The house had a strong smell upon entering

Great location and accommodations. Host was responsive when we had a question! 🙂 Had a great stay! Great girlfriend trip! 3 childhood friends now in their 60’s. Would definitely rent again!! Lots to do!! Clean! Can’t beat it!!🙂

My wife and kids have been traveling to Door County/Fish Creek for years. My parents used to have a property in Egg Harbor; so I’ve been going to Door County most of my life. We had rented a condo right next to the unit I’m commenting on in the past couple years. This particular unit was a big disappointment. The first thing we noticed on arrival was a terrible musty odor and a dehumidifier running in the living room. The next thing we noticed were ants and ant traps all over the place. The third thing we discovered was the pull out couch/ bed had stained sheets on it. These three things plus being the unit closest to Hwy 42 with lots of traffic noise made for a less than enthusiastic stay. Especially for 600 plus a night! I will not book this particular unit ever again; and frankly at this price point, I’ll look at other properties before choosing these units.

For the price, it seems like you should be getting more. I will say that the communication and cleanliness were great. I had a few issues: 1) The grill was unusable-- and we planned to grill and brought all the food to do so. The bottom had been rusted out and was laying on the ground. The host may not have known about this, but it was disappointing. 2) There is a strong mold/mildew smell. This is big for my family cause we all have allergies to mold/mildew, especially my 4yo that has been hospitalized before. 3) If you have kids <2yo (we have a 1yo), you have to be very diligent to not have they try to eat the ant/bug poision that is all over the first floor of the house. And, the ant poison was spilt on the floor. For this price you should be able to stay on the water and have more privacy than a patio directly on the main drag without any privacy bushes. It is an okay place if you are planning to just sleep there, but in that case, it should be much cheaper.

Pros: Location, overall clean, good water pressure, well working AC, appreciated washer and dryer, well stocked kitchen with coffee. Cons: Odd musty smell, very stained carpeting in one of the bedrooms, not enough hand soap in bathrooms, not enough soap/shampoo/conditioner since they only provided two kits for four people over three days, no curtains in rooms with very strong sunlight even with blinds closed. Lastly, we wanted to extend our star by one day and they proposed very expensive rate (over 100 more versus another place with same size/location/amenities) with additional fees. We just ended up moving locations for the last day. A bummer, but this is owned by an LLC so they probably have less flexible policies and fee schedules.

Stayed for the second year in a row and it’s such a fabulous location. We can bike with 2 kids into the park easily, and can walk to icecream anytime we want. I love being able to wake up early and go for a walk by the water. Just wonderful. Full of all the amenities of home. Thanks for another memorable vacation!

We stayed here for a family vacation with my parents and young baby. It was a great space for four adults. Everything was very clean and the host was extremely responsive. I appreciate that a pack and play was available. The master bedroom faces the street but was still quiet. The area was very walkable. I would have liked to have blackout curtains in addition to blinds, as the light sometimes made it difficult to put our baby to bed, but that is specific to our situation. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Excellent experience. The condo was the perfect location across from the park and an easy walk into town. The unit was spacious, comfortable and spotless, with every amenity needed. The host was very gracious and responsive to all needs. Would definitely recommend!

Location is great. Walking distance to everything is good. Interior was very clean. Comfortable beds. K cup machine broken upon arrival. Host was responsive. Exterior needed attention. Lots of spider webs around main entrance. We will consider returning again.

This house is super cute and well equipped. Walkable to coffee and restaurants. We were three adults so it was perfect for us. Community ovation with host was smooth and they are very responsive. We recommend it!

Great place to stay. It had everything you need and lots of space. The kids specifically enjoyed the pool. The house and linens could have been a little more clean, but we were very happy overall.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated and felt very spacious. The pool was absolutely perfect for relaxing, and we loved how everything — shops, restaurants and the beach — was just a short walk away. The location couldn’t have been better. Overall, a fantastic experience and we would definitely stay here again!

Great place and great location!

Great location! Unfortunately the outside garbage was overflowing when we arrived. It remained by the side door for days until garbage day. This was the entrance by parking. Looked like the bathroom shelves hadn’t been dusted for a while (lack of counter space required us to use them). No nightstands in main bedroom was an inconvenience for cpap machines.

We loved our stay in this spot! It was within walking distance to everything. It was so nice to not have to drive everywhere. We also loved how close it was to Peninsula State Park. We rode our bikes there and around the Sunset loop. Our kids also loved the pool and swam every single day. It was well maintained and clean. Easy to park. We loved it!

Fish Creek Find We had a great stay and really enjoyed the proximity to everything in Fish Creek and the rest of the peninsula. The kitchen was well stocked and the home was comfortable, cozy, and conveniently located. The only tiny suggestion I'd make would be to have some tissues in the house! That's the only thing I can think to suggest, so that just speaks to a great place overall!

Good location. A bit musty inside. The unit did have a constantly running dehumidifier. Cute place, very comfy. Would book again.

Yellow Cottage Great location and space. There was a Lot of spiders around the doorway and a humidifier of some sort in the living room that was loud and heated up the room. Would have otherwise been 5 star all around.

Girlfriend weekend It was a perfect location for checking out the town of Fish Creek. There were 3 of us with plenty of room and space. We would definitely come back again.

VRBO in Door Very well equipped and appointed. Only the TV was a mystery to us. We weren’t able to watch the olympics as we had wished. Unable to get network or cable channels we were used to. I guess it got us out more.

Nice Unit and Great Location! Unit is well maintained and you can’t beat the location. We loved being able to walk to all of our favorite activities: bike rental for PSP, pizza at Wild Tomato, downtown shops and marina, and frozen custard right across the street. Plenty of space to spread out on first floor and all is quiet after 10 pm even during peak season. Would definitely book again.

Great location! Great location! Beautiful condo! Loved the Town of Fish Creek. Could walk to shops and restaurants and even Sunset park to watch the sunset. For a family of four, would have loved extra towels, but other than that, the condo had everything we needed.

Excellent, cozy and clean! We loved this place and will definitely be back. It was centrally located, very clean, all the amenities one would need and truly felt like home away from home!

Very comfortable, great location We stayed at this cottage for my door county half marathon. Was a great location right next to peninsula state park. Cottage was very clean and cosy. My 3 year old loved going to the fish creek beach. Overall excellent stay!
