Great location and perfect for bringing your pet. Walls are pretty thin and on the weekend you can hear everyone's loud music, but the A/C drowns it out pretty well. The floors were pretty dirty, making your feet brown on the bottom after barely walking around, so we did wear sandals inside. There were no beach towels, and the kitchen is stocked with very nice appliances and pots and pans. There is no basic kitchen cooking materials such as salt pepper or olive oil. In the back, there is an outdoor shower and hose which are great after a day on the beach. The inside shower was extremely small, would definitely be difficult for someone larger to use. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.
It wasn’t what I thought it was going to be. Parking was horrible. You walk in to the bedroom at the front door. That mattress was very poor. My wife and I sagged into the middle making trying to sleep very uncomfortable and if you have a bad back it would be worse. There was a stove in the kitchen but no oven. It was ok for what we needed but I will never stay there again.
1 the bed was horrible2 it was a cracker jack box3 the pictures we're misleading4 no mop5 not enough towels or paper towels6, no coffee, no filters, no sugar, no Creamer.7 no parking.8 the yard was great.9 when we walked in, it stunked, really bad of mold 10 dehumidifier was full of mold and water. I cleaned it for you, the best I could with my hand and my paper towel. I emptied it twice.
Property was well kept and as advertised. Would stay again.

Cozy little stay that we enjoyed with our dog. Great location with easy access to beach as well as many bars and restaurants. Hosts were excellent communicators. Not glamorous but certainly fit our needs for a quick, extended weekend. Would stay here again

The property management company was amazing. Very nice to deal with and made it super easy for us. Great little place with all you need provided. Beach ,restaurants everything minutes away. Perfect location for easy access to all Port A has to offer.
Perfect place to stay if you travel with pets. The fenced in yard with the back patio is amazing. We will definitely stay here again!
We stayed 5 nights in mid march. Cottage was clean and it was everything that we needed for the two of us and our little dog.

Much needed vacation
Place was great for a couple and a dog for a long weekend--had everything we needed and loved having a good size backyard. Location was perfect--close to restaurants, bars and the beach. Though wasn't a big deal, the kitchen does say fully equipped, but it does not have an oven or dishwasher. Communication could have been a bit better as we had some issues with the WiFi and sink disposal that weren't fixed during our stay. Overall, was an enjoyable time!
When you are going to Port A Spanish village is a great place to stay!
We had a great time at the Airbnb and we enjoyed our stay. October was perfect time to go despite it being offseason. It is still hot enough to enjoy the beach but not too hot where we were worried about our GSD puppy overheating. The fence and backyard were perfect and we were surprised how many restaurants were dog friendly and walkable.

AC units insufficient. TV broken. 2nd. TV would not connect to internet or cable box.
It smelled like sewer in the bathroom, definitely outside front lawn,dog hair on couch,cabana nice,needs new cushions but thats been mentioned before
Enjoyed unit that was pet friendly with a fenced backyard. The unit was equipped with all the necessities. Unit was clean and check in was easy.

The location was awesome. The cabana needs attention. The screens were torn and cushions were too dirty to use. The shower was too small and the floor inside the shower needs to be fixed. Had to clean the ac filters. The golf cart is a must,reasonable and close by.
The location was perfect—private, quiet, and just a short drive to the beach. The private cabana made the stay extra special, and the hosts were very responsive. The place had everything we needed. We’d definitely stay here again!
The location is good, can walk to most restaurants and it's close enough to the beach to walk but a car or cart is recommended if you are taking a bunch things. We really enjoyed the screened in gazebo. Such a relaxing space. Check in was easy and kitchen had enough dishes and utensils to make some easy meals. Mattress was too soft. However, overall we had a great stay.

Cottage with cabana Close to restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed being able to relax in the cabana and not worry about mosquitos. The fenced yard was also a bonus.

The place was a little smaller than we expected, but overall the space was perfect for us! The yard was great for the dog and the screened in porch in the back was perfect for reading after a long day on the beach. The property was very walkable, only a 15 minute walk to the beach, and a 5-10 minute walk to some really yummy restaurants and fun bars!
The properly was as it looked in the photos. The back area is a great addition. Two things that’s caused the 4 stars— 1st Air b/b says the price now shows the total fees. Well not here. They make you pay $55 outside of the app for a no. Refundable fee. That should be included in the price. 2nd I don’t get a text with the door code. It was not in the app either. I had to call the hotline to get them to get the owners to send me a code and it did not show up until 4:21. I air b/b often. This is the first time either of those things happened to me.
Place was in a great location. Sun porch was nice. AC units weren’t working very well so my husband checked and the filters were very dirty so we cleaned them up and they worked much better. Would have been nice to have a washer dryer as there were only 4 towels and we couldn’t get more. Overall good stay, my son loved all the colorful decor.
It was a cute little place to stay but it was much smaller than what was expected. I’m 5’3 and barely fit in the shower. Finding parking was also an issue. Aside from those things it was very clean and well maintained. Bed felt amazing
No sleep Never have I offered a complaint about one of my Verbo rentals… and admittedly, my choices are usually on a more expensive rental; however, I have never experienced such an uncomfortable bed - ever. In an effort to possibly improve renters experience a terrible poorly fiopad was put on top of a bad mattress .

