Great location. On site parking. Clean. Very comfortable.

The cabin was clean, very well maintained, perfectly located (I could see the lake across the street between the other cabins when laying in bed). The grounds were lovely, and parking was easy and plentiful. We only needed one room, but it would be great for two couples, or a family. We were so pleasantly surprised on our first trip to Door County, that we may return with our family and friends!

Very pretty cabin right on the main road, can walk to all places in Ephraim. Was clean and well maintained and very comfortable.

We had another relaxing and fun stay at Collings Cottage. The hosts have thought of everything - a well stocked kitchen, large and fluffy bath towels, games and toys, and dog treats for Roxie. The comfortable chairs in front of the large window and the Adirondack chairs on the lawn made for reading, or people/sunset watching. We appreciated the brighter great room this visit - more lights must have been added to the tracks. Good restaurants and the legendary Leroy’s Coffee and Wilson’s Cafe in easy walking distance. During our 9-day stay we used both the heat and AC - easy to use and efficiently brought the cottage to a comfortable temperature. We suggest more complete written instructions on how to obtain live local tv stations. Thanks for another wonderful vacation.

GREAT GETAWAY PLACE! Positive: The cottage is simply lovely and was better supplied than any VRBO we've ever stayed in! It is centrally located in Ephraim and has a view of Green Bay sunsets between houses across the street. There was a quiet road steps away where I could walk my dogs. The staff was super responsive! Negative: It is right on the busy highway, which made getting my dogs to our walking area challenging. The great room is dark without the lights on.

We had a wonderful time in the beautiful cabin! They had all the things you need for a family vacation. We appreciated the games and puzzles in addition to the close proximity to everything in Ephraim. Highly recommend! The host is prompt in responding to messages and willing to help in any way.

We felt right at home in this wonderful cabin. the location was excellent. fully equipt kitchen and we appreciate the coffee and the creamer available. My granddaughter loved the children books and the games and activities available. would highly recommend.

Good location across from the lake. Alot of traffic and noise during the day being on the main road leading to the towns in Door county.

This is a small place. Cute. But small. Right on highway so not quiet at all.

We had another relaxing stay at the Collings Cottage in June. You get a sense of early Door County days from the architecture while enjoying all modern comforts in a very clean and well cared for home. The hosts have equipped the cottage with everything you could need from a charger cord to extra blankets to saran wrap, even dog treats and poop bags if you are lucky enough to bring your dog. Our dog Roxie felt right at home and happily went to her dog crate when we would leave. The cottage is in a prime Door County location – you are in the center of the peninsula. It is also a prime Ephraim location – a view of Green Bay from the large front window, Leroy’s Coffee Shop, several good restaurants, the iconic Wilson’s Ice Creem Parlor, and the beach all in easy walking distance. Kudos to the hosts for allowing dogs! We have already reserved a return visit.

Very spacious cottage which looks even better than the photos in person. Very kind and responsive host. Very much appreciated their kind words and refund of the pet fee since our dog had unexpectedly passed soon before our trip. Very central location with lots to do! Highly recommend.

We loved our weekend at this very lovely rental house. We brought our dogs with us and had a great time. Beautiful views of the lake and close to Ephraim’s downtown. We hope to come back in the future!

Loved our stay! The cabin was extremely clean and had everything provided you’d need for a weekend stay. You can’t beat the location - walkable to all of Ephram and easily drivable to other DC spots.

The cottage was perfect as we enjoyed a peaceful couple of days enjoying the fall colors. We are already talking about going back next year.

The cabin was adorable and perfect for our family of 4. We had a wonderful fall getaway in a great location. We loved the coffee shop almost right next door! The host communicated quickly with us and we’d stay here again.

We had the loveliest stay at this sweet cabin and will definitely make this our go-to spot to stay next time we’re in Door County. The house was even more charming and spacious than in the photos. Its location in Ephraim is perfect - it’s very walkable, just moments away from great coffee, restaurants, and shops, and the water which is directly across the street (which you have a view of from inside the home), and just a short drive to Sister Bay and other stunning nearby villages in Door County. The house was incredibly cozy, clean, and comfortable. It’s located on a main road but set back from the street and we didn’t notice any traffic noise at all. We found the location and property to be perfect in every way.

Beautiful location in Ephraim. A short drive from lots of neat and interesting attractions, but still in a peaceful area. The rental cabin was clean, comfortable, and well furnished. Communication with the hosts was friendly and easy to understand. Thanks for a great stay!

Great place close to the beach, state park and coffee shops

Charming cottage restored with modern comforts. Owners provided everything you could think of needing, and the location featured short walks to Wilson’s ice cream and Leroy’s coffee, with beautiful sunsets. We appreciated the owners allowing us to bring Roxie - she thoroughly enjoyed the vacation.

What a lovely cabin in a serene Door County setting! Great location and easy to get to with great parking and walkable access to so much. Amenities in the house were great with everything we needed. Comfy beds and space to hang out. Very cute house, perfect for a couple or small family. A little expensive for a few days stay but a memorable trip.

This was a perfect Door County weekend in the cutest cabin. The location is ideal for walking around Ephraim but still feels private. We are definitely coming back!

My favorite Ephraim place to stay Our family has stayed at Collings Log House multiple times. And we keep returning. Its location is perfect, surroundings serene, the cabin just the right size for us. With multiple visits, we feel like “we’re home” when we arrive. Communication is quick between the management and ourselves when needed. I’m now plotting when I can return….happiest holidays to you and yours.

Autumn in Door County The cottage was quaint & cozy, super clean, perfectly outfitted, in a great location, and a great choice for anyone wanting a home base for Door County exploration. We will return to this welcoming place.

Perfect for small family getaway We very much enjoyed our stay here! The rooms and outdoor space were lovely, with quick access to downtown Ephraim and the public beach. Check in and check out were straightforward and simple. Enough kitchen supplies were provided for a long weekend. Recommend bringing your own toiletries. We would stay again!

Lovely spot This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the cabin, (we have also stayed in the little cabin on the property) and it will not be out last! We love the place, it is the perfect size, and thrilled with the location in Ephraim. I can't believe how fast our days went by and now I am already looking forward to the next trip up to DC and our next stay here. Thank you for helping to make it another memorable trip!
