Retro home in downtown sister bay-Sleeps 6! — Guest Reviews

This property was absolutely perfect for a girls weekend in Sister Bay! The property is super spacious, has an adorable backyard area for fire pits, and ample space to hang out around the living room, dining table, or outdoor dining area! The home was also conveniently located about a 10 minute walk from downtown Sister Bay, which was extremely convenient. Would highly recommend this property!

The size and location of the property is very good. The best part was the large fenced in yard, which was very convenient for our two dogs. However, the cost for the property was outrageous for what you get. There are simple things that could be fixed- like the many scuffs and dirty marks on doors. At one point, the fuse blew from using the microwave and it took over an hour for them to figure out the code for the garage to locate the fuse box. I asked for a late check out, and would’ve had to pay 57- but ended up getting a refund due to the fuse trouble. Overall, I don’t think it’s worth close to 4,000 for 3 nights.

Pet friendly, convenient, spacious and clean!! Positive: Close enough to walk to Sister Bay main street but away from the crowd and the traffic. Very clean, nice decor, ample storage space and had everything we needed for a 1-week stay (kitchen utensils, laundry detergent). The fenced-in backyard was a huge plus for our 2 mid-sized dogs. The house has plenty of space for 4 adults to hang and chill with big enough dining room and living room. Negative: We really wanted to give it a 5 stars, but the master bedroom bathroom shower had no ledge or caddy to put our shampoo/soap bottles and we had to lay them all on the floor which became very cluttered, and the shower head had a huge crack so it sprayed all over the place.

We had a wonderful time in Sister Bay. Simple Life Rentals was easy to work with and quick to respond. The location is walkable to downtown, which did daily. The house itself is suitable but not quite the comfort we were expecting. The rugs/carpeting in the pictures are no longer there, and the house could use some upkeep. It certainly does the job and was a good option for our vacation.

This Airbnb was awesome - a perfect location in Sister Bay, bigger than the photos (really comfortable for 4 people!) and a really wonderful backyard for our two dogs. We loved staying here and would definitely stay here again!

Cute house right down the road from the main attractions in town.

House was perfect for families with kids, the toys were great also!

Perfect place Overall good

Long weekend getaway Great location for walking to town

Great Vacation Had some communication bumps at first but once it was worked out all was good. I would make a recommendation to remove the toy snakes from the toy box. Just saying. The house was great and met our needs very well

Pros and cons The layout of the house was great, as was the location. We also enjoyed the fenced in backyard. The house is not well maintained. The toilet paper holder was torn off the wall in one of the bathrooms. The wall had not been repaired. A roof leak occurred at some point. The ceiling had not been properly fixed. The house had a very unpleasant, musty smell as soon as you walked in the door. There is a water issue somewhere that has not been resolved. We paid $4,000 for 3 nights. I expected more.
