The property was very clean and looked exactly like the photos, which we really appreciated. Our main concern was the additional check-in fees/deposit. While these charges were listed in the details, they were not included in the initial Airbnb price shown when we booked. We would have preferred to see the full cost upfront so we could accurately compare our options. Had we known the total cost from the beginning, we may have chosen a less expensive option. Overall, the property itself was nice, but the additional charges affected our overall experience.

I was removed for not disturbance that was caused by my neighbors without getting any notice, email or reach out. Pretty shitty.

Stayed for 4 nights on my own. The apartment was large, clean, new and comfortable. 5 minute walk to the convention center, so very practical for me. My only quarrel is that the kitchen equipment is very minimal if you want to prepare your own meals. My unit was on the quiet side, no noise, but I can see why other reviews that faced the street found the traffic noisy.

Wonderful stay Positive: They had lockers for your belongings after check out. the mirror in the bathroom has a LD light with touch of a button on the mirror the windows were nice and big curtains provided plenty of shade they had anm iron big nice fridge and my favorite was the oven no interactions face to face codes to get in we were welcomed with snacks already in our room they provided laundry pods for washing clothes Negative: the shower door would close by itself on you while getting in, noisy neighbors after quite time quite time is to early no parking busy street no good window view only two towels and wash clothes were provided the shower head was spraying everywhere

Conveniently located next to a parking garage and close to center city. The walls are thin and outside noise does make its way into the apartment but the value and location are worth the stay. Would stay here again when visiting Philadelphia

Enjoyed our stay. The apartment was just what we needed for our weekend in the city. Had a slight issue with accessing the unit, but host was quick to respond with a new code to unlock the suite.

Centrally located, spacious appartment in downtown. Positive: Location and place was spacious Negative: Heating thernostat was dicey. I couldn't get to operate it. It was cold at times. Kitchen needed a few serving bowls/dishes.

Always a great stay

I stayed in suite 501 and had no heat, even though I reported the issue several times. They said maintenance would come to repair it, but it was never done. Basically, I had a freezing experience. I would never recommend them. The code to get into the unit worked on and off. I had to wait outside the unit for 15 minutes on several occasions so I could try the new code they gave me. The place is in need of maintenance. The walls were dirty from previous guests, with makeup, sweat, and other residue. There was mold and mildew around the light bulbs, and a recessed light was hanging out of the socket due to water damage in the ceiling. The shower was dirty, and there was a terrible odor inside the unit near the living room. There was also a lot of stomping noise from the unit above. Luckily, I was hardly in the unit since I was there on business, but the time I did spend there was the worst Airbnb experience I have ever had.

This was place in as amazing, the host was amazing responded every time messaged and was very friendly. The room is so nice and has such a nice view especially at night, very comfortable and affordable place but if I’m being honest I felt like I got more than what I paid for I meant he location the room and the amenities were just that good. Definitely recommend anyone looking for a private stay in center around numerous places to check out Sosuite At The Onyx, i will definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area.

Buena estancia Positive: El apartamento es tal cual sale en las fotografías. Tiene de todo, no le falta detalle. La ubicación es excelente. Negative: Me mandaron correo con las instrucciones de entrada pero no ponía ni la puerta ni el código de la puerta. Tuvimos que llamar para que nos lo digeran.

BEAUTIFUL! 💕😍 My partner and I are definitely coming back here for our next time in Philly! I also recommended to my family, we’re definitely staying here again. Everything went perfect, from fast, helpful, attentive communication, to even getting a free cute gift from Lenny, to how clean and gorgeous the whole apartment was. Wish it was my home! Lol. Bait an Negative: Sosuites overbooked and told us they didnt have a room for us when we arrived. left us with difficult option to reimburse us and we try to find another hotel at last minute, or stay at another facility further away. we took the later option only to find out the other option was $183/night cheaper and they offered us $50 refund for our inconvenience. Once we checked into the other facility we looked up the nightly rate and we reached out to customer service the next day and ssaid they owed us a $550 refund and the $50 they offered was insufficient. If we hadnt done that they would have ripped us off for $500. Talk about a bait and switch. We filed a complaint to better business bureau about them to document their practice of overbooking and not reimbursing customer for full amount.

I always enjoy my stay! SoSuite at The Onyx never fails to amaze me. From the cleanliness to the beautiful views, I always feel right at home. This is my go-to place whenever I’m in Philadelphia, an absolute must!

Bait-and-switch by SoSuite ruined our trip Positive: Nothing Negative: Sosuite pulled a bait-and-switch on our friends and us and sent us to another cheap hotel in a “seedy” neighbourhood. The customer service interaction was appalling and no apology has been forthcoming. A thoroughly awful experience.

Good place to stay for a short term stay!

The host was very responsive with check in, garage parking next door which was very convenient. The apartment was exactly as pictured & the view from the roof top was beautiful. I loved my stay ! Can’t wait to come back !

When I arrived to check in, I was charged an additional fee for my dog, even though I had already included him in my Airbnb reservation. This caused a delay in my check-in while Airbnb customer service worked to resolve the issue. When I checked in, I found only one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, two coffee pods in the kitchen, and a nearly empty roll of paper towels. I asked if I could receive more supplies, and was told that what was provided was all I could use, which felt unreasonable given that I stayed nearly two weeks. At least they sent me a link where I could purchase additional supplies myself. Lastly, there was a leak in the bathroom. I understand that these things can happen and it wasn’t the property manager’s fault. However, there was a lot of water falling onto the floor, so I placed the trash bin underneath to try to prevent more water from spilling while I waited for someone to come and inspect it.

I absolutely LOVED my birthday stay here. It was so clean and gorgeous inside the apartment and not to mention walkable from a lot of good places! There is a little bodega around the corner that has anything you could need. The oven was so cool it doubles as like a microwave and has some nice cool features on it. Overall it was well worth what I paid and I would stay here again.

We had a great stay! The apartment was very clean, with everything we needed—including all the necessary kitchen utensils. Access was easy and communication was quick and clear through text. We were able to find street parking for the July4th long weekend, but there’s also a garage right next door if needed. The location is central enough to walk around and explore the city. Would definitely recommend!
