Positive: Richtig coole Unterkunft. Sehr bequem, Küche gut eingerichtet, wenn auch nicht für richtiges kochen. Die Lage ist genial gegenüber der Independence Hall. Negative: Es war recht kalt in der Wohnung. Die Fenster sind hellhörig und lassen sich nicht bewegen. Heizung haben wir keine gefunden.

Beautifully appointed loft apartment right across the street from Independence Hall.

Great little loft in the heart of Philadelphia! It’s within easy walking distance of the city’s major attractions and the convention center, making it an ideal location for both business and leisure. Staying here made my business trip much more convenient. The place was comfortable, well-maintained, and exactly as described. I would happily stay here again.

Perfect location close to everything. The bed was highly uncomfortable, besides that everything else was really enjoyable.

A great place to stay just across the street from Independence Hall. Look out over Independence Square Garden, with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Very clean, comfortable bed, would recommend!

Great place. Will stay again. Not so much for the place, but Phila Parking was giving tickets at 2am. I just spent over 500 to visit phila - but may not come up again for a 2 am parking ticket.

Had a great stay here. Loved looking out onto the park, had a very historic feel in public spaces, and all was smooth. Cleanliness was overall great except for a large amount of dirt on the floor in the kitchen. Wondering if they vacuum between guests.

Perfect stay!

We had a great stay at Sosuite. The Loft is exactly as pictured and was super functional for our 4 night stay. The only thing to note is that for anyone who is taller than 5'4, there are low ceiling airway vents in the bedroom/loft area that you need to duck to avoid hitting your head on in certain parts (near the spiral stairs). This wasn't a big issue, as we just bent down when passing it, but if you get up in the night to use the bathroom often, be mindful!

Negative: Fire alarm went off 2 nights in a row around midnight for no apparent reason.

Loud Negative: Paper thin walls between units, thin windows to the outside and some time ear plugs and a note saying sorry it’s loud… if you know it’s loud put it on tour booking portal beforehand so people know when they book… fire alarm had a false warning two nights in a row at close to midnight. No communication from the hotel about it at all…

Absolutely loved this place. We’ve in city center before but this location was perfect. Felt more residential than other parts I’ve seen. I wouldn’t recommend their valet, unfortunately it didn’t seem super safe and we had some issues with it. But overall it was a great Airbnb!

Great apartment for TWO people. Positive: I liked the apartment layout and location to Old Town. Negative: Aircon was cold downstairs and hot upstairs and you couldn’t fix this. Plus third person does have to sleep on the lounge, which is no good if they want to go to bed. Good apartment for two people.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there were a few things worth noting. It seems this property has multiple units, as the one we stayed in differed slightly from the photos. Our loft had large pipes running near the bed that created a noticeable amount of noise. They had provided ear plugs at the bedside, so I think it’s a known issue. On the positive side, the location is very central and within easy walking distance of the Liberty Bell and other Philadelphia landmarks, which was a big plus.

It was the perfect place for our US History tour! We were plenty comfortable and in easy walking distance to everything Positive: The location is amazing, and the building is beautiful with friendly staff and convenient, reasonable parking. Negative: The decor was minimal, as were the amenities. There are also exposed drain pipes from upper apartments in the loft. The noises they produce are… remarkable

The ledger is a great a place to stay if you are planning a trip to the historic sites of Philadelphia Positive: The location was great. The proximity of independence mall and Washington square park were ideal for taking our dogs out. Negative: I found dirty plates mugs and silverware in the cabinets. I had to wash them before I could use them. The noise level can get high at times with just normal activities from the other tenants.

Echt cool, könnten wir uns auch für ein longer stay gut vorstellen, aber die dicken Leitungen über dem Bett mit den komi Positive: Unfassbar gut gelegen. Extrem gutes Bett. Cooles Design mit Wow-Effekt vom Eingang bis zum Schlafzimmer. Wirklich spotless sauber. Kaffeemaschine mit den entsprechenden Kapseln. Negative: Weird Pipeline an der Decke über dem Bett mit weird noises. Wir hatten das Gefühl, mitzuhören, wenn die Nachbarn über uns duschen oder Pipi machen. Vermutlich gibt es sowas abenteuerliches nirgends in ganz Europa.

Amazing historic location, but not very quiet Positive: Location, location, location. Our window overlooked Independence Hall. It doesn't get better than that. Staff were super kind and helpful. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and it was nice & dark in the bed area. Facilities were great. Negative: There are large exposed pipes directly over the lofted bed area, and they are really loud. It sounds like someone swirling marbles around in a glass vase, or dropping a million pennies down an old-school metal playground slide, on and off throughout both day and night. They said there's nothing they can do about it because it's structural, and we eventually got sort of used to it, but wow it's distracting. I'd also be careful walking under the pipes if I were particularly tall... or going up/down the narrow circular stairs if I didn't have the best balance. My kids managed it without getting hurt, but they were very careful. It's an apartment building, so there are actual full-time residents mixed in with us short-term "hotel" guests. You can hear them through the walls pretty well. I'd still stay here again, but I'm not too noise-sensitive.