The photos definitely need updating, the place looked very different. And they make them look a lot nicer than it ended up being. The screens on the outdoor patio are torn and need to be fixed. There was not a bathroom storage shelf and the one inside the suuuper tiny shower was not the same. The couch was different and did not have an ottoman. There was not a picnic table in the yard, but instead was inside the screened area. There were only 2 blue chairs in the yard and not 4. Slightly misleading photos.
I booked this for my older & disabled parents. They said it was very clean and cute. But it was much smaller than expected. Due to tight quarters they ran into furntiure a lot and could barely shower (very small and short, dad is 6'3). The bed was so soft it was difficult to get out of at their age - they had to assist each other. There were a few bumps at check-in - gate wasn't secured (no lock present) therefore their dog got out. The screen door was torn so the dog got out. and the TV didn't work (debate was on) But Sandkey was very responsive and fixed the TV the very next morning. There was a lot of construction at the nearby school which caused the tiny home to actually shake and make the dog bark. Not peaceful mornings apparently. They enjoyed their stay but because of their age and disabilities, I would not book this for them again. The screened cabana was really the savior for their stay.
This was a nice place for us to have a little staycation from North Padre. It’s very well located for spending time in Port A.
My husband and I stayed here for the weekend. The location it self was great, about 5 minutes from the beach and surrounded by other cute homes. Unfortunately there were a couple of things I was not a fan of. Once you paid your full payment on Airbnb - they make you pay a $50 deposit after paying the entire stay that I still have not received back.. along with additional paperwork that they were requesting. We arrived and the code was supposed to be sent 30 minutes prior to check in at 4 pm. We had to drive around until we received the code, There was also a roach on the bathroom floor the first night. Will be returning.
The place is super tiny, sleeps two adults fine. But shower is like the size of an small RV shower, or smaller. Dont expect to bend over if you drop soap. Outdoor screened in area was in poor repair so all the mosquitos came in the screens. And then the unit itself was not mosquito proof. Pretty sure it was the two window units not sealed that let mosquitos in. Ice maker may make about 5 pieces of ice at a time. Right across from a saloon, so lots of noise...if thats your thing. Cheap mattress with a big foam on top that you cant move around in. Black hair was in the sheets. And dont forget the $50 non-refundable "damage waiver" baked in the fees to "verify" I was who I say I am. So many great places to stay in Port A, but not this spot. With some maintenance, it could be nice for a fit couple. Thank goodness we could fit in the shower!
This place was great for 2 adults and our 20lb dog. Walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants. The screened in porch was so peaceful, all the neighbors around us were quiet too. The entire area had well manicured lawns and only felt one mosquito the entire time we were there. They provided separate linens and towels for the dogs, which we appreciated. Inside was clean for being dog friendly! We would definitely stay here again. And to anyone who brings dogs- bring vegetable oil- it will help remove the beach tar from paw pads. We only wish that there was a nozzle head for the hose outside, would be easier to spray stuff off.
Positive: Great location! Negative: I had to call to get the code for the door and it was pretty inconvenient because the code was never sent to me like I was told it would be when I booked. But other than that after I got the code to the keys everything was great

Positive: The location center of town walking distance Cottage really nice well kept clean plenty of towels .ect. I don't have anything negative to comment on Im former resident of PA .. 2016 we move back to SA husbands declining health 2017 Harvey wipe away our home 2018 my husband passed away .. This was my 1st trip back bitter sweet . The private Cabana felt a sense of peace . I will be returning . Thank you CRule Negative: Having to leave. Back to San Antonio tx

Exactly what you think it’ll be! The property was awesome! The Cabana is worth it in itself. If you’re a hot sleeper, it can be a little warm at night but nothing a fan can’t fix!
Management Experience The management company sent us to the wrong property and when I finally had contact , was told I would get a call back and never received a call…had to figure out where I was staying on my own! Finally got a call on check out day and was accused of still being in the property at 11:45 when we were clearly gone! Poor management!!!!
Area itself is nice walkable to stores & restaurants. The outside of the unit is well kept. They did have a screened in shelter that was nice. Couldn't get in front door due to rust. Inside was clean, 2 people max. The shower is tight extremely low shower head. I wasn't there long enough to really know how anything worked except lack of air conditioner. Had to leave. I know the air was on for at least an hour before I got there. The first 5 minute you walk in it seems fine after that not so good. The a/c in the living room/kitchen barely worked. There is a humidifier in there that had to be kept on that blew hot air. Bedroom A/C lacked cool air. It was so uncomfortable. Maintenance showed up said it's good as it's gonna get because it's very old. He left saying he would talk to management. Response was I need to give it time to cool because of heat index! . I feel management could have done better to address the situation. I would not return and can't recommend unit or management.

