The location cannot be beat! This home is directly on the beach with a private boardwalk to the sand. That was the best part of the trip. The inside of the house was clean and well kept. There were several sets of sliding doors leading outside, none of the doors locks worked, so there was simply a piece of wood wedged between the sliding doors and stationary door so that I would not slide open. In one room the wood was actually just a stick. The tracks on those doors were disgustingly filthy. There is also a nice screened in dining room, that area was also very dirty. The boardwalk appeared fairly new however there were at least 6/7 rotten boards that were every hazardous. The under part of the home was a mess, debris everywhere, there has been no attention paid to keeping this space nice or clean in any way. The outside siding was rotting and pealing off all around the balcony areas, and was an eyesore. The kitchen was extremely disorganized and could definitely use some new pots and pans. We would not rent this home again.
We absolutely loved this home! Our favorite things about this home was that it was one level & very spacious, large kitchen with lots of counter space and the private boardwalk that leads to the beach was perfect! We are already thinking of booking again for next years family vacation! And Coastal Vacations quick response to questions and anything in general was great!
This home was perfect for our family! We loved the one level, spacious layout of this home, the large kitchen with lots of counter space & beautiful ocean views. The private boardwalk out to the beach was the perfect bonus. We’ve stayed at many beach homes and this one is without a doubt one of our favorites. To top it off, the ease of communication and courteousness of the staff at Coastal View Vacations was superb. We are already considering booking this home again for next years family vacation!
Great space for family gathering...the sloping deck walkway with only one set of stairs at the end made beach access easier for my parents and toddler grandchild. We enjoyed the open kitchen/dining/den space with ample seating. Would definitely stay here again!
The home was spotless when we arrived. The bedrooms are all on one floor, which we loved, and the rooms are very spacious. The layout of the entire home is perfect with the living room and kitchen area right in the middle. The deck can be accessed directly from 2 of the rooms and the living room. Even with temperatures around 95 all week, if we weren't on the beach we were all out on the deck enjoying the view. The boardwalk stretches all the way to the beach and makes it so easy to carry tents, chairs, and coolers without having to fight the sand the whole way. The property managers are outstanding and contacted us before we arrived to introduce themselves. I can't recommend this home enough. We will be back!
This is our second year renting Sawgrass Pointe. We love the location. It's the right size for our family. Our adult children like having their own bedroom and bathroom. The house is very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed, whether we were cooking or storing leftovers. We like that there is a DG a few minutes away because we tend to forget something when packing. The guys enjoyed a round of golf in Orange Beach and then swimming at the pool while my daughter and I enjoyed the beach. I'm glad we have these options. We have enjoyed eating at Lambert's, Lulu's and Nonna's pizza. The Grandma pizza reminded me of a slice I had in Naples, Italy. Tasted very authentic. Coastal View is easy to book with and always available if needed.
It is a perfect place for our multi-generational family. There is a private boardwalk directly from the house to the beach.The house is spacious,and accommodates our every need.
Family of 8, ages 19 to 77, one in a wheelchair. Host gets a 10 from us, as well as the property manager.Needless to say,the beach is beautiful.
Everything was fine about the house EXCEPT the carpet in the bedrooms most notably the Master Bedroom and one other had extensive stains from pet excrement. The house should never have been put on the market under this condition , as it is certainly a health problem. The carpet needs replacing before renting it again!

The only thing I I would change is making one of the sofas a fold out bed as our kids have outgrown the bunk beds.

