat was clean and welcoming. Only issue was the confusion on parking. The listing needs to be more clear on how to register and how much it costs. Other than that our stay was wonderful

As always, Sosuite is one of my favorite companies to stay with. The space was comfortable. The amenities are accessible. The building was quiet. The rooms have charm. The location is close to a supermarket (just a brief 5 minute walk up the street on Spring Garden), food trucks and restaurants. Will being staying here again.

Spacious place with a cool industrial vibe and smart lock. Simon was readily available when we had questions, and was able to accommodate early/late checkout. Most importantly to me, this was a safe place for me to travel with my cat.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a SoSuite Airbnb property, and my experience was exceptional from start to finish. SoSuite has redefined the concept of Airbnb with a seamless blend of luxury, convenience, and personalized service.

Excellent trip for our family. Walkable and safe. Over 20,000 steps a day plus a couple of Ubers and we saw a lot of the city in just a few days. Bar on site and gym and reading market were bonuses. No complaints - happy customer.

The place matched the images. We had an issue with a bug or two, but being in the city in a converted building such as this I can understand that it happens. The team sent someone to spray and clean the very next day. Hosts were very responsive, even late at night and did everything they could to accommodate us during our 4 night stay.

Great interior, the host is very responsive and kind! Also comes with paid parking options so it makes our stay much more convenient.

My stay was on par for the price. The building is a converted industrial building which made for a beautiful loft. The building is older so there are some issues that come with that but it was overall a nice stay. I had issues with getting into my unit and was able to reach someone to reset the electronic lock right away. There were minor issues with plumbing and linen that were handled very quickly. The place was clean but did have some issues with dust in some areas. I attributed that the the original concrete pillars in the lofts. The restaurant downstairs was really good and open long hours. The in unit washer and dryer were a plus.

The staff at Sosuite is phenomenal. As described. Walk to convention center easy.

the apartment was great. met then expectations set in the description. only issue in the room was shower pressure. otherwise everything was great. gym, parking, check in/out was very easy. I'd stay here again!

Everything is excellent and functions efficiently. The cleanliness of this place is exceptional. We will certainly return here every time we visit Philadelphia.

The overall stay was fair. However, there are a few issues worth mentioning. So Suite sets a high standard with rates and a deposit fee. However, professionalism and property do not align with these standards. During our stay, we had a few unexpected visitors: a roach and maintenance. We received $50 refund due to reporting the roach. Later that day maintenance knocked on the door to change the battery in the keypad. So Suite did not notify us of the maintenance issue nor did the staff member have an ID. When we decided to extend our stay, we were alerted the next day that maintenance would come to the unit. He arrived 45 minutes late, which made us miss our dinner reservations. We were also locked out of the unit for 30 minutes due to failure to reactivate the door code. The cleaning crew manager used her door code to let us in. Lastly, although there is a policy for smoking, both the hallway and the bathroom in the unit smelled of smoke.

This place had everything you could ask for in a home away from home. Fully stocked, from the kitchen to the bathrooms! I would book again.

Great stay

Simon’s place was clean had just about everything my traveling companions and I needed during our stay. While check-in instructions were on a site outside of Airbnb, the process was intuitive and easy to follow. The stay was comfortable overall, but it should be noted that due to the open windows above each of the bedroom doors, sound does carry throughout the apartment.

This is my third SoSuite stay. The listing was as described. We had a couple minor areas of concern that were immediately addressed once we checked in. Simon was super helpful and responsive. I look forward to future stays.

This place was as described. Everything was perfect and safe for my 2 friends and I. Only thing I would say and it’s not the host Simon fault at all is the receptionist downstairs at night is very rude and inconsiderate when speaking to individuals so you all be aware. But please I would def I book again with no hesitation because it was soo worth it for the experience while in Philly.

The inside of this place is just as pictured, but it is in a rough area as I expected coming to Philadelphia. Unfortunately there is a big homelessness and addict problem in the city, to no fault of the air bnb host themself. I heard noises from other apartments throughout the evening as well. The apartment itself had a strange smell of stale smoke, and the hallways had a bad smell as well. Due to these factors, I feel we overpaid for what the place offers.

Our family enjoyed the experience of staying in the city apartment with comfy beds and spacious hangout space. Positive: Easy to locate the building and rooms. Convenient safe parking worth the fee. The bar/restaurant next door is perfect. Separate bedrooms and two bathrooms in unit. Negative: The neighborhood was surprisingly less than we expected. The view out the window of the unit we had would be the only thing that is a 7/10. In all the unit got the job done.

Nice place, cozy, quiet, while being accessible to the city. Host was incredibly responsive, making sure any issues with our stay were handled as quickly as possible. The SoSuite concept is interesting, combining long and short-term rentals in one building, but we had no issues with the check-in/check-out process. Quality of amenities are basic but functional. Great for a budget-friendly stay in downtown Philadelphia!

This was my second stay at Simons listing and will be my go to stay every visit !

Comfortable, quiet place with basic amenities. Good communication, easy check-in, and good value. Clean, but furniture starting to show some wear. Stayed here with a friend for a concert at Union Transfer, so location was ideal for that. Note that this is not an individually-owned unit, but a rental company called Sosuite. Once you book, you have to check in with them, too.
