We loved it! The porch is half the size of the property and we made the most of it with the beautiful weather and wind we had during our stay. The property grounds overall were super cute and very quiet. It feels like its own little neighborhood. Everything was well kept and quiet - which was amazing since we are across the street from The Salty Dog. Location was great for being able to walk almost balmy where in town in under 15 minutes. Our two Terriers felt right at home and really enjoyed winding able to enjoy the outdoors while still being contained safely in our view. The unit is well maintained and clean and had everything we needed for a super fun stay. We’ll definitely come back for our family trip next year! Our host was super communicative and really wanted to ensure we had a great stay. We had a wonderful time! Thanks.

This place rocks! Located right in the center of Port A, it was a short walk to all the fun bars and restaurants and to the beach. The home itself was very clean and spacious, enough room for two adults and a baby with two dogs to fit comfortably. The wrap around deck was amazing in the evening with the outdoor shower after the beach. 10/10 would love to stay again.

Fantastic property! My husband and I brought our dog here for an anniversary weekend, and it was perfect! The enclosed patio was great for avoiding the midday sun, and the fenced yard was great for evening firepit hangs! Everything about the place was ideal. We'll definitely visit again! Thank you!!

This house was perfect for my wife and I. We really enjoyed the screed porch in the evenings. The house was clean and ready for our stay. Lots of places are within walking distance if you want to walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will check availability of the property first on our next trip to Port Aransas.

This cottage was very nice to vacation in. It was clean, pet friendly, and accessible to the beach. We absolutely loved the outdoor shower and screened in porch! We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay! It had everything we needed and more. A perfect place to be with our dogs and convenient to the beach and restaurants. Everything was clean and comfortable and perfectly decorated. I can’t wait to go back!

The living room is tiny compared to the pictures. Whole house is only 400sqf. You have to sign a ridiculous contract with the management a week before that has outrages charges like 1,000 excessive pet hair fee. We didn’t have hot water for the first 24 hours and then had to flip a breaker every time we wanted to shower. The shower head was full of sand so we had no shower pressure until maintenance cleaned it but maintenance knew of this problem the weekend before and didn’t do anything to fix it before our stay. I would maybe pay 1/2 as much as we did for a house the size of a hotel room. The fenced I. Yard is half mud and you have mud puddles in front of front screen door entrance and backyard door. The management company must of copy and pasted the house description from a different property bc it’s not very accurate. The door window blind broke in half when I first opened the door so I had to report to management so I wouldn’t be charged. Apparently maintenance knew about this and just tried to tape it back together. I do not recommend this place. Don’t plan on taking a hot shower in the tiny 2ftx2ft shower. I’m a 200 pound male and could barely fit. The description says it has a shower/tub combo which is false. Parking is terribly cramp for just one vehicle.

We had stayed in a place in this little tract previously managed by a different company, so my expectations were just average, but this place exceeded for sure! Great location, clean, quiet, pet friendly. The screened in patio was amazing since the mosquitos were plentiful and the size of birds after all the recent rain. I’d totally stay in this unit again if they’d have me. Loved our week here.

As always, this is our favorite little cottage in the neighborhood! We always check its availability first. The porch is the go to!

Great spot close to the beach and all the chill restaurants and bars. Close to the grocery store too. Outdoor shower is a lifesaver, screened patio a great spot to hang and makes the property feel much bigger, it feels like a living room. Inside is small but just right for two. Kitchen is good for cooking small vacay meals for two. Just go ahead and book it mkay.

Was just off beach street. Walkable location. Was just like the pictures. And the screened in porch was awesome in the evening. Outdoor shower was handy getting sand off from the beach.

Really enjoyed my stay at this cottage! The location was super convenient — there’s a great restaurant just down the road, and the beach is right down the next street over. It made everything super easy to walk or drive to. The area felt quiet and relaxing, perfect for a getaway. The cottage itself was clean and had everything I needed. Would definitely come back!

Great place to stay in Port A The place was perfect. The screened in porch was big and spacious. For my two small dogs, they loved it and with the small fenced in yard it worked out great. The place was clean, cool and just perfect for what I was looking for. When I had any questions, they responded right away. Can’t complain about anything but relaxing her away. I’m going back soon for sure!!

