Loved staying at the The Loxley!

The nicest interior to an AirBnB I've ever experienced. AirBnBs are often pretty tacky with jarring colors, but the browns and blacks really make this feel like a real apartment. The bathroom had beautiful marble tiles. The unit included a dishwasher and washer/dryer. Amazing appliances, very chique, great location.

The location and space worked beautifully to stay at and help my daughter recover from surgery. It’s a charming part of the street. Noisy, but just active city bustle. Safe area with a lovely market and vintage stores. The elevator wasn’t working when I arrived and it was extremely difficult to get my luggage up the stairs. But inside was larger than I expected. I’d stay there again! (A toaster would be nice to have)

Lovely Stay in Philadelphia's Old City Positive: The Loxley is in a great location in Old City, close to many of the historical sights and lots of restaurants/ cafes. The unit is lovely, with big windows, a nice kitchen and sitting area, plus 2 bedrooms and a good sized bathroom with washer/ dryer. The beds are comfortable, the unit is very clean and nicely decorated.. It was easy to get the check in information and to enter both the building and the apartment. I highly recommend the Loxley! Negative: The description should make it clearer that there are no windows in one bedroom and that the other bed is in the main living space (like a studio apartment). On weekend nights, there is street noise especially when the bars begin the close. The rear units are likely much quieter.

perfect location for exploring the best of Philly. Moved out of Old City a decade ago and love coming back to the energy and vibe that Old City offers. Close to Center City but closer to art and local markets for produce and beer and the best people watching Philly has to offer. Stop looking and stay here.

Clean and comfy. Definitely worth the price. Hopefully the lockpad issue will be resolved. We couldn’t lock the door either but we weren’t pressed about it either. Great location.

Great place to stay in the Old City on a very charming street. Was perfect my husband, toddler and I. The only issue was that the main bed in the living room is definitely broken (there was a random piece of wood on the ground under it that I think is a broken structural support). Aside from that, everything was great.

We arrived at 01:00am and spend more than 50 minutes trying to open the door, the lock wasn’t working and never came someone to help us

We had a great two night stay! The bedroom was a bit tight, but overall I actually thought the place was roomier in person than it appears in the photos. Very comfortable for my husband and me and our doggie. The SoSuite team was very responsive to questions, including recommendations for parking. We had no problem finding a spot in front for loading and unloading, and parked overnight in a lot a couple blocks away. Great walkable location with lots of food options in the area. There was some noise (to be expected) in the main areas, but the bedroom was totally quiet. Would recommend!

It was great! The bed was super comfortable, and was super easy to check-in and all. Only point of improvement to mention is the living room area doesn’t have blackouts, only shades, which means one bed has to be comfortable with sleeping in the morning sunlight. Otherwise, no comments! Great place and would recommend a lot

No parking ( have to pay 40/day to park at a parking garage) and they have a 250 dollar security deposit you are not made aware of until day of check in.

This place was absolutely perfect for our stay in Philly! I would highly recommend this air bnb and definitely will come back and stay again. It was just as described in the listing. The parking can be tricky in the area but there were available lots within walking distance. The unit was very clean and welcoming. The area is great with lots to do and a ton of good places to eat. The host was helpful and proactive in reaching out with recommendations. Thanks for sharing your space with us in the city!

Nice place and very good location. Positive: Great location with food and fun options within a few minutes walk. Negative: Once you figure out the front door, then it’s good to go. It’s a warm building in winter.

Stayed here for a night. The space was very comfortable, clean, and modern. Neighborhood was great. The 2nd room is small with no windows, which wasn’t a problem for us.

We have stayed at the So Suite Old City a few times, and the experience is always great! The team is wonderful, and we recommend them to everyone!

Exactly as pictured, clean, easy check-in and check-out. Didn't need the ear plugs they provided, honestly wasn't that loud (on a week night at least). Roomy, comfortable, perfect for a quick getaway with friends!

An exceptional stay from start to finish. The staff was attentive and welcoming, the apartment was clean and beautifully designed, and everything felt calm and well thought out. Comfortable and clean apartment in a great location managed by a very responsive company. Stylish furnishings slightly undermined by lower quality materials and minor deferred maintenance. Decently appointed kitchen with medium-sized fridge, electric stove, microwave, and dishwasher. Some city noise, as expected. Second bed is located in a "den" off the living room, not a second bedroom. Standalone bedroom is almost totally filled by its bed. Overall good experience and would stay here again. Thank you!

