Perfectly comfortable stay in a beautiful spot. Even in the cool weather, the lake views were lovely. Seems like it's probably not often rented outside of the summer months - in October it felt like we were the first guests there in a bit. Our kids had a ton of fun playing on the rocky beach and gazing up at the stars at night.

Kelly's house is beautifully situated on Shelburne Bay with stunning views from the entire living area. It was one of the prettiest and coziest places I've ever had my morning coffee! The kitchen was well appointed so great for making dinners at home. We had a great stay.
We had a wonderful long weekend and would definitely recommend this rental and hosts to anyone considering. The location and view can’t be beat. We spent time exploring the shoreline and nearby Shelburne farms and downtown Burlington. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. Beautiful to wake up on the lake and amazing sunset. We had a fire in the fire pit and sat outside. It was lovely.
Perfect! Beautiful lawn and rocky beach right on the water. Perfect location, 3 minutes from a ton of breweries and restaurants/ coffee shops, and 10 mins to downtown Burlington, but still felt remote and quiet at the house. Brought our two toddlers (2 and 4) and found the house perfect for them.
We had such a wonderful time. Kelly was responsive, helpful, and made our stay extremely enjoyable. The property is as advertised, it’s really spectacular.

Stunning view! Picturesque backyard that made you feel right at home. This is one of the main reasons we love Burlington so much! A Beautiful spot right on the bay. The area is very private, quiet and surrounded by friendly neighbors. The house is accommodating with 3 spacious rooms with a lot of charm. Very close to the local spots in Shelburne and a short drive to downtown Burlington. Would definitely stay here again as we already miss Vermont.
The waterfront view of Shelburne Bay and the Adirondacks in the distance is spectacular.

We had a wonderful stay and were enthralled with the lake, which is part of the property. Swimming was terrific and for June the water was quite warm. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the tools and utensils we needed. We will keep this in mind for another visit.
The views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack mountains on the NYS side are stunning. Sunset is special each night. The cabin is not spacious but it is comfy and the lakeside settting is hard to match. With water shoes for rocky bottom, it would be an easy place to swim, paddle, or kayak (rentable in the area - not provided) weather permitting. Nearby glorious hiking, Shelburne farms w/ well maintained trails, Shelburne museum, and the lovely town of Vergennes. Burlington has much to offer for restaurants, concerts, and a lovely waterside park plus all the commercial amenities you could need. ENjoyed just taking the ferry roundtrip across the lake from Charlotte to Essex and back. Things to note: This is not a cabin in the woods - its amidst a small suburban area of nice lakeside homes. The house is hidden behind another small (unoccupied and kinda rundown) cottage on same property. landscaping needs work. friendly neighbors do have a lovely sweet dog - named Strawberry.
This is a great house in a beautiful location and I truly would recommend it to anyone who wants a lakeside experience in Burlington, VT. We were here for our daughter's graduation and it was the perfect place to start and end our days. We had great weather and were able to sit outside and enjoy our front row seats to the lake. Grocery stores were very close by and convenient for stocking up. Communication from the host was prompt and always very kind and helpful. Overall this is a five star location, however, I did decrease ratings for price and "as listed" amenities. There was not a grill, which for us was a bid deal. We prepared all of our meals (6 of us in total) and while the kitchen did have everything we needed, cooking hot dogs/hamburgers or steaks by the lake just wasn't the same. Also, supplies were very low, which is why the cost to rent had a lower review, as for this price point, some extra toilet paper, towels, and trash bags would be nice.
Beautiful home with absolutely stunning views! Easily accessible to Red Rocks, Oakledge, breweries, and Church St, all the essentials when traveling with kids. When you've got a little one that takes midday naps, it's so nice to have that amazing view when you're stuck at home for a chunk of the day. We loved this house!

Kelly’s communication was excellent. The location and house were beautiful. Was a great spot for the middle of the winter after a storm and look forward to visiting in the Summer.

Our family loved our stay at this beautiful home! It is in a great location - close to grocery stores, restaurants, and farms and also had gorgeous views of the lake! The home was extremely cozy. The kitchen is big and the bathroom is tucked away for privacy. The hosts were attentive when we had a question. Our stay was really wonderful.

A wonderful week spent on Lake Champlain, the sunsets were beautiful. It was relaxing holiday, the house has everything you need for your stay with some great walking trials a short drive away.

Great Location and Home, But Cookware and Coffee Maker Issues Hurt Our Stay The house and location were beautiful, and communication was prompt. However, the cookware and utensils were in poor condition, which really affected our 2-night stay. We arrived late planning to cook but found pots and pans worn with food residue, utensils haphazardly disorganized in one drawer with loose/broken knives mixed in (a safety hazard), and the toaster oven dirty with foil and bacon bits. The coffee maker didn’t work and needed descaling, which we discovered the next morning. We ended up snacking the first night and buying premade food the next day. The host offered to replace items, but it would have been after we left, so it didn’t resolve the inconvenience. Responses were polite but lacked urgency and acknowledgment that this, confirmed by the photos I sent, was unacceptable. For this price point, basic standards were not met.
We had a great stay, very comfortable for 4 adults. We loved coffee outside on the shore and watching sailing regatta. We came to do the Causeway bike trail, it was close by and a fabulous ride. Just 15 minutes from downtown Burlington where we had 2 great meals. If you are a foodie, check out Frankie’s. Thank you Kelly!

