The living space was bigger than it seemed, which was nice! The floors were pretty dirty upon arrival so we had to do a sweeping before hand for our kids. The TV’s had to be reconnected to the WiFi each time we turned them on, and the TV’s in the bedrooms were extremely slow. Otherwise, the house was just as described! Very cozy and not too far from golf cart rentals or the beach.

This was by far one of our favorite houses we have stayed at all summer we will definitely be renting out again ! From communication to amenities our stay was overall wonderful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Port Aransas! The location was perfect—centrally located and close to everything we wanted to do during our trip. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, with quick responses and helpful information whenever needed. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for for a relaxing weekend getaway. The only area that could use some improvement would be the water pressure in the bathrooms. It takes quite a while to rinse shampoo and conditioner out of your hair, especially if you have long hair. Other than that minor issue, everything was fantastic. We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciate you sharing your beautiful home with us. We would absolutely stay here again!

We enjoyed this beach house. It is close to a beach access road- a short drive. The layout of the house was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids. We enjoyed the community pool and the private gas fireplace.

The place was nice, however trying to get an early check in was not so great or a late check out. When we arrived the bedding had pee stains and the smell of urine on the bunk beds was not so great. I understand the check in and check out was probably not so easy to accommodate, but at the end of the day facts are facts. The bedding put a bad taste in our mouths, and was hoping that they would accommodate that.

We had a great stay, beach and golf cart rentals are close, shops and food are all in a golf carts drive. Very clean home, very accommodating for large family. Outdoor shower was so handy for washing off sand after the beach. We had plenty of parking for our large trucks and corn hole and outdoor seating was fun for the family. The host was also easy to communicate with when needed after we left behind a speaker and they helped greatly, kindly, and extremely fast to get it back to us. Very proactive in making sure our stay was as we expected!

Hosts were amazing start to finish and quick to respond. The house looks exactly like the pictures. House was super clean! Everyone felt right at home beds and pillows were amazing! Golf cart recommendations made our trip that much better and easier to access a 6 seater for cheaper price. 10/10 will definitely be coming back!

Cool lively location with plenty of stores nearby. About a 4 minute drive to the beach which you can completely drive on. Outside was a huge plus and such a vibe at night. 3/4 rooms have patio access which was convenient. No seasonings lol - definitely bring your own! Shower and restroom outside was super convenient. Very responsive hosts.

We stayed in the sea gypsy beach house and it was great. The house was a good size, the kitchen was stocked with plenty of cooking supplies like pots and pans etc. well stocked with toilet paper too! The location was perfect we were a short cart ride to the beach, and a few minutes from the restaurants/ shopping in Port A. Even having the AC at 72 for the lowest degree we could set it to the house stayed nice and cool. The ceiling fans were an added bonus as well as the cute downstairs patio entertaining area. I would 100% stay with a sand key rental in the future! We were super pleased with our stay😊

My family had a great vacation! The house was extremely comfortable for our large group. Not only was the sleeping arrangements perfect but a lot of thought was put into the seating for large families. The den, living room, and dining area were cozy and spacious. I definitely recommend this rental for large groups!

I really wanted to give a 5 star review. From the moment we arrived, spaghetti sauce in the walls, bathing suit liners stuck to the bed, food and underwear under bunks and no ac. When I called about the ac I was treated like I was bothering someone. They were quick to respond but sent someone out that knew nothing about the issue. House was said to be clean, floors filthy, walls filthy and fleas. We were also told hand soap, shampoo and conditioner was provided. No soap in bathrooms and only one small bar in the kitchen. Had the potential to be a great rental so I am sad to see it this way. Also sad that this only gets published if it’s approved by you. Didn’t report other issues after AC because of that experience

We had an amazing stay!! We were golf cart distance to the beautiful beach. The place was so clean and beautifully decorated. Everything was in working order and high quality. We had plenty of linens for our stay. Short distance to restaurants and activities. We will def be back!

Had a good experience nothing was lacking. Could use some more paper towels and other supplies for the price but other than that great location and great house.

My friends and I absolutely loved this location, it’s the perfect distance from the beach and has plenty of room for parking and guests. The kitchen had just about everything we needed and was well organized. If i ever end up back in port A I would happily stay here again!

Great week We were very impressed with everything. Only a couple of things that could be improved. The A/C was struggling a bit, but we all slept great so not that big of an issue. Also the fridge could not evenly cool everything, but again not a deal breaker. The street was busy and some loud music woke us up in the middle of the night a couple of times. The garbage dump area was over flowing and gross with trash everywhere, but again, just being picky. Overall we would highly recommend and stay there again.

