Amazing place nestled in the forest! Beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We really enjoyed our stay!

This place was absolutely amazing! We had the best anniversary trip! Not only were we close to Hochatown and some very good restaurants, the cabin itself was phenomenal. We used every single wonderful amenity! We especially loved the pool table, projectors, thoughtful game options, and the hot tub! It was seriously, hands down one of our favorite trips! Thank you so much for such a memorable time!

Retro Retreat was absolutely wonderful! There are so many amenities. My biggest concern was which chair to sit and drink my coffee... chair swing, porch swing, or rocking chair. The hammock was my favorite place when I didn't have a drink in hand. My husband & I enjoyed listening to the records on the record player upstairs while watching out the wall of windows for wildlife to walk through the yard. We watched a college football game on the projector screen outside while playing a game of pool. We ate pizza at Grateful Head (so delicious) and enjoyed drinks at The Tasting Room. All of this nightlife was close by, however the cabin seemed far away from civilization because it was so quiet! We were able to cook breakfast easily since the kitchen has what you'll need. You won't be disappointed with this beauty. We didn't want to leave. Megan was super responsive, but we didn't need much since our stay was all so perfect. We will definitely recommend you to our friends! Thanks, Megan!

Great hospitality

We had a great stay! The cabin was easy to find, and since this was a work/vacation trip, we appreciated the comfortable spaces to work. The workout room was perfect for morning yoga, and the well-stocked kitchen was a nice touch. Tea drinkers will appreciate the electric kettle for hot water. The host was a great communicator with just the right cadence. We’d happily stay here again.

This place exceeded our expectations! The cabin was beautiful, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was one of our favorite parts—close to all the best spots in Broken Bow while still offering plenty of privacy and gorgeous scenery. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily book again in the future!

Girl's Retro Retreat This girls getaway had been planned for months, and Retro Retreat exceeded every expectation! The property feels peaceful and private, and having the Ouachita National Forest directly behind the cabin made it feel even more secluded. We spent our afternoons reading under the beautiful wall of windows and evenings relaxing in the hot tub. The wellness room was a great bonus that we used every day. Honestly, we could have stayed at the cabin the entire trip and been perfectly happy! The cabin is close enough to enjoy Broken Bow and Hochatown's local experiences. Our personal recommendations would be Local Habit Coffee, Loblolly Chocolates, the lake, and hiking trails. We definitely want to come back to finish Skyline Trail! More than anything, this trip gave us a chance to slow down, catch up, and enjoy time together. If you're looking for a place to unplug and recharge for a few days, Retro Retreat is hard to beat! We'll definitely be back!

The house was beautiful! Better than I expected to be honest. Amazing view with a really cool layout. And the host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Like, within minutes quick, to respond.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how stunning everything was, both inside and outside. Our favorite amenities were definitely the wellness room, pool table, and hot tub — they made our stay so relaxing and fun. We also love spending time outdoors, so the location was perfect for us. It was an easy drive to several great fishing spots and hiking trails, and Friend’s Trail was especially beautiful. One of the most special features of the cabin was the incredible wall of windows that brought in so much natural light and allowed us to fully enjoy the gorgeous views throughout our stay. Even with some rainy weather during our trip, we still had such a wonderful time enjoying all the cabin had to offer. Overall, this cabin exceeded our expectations in every way. It was peaceful, beautiful, cozy, and incredibly well thought out. We would absolutely stay here again when returning to Broken Bow and highly recommend it!

The perfect family retreat — 10/10! My wife and I just wrapped up a weekend stay, and honestly it couldn’t have gone better. It was our first trip with our 7-month-old, so we were a little nervous — but this place made it completely seamless. The host had a pack and play and a high chair ready for us, which took so much stress off the planning side. Those little details made a huge difference. What really won us over was how much there was to enjoy right at the property. We never felt the pressure to go out and “do something” we were genuinely happy just being there. When the baby napped, my wife and I got real time together to unwind and reconnect. That kind of rest is rare, and this place delivered it. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. It was the kind of space that invites you to slow down and breathe. If we could have stayed longer, we would have without hesitation. If you’re a young family looking for a retreat, this is it!

Birthday celebration weekend get away. The place is absolutely amazing, beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. So close to activities and restaurants but we mainly went there to spend time together and relax. Fire pit at night following by a hot tub to end the night. My husband enjoyed the pool table a lot. The cover patio allowed us to be outside even with the rain.

Overall the amenities of the cabin were fantastic. Has everything you need, and there are lots of things to do in the area. Communication can be improved by the host. Requesting 5 star reviews multiple times was excessive.

We loved staying at Retro Retreat. When we arrived, everything was thoughtfully put together from the decor to the extras needed to make the stay relaxing. We enjoyed viewing the stars through the outdoor dome in the evening when we first arrived. Throughout the stay, our family enjoyed playing pool and board games. We relaxed in the mornings with some workouts and enjoyed soaking in the hot tub. We had fun roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. The location was nearby other neighbors yet felt secluded with the open state park behind. I would definitely recommend Retro Retreat to any one considering a location and especially with Home Team. This is our second stay on their properties by chance and found their attention to detail on point.

We had a blast staying at the Retro Retreat with our two boys! Everything was spotless and well maintained with plenty of amenities. The kids loved the hot tub and the fire pit. We spent a ton of time on the patio with the pool table,and the stargazing dome was such a wow factor for the kids. The beds were amazing and everything was right there at our fingertips. It was a fantastic experience.

A perfect stay in a beautiful and well-maintained home. Positive: Beautiful home that is very well kept and fully stocked with everything you could need. The amenities made our stay comfortable, and we would absolutely stay here again. Negative: There isn’t anything I didn’t like. I do think a basket of throw blankets would add a nice touch especially on cooler nights or to lounge around on the couch.

I can’t say enough positive things about our stay. Megan was an amazing host! Her staff was equally amazing and very helpful. The cabin met all our needs and then some. They really thought about every little thing and detail that could make your stay perfect! Our family had the best time and made many memories. My autistic daughter was also able to enjoy herself with all the amenities. It was just the perfect stay and we will be back!

Our stay was wonderful! It was easy to get in and the layout was beautiful. There’s a small town about 5-10 minutes down the road with restaurants and activities, but there were so many activities at the house too. The yoga room was great for my child to play in and run around. Host was super responsive and very helpful! We’ll be staying there again whenever we visit next!

The Retro Retreat was right near all the hikes and restaurants we went to. I’d definitely book with her again! The cabin was clean and organized, and I had no complaints at all. Our family loved this Cabin! It was beautiful and was great for our two little girls! Plenty to do at the cabin and close enough to drive to our other activities!

It’s a fantastic place to relax. Very close to several restaurants if you want something beyond a peaceful stay. Lots of nature behind the house, saw several deer in the mornings. We will be back for sure.
