Very dirty and very noisy. Gym was a big letdown. Dirty and broken equipment. The whole placed smelled awful. Smoking all over the place. Very questionable neighborhood.
Positive: It was conveniently located from our daughter's student accomodation. Also, it's a short car ride into Centre City. Negative: The moment we stepped into the main lobby, we were greeted with a weird stale stench. Even our apartment had a musty wet dog odour. It was not cleaned properly. There were food particles from the previous occupants on the kitchen floor. The bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke/weed, most likely spreading from the AC vents/exhaust ducting. We had booked a two-bedroom apartment. The bedsheet on one of the beds was torn as was a bath towel. The bedroom had the filthiest rug and the living room the dirtiest sofa. No coffee table in the living area and no safe to place valuables in. The kitchen was ill-equipped. A basic frying pan being absent but was provided upon request. Not enough cutlery. No idea if the coffee creamers in the kitchen had expired as the moment I added one to my coffee, it got lumpy and spoiled. We had no wi-fi connectivity for the first couple of days. Despite booking for 11 nights, the apartment was not thoroughly deep-cleaned mid stay. Also, are the floors ever mopped, as the underside of our slippers had turned black. The apartment looked and felt so dated.
The place fit our needs for this particular trip. It covered the basics and worked for a relatively short stay.
The stay was great value for the price, and we really enjoyed our time here. The location was convenient, and the accommodations comfortably met our needs throughout our visit. We had a positive experience overall and appreciated the value offered. We would gladly consider staying here again in the future.

Simon At Sosuite’s place was amazing! Very clean and it looked just like the photos I’ve seen. It was very clear instructions and not had to get in.
For a family the place is great. For what our needs were Team travel people not related it was a little small with only 1 TV.
Great stay overall the water was probably the only issue we had but the stay overall was amazing going downstairs to the bar was great. Great drinks as well.
It looked nice and I felt comfortable there despite the minor issue of having my apartment number switched
The place was in a great location for getting around Philly. All the rooms felt very roomy, kitchen had everything we needed for meals we did in. Definitely recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay at Simon’s place. Plenty of space for 4 people. Kitchen has most of the essential stuff for cooking. This was our second stay at Sosuite and we would stay there again.

I really enjoy my stay at this Sosuite. The space was beautiful. I love the high ceilings. Simon was very quick with his communication when I told him a minor concern an it was resolved quickly! I would definitely come back again.
Amazing stay
Was great location had a front desk manager who was helpful. Had onsite parking in a gated garage for $28 a day cheaper than city garages but it’s a small garage don’t recommend for large trucks. Apartment was nice and clean the only bad things were the door was cracked open when I first checked in and circuit for 2nd bedroom tripped and lost power in the middle of the night. Other than that loved the stay and has a Tavern connected to the building

The place was as described. The building feels safe with manned 24hr reception area. Paid parking on the premises was a bonus and convenient as we wanted to park and explore. Great location!

Perfect space for a weekend trip. The unit had a lot of space and amenities. About a 15 min walk to Reading Terminal. Host was very responsive!
I’ll make this review quick easy and straight to the point: Cleanliness 10 out of 10 The bed 10 out of 10 (I have back pain and this bed was the perfect brand. I’m still hoping to see how I can buy this exact mattress) Decor 10 out of 10 Convenience in location 10 out of 10 Communication 10 out of 10 check check out process 10 out of 10 Towels, pots & pans 10 out of 10 The only thing I could say is that because it’s a loft style room it might be a little warmer and the heat won’t be able to travel through all areas, but to be honest, I felt comfortable sleeping I personally did not feel hot. My friend who visited was even thinking about possibly looking into renting rooms here and she lives in the luxury apartment the Piazza close by, that’s how great this Airbnb was. In short I would definitely rent here again
This place is super cool! Old printing building turned apartment/airbnb. Rooms are so hip, industrial, chic, so fun. Everything clean. Neighborhood got a little dicey at night but really fine during the day. As others said, while this is two bedrooms the open loft spaces over doors means you can hear everything going on throughout rental. No issue for us with our two adult kids, but we could see how this might be weird w 2 couples or for a long stay. Kitchen extremely clean and great layout. Nice high quality furniture. Lots of space and no clutter.

