A little tired and dated but clean and comfortable - good budget option Positive: Clean and comfortable. A little tired/dated but perfectly OK. I enjoyed the breakfast. Staff were very pleasant. Had trouble parking in the hotel, but no problem parking just down the road. A good budget option for Saltburn.

Ein sehr offenes, angenehmes Haus mit Pub Positive: Das Haus ist nicht mehr das neuste, allerdings hat es einen tollen Charme, der mir sehr gefallen hat. Das Frühstück war einfach, aber gut. Das Rührei wurde frisch gebraten.

If you specifically want Saltburn choices seem limited Negative: I appreciate the owners situation. Large tired establishment costly to run and costly to invest in. I am sure the owner has to charge these prices to make ends meet but that doesn't result in a good deal for the customer. If it was £50 per night ok but at £70ish I am looking for a some more valued surroundings

more than adequate Positive: Saltburn House Hotel is a bit shabby from outside. The masonry needs a lick of paint. The gardens are well kept and the room was adequate. Slightly annoying was that the bedside light switch was out of reach when in bed. The carpets throughout were in "as new" condition. The huge plus was the friendliness of the clients and staff. I was made to feel very welcome as a solo traveller. I only managed to have one breakfast and the "full english" was very good. Negative: nothing really

Attrocius like refuge hotel Negative: I was told breakfast would be left out but this did not happen. I was charged for something I did not receive I require refund

Terrible customer service. Positive: The hotel cancelled the booking a few hours before I arrived. I attempted to contact the hotel but all booking are via a third party company ‘host and stay’. I managed to get in contact with an AI bot but it cut me off when I wanted to speak with a human. Negative: The hotel booking system.

Positive: Right on the seafront. I had single room with sea view. Comfortable. Bar area however didn't use this. Good sized TV, had to request the remote control.. Well equipped room, clean. En suite with shower. Cooked breakfast, the black pudding was delicious, lovely Breakfast Staff. I didn't see a car park for this hotel however managed to find off street parking. Lovely peace garden opposite. Loved the history of the place and that it had previously been a convalsence hospital. Appears to be managed externally and I found the addition form filling a bit tedious when I had already booked through booking.com Negative: Unfortunately the cleaning staff had accessed the room before the check out time of 10am and left the door visibly open. My handbag, purse, mobile phone and rucksack were in the room which I had left locked whilst I went for breakfast. I have raised this breach in security.

Very good value for money, run by lovely locals Positive: The location of this property is fantastic, and in parts overlook the seaside. Access to shops was easy, within 5 minutes walk, and the staff were very friendly. Negative: It's difficult to challenge the decor for the price paid. The room was a little run down and aging, the bed especially bouncey/springy. I found the size of the single-bed room fine, but can imagine some might find it small.

Positive: The friendly breakfast staff, the lovely reception guy. Negative: Nothing, was all quaunt and sweet.

Great place to stay in Saltburn Positive: Breakfast was OK. I'm not a real fan of full English breakfast, as I prefer other things like porridge, so it was OK. Negative: The fact that there was no real parking for guests. I was exceedingly fortunate that the staff allowed me to park in just about the only spot available. I use a stick to walk so that was a real plus.

Positive: An ideal base for a break. Comfortable and very clean. Nice breakfast served by friendly staff.

Staff were helpful somtimes when I ask for help brekfast was ok Positive: Location was good ask few people how to find it i did not have the address. Not see staff at all in evening I not sure about the WiFi was forgot to put it in not used it basic hotel room clean comfy. Negative: Windows,other 1 only open a bit, other one did not open !?like have windows open as I was hot. No Control for the . Shower was very hard to turn to not use it until last min last day .

Once I got there everything was fine.Before I went there was confused messaging as mentioned above. Positive: Breakfast was fine,the staff were helpful.The room was comfortable. Negative: The company who owned the hotel Host and Stay sent misleading emails which suggested I needed to self check in with a key code.This was completely incorrect.They did correct it when I phoned and texted them.

Ok for the night as we were out most of the time. Positive: Staff were friendly although a little unorganised (they couldn't find one of our room keys at first). The breakfast was nice although there was a missing item on one of the breakfast, but this was replaced really quickly. Negative: The rooms were clean and the bed was comfy, although felt a little rickety but the rooms were very tired, black mould in the shower, Kettle missing out of one room, shower pole to hold hold the shower head up broken in one room, one room had no bulb in its light fitting of the main light so could be used and also in this room the light above the sink didn't work either. We were told on arrival the bar would stay open as long as people were using it, when we came back to the hotel at around 5:30pm there was a private party in the bar so we couldn't use it and this is not we had been told. Tricky to find any staff, they were around but the place is full of unused rooms that are full of furniture etc that we just couldn't find them.

Positive: The staff, v helpful and friendly. The dining room and the bar, such a grand scale The bed was v comfy, the shower good. The tv was enormous, a v good screen and Smart Negative: The bathroom was v tired, no hooks or shelves There was no fruit or Yoghurt at breakfast. The bread was ordinary sliced, no great selection

Absolutely loved it, fab location and will definitely be staying again!!! Thank you so much 😊 Positive: Friendly, approachable staff. Very clean and an exceptional full English breakfast! Nothing was any trouble and the view from my room- perfect!! Negative: Heard someone saying,as we went out our first evening, a few things were dated, but they kinda added to the charm! Also know the recent changes to outside parking were a problem for you as a hotel, it took us a while to find somewhere, after asking at the desk- out of your control though and know you're 'on it'

I didn’t stay the night as couldn’t get parked up and found the staff unhelpful. Negative: The postcode provided sent me to the wrong place. The advertisement stated.onsite private parking, which on arrival I was told there wasn’t any it was just on street parking for use by general public. There was no signage to show where the reception desk or check in was. The whole building is run down and the staff member was arrogant.

A pretty dated hotel, my room single was comfortable. There could have been more staff on at breakfa Positive: Free parking, which is a great plus in the area. Negative: I had a single room, which was ample, the quilt on the bed was too small. Breakfast was a shambles, I had to find the chef to order my breakfast, between arriving for breakfast it was half an hour before it arrived, when I placed my order there were only two people in the restaurant. When it did arrive it was excellent quality.

Some negatives sadly Positive: The location, breakfast Negative: No one to greet. Nowhere to park on site. The room was shabby eg. The window wouldn't stay open, the lock on the entry door was damaged, the floor of the bathroom was dirty, there was no chair to sit on, no hooks in the bathroom to hang a towel, the TV wouldn't allow viewing of mainstream TV, a plumber was waiting at the door to my room when I arrived to replace part of the shower, the ceiling light in the bathroom had a damp stain around it which was a little concerning, the emergency bell pull was broken...you would have to stand on a stool to reach it, the stair landing light continually flickered and needed replacing. Other than that all was satisfactory although I wouldn't recommend it to anyone as a result.

Good breakfast Positive: The full English breakfast was very good and the breakfast room with high ceiling is an impressive room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Negative: Hotel has a tired feel and the reception area is not very welcoming. My room was quite compact and no frills.