Awesome place to stay right downtown, short walk to most of the bars and restaurants. Screened in patio was super nice to have. Host was responsive, friendly, and extremely helpful! Would definitely stay again!!

Enjoyed the stay and house suited our needs very well, a few minor maintenance issues were noted and reported, overall a very comfortable environment, would recommend and consider staying here again in the future.

Positive: Location, clean, parking space, screened porch Negative: Pet friendly: yard too small, fence had loose plank; fence gate bottom gap too big for small dog. We had a quick stay for a couple of fishing charters. The location was clean & very convenient. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic porch, great place if you don’t cook much This property is in Spanish Village; all the properties are small and quaint. It has a fantastic screened in porch that is about the size of the house with an outside shower The porch lets out into an enclose small yard with a fire pit and seating- a great place for our dogs. We didnt have to walk them. There are a few criticisms. The kitchen area is not really equipped for real cooking. There is a 2 burner induction top, a microwave high on a shelf that I had to use a step stool to safely use and a toaster oven on top of the fridge. It is not easy to prepare real meals. There is a small table with 2 uncomfortable bar chairs on the porch. We brought a folding 2x4 table and used that. If you are going to eat your meals out- especially dinner, then the kitchen is ok. Utensils are limited. The bathroom is also cramped- it’s the nature of the cottages. But it worked fine. The bedroom size is ok but there isnt much room or logistics for clothing. We were there for over 2 weeks. There is a small area across from the bathroom where you can hang a few things and if you rearrange, there are 3 shelves to use. The bed was not very comfortable. I travel with a camping mat because of a painful hip. My husband ended up with back pain from the bed so we bought a foam cushion for him and that worked ok. Overall, for a shorter visit and limited cooking this is a great place. The neighborhood is nice and quiet except for the construction at the high school. Restaurants are close.

The place was beautiful for our stay. Being near the beach was a PLUS. we look forward to book another stay with this host soon

Wish there was complimentary coffee provided. Also, don’t care for the 3rd party hidden cost. Other than that, everything else was perfect.

Second time staying in this house. We love it and love the screened in porch! Perfect for just the wife and I!

Just Okay. House was clean, but the screens on the patio were falling apart. Some tiles missing in bathroom. Hard time using microwave bc it was on a very small shelf and had to be careful not to let it fall. Three doors and keys only worked on one. 😞 We won’t return.

- No clear instructions with key of house. Two different locks. 2 different key pads - Shower was super small. Listing said shampoo, conditioner, body soap BUT the shampoo and conditioner were sample size. For 3 days, 2 adults and a child, we shared the small tiny soaps (if they were clear on the sizes I would have brought my own from home) - Beds were not comfortable. Spring beds, cheap, out of date. - Roach under the sink - Skimpy with blankets - All the doors were sticky. Keys didn’t work with all the doors. - A BIG issue was 3 pm, me messaging the host asking if we can check in 30 min earlier, keep in mind check in is at 4 with a lock box code to be sent at 3:30 pm, nobody would have met us. The host messaged us back saying “if we want to check in early they need 24h hour notice”. It made no sense to me. Obviously we waited to 4 but the host was just more in their own favor and not in favor of the guests.

It was clean, but it was smaller than we thought.

This property was perfect for two people. Location was great. Walking distance to several restaurants & bars. Only a few minute drive to the beach. It would have been better if the $50 damage waiver was refundable if we left the property in good order. Other than the fee, this property was perfect for us.

10/10 My husband and I stayed there for a few days for a fishing trip and we loved it. The screened in porch was really nice to keep all of our fishing gear. The ac worked wonderfully and overall it was clean and refreshing to come back to everyday.

Had a great week staying at the cottage. Loved the king sized bed and outdoor shower. Have stayed at other cottages within the village, so great location to access beach and restaurants.

The location was perfect, we brought our 2 dogs with us and we felt at home. Plenty of space, no stairs, the closed in patio and outdoor patio were both so nice. The bed was comfy, we will be back!!