Good but very bad We loved the size and lay out of home. Bedrooms worked well for our family. However on day 2 we started noticing fleas on us in the house. They were also horrible outside in patio and under the house. We were unable to utilize patio space, fire pit, under house area. We removed all blankets and pillows from living room to another room to keep them at bay. Spoke with property manager who did send someone out; however, it made no difference. Overall disappointed that we couldn’t enjoy our time spent in the house and worried about bringing them home with us! While we loved the house it’s not likely we’d return. Recommend a major pest treatment before next renter.

Good space and location The space was really nice and had some good amenities. Great location and space for my friends and I. However, we’re pretty sure the place might have had some sort of bug as a lot of got bitten up. Check in process was also weird as we had to contact them to get access details and that was a process as it took them a long time to answer. VRBO support was no help and actually gave us a number that tried to scam us into paying more money. When I asked the property management company they said that wasn’t them. Be warned! That part had nothing to do with the property manager.

Great Rental! Loved the property, very close to everything and quick easy access to beach! Plenty of space for parking and space to hang out inside and outside with friends and family. Will definitely book again.

Great Stay This was a great stay! The property was awesome. Stayed with my family (4 kids 10 and under) and my parents. The layout and location worked well for us. We had a plastic outdoor chair break during our stay and the property managers changed it out right away. Would stay again in a heart beat!

Perfect for a large group with kids! Perfect for a large family with kids! The house is decorated beautifully in a peaceful and well done beach theme. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and need’s a variety of utensils and pots and pans. We were supplied with all we needed to get started and the kids had games for our rainy days. The downstairs was a great hang out place. The beds were super comfy but be sure to take your sound machine for the traffic noise behind the house in 11th.

Close to everything Place is listed just as is clean cozy beds we’re comfortable. Only complaint was the fridge . Fridge needs to be loaded a certain way and can’t be overloaded or won’t cool effectively. That was annoying. I feel for such a nice place the refrigerator should be able to keep up with something as simple as stocking the fridge with food and drinks other than that place was awesome .

Family vacay Loved staying here! The open concept was great for all 8 of us. Plenty of space and even shaded area for hanging outdoors. Super close to the beach!!

Great property! Very open floor plan…great for entertaining and playing games in large groups. We stayed here with friends and family. Had lots of room to entertain, play games, etc. Patio area was nice and spacious allowing a large group of us to enjoy drinks and conversation around the fire pit,

Little Family vacation We love the house, very clean, spacious, nice decor, we really enjoy our stay, we can wait for our next time!

Cute place The property was nice. But we were supplied with one towel and one wash rag per person for a 4 night 5 day stay. No laundry soap, not even a small amount. Not even a small amount of trash bags, coffee filters. No starter shampoo or conditioner and a tiny amount of hand soap. No Beach towels. I own short term rentals and I provide at least small amounts to get started.

Overall it was good stay However, we did get locked out when I guess the batteries died in our front door lock. Left office a message Friday at 5:45pm and had to call back Saturday morning because I didn't hear back. Luckily, we had one f the windows unlocked. I hate to pay that much and have problems dealing with things like this.

Last summer hoorah! The listing was perfect for our two families with 7 total kids under 8. We had an extra room to let the toddler sleep in silence. The couch had crumbs from the previous stay, one fan didn’t work, the toilet paper holder fell off and the blinds wouldn’t go down all the way in one bedroom but overall the stay was perfect for a family with kids. The back seating area was perfect. Close enough to the beach a golf cart rental was great.

Spacious We loved all the room and the kitchen had everything we needed. Everyone loved how comfortable all of the beds were!

Vacay at PA Stay was good. Did not like bedrooms facing busy street. Lots of noise. Also, did not like that there were no closets or dressers in the bedrooms. Nowhere to put clothes. Also, too bright in bedrooms. Needed curtains.

Great getaway Overall, the property is really nice and so well decorated. The backyard fire pit is especially to relax in the evening. The bedrooms were smaller than were pictured and it was difficult to store all our clothes. I think the owners should include more garbage bags as there were only 2 and we took out lots of garbage in order to keep the place clean. Also, providing dish soap and some towels in the kitchen would help enhance the stay as I have had that at many other properties. Overall it was a lovely place and I would recommend.

Perfect place for multiple couples! Our stay consisted of all adults -- 3 couples plus a couple single people. The place was PERFECT for our group! Plenty of parking, plenty of restrooms, roomy kitchen and common areas. Everyone in our group was very pleased. Very easy drive down to our spot on the beach, and also very close to town.

Sea Gypsy Property was as listed. It had everything we needed for a family trip for grandparents and their children/grandchildren. Very clean with a great outdoor area.

Beautiful home We very much enjoyed our stay. There were two families, 5 kid’s total and it was perfect. Beautiful decor and well furnished. I did call the property management company back with a question that was not resolved so not complete confidence there but the home itself was lovely and clean. The house/location... was easy to get a golf cart and get to the beach and around Pirt A easily.