Our vacation at Sawgrass Pointe was wonderful!! The house was beautiful and VERY clean! The property manager communicated well with us and let us know as soon as the house was ready so we were able to get in an hour earlier than anticipated. The house is very spacious and is perfect for two families. Bonus that its all on one level!! We had 2 families with a total of 4 adults, 4 teens and 2 kids and we never once felt like we were on top of each other or that we needed more room. The kitchen was well stocked with most anything you could need to cook with. We loved the screened in porch for morning coffee! Being directly on the beach is so nice and convenient. The only recommendations I could make would be to add a ceiling fan to the screened in porch and maybe a mattress topper for the master bed. Other than those 2 small things everything was perfect and we would definitely stay here again!
Sawgrass Pointe was everything we hoped it would be. The house is right on the beach, with a private boardwalk. The layout is nice...two bedrooms on each side with a nice size den and kitchen in the middle. We loved the screened in back porch that allowed us to drink our coffee in the morning and enjoy the water. The kitchen is well stocked. There was a closet under the house with beach/water toys. Every bedroom had a tv and that was nice for the kids. The beds were comfortable, but they are a little bit on the firm side. There are some very steep steps that have to be taken to get into the house from the carport, which might be a problem for older people or someone with mobility issues. We had a few minor issues that were addressed immediately. We liked that the rental company had someone come take the trash cans out to the street and bring them back after they had been emptied. My only complaints would be that the bed sheets were really cheap Walmart sheets and not very comfortable, and I feel like at least one or two extra sets of towels would’ve been nice. There was one set of towels per person. Some of us girls needed an extra towel for wet hair. Also we were told not to use the towels for makeup removal or get stains on them, but there were no dark towels to use for makeup. It was a great place to vacation with our family.
My family loved this house!! We were about to all stay together, eat together , cook together. Was clean , ever equipped with anything you may need. We will book again!

Everything was excellent. We loved the location on the beach and loved the screened in three seasons room. Communication from property management and staff was outstanding the home was clean and well appointed. We absolutely hope to be back next year.

We were able to get all adult kids together and each had their own room. Loved how close we were the beach, pools, and pickleball courts. The kids loved it and hope to come back again next year. The house had everything we needed from pots and pans to the gorgeous views. We had a wonderful time.
We loved this beach house!! It was so clean and organized. The screen porch and decks on each side were awesome!! The view from the decks and bedrooms were amazing! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in Fort Morgan.

This was our favorite house in Fort Morgan so far. Everyone had their own space, bedroom and bath. The den-kitchen area was very spacious. The screened in porch was a plus and the boardwalk to the beach was convenient. We hope to stay here again. Jen, the manager of the house was very helpful as well.

Our stay at Sawgrass Pointe was outstanding! The property was exactly as described and photographed in the listing. The split floor plan was excellent, and the house was clean and well-furnished. Beyond the stellar beach views this house provides, the main things that attracted us to this particular property were the quiet location and the single-story house. Many other comparable vacation rentals are multi-level, which would have been a safety concern for our child with developmental delays. It's nice and flat besides the stairs to get into the house. The property management team was super responsive via text when we had some questions upon arriving. The home sits in a charming, well-maintained, and quiet community. We ordered carry-out several times from Tacky Jack's 2 and the Sassy Bass. Delicious food and only a few minutes drive from the property. By far the most quiet and peaceful beach vacation we've ever had. I highly recommend Sawgrass Pointe for your next family vacation or getaway! We would absolutely stay there again!
Our family vacation was amazing, but I do have a few suggestions for improvement. First, the beds were not completely made. They put on the fitted sheet but not top sheet, so you were up against the comforter. When we arrived, there was a huge cockroach on the kitchen counter and one on the kitchen floor so I was a little nervous about bugs. Also, I would recommend more bathroom towels. In the bedroom that sleep 4, the bathroom only had two bath towels. Overall, we had a blast and the views are breath taking.
I’m super picky on cleanliness and that is why we picked this place. This pictures show a nice clean well kept house and it truly is. The house is clean!!! I love the extra touches they have done to make it a comfortable stay, especially the well stocked kitchen, some beach toys. The boardwalk to the beach is an added bonus that not all homes have there. The house layout is great for two families. I do not usually stay places twice but I could see coming back with my sister’s family. Only suggestion would be to add a foam topper to the beds, otherwise you can’t go wrong. Book now!!!