Everything about this home was perfect for our stay. The king size bed had an amazing comforter on it that I need to find for my own home. The furnishing were so cute and reflected the beauty of Port A. The kitchen was well appointed and most importantly for us, a coffee maker!!!! Even though it was really close to a few bars that had live music, it was blissfully quiet inside the home. It has an amazing sun room out back but we were so busy running around the town that we did not have the opportunity to utilize it. But if you have a large group I would suggest renting several of the surrounding homes and having a get together in the sunroom!! We had a few questions about the home during our stay and the support was very punctual. We will be back next year! Five stars all the way!!!!
Looks exactly like the pictures! Cozy and comfy, in the center of fishing, going to the beach, and bars/restaurants. This was my second time at this location, and will definitely stay here again for my next trip!
Excellent location! It’s a tiny home right in the middle of all the action but inside of a cute, safe little neighborhood. Walkable to great restaurants, coffee, shopping, nightlife & the beach!! Perfect place for two people with a private backyard for our pups. The patio is a nice extra!

We enjoyed our little weekend getaway at Palm Breeze Cottage. It was a tiny cabin, perfect for two people. We enjoy visiting the coast during the off season. It’s so peaceful. I think we will stay there again sometime!

This rental was perfect for our small groups stay in Port A. With the fenced in backyard and additional screened in patio, it was easy to justify spending so much time on property. Definitely recommend this place to others.

Great location. Did have to wait for 4:00 for check-in but saw no one in cabin early that morning. Would have been nice to put some our food up earlier. No light outside while sitting out there. Light in kitchen blinked and the one over coffee table didn’t work.

The property was exactly as described, clean, cozy, and more than enough for a couple getting away for a week without the kids! :) The host was gracious, kind, and communicated wonderfully! Great location! Right in the middle of town with everything accessible and beach access super close and easy. The fenced in yard was perfect for my pup. The bonus was the amazing screened in porch. Loved it and would definitely be coming back.

Unfortunately, never again… Roaches (tree roaches, red roaches (in coffee pot) black roaches, and a weird beetle on the comforter) I have pics of all bugs and it was everyday. Called twice and their comment was…thanks for reminding us to go back out there to spray?!? Told them I was the only one and no pet, they did not remove pet fee. Maintenance men entered the back gate without announcing, my door was unlocked and I had just got out of shower. It’s a great property, but the lack of cleanliness due to roaches, etc., extremely poor costumer service, due to Sand Key Realty because of the indifference from the realty company due to items listed above.

Left after 1 day We checked in easily and settled in for our week long stay. Unfortunately we ended up leaving the next day. We realized it was a colder than usual for Port A but the cottage had no heat, no TV service and no hot water. We called the office in the morning and they brought 2 small space heaters but with no water etc we asked to be relocated to another rental unit with no issues. They were unable to accommodate us and agreed to refund our money. We have used this management company previously and will do so in the future. The owner agreed to also refund our money.
Excellent Little Cottage My husband and I booked this little cottage for our Thanksgiving vacation. It was exactly as described and more than I expected. The property was very clean and smelled great when we checked in. The yard, both front and back, were very well manicured. The additional cabana was amazing even though it was cold and rainy the whole week we were there. The entire backyard is fenced very well; it kept my dachshund in without fear of him being able to escape as many of the other fences in the same community aren't as secure for small dogs. The two TVs both had a Roku device where you can login to your streaming services. The TV in the living room/kitchen area has cable, as well. Wi-Fi was snappy so streaming on the Roku and browsing the web on our phones was easy peasy lemon squeezy. I drink tea every morning and was pleasantly surprised when I found a kettle in the cabinet. The coffee pot worked as expected so my husband could have his morning coffee. The location is excellent. Port Aransas isn't a very large area, but there are a ton of restaurants within walking distance. There's a ton of shopping nearby, too. Beach access is super easy to get to. Check-In and Check-Out were really easy - the property had a lockbox where we both retrieved and secured the key. The only negatives were that the shower was on the small side with a low-ish showerhead, and the bed was a bit soft for our taste. These two things didn't really affect our stay as we were still able to shower, it just took a bit getting used to. We still slept great as the bed is very comfy, just a bit soft for our taste. Overall: 10/10 would stay here again.
Unique cottage A great out of the ordinary place to stay and relax. Clean. Comfy mattress. Nice functional kitchen. Quiet complex, walking distance to restaurants, etc. The cabana is awesome! Will hopefully be back.
