This was one of the best AirBnB’s we’ve ever stayed in. Stunning scenery, well appointed with everything you need for a long weekend away from the city. It served as the perfect backdrop for a weekend with friends. We can’t wait to come back!

We went with a few friends and the property was spectacular! My wife and I brought our son, and another couple brought their young daughter. Red Cottage accommodated all of our additional requests (highchair, pack and play, etc.). We really enjoyed our time there and the panorama view is incredible. It's in reasonable driving distance to a lot of great hiking spots and popular towns. If the property is available, we will definitely be back to visit!

Gorgeous house on a gorgeous plot of land. Great for a relaxing weekend with friends. I would recommend bug spray as you are in nature!

We had a lovely stay at Red Cottage! The surroundings are gorgeous, the house too. It was beautiful and comfy. We had an issue with the heat but they were super responsive and sent someone to fix it. We cooked, made a fire, drank good wine, went apple picking to a nearby farm and baked a pie. The kids played by the pond, it was a gorgeous fall weekend!

Beautiful house with lots of natural light Beautiful house with lots of natural light and space to gather around for our family. We had a few incidents during our stay and communication with the management company was a bit difficult but in the end all got resolved. Aside from many beetles roaming through the home and a strange odor in the fridge, the house seemed clean and well kept.

Red Cottage is absolutely beautiful, a great space for a girls' trip! The surroundings are gorgeous, hiking trails are less than 10 mins away, downtown is 15 minutes away, but we spent a lot of time at the house catching up by the fire. The hosts were very responsive and helpful and provided us with tons of recs. We are already looking forward to coming back next year.

I was very happy with our stay and especially with Red Cottage’s help during our 3 weeks there. They were very responsive and offered to send someone out as soon as we asked for something. The place is pretty much as pictured… really pretty glass house in the woods upstate. You definitely need a car to get around but that’s something we knew going into it. I would recommend it for people looking for a break from the city and who want to be in nature.

We had a wonderful long weekend here. The house is beautiful. It had everything we needed and communication with the host was great. We would love to go back.

Amazing stay! You will need 4 wheel drive in winter:

This house was really nice for a relaxing week away from home. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, etc. so we could cook anything we wanted. We loved the steam shower and heated floors in the primary bath too. The area has some cute farm stores and co-ops that were fun to explore.

The view is truly spectacular, and the large sliding doors and fireplace made the space feel cozy. The house was also well stocked, which we appreciated. The management company was also extremely responsive. However, the home felt in need of a deeper clean. An upstairs door didn’t fully close, so there were bugs inside when we arrived. The upstairs balcony wasn’t available for use and we also had a few maintenance issues: the fire alarm went off without reason one day, and the central heating was stuck on one temperature throughout our stay.

Peaceful and secluded. Incredible home.

Beautiful home with an amazing view.

My stay at this property was simply exceptional! We still cannot get over the views!!! Wow! The house is spacious and so beautifully decorated! We enjoyed the art pieces around the house and overall we had the best time! The details throughout the house are superb and simply in our top three best airbnbs we have stayed at! The hosts were friendly and communicative and just made our stay so peaceful and enjoyable! We absolutely cannot wait to return back in the summer! This house is an absolute GEM!!! The sunsets and sunrise views are breathtaking!
