Enjoyed our stay. Close to everything. Location was good. Parking was a challenge. Overall, good stay!

I would never stay here again nor would I recommend this place to anyone. I spent over $1000 total for 2 nights includin Positive: PROS - bed and pillows were decently comfortable - dog friendly - restaurant on property had good food and drinks Negative: CONS - multiple roaches and bugs on the walls - room wasn’t very clean - location was terrible - thermostat completely didn’t work making the room hot and stuffy - one of the beds in the bedroom wasn’t made with all of the blankets piled on top - dog area was a small patch of fake lawn surrounded by garbage bags - unable to communicate on the phone with sosuite and had to communicate solely through text

Space looked like was advertised, the staff in the building was SO NICE. Always said hi, helped if you were carrying stuff, etc. Really fantastic folks.

I had a wonderful stay at SoSuit in Philadelphia. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The host and staff were extremely cooperative, kind, and supportive throughout my stay. What I appreciated most was their flexibility and understanding, as the length of my stay was uncertain due to my son’s medical condition. They made everything so easy and comfortable, and I never felt that I needed to make any special requests. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely book with SoSuit again. Highly recommended!

Place was DISGUSTING AND I DIDNT EVEN STAY THERE THE WHOLE TIME. They gave a shitty refund. The host is an ass because he doesn’t care. I paid for parking and a damage fee that wasn’t mentioned. The cleaning people weren’t available which left us having to stay there because it was so late to go somewhere else even tho I requested a new place. I will be deleting my account and never booking with Airbnb again because of these disgusting horrible people.

The place was fairly nice, but for the price it was super dirty. And the building smelled terrible. The cleaning lady even walked right in Sunday while we were cleaning up to prepare to leave. The people who I dealt with are great but the property is gross and not well kept. Definitely won’t be returning. Do not trust the pictures.

Clean and roomy. Easy to access with keyless entry. Parking was conveniently located on the premises so we didn’t have to hunt for on street parking.

I was annoyed. Asked to check in early they had me in review for the whole stay never got back to me. I went to the room early just to see if the code worked some worker was in there chatting away on the phone. Had to wait till 3pm to check in the bathroom weren’t cleaned no body wash. A bar a soap left from previous guess. Hair. Place was nice but that rubbed me the wrong way.

Great industrial-chic space in a convenient location with easy access to Philadelphia attractions. The city-view balcony was a nice bonus, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I’d gladly stay here again.

The apartment was cozy and shows better than pictured. I had a Great stay and would stay again.

Restaurant was decent and the place was quiet

I spent less than an hour in this Airbnb after checking in. There were stained towels in the bathroom, hair on every surface, so much dirt on the floors that my baby’s feet were covered in dirt after taking a few steps. It was horrifying. The host was responsive and offered another Airbnb nearby but I’d recommend saving yourself the inconvenience. We had to leave and book a hotel last minute. Also this was the state of the Airbnb after it had been cleaned - we saw the cleaner leaving as we arrived but the clearly did less than the bare minimum. It was a terrible and stressful experience especially with a child.

The building was nice and easy to navigate check in. But the place was very dirty the floors left stains on my socks like I walked outside. I had to clean the floors in all rooms myself. There were dead bugs in the bathroom on the floor and shower wall. There was a dirty towel left in the bathroom with muddy stains. And the place smelled like weed.

the place is great, run that service was pretty good, parking was convenient even though it's overpriced for one day, however the price for the unit was well worth it in a beautiful view. as well as spacious.

Stay is was great experience and I would say again and recommend. The host was very responsive in a timely manner. I came for a graduation but that Sunday I stayed in the suite and did homework, responding about the WiFi very quickly and restaurant local on site was very good. The staff was very kind and helpful with my parents that arrived before me.

Enjoyed the stay! Will be back again during next business trip to Philly!

Overall a decent place for a quick Philly weekend. We let go of our "cons", but some people may not. PROS: - Great location! Has restaurants/bars walking distance. Uber/Lyft is also available within minutes until the late hours. - Parking was EXTREMELY helpful to have on sight. It was paid, but we loved having the covered garage parking spot with in/out access. - Spacious apartment (2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms) with the coolest balcony! We a room on the 8th floor so this made for some great views of the city. - fast communication from the staff on the app. CONS: - Walking around the place our socks were filled with dirt, dust, and were black! We contacted the team and they offered to send someone to clean the floors for us right away (it unfortunately did not fit into our schedule). There was also a broken chair and stains on the sofa. We appreciated the response to clean again, but for the future think double checking the cleaning should be done prior to guests arriving.

