The house is very good for taking pictures. Not for a family that cooks. There are no pots and pans. The oven doesn't work. The dishes smell rotten. We wash what we use by hand. The neighbors are friendly and take care of everything we do. We have no privacy. They use the trash can, which means we have no place for them. They gather around the house and look inside to see what we are doing. No privacy. Paying dearly for no privacy. For a family that doesn't care about what's going on around them and eats pizza, that's fine.

Very clean, modern and new house that was very accommodating to our stay. Pool was cleaned regularly, bathrooms had packages of shower essentials, laundry pods, dishwater soap ect. Very nice neighborhood and a short walk from the water. I would absolutely love to stay here again! 10/10

We really enjoyed our stay at the Laughing Mermaid. It was in a great neighborhood, clean, well maintained and was the description and pictures were all very accurate. We hope we can stay there again!
Sarah, was a pleasure to host! The place was mostly clean, and tidy, with some minor issues, such as master bath had a yellow stain on countertop, and cabinet door in master bath; hinge not working properly. I think for the money, they should provide COFFEE FILTERS, etc.. They DO provide a coffee pot, but NO filters for it at all! Seems strange they would not provide something necessary, and at minimal cost; such as a coffee filters for the coffee pot they provide. We ended up using a paper towel for our morning coffee! When asked, I was told, "Coffee filters are not on list of items provided, but our 5 star rating is important to us, so be sure to leave us a 5 star rating! " They do provide tiny hotel packages, with a very small bar of soap, dishwasher pods, and laundry pods for the kitchen, and similar packs with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion in bathrooms. They are no replenishments of any of the very small items provided. So expect to bring your own, or be prepared to go purchase these items.
