This house was exactly what we needed. Plenty of space, great kitchen, great family room with WONDERFUL views. And you cannot beat the direct beach access. The home was well kept, and the management company and owners were easy to contact and made it a point to check in a couple times during our stay. There was nothing about the house that we didn’t love and we will 100% be booking it again.
This house was everything we could ask for. The view and location are perfect. We had stayed on the east side of the house a few years ago and loved it and the west side was just as perfect. Just a few short steps to the beach and the covered porch was an amazing place to listen and watch the waves morning night. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back.

Pros: Gail was amazing! Truly one of the most responsive property managers we've ever encountered—she deserves 10 stars! Location is unbeatable—right on the beach, which made everything worth it. The community is quiet and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We loved the open-concept layout, which made family dinners and gatherings easy and enjoyable. It’s nicely tucked away from the tourist-heavy areas, yet still conveniently located—about 30 minutes from restaurants, grocery stores, and other essentials. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The home was in good working order—nothing broken, no issues, and the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. Cons: The property shows signs of being well-loved over the years. The upstairs bathrooms need attention—we noticed mold and peeling paint. Holes in the wall from pictures. There’s only one air conditioning unit, so the upstairs gets quite warm. The thermostat is restricted from going below 72°F, which made it uncomfortable at times. The bunk room didn’t match the photos and was a letdown for the kids. No beach chairs or umbrellas are provided, so plan to bring your own or rent (which can be pricey).
It was just what was needed
We have stayed in condos the last 28 years. After staying in a house we will never stay in a condo again. Very affordable. Right in the beach. We loved every minute of it booking same place for next year.
We had a great time at silver dunes west. The location to the beach was great and the views from the covered porch were amazing. We also enjoyed having a pool nearby. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. My only complaint was the cleanliness. The house could use a good deep cleaning. Overall our trip was great.
The Refrigerator did not work well and the downstairs area stayed about 79 degrees even when the shades were pulled down
Our Beach house had everything we needed and more! It was in the perfect spot to just walk right out to the beach or sit out on the balcony and enjoy the view. The kitchen was well equipped, and we were even able to request a replacement coffee pot that was brought to us within 30 minutes! The July 4 fireworks were spectacular!!

We made the reservation on short notice after cancelling a trip to Florida because of hurricane Helene. Very pleased with the location of the property. Guided fishing trip also a success.

Great stay! The house was clean, spacious, and kid-friendly, just steps from a beautiful, quiet beach—even on a holiday. We had a small maintenance issue, but the host responded quickly and had it fixed the next day. Would definitely stay again! Thank you for the memories!
We had a group of 10 and loved our stay. The view is spectacular and we ALL so enjoyed being able to walk down the stairs and immediately walk onto the sand. There was plenty of room for all of us and it never felt crowded. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items for the meals we ate there. It was nice to have the chairs and beach toys and an area to wash off with the hose in the carport. The house is a 6 minute drive from a Dollar General which was helpful when there were items we needed. There are also several good restaurants close by. Our boys loved night crabbing, so I'd recommend bringing nets and headlamps for some after sunset fun. (We always let them go at then end of the evening.) We wouldn't have changed anything and would recommend this home to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing and beautiful beachfront vacation rental.

We had a wonderful week even with some less than great weather. The lower deck provides a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and listen to the surf. We saw dolphins every day and enjoyed the great variety of birds. Fishing just steps out the back door. This is a great house in a wonderful location. Very good communication from the care takers, no issues with anything.

Property just needs some updating. Ice maker didn't work. Thanks so much for a great stay. Location was great and property management was very helpful.
This house is AMAZING. Second time we have stayed there. Will return. ***still highly recommend fixing the back stairs, the second step down is short and it would be VERY bad if someone got hurt on this- likely isn't up to code either. We mark it with chalk so everyone remembers to be careful.** It was also dirty this year, lots of sand in the house when we "moved in" and hair that wasn't ours. NO other complaints- we cleaned and then had a BLAST!
Silver Dunes West far exceeded my expectations. The location was great. The view could not be beat. Just a few steps from the beach. Plenty of room my family of 11. We visited Fort Morgan and the Zoo. We ate at Sassy Bass Amazing Grill, the food was tasty. We mostly hung out at the beach house or on the beach. The property manager introduced herself the first day never had that happen before. We had 2 hiccups that were fixed within hours. We will definitely stay here again.
We had a great time, beautiful Gulf view and loved that Gulf breeze, beach and water were wonderful as were the accommodations. Nothing beats an a direct on the Gulf vacation.

The house is beautiful. The views and beach were fantastic. The only disappointing part of our stay was many of the windows would not open. The weather was perfect to enjoy the ocean breeze and sounds, but we were unable to open many of the windows in the living room and bedrooms. I absolutely love feeling the wind and hearing the waves and was very disappointed not being able to open the windows. Other than that our stay was great.
Our favorite place to stay in Ft. Morgan! We return year after year. The views from the decks are spectacular. Great open living space and kitchen for family gatherings. Truly a gem!

We were a little short on bath towels and forks for a house to accommodate 12 people and the cookware could use a little updating, but overall everything was functional and pleasant. I would stay here again, definitely recommend!

The view from the balcony is stunning & we loved sitting on the nice outdoor Polywood chairs. The management company was fantastic and let us in an hour early because we arrived into town. So nice of them so we could get unpacked and start enjoying before dinner. If there could be just 1 improvement it would be a fresh coat of paint on walls & baseboards. The rest of the home has been upgraded with beautiful furniture & kitchen, fresh paint would just set it all off to perfection. Thank y’all for a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! Even in the fire heat of summer this house is super close to the water and your feet really have time to get hot. Large house with all amenities. Clean. We will return in the future!

We have been staying in Morgantown for over 20 years and this was our first time in Silver Dunes West. The house was very spacious and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

We loved staying at Silver Dunes West. The house was spacious and comfortable for our group of 6 women. We loved the close access to the beach and the remote feeling of Fort Morgan. We would love to stay here again for our girls trip! Our only two complaints about our experience were: 1. The A/C unit seemed to be old and we were unable to turn it below 72 degrees, so the house was not as cool as we would have liked it and would get stuffy in the afternoons. 2. The internet was very slow. Since there was not great phone service in Fort Morgan, we had to rely on wifi quite a bit. The wifi could not handle 6 guests trying to use it. Streaming on the tv was also slow at times due to this. Just wanted to mention it in case these items could be improved before we stayed here again!

Loved being right on the beach/ocean. No need to haul a wagon full of beach items everyday. I also loved the fact that we could keep our sun tent up overnight on the beach. Perfect location! Quiet/low key and not crowded like other public beaches in Gulf Shores. House was amazing! It had all of the necessities and was very clean. Property manager stayed in touch before, during, and after our stay to ensure we were satisfied and everything was meeting our expectations. Would highly recommend this property.
The master bedroom had THE comfiest bed ever! The place was spacious and nicely appointed. The sofa/recliners were wonderful! The only negative was the WiFi wasn’t working right with poor cell service. Otherwise exceptional stay!

It was a last minute vacation booked on Thursday arrived on Saturday the staff was very helpful and caring one day we had dense fog and got a text from one of the staff to see if we needed anything thought that was very nice the home was beautiful the master bed was amazing comfortable would rent again ...