We had a good stay and the room was nice. However there were a few things that needed addressing. It looked like their was a previous water leak at one point and some of the drywall on the ceiling was messed up, also the floor in certain spots felt a little soft as if they put flooring right over top of a damaged piece of plywood. And our biggest gripe was the fact that we were advised a penthouse apartment on the 9th floor and upon arrival we received a 8th floor apartment that was clearly different from the one that was advertised, we felt as if this was a bait and switch. The room was still decent but still not the penthouse that was advertised.

Place was great ! Look like the photos and beautiful view out the window , location was perfect ! But Floors and balcony could be mopped and the showers don’t get hot at all ! If we could get hot water running I’d definitely come back !

Big windows with a nice view! It happened to snow during our stay, and it was so nice to see from the bedroom window. The balcony was the cherry on top for views ☺️ overall the loft was great and spacious for our 4 person stay! It was very short drive to downtown as well.

We had a sisters weekend and this apartment was perfect for our weekend stay.

Has the best view of philly skyline. Very convenient parking arrangements and great amenities.

This is a great place. Up and coming area. You do have to walk to get to some places however. Restaurant on site was fabulous. This place is an old warehouse turned into lofts but is very comfortable. Appeals to a certain age group likely however of 28-40. If you are above the age of 55 this place may not be the best option. Everything is very digital. Not an option for room key cards and there should be more than one person working the desk downstairs to deal with helping people navigate check in/check out.

Simple to find and enter. Parking (charged) on the prémices a +. good restaurants nearby. The view from our 8th floor 2 bdr appartment was wonderful. Would stay again.

This is our third stay with SoSuite at the Independence Lofts and it was another great experience. This was the first time we had a private balcony and the view from the 8th floor could not be beat! The location is perfect for attending a concert at Union Transfer or Underground Arts and we love the fact that there is a great bar/restaurant onsite (The Institute) that is open late. We were able to walk to Reading Terminal, Chinatown and take a short walk on the High Line. Highly recommend!

Simon is a great and responsive host! We loved the space - large and well located with a nice view of the Philly skyline.

This is a lovely, clean and centrally located apartment. The staff at the front desk were very welcoming. Checkin and out was very simple and all done online. Would stay here again!

This place was okay, it looked like the pictures. The floors were extremely dirty they turned my socks black every time I walked on them. There was a noticeable smell of mildew or something in the whole apartment. The sheets and towels had a weird smell too. Nothing seemed that clean. I wouldn’t stay here if it was more than just one night. The look of it looked like the photos but there was scuffs and marks and scratches everywhere

Simon was an outstanding host. Any questions were answered in a timely fashion with excellent customer service. The unit was clean and everything I expected from the photos. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in town.

If you're looking for VIEWS of the city this is your spot. The pictures does not do it any justice. The space was very clean inside the condo and outside.. only complaint i would have would be not tvs in room as show & the parking Philadelphia does not play when it comes to parking.. Save yourself the hassle & just pay for the parking that comes with the condo.

Stay was very nice! The place is beautiful, 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, nice kitchen and area to relax. Near the city, was able to walk everywhere

I was in unit 806. The views from this unit are insanely beautiful; a full sweeping view of the Philly skyline from the bedroom. The kitchen had plates, cutlery, cups, glasses, and some cookware. I appreciated the cleaning supplies and extra toilet paper available. Washer/dryer in the unit was perfect. We had food delivered easily, and it's about a 15-minute walk down 11th street to get to the Reading Terminal Market. Street parking was available on the surrounding streets, and you can pay to park inside their lot. We used street parking and it was fine. The surrounding neighborhood was fine; I'm aware of my surroundings at all times. Didn't feel uneasy walking around. All in all I would return in a heartbeat.

They tried to charge me a $300 cleaning fee because I smoked on the balcony. There were no no smoking signs anywhere and said they would need to rent an ozone machine which is only necessary in an inside unit. Unit is also very loud so if you are wanting to sleep late, this is not the place for you.

The stay was amazing and views from the bedrooms were great!

Great place. Loved the big windows in the bedroom with a view of the city. Close to Noto the nightclub which is where we went! Really great place overall.