Texas Trip The property was very nice and our stay was very enjoyable. I would definitely stay again. Despite the polar vortex hitting while we were there, the management/owners were great. They checked on us and brought supplies. After heat and water returned, they let us stay extra days due to weather. We appreciate the owners and recommend this property.

Halloween weekend It was a wonderful stay! Perfect stay for 10 people. It was sparkling clean and new. Had fun grilling with family and doing smores. Very close to the beach. The location wasn’t crowded. Great place to go to with kids

Weekend getaway We enjoyed our stay at the Sea Gypsy! It looked just as it did online and we had plenty of room for our family. I think it would help if there had been a ceiling fan in the room where the bunk beds were. There were extra stand up fans in the home to help, but some of the ceiling fans when on high don’t spin fast when we though it was on high. Overall the house met all our needs and we will continue to book through VRBO or use Sand Key Realty for our future weekend getaways.

Great Had a great stay

Wonderful weekend getaway Property was very comfortable and well stocked for cooking. Rooms are smaller than we expected. Barely enough room to put a pack n play. The family area, dining area outdoors was all very comfortable and accommodating for families.

Great place/great location! We enjoyed our long weekend at the beach and found this house to be a fantastic place to stay. We had four adults and 4 (older) teenagers. The kitchen supplies were well stocked, and we needed them to be because we wanted to cook at home. The one thing that bothered me was the only soap in the place was ONE tiny 3" bar of soap in the kitchen. Yes, in the middle of a pandemic, there was no way to clean our hands in the bathrooms when we arrived. And for the price per night (we paid high season rates), I was upset with this and with the fact that there were only a handful of trash bags and minimal toilet paper and one roll of paper towels. For the cost per night, we expected some of these necessities to be covered.

Great Stay in Port A! Perfect size for our family of 5 adults and two grandchildren ages 5 and 6. The house is well decorated, warm , and well kept. Off 11th street it is conveniently located to everything. We will definitely stay here again next year (we do an annual family vacation).

Great property! The home was as pictured. Plenty of space, clean and comfortable! The location was perfect and the outdoor space made for some epic family cornhole challenges! All agreed... we would stay there again.

Fun time We had a great trip. Beautiful home, clean and well stocked. Not walking distance with beach gear to beach. You need a beach cart or golf cart. Water was great and everyone kept their distance.

Great property! Ten members of our family stayed here 4 nights for a Covid social distancing get-away. It was perfect! Cooked all of our meals here, 2 miles to the beach, made s’mores and had lots of fun.

Great weekend getaway spot Had a great stay at the Sea Gypsy. The house was clean, nicely decorated and perfect for two families (the kids loved the bunk room). It’s not an ideal walking distance to the beach if you are bringing chairs, food etc, so a golf cart or car are key.

Girls getaway Very nice clean place. No plastic ware to take to the beach so wouldn't hurt to mention that. Although material handed to us said TV was ready to go, it took us a while to get it running. Batteries were low on the one of the remote. We bought and replaced ourselves. Should be directions on tv remotes by the tv.

Our Annual Port A Bar Crawl Our group comes down every January for a bar crawl. We very much enjoyed staying at Sea Gypsy. Beautifully decorated! They have a set of canisters in the kitchen that I would love to have!

Great place for 6 adults and 4 kids Great location to quickly drive to the beach. The house is fairly new and had everything we needed to cook and be comfortable. The family room was perfect. My biggest complaint would be that the AC thermostat was locked so it wouldn't go below 72. There were fans in the rooms though so that helped.

Beautiful This is an amazing property and we will be back. Suggestions: 1 - Tighten up the entry process...check in is at 4, yet the office closes at 4 on Sundays. The office personnel are great, but they weren't aware that your VRBO listing says they're open till 6 during the summers. Since we weren't getting there till 5, the office person gave me the code. That code didn't work, and by the time I called to let them know, the office had closed. I had to leave a message with a service who had no phone numbers to call. I then called again 20 minutes later, and the answering service told me the same thing. Quickly after that, the office person did call me with another code. 2 - why is it necessary to 'check in' at the realty office, since the office person was able to give me the code? I never did go to the office. 3 - leave some kitchen towels. There was one. 4 - is it possible to leave more bath towels? The listing said one per person, but it felt like we had to keep washing them and somebody was always waiting for a towel to dry before they could take a shower. Otherwise, we couldn't be happier. It's a beautiful property!

Gypsy Sea Family Fun Great house for family of 6 adults and 2 small children. Supplied with everything you would need in a kitchen. Be sure to take your own showering essentials. A/C worked great. Would definitely stay here again. Renting a golf cart helped a lot getting to beach and back. Only negative was the community pool was pretty dirty.

Lovely home for a stay in Port Aransas! This is a beautiful home--stayed there once before--and a great place for a few days when you have a larger family. The bunk beds came in handy with our group and we loved the kitchen--cooked dinner every night. Enjoyed using the fire pit in the evenings. Thank you for a wonderful holiday stay!