The house was perfect. The early morning coffee outside sitting at the lake was so peaceful. The views are incredible. We plan to come back again soon.
House was exactly as listed, right on the lake and just a short drive from some shops and restaurants. Strawberry, the neighbor’s dog, was an added bonus. Amenities were lacking: no lawn games, grill, paddleboards, or fire pit supplies. The beds were serviceable but very squeaky and uncomfortable and the provided towels were very tiny. Communication was nonexistent outside of automated messages, we had a simple checkout question that went unanswered for hours and remained unanswered as our checkout time passed. Overall, a great option on the lake if you’re able to bring your own entertainment.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Our family loved waking up by the water an being able to pop into the lake at a whim. The street was quite, and it was easy to get to downtown Burlington and a short drive to other surrounding towns. Fantastic stay!

We have family and friends all over northern Vermont and this place was a perfect location. Many of our long time Burlington family did not even know this was "Hidden" in plain sight right on the lake and practically in Burlington.

This beautiful home along the edge of Shelburne Bay was absolutely perfect for us! Its setting is absolutely gorgeous from sun up to sun down, and we made good use of the Adirondack chairs outdoors, relaxing to the lapping sounds of the water and various birdcalls. Inside was absolutely spotless and well appointed, both in terms of decor and amenities, and the large windows and views to the outdoors are beautiful. We also appreciated being able to do laundry! Kelly was very responsive to us. And the next door neighbor's dog was a special delight!
Amazing lake view on a quiet street. Impeccably furnished and well stocked, making it feel like your home away from home. And for the animal lovers, the neighbor’s dog, Strawberry, is an absolute sweetheart and comes to greet you whenever it has a chance.

Great retreat just outside of Burlington Stayed here as a group of 5 friends for a weekend. The house was in excellent condition. Had everything we needed. Furniture was comfortable for hanging out and we even were able to light a fire in the fireplace given the April temps. (Please note you need to bring your own wood or Duraflame logs) Kitchen was well stocked. Washer and dryer worked well. Beds were a bit hard (but that's a personal subjective assessment). The only suggestion I would have is to be a bit more clear about some of the directions (e.g. it said that the garbage bins would be on the West side of the the main house (lakeside) when the bins were actually on the East side of the secondary house/garage that faced the street). It was directly on the lake, yet an easy drive up route 7 to downtown Burlington (7-10 minutes). Grocery store was right nearby and the water was right in front of us! Great place for a family or a small group.

We loved our 4 day getaway at this wonderful lakefront property. The house was charming and had everything we needed. It was perfectly situated on the lake in a quiet neighborhood (we were there in March so don't know about summer) and so conveniently located to downtown Burlington, supermarkets, or anything else we needed. That said, we were totally content to enjoy the beautiful views both from inside and out. Perfect weekend away.

Great place Excellent location on the lake and close to downtown. Spent two day skiing at Mad river and Bolton Valley then back to the house with plenty of time to head downtown for dinner. So convenient to everything but in a quiet little area over looking the lake . House was as described and very clean . Wife and kids said we should stay again next year
Absolutely 5 star view, beautiful house and location. The light on the lake is a daily joy. Some small things in the house could use some attention but we had a very pleasant stay. Kelly is easy to communicate with and responds quickly. We stayed in the winter and highlights included being cosy by the fireplace, doing morning yoga in the loft facing the lake and walking at nearby Red Rocks Park.

We seek out and enjoy 5-star vacation homes. This beautiful home has many features of a 5-star home that we value. It’s clean, comfortably furnished, has a well-stocked kitchen and the view of the waterfront can’t be beaten. So why do we think it falls short of a 5-star rating? The management company is so tight. It’s the kind of place that provides a washer and dryer but no laundry detergent. A fireplace, but no wood. No kitchen sponges, no Kleenex, and just enough toilet paper. Are there stores nearby to purchase these items or restock them? Sure, but who wants to do this when you are already paying a lot and want to enjoy your vacation? Would we return here? Yep, but we’ll pack these items along with our other necessities.
Kelly’s home was an oasis for us. The setting is so beautiful, private and peaceful. Her home is immaculate and comfortable with everything you could need. Very well located and beautiful view. Wish it were spring or summer but the lake is still magical in a snowfall.

The beach house is cosy, beautifully decorated, well equipped and super clean. It has a superb view over Shelburne Bay, with a private access to the lake. It’s also very well located in a quiet area, with close access to multiple supermarkets and restaurants. Kelly’s instructions were clear and easy, and make the check-in/check-out processes pretty smooth I highly recommend this beach house, in cold and warm weather.