Great place to stay. They know it could be noisy outside so they provide you with ear plugs and a noise machine. The apartment was very clean. It was easy to get into. The WiFi was fairly weak. This impacts the TV. Parking is very hard around the area. Very expensive to park. They do give you some area options. Overall for the money in a large city. Great value.

The listing matched the pictures, and everything was very clean. The host was responsive the entire time and we were in walking distance to so many restaurants. We absolutely loved the neighborhood. The only con was that the wifi kept going in and out so we weren’t able to use the tv’s. We have a little one, so be prepared with zero screen time activities just in case.

The suite was clean and looked like the photos, easy to access, and they even left a welcome package with disposable water and food bowls, etc, for our pup. It’s also in a lovely, neighborhood with lots of funky shops and cafes, close to points of historic interest. The major issue we had was the noise at night in the front bed, which is directly next to street-facing windows. While management had thoughtfully provided earplugs and a bedside sound machine, these were no match for the street-level drunkards or, worse still, the loud vehicles that passed at all hours, piercing through all efforts to drown them out. So, while we were happy overall, we wanted to be sure to warn future guests: if you will require two beds, consider booking an odd-numbered suite (in the rear of the building) or be prepared for some serious sleep disruption in the front bed of the even suites Note, rear bed was in a cozy, quiet room, so even suites would be fine for one couple.

Nice location and features Positive: The location is pleasant, in a nice neighborhood close to the historic center. The apartment was very clean. The beds were comfortable, the furniture was very nice. The central air conditioning worked well, was adjustable, and not noisy. The manager was very responsive to any issues we needed. Negative: The wifi was very bad. The table and chairs don't fit together, and there's no room to put your legs together to sit! The curtains in the living room should be wider; there was too much light in the morning

Don’t hestitate - just book it! It’s perfect for your time in Philadelphia.

Not recommended Positive: Good location and quite spacious two room apartment with small kitchen and washing machine. Negative: Our apartment was dirty with lots of hair and dust on the floor, the bed linen had some stains on. Even though Sosuite offered to reclean the apartment and later to refund the cleaning fee, this should not happen. The kitchen was not equipped well, it only has small pans, no kitchen towels, no toaster or other basic amenities. It looks like it's not intended for actual use. Which is a pitty, as the apartment has lots of potential. Also did the kitchen only have three (high) chairs, so if four people want to eat, one has to stand... Internet was slow on the fifth floor and hence the "smart" TV did not work. Windows are super thin and you can hear a lot from the street down below. We were there Sunday and Monday, which was ok noise wise. But on weekends, I would not want to stay there. While the apartment looked promising, in my opinion this is an example of "bad" tourism and gentrification gone wrong. Especially with the touchless concept (only text-based communication), which in theory sounds nice, this felt like a soul-less experience.

Great apartment but the layout is awkward. Positive: The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Negative: There were 2 beds and 1 couch. The living room was made into a "bedroom" or sleeping area so you can't really hang out in the living room and then have the privacy of a bedroom. The private bedroom is on the opposite side of the apt and is so tiny, it's claustrophobic. No windows, etc. A suggestion would be to make the living room a living room with a pull-out sofa. The setup was very awkward for a group a friends.

Great location, easy to access, had everything we needed. One note is that while it’s listed as a two bedroom, it’s one bedroom, with a second queen bed in the living space. It was fine for our stay but the common space was very bright for anyone hoping to sleep in.

This apartment was perfect for our family of four! The best part was the unbeatable location — we didn’t need a car or public transportation during our three day stay. We were just a 10-minute walk from the Liberty Bell and within easy walking distance to nearly all the major sites (most within 10–25 minutes). There are also two charming coffee shops just down the block and around the corner where we started our mornings. The apartment matched the listing exactly and is located in a very secure building. I texted the host a question, and host responded within minutes. We would definitely stay here again!

This place was in a great location. The unit was clean and decorated in a simple and tidy way. The listing noted luggage drop off for early arrivals or late departures, which they do not offer. They recommend an off-site company instead with two hours free, but no locations were right near the property. Jean let me know they would update the listing to accurately reflect that. Communications were prompt and easy to follow.