1. The whole set up of the building had a kind of dorm/youth hostel vibe. 2. The apartment itself was mid. The living room had no windows the floors were kind of grimy and the aesthetic was very faux designy. 3. That could all be overlooked but for the fact that the people in the unit next door (also a part of the business that rents out this one) had a dog that barked from when we arrived at 6pm until at least 12:30. Then the same people started playing pounding music. The walls are really thin and it was terrible. I live in NYC so I am not a stranger to noise but this was insane. 4. Before I wrote this review I told the manager:owner about my experience and he gave me a $30 credit and a discount off my next stay. I thought that was slightly comical remediation for a bad experience. 5. The views in the bedroom were really nice. 6. I never write bad reviews but this is an actual airbnb business not an individual so there is no excuse.

The only negative thing I had to say about any of it is that there wasn’t enough towels. Other than that, he was great and the place was great. Would highly recommend.

Excellent Positive: Great apartment. Had more amenities than we needed for our short stay. Lots of space and clean Negative: Water pressure in the shower/sinks could have been much better.

I had to clean it myself Positive: The on-site staff were kind and helpful, even if the property management staff were not. Negative: It was disgusting. Grime, dirt, hair, old food. It looked as if no one had cleaned it in weeks short of changing the sheets. We got in late from a show we were seeing in the area and assumed the room would be clean so we got ready for bed (about 11 pm). Not long after we started to notice that the bathroom was dirty. As we looked around it got worse- actual grime, food particles, hair, and fifth everywhere except seemingly the bedrooms. We reported it, and by the time they responded the offer we got was moving to another room. At after 11 pm, with both of us already in bed and having already cleaned a bathroom for basic use, that was an unhelpful response. Then they offered $25 for breakfast... $25+ I didn't plan to spend because I would have cooked my meals in the full kitchen they advertised we had, except it was filthy. Given that the hallways, stairs, elevators, lobby, etc were all dirty too, I find it unlikely we would have found anywhere clean. Very disappointed, especially with how property management handled the situation. I reported again the next morning and they decided to credit me back the $25- my time and clorox Wipes to clean the unit were worth more than that. If that's what their cleanliness and customer experience is worth then no wonder it was so dirty in there. We left early and couldn't even bring ourselves to shower first. At least the beds were clean and there was a nice view, but I wouldn't book it for those two features at even a fifth of the price for how dirty it was. Will never stay at one of the sosuite properties again, and I recommend you consider a different property as well.

So much to say about our experience here. The day of (40 min before check-in) they alerted me our 3 bedroom was not available due to an emergency repair and I'd be offered a 2 bedroom at no additional charge! After some back and forth we agreed to the 2 bedroom with a partial credit for the inconvenience. The biggest let down came at night. Around 10PM the unit next to us in 805 decided to have a huge party with incredibly loud music that shook our walls and we could literally here every lyric of each song. The worst part about it is we were travelling with our children (7 year old that couldn't sleep) but fortunately our 14 month daughter slept with a noise machine on. We were told by the doorman that he only worked the front desk and doesn't get involved with these situations. I did text sosuite and called and I will say they are very responsive but also that there hands were tied. They reached out to the guest multiple times but the music persisted until 3:15AM!

Positives - excellent views from the bedrooms, comfortable furnishings, very clean. Great restaurant downstairs. Secure (paid) parking, a definite plus. Challenges - the neighborhood. It is the city, we are familiar, however this area has a drug element beyond homeless folks just doing their best to survive. Inside the building is fine, just be sure to drive or Uber instead of walking. HVAC on balcony loud, but we expect that noise when it’s the only place prepped for it. The elevator stopped working 4 times during our 3 night stay. This is not our Host’s fault, however a tenant shared they had lived there 5 months and that it was not ‘unusual’ for it to be broken, and that building management won’t permanently fix it due to cost. We were on the 8th floor, it was very tough going on my husband’s back. Originally we hoped to extend a further night due to work, but the rate change from around $200+ to $500+was excessive and the elevator issue a concern. Overall a nice place inside.

We will for certain stay here again! It felt like a city home away from our home. The place was easy to access clean and had planty of space for my falmily. Staff was very nice and we always felt that there was support there if we needed anything. All in all a great experience!

Positive: Loved the comfortable beds and the facilities in the apartment. Very clean. Negative: The only negative part was the elevator wasn't working and we were on the 8th floor.we asked to have our luggage sent down on the freight elevator and that wasn't working either.
