Beachwalk Family Vacation Great area for families. Great host. Pleanty of room for 8 adults and 8 kids under 10

Perfect home for group The house was in the best location with the Central Park behind it. The house was bright and airy with lots of windows. The layout was great for our large friend group with kids ages 5-15. The garage was stocked with beach chairs, wagons, sand toys, umbrellas, bikes, scooters, balls, and more for a great beach day. The golf cart was an absolute hit with the kids and a great help in hauling items to the beach or for quick bathroom runs from the beach. The kitchen was stocked so well, with all the necessities for cooking. We cooked three meals a day in there for 17 and found everything we needed! The amount of sleeping available was great. It was a plus to have a bathroom for each of the bedrooms. While the house was very clean and had a great layout and location and was stocked well, it could use a few updates such as the half bath. The outside and upper balconies could really use a good power washing as there is lots of leaves and dirt/cobwebs. None of this affected the good time we had at this home!

Great Vacation Home We enjoyed a wonderful family vacation at Sanctuary. Kids enjoyed the spacious inside and little park across the street! Communication was great with host and no problems all week! House was clean and kitchen well furnished. Great week!

Great Home but with Dangerous Flaw Our extended family of 11 enjoyed the comfortable, spacious home to celebrate Easter and an 80th birthday. The home was clean, property manager exceptionally professional and responsive, and perfect for our needs but for the sunken family room. Stepping from the living room or kitchen into the family room requires a descent of 9.75" which is significantly greater than code requirements (< 7.75"). Multiple members of our party stumbled while stepping into the family room. Unfortunately, my septuagenarian mother fell and injured her head and wrist. Had we been aware of the layout, we may have opted not to make this reservation. We later discovered in a closet a gate which presumably could be used to help make the step down more obvious and prevented injury.

Terrific location, and a nice spacious house, but many problems with the house: filthy floors, with oily black dirt all over leaving black stains on our white socks, a wad of hair in one of the showers, one shower broken and out of order, no batteries in multiple remotes, broken stove burner, broken ice dispenser, no top sheet on master bed, Teflon cookware scratched up, so cancer risk, balcony floors in dire need of repair, lightbulbs missing or burnt out in multiple bathrooms.

This is a family friendly property in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of amenities. I’d recommend this place for people with younger children as there are a variety of activities within a short walking distance. Some drawbacks: The communication with the property management was clunky and they didn’t follow through on correcting issues that were brought to their attention until after having to ask multiple times. When we arrived, we got the property about half an hr later than what was listed due to cleaning crew stating it took longer than expected. Upon arrival, outside trash was overflowing, and there was no house manual/welcome letter with resort wristbands that were needed to access the property’s amenities. When we reached out to the property managers regarding the trash 4 times over the course of multiple days, they said they would come get it, but didn’t get it until Wednesday evening (we arrived Sunday). When we reported that we needed the resort wristbands, they told us they would bring them but then had to ask two more times and waited until Tuesday to get them. There is also a dangerous drop step in the living room that needs to be blocked off. We had multiple guests miss it upon arrival and fall. One positive: There was a broken shower head in the primary bathroom that we reported and they did credit us for not being able to use that shower.

We had two families stay here with kids. It was thr perfect location to catch up with family and for our kids to make some amazing memories. The amenities of the house & community both are superb! We will definitely be coming back again.

Lovely Spot We loved our stay here, especially the golf cart, which made things easy. There was a learning curve with figuring out how to maximize the resort ammenities, but we got there. The place has lots of little wierd steps and could use more railings and grab bars, but we made it through the week without any mishaps.

Beachwalk is the best You can’t go wrong booking within Beachwalk Resort. It’s charming and quaint and straight out of a storybook. This property is in an ideal location between two parks, a very short walk to the pool and amenities, and a short drive on the provided golf cart to the beach access. We loved all of the beach chairs, bikes, and outdoor games provided. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed. We had to give 4 stars for a couple reasons. There is a large (not up to code) sunk in family room right off the kitchen. It’s very awkward. We had two people actually fall on the step which was scary. This alone will most likely keep us from renting here again. Also, the house and furnishings are in need of some updates and deep cleaning. For instance, the garage is filthy- everything just needs to be hosed off and organized. All of the outdoor spaces are lovely but the cushions were so dirty we didn’t use those areas. The property manager took care of issues quickly- after a second contact attempt. There were two inoperable outdoor grills and a new one was sent over. One of the burners on the stove didn’t work and it was checked but couldn’t be fixed. One shower head didn’t work and another had barely any flow. Lots of light bulbs need to be replaced. Just little things which add up over a stay. Overall I would say choose this place for its location which is perfect.