The place was great! Such an amazing porch space to hang out on. The outdoor shower was the cherry on top. It was so close to the beach and all of the shops in town, also had a friendly environment and homey atmosphere.

The rental was just as described in the photos and description. I haven't rented many Airbnb but the host was extremely helpful in answering all my questions in a very timely manner! Even though a smaller cottage, it was perfect for two of us and our small pup. The screened in porch area was very nice to sit out in & not have to deal with gnats or flies. Great amount of furniture on the porch & we sat at the wooden table & ate our Easter Lunch which was very refreshing to be able to eat outside & not have to deal with wind, dirt, etc flying around. There is an outside fenced in portion of the yard that has a small fire pit & charcoal grill which allowed us to spread out some & spend time outside grilling hotdogs & playing w/the pup There's an outside shower tucked away into the corner, which was very nice, allowing us to wash the sand off of us before we went inside from being out at the beach. We will definitely be staying here again!!!!

Great place to stay The process to check in was easy. The property is nice and private. The beach is not too far to drive. We enjoyed sitting outside making BBQ. Pet friendly. We will return.

Great cottage and location This property was recently renovated, and was very comfortable for us and our two pups. It’s walking distance to great restaurants and the art center. The grocery store is very close as well. The fenced in backyard was great for our puppies and the surrounding neighborhood makes for a great walks, you’re only five minutes away from the beach

Great location Good place near the water. Everything was as expected except the dishes and pots and pans were dirty. Not a problem as we will alway wash dishes before use. But still it was missed.

Port A Getaway Cool, Efficient and Clean place to stay with Wife and 2 dogs. The location is perfect for beach during the day and dinner/nightlife in the evening.

Quick stay in Port A This updated little cottage is so adorable. It was perfect size for my family of 3 last minute 4 day/3 night trip. Our only complaint is that the pull out bed in the living room was terrible. No cushion, very thin and springy. Our kid opted to sleep on the couch. Glad we only had one kid on this trip. But for me, a/c is the most important and it worked great. Overall, very cute and cozy place to stay.

Anniversary Weekend 49th Anniversary so we planned a trip to Port Aransas. Great weekend.

Enjoyed beach holiday with family Location and cabin very nice. Had difficulty getting passcode to get into cabin. Had to call Sandkey to obtain passcode since was not included in email. Please have bathroom door repaired before renting again. Also provide broom to sweep up sand. Enjoyed Thanksgiving on beach with our family.

Weekend getaway House was great, clean and comfy, only issue was you couldn’t close the bathroom door at all. Made it a bit awkward when having to use the restroom.

Labor Day get a way The house was nice perfect for us and our pet. The only thing privacy with the neighbors next door not so good, you could see them and they could see us. More plants would be nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Weekend Getaway It was perfect for me and my fiancé. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay Cutest little home. For those that want to cook, there are only 2 burners and no dishwasher. We did not mind and we had a great time.

Great Location Overall the location of this property is the most enticing part of the property. It's super cute from the outside and the we loved the little carport with the fence, was very handy unloading the golf cart daily after being at the beach. The listing explains well that it's pretty bare bones as far as extra "amenities" go so we weren't expecting more than that. It was not the cleanest place I've stayed at in Port A and the pull out bed was very uncomfortable, anyone larger than my 6 year old daughter would have been very uncomfortable.

Perfect visit I found this property on line and booked it immediately after cancelling a reservation at another property. Everything from the reservation process, payment, check in and check out were beyond perfect! Thank you all so much!

Spanish Village It was pleasant stay. Property was clean and comfortable. Location was ideal. My only issue was the bedding (sheets and pillows)... pretty cheap sheets, bed cover, pillows. The bed was firm and comfortable. It would have been a full 5 start other than that.

Cute, cozy, perfect little cabin We came for a long weekend getaway and the cabin was perfect. Great location, nicely appointed, and quieter than we expected. We could tell that there were some recent updates to the place and all were very nice. We will definitely be back!

Very Relaxing. Property was awesome. Needed a getaway and this was perfect. Soooo easy, even for this old gal. Responses were quick.