Simon is a great host. This place is exactly as described. Spacious clean and comfortable space for the 4 of us. Front desk staff super friendly and helpful with local recommendations. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.
Nice space and clean
This apartment was exactly what we needed for the right price. The building is very cool with huge windows and especially with a car an extremely central location. We made good use of the living room and the gym. The only drawback is that it could use a little more attention to detail with the cleaning, some more thorough attention to surfaces and especially the floor is warranted. But linens, bathrooms, furniture were all great.

Simons's place was perfect for our needs. We only stayed one night in anticipation of the Super Bowl parade but we loved it. Lots of places to eat, including the restaurant right in the building. Simon was a great host, communicated perfectly and made sure our stay was smooth. I would definitely stay here again.

Highly recommend staying here if you are in Philly! It was a big, clean space in a great location. 15 minutes walk to Chinatown, Old Town and Reading Terminal Market. Restaurants and grocery within walking distance. Would definitely stay again!
Great place clean secure building nice and quiet
Spacious and clean uni, perfect for two couples (or less). Not too much within the immediate area; but there are some small stores around the corner to grab snacks, water, beer etc. We found street parking very easily, but they do offer a paid parking option, should you need it. We opted to use ride shares when heading into Center City; quick and easy ride. Smooth check in and check out process and communicative host.
Everything was great and easy process
the stay at sosuite was easy and convenient. the rooms were nice and clean, and the kitchen was nice and had cookware. the high cement ceilings unfortunately meant there was a bit of an echo, and the holes cut out from above the bedroom doors meant sound carried between rooms, as well as noises from other guests in the halls. we were there for a convention, which was a bit of a hike away, but doable. parking is paid and separate, and was slightly inconvenient to access through a gate, but worth it. street parking might have been possible but I'm glad I wasn't looking for it. overall, a decent stay, I'm glad I was able to find it.
Simon was very responsive to our questions and very professional. The apartment is nice but has two areas above the bedroom doors which seem to be unfinished, as there is a square opening above each bedroom door which is open and does not allow privacy to the main spaces.

Our stay at this Airbnb was perfect! My friends and I loved it. Simon was very helpful throughout the process and answered any question I had. The unit looked just like the pictures and was very spacious. Additionally, anyone we encountered in the building from residents and staff were very friendly. Only suggestion, I do think the unit needs a paint job or cleaning of the walls and cabinets as there were scuff spots on the walls and red paint on the bathroom cabinets. All in all, it was a great stay and my friends and I will also look for a SoSuite unit anytime we are in the city! Last thing, the location was perfect, we were about 10 minutes from main activities in the city.
Simon and SoSuites are easy to deal with and made for a great stay. A quick Uber got you to center city or any other landmark, the restaurant on the ground floor was solid and there were plenty of bodegas and other shops within a block or two walk. I felt safe coming and going at all hours. Not a dealbreaker, depending on your group, but I was surprised that the two bedrooms in 208 weren’t completely closed off. There were openings above the bedroom doors. I’d have likely opted for a different unit, had I known.
Simon is a wonderful host! He responded quickly to our question and provided an immediate, helpful answer. The location is convenient to everything we wanted to see and do. The on site parking and restaurant were great perks. Check in and check out procedures were clearly and proactively communicated. The apartment itself is lovely and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you’d need for a long weekend. We will definitely stay again!

Gorgeous, convenient apartment that smelled of cigerette smoke. I suspect there is a tenant in the building that smokes and the smell drifts into the Airbnb unit. In which case, the Airbnb hosts can’t do anything about this. Management attempted to remediate the issue with air freshener, changing air filters, and using something called an “ozone” purifier but it could only be used when we were away from the unit, so the smell just lingered. Fortunately, we were refunded half the costs but I’m sure management is aware that this is a persistent issue and continues to make the unit available anyway, despite no smoking being allowed in the unit and cigarette smoke being an irritant to many people, and genuinely unpleasant to be around for people who don’t smoke. Also, the TV would not stream any videos/channels.

We wanted like this place, however immediately upon arrival we saw bugs in bathroom. During our week long stay we also saw several roaches in the living areas. Previous reviews were correct, the lobby smells like a litter box. We chose this place for the parking, however we were harassed by the night desk agent wherever we parked. When we went to leave, we found our brand new vehicle had been vandalized, keyed along the passenger side. The staff was responsive but offered no resolution despite giving them a week do so. Don't stay here.
