The place was good and clean and the building was easy to access. The challenges were the windows in the bedroom is on the roof and it was too bright in the morning with no ability to block the light. The wifi was also abit spotty in the room for my phone. Otherwise the other things were good.
SoSuite was very communicative! The space was clean.
We had a very nice stay. The location was perfect for us, as we were visiting our son in West Philly. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. The walls are quite thin between units, so the second night we heard a lot of noise from the unit next door but it died down before midnight. We would stay here again.

The place is as listed. Large, interesting/up & coming neighborhood, easy to check in and out, responsive host, mostly clean, comfortable bed had things been different, I would be fine with everything ---HOWEVER--the circumstances around this booking were very unfortunate. First, they have zero customer service. It feels automated. unhelpful, not accommodating and basically gives ZERO options to the guest. Second the off platform security deposit is lame. Your money is off air b and b--which is the whole point of booking on the platform is to avoid these fees. They would not let me cancel with full refund even though I was uncomfortable. Lastly a significant buzzing sound every 30 mins, kept me up at night that they didn't offer any concession or solution during my stay. At a time when I needed comfort this place and the people who run it were ice cold. This was not a good experience and they should be removed from Air b and b if they want to operate like their own entity.

Very comfortable apartment Positive: The property was very close to the city. The building was quiet, very safe and above all very hospitable at the entrance. Negative: A slight detail on the bed looked a little fragile despite everything it was clean and it was very easy to lie down.
Great little apartment in enormous old building which used to be a high school. Original facade and hallways left intact for an industrial chic look. Easy access and navigation. Kitchenette and fridge made eating at home easy, though not well enough equipped for anything more than simple one pot or pan meals. Note - long steep flight of stairs to bedroom and little study.
The apartment is fabulous -- huge loft-style apartment, super clean, quiet, fun three-story modern design. The apartment fob worked great for the building and the keypad for the apartment door was very convenient. I couldn't find the unit # in any of the confirmation emails when I was checking in but someone answered the phone immediately when I called and gave me the information. The location was perfect as I was looking for a place in West Philly close to my son's home. Overall, it was a great experience.

Great place to pay. We got this place on a whim and it was even better than expected.
Positive: The giant windows were cool. The location was good. The building had a lot of atmosphere and we appreciated that he developer kept the Up the Down Staircase/ To Sir with Love feel. Negative: I hated hated hated the AI based check in. The air split upstairs was noisy so we didn't use it.
I really enjoyed my stay, the location and access to the rooftop snd gym was a big plus.

Awesome spot to spend a week in Philly with my son. High ceilings and cool view. He and I really enjoyed the pool and ping pong in the lounge room. I come to Philly often, so I look forward to booking this place again.

Amazing space! Not only is the unit a beautiful place but the entire West Loft building is great. The suite had everything we needed for our 2 week stay. I’ve stayed here multiple times and it will always be my go to when I need a rental in Philadelphia.

It was my first time in an Airbnb and I had several new experiences that they didn't know how it worked, but they left all the instructions well organized, step by step on how to check in and check out so I had no problems with it. We just had a problem with the heater that was leaking but they solved it promptly (remembering that it was not a problem of the accommodation but the structure of the building, that week it was also very cold and there was a snowad). Service was fast, maintenance team super attentive and committed to solving something for us quickly. I highly recommend it for the Philly region.
Either you are drive your car or take public transportation both works. Street parking is easy to find and walk to metro or bus pretty close about 2~3 blocks. One perfect thing is VERY GOOD for someone like me who never visit Philly. Sosuite provide very good local recommendations, I can follow it without serach attractions before, eat as foodie and live like local one. Honestly...like you are going to visit your old friend hometown and he'll got you coverd for everything ahead.

Was very pleased with my stay at SoSuite West Loft Apartments in Philadelphia. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, and I felt completely safe throughout my stay. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Philly who wants a stylish and comfortable place to stay.
The condo is in a great location with lots of stores and restaurants nearby. And what an interesting building--a converted high school. It was surprisingly large and comfortable! There are a lot of stairs to the second level office and then more stairs to the bedroom. I liked that it gave both rooms a private feeling. Simon's communication was perfect. Easy check-in with clear directions. Would stay there again.

