Took a girls trip and this was the perfect stay! Cozy, cute and right near so many fun and beautiful things to do. Host responds to questions within a timely manner and directions for check-in/check-out were clear and easy to understand. I would definitely stay here again!
The Silo is absolutely gorgeous and we had a great stay! The views are beautiful and it’s tucked away off the main street so it’s nice and peaceful! Unfortunately one of the neighbors or someone did end up calling the cops on us for apparently leaving too much? Even the cops wasn’t to sure what that was about but he was super nice about it! So just keep that in mind other than that absolutely no complaints we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back if in the area!

We stayed here over labor day weekend and it was great! The location is very convenient and walkable to downtown Fish Creek. We had 6 guests and the space is a little tight but manageable. Also note that there is little privacy as the bedrooms don’t have doors and the 1 bathroom with a shower is in the second bedroom. But we enjoyed the fire pit and being in a very convenient location!
when first arriving with my friends we noticed a puddle of water on the top floor from the leaking A/C window unit and when notifying the Owner I was answered with a Ai response. later my friend steps outside on the Second floor balcony and gets met with a swarm of bees and gets stung 6 times (thankfully not allergic!) and after all that when my other friend tried using the down stairs restroom the sink was clogged and could not be used. Over all a beautiful property that needs some serious maintenance.
The property was very nicely located. It was within walking distance to everything our family wanted to do.
Such a unique place to stay! It is definitely a bucket list place to stay for sure. Our family enjoyed the silo very much, including the beautiful windows at the top for a great view, different floors and bedding options, and great patio out back. The location is the best in Fish Creek--close to Peninsula, shops, the beach, restaurants, etc. Everything is walkable from the silo!
This was our first trip to this property. For the most part it was clean and family friendly. It is a very cool concept to try at least once. It is a little small for my family of 5. We had to utilize the pullout sofa every night and not really use that space. It is a very cool space to relax and look out of the windows. We did find garbage in the can from previous renters. Also found pair of dirty Socks behind door in bathroom. It did smell like cigarette smoke when the dehumidifier turned on. We also had to go purchase toilet paper. Even though it had its issues, all and all was a cute place to stay.
Had a great stay and everything was exactly as advertised!! It was a great experience staying in a silo and something very different for us. Enjoyed the outdoor space and the great location!! Highly recommend!!!
The silo was such a unique experience. Everything was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Communication was great and everything was very well explained. Very convenient location, close to town. Loved our sister weekend here!
Quick communication, unique and historic space, and a fabulous location. Our kids loved the shared yard space.
This was a very cool last minute break location. Very picturesque. Everything went smoothly. There were plenty of towels etc. The decor is a dated but well maintained. The location is perfect right on the edge of the park. And fish creek is a lovely village with loads of food options. Perfect base for visiting the whole peninsula.

Really enjoyable stay in a peaceful yet walkable location to downtown Fish Creek. Accommodations were as pictured and the top floor living room was a great place to hang out as a family.

This is our second year in a row staying at the solo guesthouse. It is such a unique place to stay, inside a converted stone silo. It is cozy and in a perfect location for exploring Door County. It’s pretty basic and dated inside, but the 360 view from the top floor can’t be beat. It’s a block from Julie’s for a fantastic breakfast and Wild Tomato for pizza.
Unique property in a great location We really enjoyed our stay at the silo! Quirky and fun perfect location. Enjoyed coffee in the mornings on the deck and watched an evening storm roll in upstairs in the surround windows. Right next to peninsula state park. 4 adults in our group, bring a hairdryer, kitchen has some basics to cook with (salt, pepper, oils, coffee filters), beds comfortable. We would go back.
Fun unique spot The silo was clean well laid out. It made for a really fun stay. Great location adjacent to the state park, bike rentals, and all of Fish Creek’s offerings.
Nice and clean, unique architecture! Everything works, full kitchen. A TV antenna would be a nice addition. Much recommended!

Great location but couldn’t handle the heat This is a fun, unique venue for a short visit. We were booked for a week but left early due to my allergies and inability to sleep. One window unit on the 4th floor only cooled the 4th floor. High temps and humidity made for a very uncomfortable atmosphere. The dehumidifier ran constantly and we emptied it at least 3 times a day. Musty odors killed my allergies and asthma. I would recommend a cooler temp visit as the location is right at the entrance of Peninsula Park for biking or hiking and easy walking to dining and shops. This location had lovely bedding and art but the carpeting, window treatments and paint could use a little attention.
Great location Pur fanily enjoyed a short trip to fisg creek. The silo location is really ideal, at the entrance to peninsula park and a short walk to the center of Fish Creek.
