responsive host, everything was amazing

We've stayed here twice now and love the area. Easy to book, communication is top notch, and the rentals are lovely. This will most likely be our go-to place for future trips.

A WORD OF CAUTION TO PEOPLE BOOKING HERE: This place is the WORST airbnb we have ever stayed at. The first room we went in had dirt on the floor (which we ignored) but the bedsheets were soiled and had giant yellow stains. Staff in the hotel couldn’t care less and said to call the host. We called and they said they can put us in another room so we went there and had the exact same problem. Bedsheets COVERED in stains of bodily fluids. At this point we were uncomfortable and called the host and they sent us to see two more rooms. Every room they showed us had bedsheets/towels that were stained or had hazardous body fluids on them; urine, blood, etc.. One room had a half drunk water bottle in it. The host said sorry, that locations currently having problems with their cleaning crew but we have no other availability & can send someone the next morning to change the sheets. We left immediately left. This was a true nightmare experience for us and we will never stay with SoSuite again.

Top Lage und ein schönes Appartement!

The apartment was nice, spacious, nicely decorated and well appointed. We appreciated the details, like staples in the kitchen and very comfortable beds. It's a great space. The hosts are excellent and very responsive. The immediate neighborhood is located near center city. Parking was convenient. It's an area in transition which feels isolated, particularly at night, with few establishments and businesses.

Stay was great overall — clean, comfortable, and everything went smoothly. The only issue was that the hallway had a very strong weed smell throughout the stay.

El apartamento es muy amplio con techos altos, los cuartos son muy cómodos con mucha luz. La sala comedor cocina espectacular. Lo único que le hace falta es mejorar la recepción y los pasillos del edificio, pero una vez dentro del apartamento es muy agradable!

This suite worked great for our family of 4. It was nice to be able to spread out into private bedrooms and 2 bathrooms instead of being cramped in a small hotel room. Overnight parking fee was reasonable. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful place

This is my 2nd stay at SoSuite. The first I stayed with friends for a concert at the Met. I enjoyed the stay so much I came back 2 weeks later for another concert and brought my family to enjoy. Would stay again and again when in Phila.

I love staying at the Sosuite units. You always get a great view of the city and you get to stay in a beautiful spacious apartment

Place was great! Simon was very attentive and made everything easy!

Simon and the team were extremely responsive. My main issue was - we had asked if there was a possibility for early check in- even by an hour as we have a small baby and had a wedding to go to. I didn’t realize that check in is at 4pm till after we booked (I could’ve checked before though) the response was kind but they charge $60 for any early check in. We opted out as it was out of our budget for the stay. However, once we arrived the cleaner was still working and seemed irritated- at first rude but after a small conversation it was clear they were understaffed and the room was left in a pretty indecent state before hand. At this point I only had an hour to settle my baby in, get ready and get travel to get to the wedding In time. At first we were told that we could leave our bags there while she finished- I had to insist that we couldn’t wait and to be put in a different suite . After about 15 minutes we were moved to a different suite. Good outcome, frustrating journey.

First it said check in time at 4 pm and at 4:24pm we received a text saying that our spot wouldn’t be available until 5:30 pm. They did offer us a later check out because of this. We walked inside to sticky floors and we feel a rushed cleaning job. Drawers and cabinets were open which was just odd to walk into. Light switches and countertops were sticky and gross. The couch was disgusting and did not match the photos at all. Dust and cobwebs on the windows and curtains. Hair and makeup on the towels. The beds did not have a fitted sheet, only a flat sheet tucked in. There were a bunch of little Bumps under one of the flat sheets so we pulled back to see clumps of hair and whatever else. It was a gross place and would not recommend if you’re looking for a clean place. Absolutely not worth that amount of money. I’m actually pretty upset I spent that much money on somewhere I didn’t feel comfortable sitting on the couch. Also the parking was tight and difficult to manage in a truck.

Renter beware! This was my second time booking with this company, different location. This building was easy to find. But walking up to our unit it was wide open and hadn’t been cleaned at all. Company put us in a new unit for the night but had to check out of there the next day and wait for original unit to be cleaned. Didn’t seem like a priority to them. So we had to take luggage and dogs somewhere while we waited for the unit we paid for for the previous day. Which really messed up our original plans for the day. The front desk was very polite but it’s not in their hands since it’s a big company. When we finally got in our unit it had broken fixtures, burn marks on furniture, sticky floor with glass on it. I won’t be staying with SoSuites again. Guests don’t seem to be a priority. Upon checking out I over heard another family checking in dealing with the exact same thing. Our cleaning fee was waved as compensation. 🙄

Love the place felt right at home

We enjoyed ourselves beautiful space cleanliness nice furniture, nice bathroom kitchen was comfortable to move around I will recommend this space to others.

The place was very clean and pretty. We got there at 3:00am and had no trouble checking-in. There’s also a nice restaurant for breakfast/brunch right next door.

We stayed here one night and about an hour before we were to check in I got a nonfiction saying there was a leak in our unit and we were moved to another one. The new unit was not on the top floor, had no balcony and a smaller common area, and the unit had a smell like it has been a smoking unit at some point. I told Simon this and he refunded me $20. The soap was clearly watered down. The hallways in the building smelled like garbage. And the floors in the unit were really dirty. If you walked w/o shoes your feet felt gross in less than 5 mins. All the furniture had visible nicks, as did the walls and doors. I don’t blame the staff or cleaners, I bet they are under paid and don’t have the resources to do their best. The portal registration was annoying and I’m not certain “Simon” is a person. Could be a chat bot imho.