Nice space, in a really nice building. SoSuite team was very responsive. Wash & Dryer units didn’t work well and had a lot of trouble getting clothes to dry, as the unit would shut off prematurely despite being on a timed dry cycle. Otherwise, really liked the space.

The space is clean and welcoming. Two baths, a comfy bed. Easy check in and very responsive to any issues. The kitchen is minimally equipped ( only a Keurig and no toaster) and as previously noted, the water pressure in the shower is low. The building has a 24 hour door person which is very nice should you not have the door fob on you. Great location close to public transportation, U. Penn. and lots of great restaurants.
I stayed here for a month and it became my home away from home. I was comfortable and was able to communicate with Simon at all times. Really enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table. :)
So suite is so sweet!! Simon is a fantastic host & incredibly communicative. The apartment is nice, with basic amenities. Although listed as a 1 br., there is a 2 br office which is nice for remote work. 2 bathrooms one up one down and washer dryer. We’ve spent a lot of time here for medical treatment and the neighborhood is fine in my opinion. Groceries about 5 blocks and close to pharmacy, public transport- septa a few blocks over- 40th street station. The bedroom up a long stairway so if you have mobility issues this may be a problem but otherwise this was a great fit for us to be close to Penn Med and west Philly !
The place is very spacious and the host is incredibly responsive to any chat message. Even if something was not perfectly how we expected the team showed up and fixed it immediately, so we can have a great time.

Loved the location and the space was pretty much as pictured in the profile. Wanted to leave 5 stars but there were a few factors that I felt made it fall short of that mark. The AC in the bedroom only worked the first day… it had a major condensation issue and it was evident that this wasn’t the first time as the wall was stained with water damage. The bathrooms were clean for the most part but they could use a coat of paint as the walls were pretty scuffed up.

grea place to stay temporary, however I experienced a leaking ceiling that leaked non stop, I was offered a relocation but I felt that was a bit.much due to the fact the weather was very nasty, and I was settled in. I do think the nightly rates are a bit over priced, I do feel that the host could have taken the initiative to reimburse me something in return for dealing with the inconvenience I experienced, along with the television going out. however, the loft at west loft was cool, a lot of walking to get to the unit, front desk friendly.

Very cute duplex in a home of “luxury” lofts, converted from an old high school. The place itself has a lovely view, is very spacious, and even has a little office space before the bedroom. It’s a bit sparsely decorated but clean, spacious, and functional for a multi-party stay. Though it’s a bit pricey, if I come back to Philly and can’t crash with a friend, I’d definitely stay here for the comfort and space. The building amenities (e.g. the gym) are functional but not luxurious. Fortunately check-in was simple and accessing the apartment is so easy. The hosts were highly communicative (indeed I missed a few other their messages) and I’m sure if I’d asked for a few things I wanted but was too lazy to secure (e.g. a blanket, extra towels) they would’ve immediately responded.
Simon was very responsive and accommodating. Overall, I had a comfortable and amazing stay!
Scammers,I paid $246 with a $250 deposit. their place had a bad ceiling leak in the bed room. They offered me another place which I had to pay $70 for parking which I previously didn’t have to and it had less room/amenities. Previous from staying there I told them I wanted a refund but they offered to refund my parking and compensate me for my bad experience which I accepted, the next morning they only refund me the $70 and said that was my compensation which was an issue they cause in the beginning. I immediately checked out and they still charged me $136 for 1 night.

Positive: The location of the property was very convenient. Negative: 1. We arrived 30 minutes early but was not allowed to check-in until the stated time and had to wait outside in the hallway. 2. The facility as well as showers were not that clean. 3. The a/c in the bedroom did not work properly and the bed was super uncomfortable. The bed and breakfast, home stay vibe is totally gone to sh!¿ when the mattress is the worst, the a/c doesn't work and it's the hottest summeron record. 4. One of the toilets stopped up and no maintenance came to fix it. All in all, My stay was NOT SOSWEET and definitely Not worth the price.
Looked as mentioned in the description and the host was always responding and understanding. I’ll greatly recommend this place for any future trip to Philadelphia.

