Seventeen Pines is a beautifully reimagined Catskills hunting cabin set on 17 private acres along a private mountain road in Roscoe. Steeped in rustic history but fully renovated with a bright and modern design, this retreat strikes a rare balance between rugged character and refined comfort, making it an ideal escape for couples, small families, or a duo of friends looking to disconnect and explore one of the most authentic corners of the Catskills.

Arrive to a covered front porch with a classic swing, the kind of spot that makes it easy to linger over morning coffee or an afternoon book. Step inside and the cabin opens up beautifully, with vaulted ceilings punctuated by skylights that flood the living space with natural light throughout the day. The open-concept main floor brings together a living room, dining area, and well-equipped kitchen in one warm, cohesive space that feels both casual and considered, with a mid-century statement fireplace.

The main floor bedroom offers a queen size bed and easy access to the bathroom, finished in a clean, minimalist style that complements the cabin's overall aesthetic. Upstairs, the loft has been fashioned into a stylish and spacious second bedroom, complete with a queen bed and a work-friendly desk, ideal for remote workers. Skylights above make this an especially inviting space, bright and airy with treetop views overhead.

Outside, the property opens onto a long, rolling lawn that rolls down toward a fire pit and the wooded hillside below, with 17 acres of Catskills landscape stretching out around you. The back porch is set up for easy outdoor dining and grilling. Whether you are starting your morning on the front porch swing, spending an afternoon around the fire pit, or grilling dinner as the light fades over the hillside, the outdoor spaces at Seventeen Pines feel genuinely restorative.

Located in the Western Catskills near the legendary fly fishing waters of the Beaverkill and Willowemoc rivers, Seventeen Pines puts guests within easy reach of some of the most celebrated trout streams in the country. The area surrounding Roscoe and Livingston Manor has quietly grown into one of the most compelling food and drink destinations in the Catskills, with standout restaurants, craft breweries, and creative small businesses drawing visitors who want more than just a hike. Seventeen Pines offers the space, the setting, and the location to do it all.

“We loved our stay at the cabin. The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The property is beautiful and peaceful. You are in a very private setting yet close to shops, restaurants, markets and, most importantly, some of the best fly fishing in the country!”

“Absolutely lovely cabin! Private and well-appointed. We stayed for nearly a month and were quite sad to pack up and leave at the end. Hosts were responsive and attentive.”
