I loved it great location very quiet and close to the beach and everything else I would definitely stay here again.

This place was great for our last minute trip. It’s close to the beach and stuff. Could definitely use some upkeep and tlc. The AC was great so that was a big plus.

This place was unbelievably dirty and the smell of mold/mildew was overwhelming!!

The property was very clean. However, the unit is extremely old and out of date.

It was our second time staying here. This is an amazing place. It offers everything needed for a simple beach stay. I have no gripes about this location. It has plenty of parking and the condo’s amenities all work and are in great condition. Great place, always recommended for an affordable stay.

The property was clean and suitable for our trip to Port A. Beds were ok comfort wise. Would stay again.

Overall, it was not worth the price in my opinion. We booked because we needed somewhere to stay. There were not many reviews, so we booked based on them being a super host alone. My overall review is that it needs TLC. It may not be the hosts fault, but a lot of things need to be taken care of. There are stains all over the side of the fridge and the attic. The attic also leaks. There is dirt build up by the tub and mold near the drain. The beds were hard. The hosts were very responsive, but overall, they need to probably invest in a better cleaning team.

Cute condo. Very clean. Management was prompt to reply when I tried to contact them about the AC leaking. Sent a repairman immediately. Will stay there again.

Check-in was easy, lock box on the door & it contained 2 keys. Place was clean upon 1st walk through, went to take a shower 1st night & found a short black hair on the shower wall. Then found to long black curly hairs on the floor next to the toilet bowl scrubber. There was a few larger coffee splashes on the kitchen wall to the left of the sink. Next, we had no hot water from Thursday, Aug. 7th through when we checked out on Sunday, August 10th. Reported it on Friday morning, never resolved. The I got a wild rash from the bedding (not bugs yall!!!) it was whatever brand of detergent is used, had to come home & immediately go to urgent care. My son also found a hair in the ice cube trays, ewww! I didn’t find out about that until this evening. The place is okay, it is very small, tvs are small, the floors for being a beach town were not gritty/sandy (yay!) my family & I have stayed at multiple places in Port A & unfortunately this was not a family favorite. Also, there are cleaning/host fees then they send you a link for an “incidental/damages waver that costs you more . With the fees you already pay, it’s just kinda icky-like if you clean the place & do not damage anything-give that money back. Just my thoughts. I’ve been in contact with the management company and nothing has been done, HELLO NO HOT WATER!!!!!

Wouldn’t recommend. No hot water in the shower when we stayed. Yes someone came to fix it but by the time they came we were at the beach enjoying our time and we were not there to let them in. Great communication but would not recommend to a friend or family member

Oh, what to say about this rental. First of all- we only stayed 2 nights and we couldn’t take a SHOWER after our beach days due to ZERO hot water in the shower. Two girls with long hair + sandy cheeks and heads and no shower do NOT mix. Once we realize there was no hot water. We reached out to the unit owners immediately. They did respond however did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation because we couldn’t shower. We ended up having to sleep in a sandy bed for the next two nights. This is absolutely unacceptable. I want refund they did offer one even after I asked. DO NOT STAY HERE. We even went as far to follow every single checkout instruction to the T and didn’t get so much as a thank you.

On the way to my unit, I got a call from Sand key stating that they would have to cancel my reservation due to the ac in the unit being out, not being able to repair and all other units being filled. I asked about a refund due to this issues and the woman told me 'yes full refund' I would just need to cancel through Ab&b. I did msg then before canceling because Ab&b'd policy was stating I would not receive a refund unless the jost cancels the reservationfor me. They (sandkey) reached out and informed me that they would cancel the reservation. It has been a week and some change and I have not seen my $600 refund I had been assured I'd receive.

The place is dated more than the photos show. The AC unit was leaking from the ceiling causing a pool of water. Maintenance wasn’t available so we used a trash can to collect the water. The next morning the bucket was about 1/4 full. Abigail, who was so attentive to begin with then turned ghost. Saying she had to go to team for our concerns and request for partial return on cleaning fee since we were the ones to deal with the inconvenience of water leaking and not wanting to have to pay extra for cleaning….crickets. She never got back to us. Very disappointing. Will not recommend this place.

Never again! Unable to check in on time due to air conditioning issues. After getting into condo, we left for dinner. Upon return, air conditioning was again no longer working and hallway was flooded with water, and water dripping from ceiling. Notified owner that night. Next day received email that they would look into it. No one ever came or contacted us again, and we did without air conditioning unit for rest of stay. No one wants to stay in Port Aransas in July without air. The only saving grace was a small unit in bedroom so we could sleep there at night. Will never stay here again.

Sand Key's place was the perfect escape for a beach getaway. They are a great host as I have stayed with them many times. The communication is prompt and accurate. This property had everything for a relaxing time. Clean, quite and comfortable with all amenities being located close by.

My reservations was noted that we had 3 guest occupying this rental. It had a pullout couch, but the pullout couch was not made with any linen. I contacted through the Airbnb app. They kept telling me that there was some linen in the closet or in the drawers, which there was none then I didn’t get a response until the next day so then we had to sleep on a dirty old mattress with no extra blankets or sheets

This property met all our needs and wants.. Great price and Excellent location.. I will save this property for future stays..

Clean and comfy ,but damage waiver after paying is unacceptable. Positive: Beds were comfortable. Easy access to key . Negative: Deceiving extra damage waiver charge after booking ,should be shown in invoice ,not emailed after paying . Laundry facilities were locked and inaccessible. Will not book there again .

Great location for what we needed. Real close to the beach. Easy to access.

The shower didn’t work while we stayed but maintenance claims they fixed it, still didn’t work. Also the air filter is completely black and that grossed us out. Wish we stayed somewhere else since we went days without showering, won’t be coming back.

Very clean and well put together. It had everything needed for a weekend at the beach.

The area was quiet during my stay which was nice, the beds were comfy, parking felt safe, the entire condo was clean, it was a great choice!

The staff was great! The communication was great. I like how they respond quick and were able to accomodate at the spare of the moment. Great place to stay.

Place is great for an inexpensive beach trip. Furnishing and decor is dated but beds we’re comfortable and clean! We would definitely rent it again.