I've stayed at SoSuite AirBnB's before as well as other apartments in West Lofts. Great location. Nice building. The apartment is my least favorite of my stays. Most notable issue was pet hair everywhere, especially the rug. The kitchen is sparingly stocked, so don't expect to be able to prepare anything other than warming up takeout. There are a lot of stairs, the bedroom is two flights of stairs straight up. Be mindful of heavy luggage that may need to be carried up/down stairs. I would stay at the Lofts again, but not in this apartment.
Spent more than a month here. The apartment had everything I needed. Liked that it was always easy to park in the area (with no time restrictions). Nice place, would stay here again.

Beautiful loft apartment that is very spacious with the tallest ceilings I’ve seen thus far. There is a bathroom downstairs and upstairs next to the bedroom which is very convenient. There is also an office space between the main living level and bedroom. The building itself is amazing- school converted into apartments in an upcoming neighborhood of Philly. Overall we had a great stay.
Un muy buen lugar, ideal para estadías largas, la verdad es que nos sentimos como en casa, es espacioso para 2 personas, también la oficina esta bastante bien para hacer trabajo remoto, esta cerca de la zona universitaria y de west philly por lo que puedes legar caminando a cafes, bares y restaurantes de la zona, también esta cerca del centro, por lo que es rápido llegar incluso la estación de subway esta a 2 cuadras en cuanto a las instalaciones el lugar esta muy bien, el hall central es acogedor y el gimnasio de muy buen nivel. Por otro lado en Simón, nos respondió siempre muy rápido y atento a las necesidades que íbamos presentando, como punto a considerar en caso de ir con mascotas es que estas tienen un recargo adicional.
This was such a cute and convenient stay! Loved my unit which was just as spacious as advertised. Simon and the SoSuite folks were also really helpful when I ended up extending my stay multiple times. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a comfy place to stay in Philly.

Overall okay experience.
Simon is a great host. We had little problems with cleaning when we arrived at the apartment and he promptly resolved them. Also, we had problems with the Wi-Fi connection and he was available all the time to help me fix it. We arrived on the evening of Sunday, so the neighborhood was empty and that scared us. But during the week if you walk to University City the neighborhood is so great. Is important to say that you need to buy your water during your stay. The Wi-Fi doesn't work in the bedroom and the air conditioner makes a lot of noise, but I didn't say it to Simon, maybe is it possible to fix it as well. Last but not least, the place is the same that you see in the pictures :)

Careful, there are sharp exposed edges on the stairs. Be sure to wear shoes or be extra careful walking up and down, I cut my heel and needed stitches… no first aid kit in the property.
Staying at West Lofts was definitely a great choice for my month in Philly! The team at SoSuite were super accommodating and able to assist me whenever I needed support and friendly along the way. The building was a great spot to stay, as the city is very accessible by bike rental or Uber, but the neighborhood is also a nice, slower pace to not be in the downtown area the whole time. The river is only a short jog away, as I regularly ran to the East side where there is access to a path that runs along the river for miles. Additionally, having a gym in the building is super convenient, which if you can make your own workouts, you'll have enough options to get a sweat in even if it needs a little updating. Lastly, the unit gave me great living space with a few different areas to be in, whether it was the bedroom, office, or main floor living space. Solid value for the investment. While I would probably try a new building on my next stay, that is more to experience Philly in a different way... and would be very comfortable using SoSuite again to facilitate that experience!! Highly recommend.
Loved it! Positive: Loved this place, if I could live here I would. Everything about it was great, loved the furniture choices and layout of the lofts. They even had a washer dryer inside the apartment which I didn't get around to using. The place was very clean. I will definitely come back and stay here again when I can. Negative: Only negative I could say was that the location wasn't centrally located, but I knew that when I booked it. So I had to take a few long uber rides back and fourth when visiting the downtown and touristy areas.
The space is beautiful!!!!! I did not want to leave at all!!!! The loft was prepped with everything you may need. If you’re not familiar with the area, please prepare that parking is scarce. Also, it would have been even more amazing if there was a TV in the bedroom, so please bring a laptop or something if you like to watch something while laying in bed. The walls are pretty thin as well, you will be able to hear your neighbors and smell whatever they are cooking lol. It didn’t really bother me at all though.