Great place

Everything was as described, communication with the host was quick, smooth, and helpful. We stayed with two toddlers, and were provided with two pack and plays which was great (Thank you again, Simon & team!). Check-in was easy. We would stay again.

This place was easy in and easy out, very quiet, but still right in the middle of everything (walking distance from most all downtown attractions). Communication was incredibly helpful and directions were easy! I will definitely return when in the area!

Sosuite and Simon never disappoints! Simon is always very accommodating. Any time that I have requested early check in or late checkout, the request were always approved, in fact during one of my stays I caught the flu and had to change rooms because it was book for the upcoming days. I paid for and requested late checkout and explained that I had the flu not only was my request approved Simon sent the kindest message regarding my health and approved for me to check into my next suite early without charging a fee! The suites here are always very clean and well stocked.

The host was great, responses were fast, and all of the necessary access codes were easy to find in the Sosuite portal. The apartment was huge, had all the basics, and featured lots of natural light coming through the massive windows. Sound travelled well and echoed around quite a bit, from other apartments and from outside as well. So if you are sensitive to noise, not used to the city soundscape, or need total silence and darkness to sleep, I’d bring a sleep mask and earplugs.

I stayed at SoSuite for a week and had a positive experience. The property was well-maintained, comfortable and had a great fitness center. The host was responsive and in light of a significant maintenance issue, ensured I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, even making an alternate unit available. When I needed a last minute late checkout the host accommodated my request for a transparent fee. I recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable stay, especially if traveling with a pet.

Location was good for walking everywhere we wanted to go, and the unit was nicely laid out with beautiful views. However, the unit and most of the building smelled really strongly of weed. The building itself was very dirty in the hallways and elevators. The unit itself felt cleaner than the surrounding building, but it had hair on the floors and the table surface was greasy. We paid for parking, but on one occasion the entire lot was full. (Luckily, someone ended up leaving and we were able to get their spot, but it seemed they’d overbooked the lot.) There were no blankets (and the unit tended to be cold because of big windows), and very few glasses and flatware. Overall, for the price, it was ok but not great.

Had such a great stay here. Apartment was exactly like the pictures. The big windows and high ceilings were so nice. It was clean and comfortable. Check in instructions were very clear and parking in the garage underneath the building was super convenient and safe. Simon was great and responded very timely.

Adequate and good value but wished it had more bells and whistles Positive: Good value, spacious rooms with cute styling and super high windows and ceilings, restaurant on site that we ended up not using. Negative: Linens and pillow not supplied for advertised sleep sofa. Had to be quite assertive with guest contact to get it delivered. Sleep sofa was not a pull out couch but rather just a wide couch. Apartment was spacious with cute albeit cheap furnishings but had the bare minimum supplies, not even a throw pillow or blanket for the person sleeping on the couch. Although the apartment was clean, found a smashed cockroach on an interior door, water stains on bathroom ceiling and flickering lights in bathroom. Second bathroom was large but lacked a panel to cover AC machinery which was situated right next to toilet. Location was not the best - pretty long walk through mixed neighborhoods to get to tourist areas, but we did it for three days with no issues and we knew the location when we booked it and you get what you pay for!

Excellent stay in every respect. Next time I’m in Philly this will be my first choice!

Nicely converted corner loft unit. Big windows and high ceilings. 4th floor, so not much street noise heard in the unit. Lots of space. Clean. Mattress quality was adequate. Restaurant/bar in building was good and reasonably priced, at least by big city standards. Bedrooms had blackout curtains, but it still was hard to avoid brightness at 6am due to an unobstructed eastern exposure. Full kitchen in terms of appliances, but not otherwise equipped for more than basic cooking. Checkout instructions explicitly state that guest NOT responsible for doing laundry, dishes, or other cleaning (Yea!). The parking garage is in the building's basement and first floor. It was designed by a madman intent on causing distress. Navigating to a spot requires driving through a narrow, winding corridor that dead-ends. Unless parking spots are unoccupied, it is difficult (or impossible?) to turn around to exit. If leaving when another vehicle is entering, a negotiation between parties must occur.

Great place all together! Home was clean and the area was nice. In a safe secured building. Easy check in with no issues. The only thing was parking. I’d pay for the parking in the building. Other than that definitely a great stay!

I enjoyed my stay at Sosuite. I was between rating a 4 or a 5. I’m from Philly and booked this place to visit some family and friends. Was not in love with the location. It’s a bit of a walk to center city, at least To the places I wanted to visit. Some, not all of the surroundings seemed a little run down, specially walking toward downtown. Internet was decent enough to work, had to restart modem a couple times. Over all the room was clean and spacious. The host was quick to reply when I had questions.

This place was so great! It was clean and had everything we needed for our week long stay. The host had excellent communication as well. Would definitely recommend!

The essentials - this is a really nice place in a fun building. The host company is very responsive. The processes are simple. Parking was fairly easy. It checks all the boxes. The neighborhood is a bit of quiet zone without a ton of sights, restaurants, etc. very close by. That was fine by us. We wanted a nicer space and had no problem walking 10-15 minutes to get into the heart of things. My only real ding is that it does feel like SoSuite wants to upsell as much as possible. I get it, but it's not great as a customer. In my reservation request I specified that we had a pet. After booking I was asked to confirm that we had a pet and was then charged an extra $15 per day. I wasn't sure why given that wasn't done up front. I asked for an early check-in and that was $55. Ditto a late check out. There was promotion of luggage services, nearby parking, etc. Overall very mild issues with what was a very nice place and stay.