Hatte ein ca 80m2 gebucht, waren max 30, Mein Bett lag untere dem Abfluss Rohren(Bild), so dass ich jede WC Nutzung mithören durfte Betrug beim parken, hab für 36h fast 90Dollar bezahlt, obwohl dort drei Parkhäuser 26-30 Dollar für 24h direkt daneben sind

Positive: The location was amazing and the common area with the pool table was really nice. Negative: The noise. Our room, 222, had water pipes flowing water all night. The hotel has done nothing to rectify the solution. Would have been nice to have the cafe open.

Perfect location

Positive: Incredible location and great amenities - couldn't believe we found this for a similar price as a hotel room in other parts of the city, and less than hotels in the historic district. Negative: This is a really cool and beautifully furnished spot, but it is an old building turned into a sort of industrial finish, so with that comes some low hanging ventilation pipes (definitely have to duck in the loft if you're over 5'6") and hvac noise. That said, there is no beating the location, beauty, and uniqueness of this place. Would absolutely book again.

As a host Simon was very kind and responsive. The place was esthetically pleasing for sure. I think it is helpful to note that beforehand people checking in should know that a lot of noise can be heard mostly at all hours..walls are paper thin and that was not fun. However, Definitely a great location to do lots of things within walking distance which was awesome and convenient. Valet Parking is available (they were very responsive) but be prepared to spend for that around $40. I appreciated that there was a common room downstairs where my child could play and also a pool table - that was enjoyable! I also enjoyed that the kitchen had a nespresso! Simon provided a few things for young my child which was nice - although I don’t think the immediate surrounding area outside is kid friendly ..please be aware of that if traveling with children. Overall lots of pros and few cons. It was a nice stay, thanks Simon!

Great location. I noticed there were ear plugs and wondered why. The walls are thin and you can hear everything. Nothing the host can do about it, just information. The place was immaculate and the staff was accommodating. It was close to all the stuff we wanted to do.

Amazing location and place overall! It looked exactly like the pictures and was exactly how it was described. The only downside was all of the noise in the room from the pipes and the walls, but overall it was a really good stay and exactly what I needed!

Perfect stay! Positive: Everything was perfect, just like the photos! Spacious studio, comfortable beds, and lots of facilities. Negative: The room has a lot of water noises as the water/drain pipes are all apparent. So every time someone is taking a shower or flushes we hear the noises. Also the shower was very weak and either burning or freezing.

Beautiful stay in a very safe and secured area in Philly. Super walkable to where we wanted to go, Reading Terminal and Chinatown. The apartment was super clean and luxurious. Responsive host. The ONLY issue was the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors very well.. conversations, clock tower that goes off every hour and music... it was good that there were ear plugs but again you can hear everything. Otherwise its super cute and has nespresso and good hot water, comfortable couch that opens into a bed. Being able to bring my little chihuahua was a plus! Thank you for the lovely experience.

Positive: Great location, staff, and concept. The beds were comfortable and clean. Negative: The plumbing is INSANELY loud.. all night. The windows are thin so there is a draft and a lot of street noise. The room itself was clean as long as you didn’t move anything.

Positive: Location for history buffs. Beautiful lobby. Negative: The noise in the pipes and the cleaning smell.

Great Potential - Just Not Realized. Positive: The location is superb, overlooking Independence Hall National Park, easily walkable to all of Center City Philadelphia. The concept of the loft apartment is great, and it was nicely and adequately furnished. Negative: The loft apartment had some safety issues from my perspective - the loft area has short ceilings with large pipes and HVAC ducting that one has to duck under to avoid hitting your head. It also doesn't have any real ventilation. The metal spiral staircase to the loft has no guardrail at the top and the base on the main floor presents another danger of hitting your head. The walls of the unit are essentially a single layer of drywall and results in hearing noise all around. I could have written down word-for-word the neighbors' conversations. The windows to the street are single pane, so plenty of street noise at night. Adding to the noise is gurgling of water running through the exposed pipes in the loft sleeping area. I didn't get any sleep the first night. After discovering a white noise machine on the bedside table, it helped a bit after. Finally, I felt that the overall renovation of the shell was shoddily done from a quality perspective. It looks chic but not good quality.

Overall an amazing experience staying at this city-center apartment in Philadelphia! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and key attractions like the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. The apartment itself was beautifully designed, blending modern comfort with unique charm. The highlight was definitely the spiral staircase, which added such a cool, artistic touch to the space. The place was spotless, with all the amenities you could need, from a fully equipped kitchen to super comfy bedding. If you’re visiting Philly and want a stylish, centrally located place to stay, I can’t recommend this apartment enough. I’ll definitely book again on my next trip!

Perfect location for the historical sites! Positive: The location is a two minute walk from the entrance to Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. There is a small breakfast cafe on the first floor and a Wawa Convenience store (no gas) downstairs. Several restaurants in within a five minute walk. The location was very clean. The front door staff was exceptional. Negative: The loft bedroom and spiral staircase are challenging for someone with joint issue.