Great location.. Great location and accommodations. One recommendation is that all of the outlets be checked, some are loose and some won’t accept the plugs. Outside shower hose has several holes and sprays all over the place. The shower needs to be re thought out, a shower head that accommodates different heights of people should be considered. The small generic screw on shower head, no hose, would be more appropriate.

Our Father’s Day weekend We have stayed in two of the cottages here in Spanish Village. Both were great but this one had a nice front and back yard. The privacy gate was one of the reasons we rented this one. The house was clean and comfy. Definitely will stay here again.

Great Place for dog parents Fenced yard was really nice for the dog, and the amenities and appliances available were plenty for two people.

Great pet friendly place Cute little place with nice size yard and shower to clean off after the beach. So happy to be able to bring my fur babies and enjoy the city with the whole family. Husband said it was amazing. We didn't want to leave.

Perfect stay We had a perfect stay here. It’s really such a cute little home and the backyard was big enough for our 2 medium sized dogs. Central air made it even better! Location is great and we were able to walk to restaurants and beach everyday. Would love to come back!

Perfect stay We really enjoyed our stay at this little cottage. While does sleep four with the couch, it was perfect for just a couple (and two dogs). We had everything we needed, and proximity to the beach, shops, and restaurants was great. The outdoor shower came in handy to rinse the dogs off after beach time, and we loved sitting outside in the secluded patio area. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again- the contactless checkin/checkout was really conveinent, too!

Honeymoon stay Overall absolutely loved our stay but took awhile to get used to the small shower space and the shower water temp was hard to maintain.

We will be back! We were looking for a quiet and relaxing place and that is what we experienced. Other than your occasional loud music from other renters that you can’t help- it was very nice and quiet at night.

Really nice cottage in a great location. We had a wonderful time, and the property was perfect for 2 of us and our dog. Contactless check-in was flawless, and we didn't have to meet face-to-face. Only issue is it's a little far to walk to the beach, but there's ample parking so that's not an issue. We will return and stay here again!

Port A - Labor Day trip The cottage was very nice and clean with a grassed front fenced yard to sit with my dogs and have coffee each morning. It was conveniently located right in the hub-a-bub of Port-A. It was nicely decorated in a beach theme and very comfortable! I would recommended to anyone looking for a trip to Port-A.

First getaway We had a great time. The outdoor shower was fantastic after a day at the beach. The inside shower is super small and not a lot of towels, it overall a great little cottage

Great little Bungalow....close to the beach! Great little cozy bungalow, that my wife and I and our Dog enjoyed for a far too peaceful Fourth of July for Port A (due to Covid)! Close to shops, restaurants, etc. We will come back!

Perfect for the two of us and our two babies (pups) We loved it! The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything, lots of walkability. There’s an ice cream shop and we had take out burgers from MacDaddys for lunch one afternoon, and it was great too! We also cooked out on the grill, so everything was perfect for us, we’ll definitely be back!

Clean and great location! We LOVED this little home. It was perfect for our weekend and our favorite part was actually the outdoor shower! It was really nice to clean off outside. The home was very clean, which is always a priority. Great communication with rental property. We brought our boat for the weekend, but we were able to rent a slip at the marina around the corner and leave the trailer in the marina parking lot, no problem! We would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would note for further renters is there is not a washer and dryer, but there is a laundry mat on the island you can use. 😊 Great stay!

Great Location! Close to the beach and close to the restaurants and shops. Bed is comfortable, shower feels great, and air conditioner keeps the place cool! We really liked having our own private driveway! Small, but we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay!

Location, Location, Location! We loved our stay here! It's just off the main street and within walking or golf cart distance to just about everything. It was clean, cute, quiet, and quaint! Fully Stocked with anything you might need, and the bed...is SO comfy! The updated interior decor is adorable! AND there is laundry on site too! We loved it! Cozy “casita” in Port Aransas TX! Lovely neighborhood of similar properties rented by Midwesterners escaping the winter snow! Property management was accommodating—all issues promptly resolved. Small—400 square feet—had separate bedroom and bathroom—with combined kitchen, dining, living room area. Heat and A/C worked well. Completely fenced yard welcomed our family dog.
