Positive: This place was in a perfect location with a beautiful oasis pool.The house was more than I expected and all the rooms came with a bathroom and even an extra half bathroom in the living room. The place was beautifully decorated and was next to the pool. You can even see the beach from the balcony. I have rented several locations at Port Aransas and this is absolutely the best place we have stayed at! Can wait to book it next time. Negative: Nothing.
Lovely unit on the end. Next to a really great pool. Super easy driving beach access. The beds were comfortable, the living space was plenty big for our large group and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and dishes.
Our day was wonderful. The place was very clean. We had a fantastic time. We had an issue with my verification, but that was on me, not them. They were very quick to respond! Amber, the local agent was amazing!

I had stayed here about 5 years ago. It was a little ragged for the wear. It was still a comfortable place. About a 10 minute walk to the beach.
Great location - only an 8 minute walk to the beach and most stores and food places were less than 5 minutes by car. Perfect pool for the kids - the entire thing was 4 ft deep and there was a waterfall and slide. Host was very reaponsive and helpful.

Great place to stay with a large family or a big group of friends! Very nicely decorated and comfortable furniture and beds! Loved the spaced out rooms, even with king beds. We really enjoyed the luxury resort style pool and the water slide! Easy access to all the local restaurants, bars and the beach was down the road! We felt right at home and safe!

We really enjoyed our stay at Piggy's Perch. The community pool was really great. The condo was very clean, it had a lot of amenities and was great for our 2 families staying together. We had plenty of space. A quick drive in your car or golf cart and you are at the beach. I would love to stay here again!
Overall, we had a good stay over Fourth of July weekend. The condo was clean, nicely decorated, and looked just like the listing photos. A couple of things are worth noting for future guests. We didn’t realize the condo was three stories, with the main living area on the second floor, so there were quite a few stairs. That wasn’t a problem for us, but it could be challenging for anyone with mobility concerns or small children. Also, while the listing says it sleeps 10, that’s only if people are comfortable sharing beds. There aren’t enough separate sleeping spaces for 10 people to sleep individually. The only issue we experienced was parking. Guest parking was very limited, and there weren’t any instructions about where additional parking could be found if needed. Fortunately, we didn’t run into any major problems during our stay, so we never had to contact the host. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the fact it was so close to the beach.

would definitely rent again comfy beds, plenty of pots/ pans/ kitchen items, condo is directly by the pool with is own pool access, easy to view pool area from condo, cold AC, pool and beach toys, close to beach bbq areas at the pool we had a wonderful time and loved how the condo was right at the pool. although pool area gets crowded and fun, noise flowing into the condo is no issue. short drive to anything. * bring extra of paper towels, dish washing liquid, clothes washer soap, beach and bath towels if having a full house. *only 2 parking spaces available, had 5 vehicles total, due to ppl coming after work, and having to drive separately. over the weekend, parking is crowded, but we were able to figure things out. only a few unassigned parking spaces available.
All went well. Had everything in the description. 10min walk to beach. Right next to pool, but did not hear the partying.

Beautiful home.
The home was great and accommodated our family well for the most part. It was disappointing that for most of the stay we did not have any wifi connections and had to use our spots when we were in the home. Also, we had a delay being able to have access to the home on the day of arrival and some water pressure issues in the downstairs bathrooms. There could be improvement to customer service as well.

Lovely, clean and comfortable townhome next to an excellent pool and close to the beach. As advertised: no actual beach view and occasionally noisy inside due to pool noise. But these did not bother us. Hosts were responsive but communication felt impersonal, as if responses were being mediated by AI.
The home was spacious, very well stocked. Loved that it had lots of bathrooms. Direct access to the pool from the back patio was awesome. My favorite thing of all was how comfortable the beds were. I would definitely stay there again. Also, it was very close to the beach and extremely convenient to all of the local restaurants and shops.

This property is next to the Pool and the neighborhood is very safe and liveliness. Lot of near by restaurants. Property itself kept really clean and gorgeous. Very comfortable to stay along with family. We loved the house and the ease of renting it! It was very reasonable for the room we had. Everyone in our group of six had her own bed and restrooms/bathrooms for all bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable and all rooms were well stocked—bathroom accessories, blankets and pillows, and kitchen accessories. We always bring extras when we travel but it was very unnecessary—we didn’t have to unpack any of our extras for our stay. The pool area was just outside our gate—so convenient! Thank you so much for sharing your home and for your hospitality! We can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful home very spacious!!! My family members had their privacy. Very close to the pool and close to restaurants. The beach was so close that you could see from our highest balcony. Truly a gem. The response from Airbnb was always very quick and very helpful!

Check in was easy and simple. House was clean and kitchen fully stocked. Having private access to the pool was nice. Middle of the day pool was busy but never overly crowded. Host was very responsive from as soon as I booked the condo to the moment we checked out.
The home was not bad … the cleaning crew they unfortunately used ruined our trip. We spent half a day washing the sheets, towels and bedding from the downstairs bedrooms as they were not cleaned from previous renters. 11 people in the house on our trip as well and only one towel per person was available. And the quality was thread bare … also only 4 washcloths. One per room was left on the beds. (This was for a 3 night stay)
The kitchen cabinets need a little fixing but other then that the house was perfect! My family and I really enjoyed staying here and the house having private access to the pool was a big plus! It was super clean and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our Easter/Sons birthday weekend. We come every year for Easter weekend and like my children said “ This is the best house we’ve ever gotten here!!” Thank you for everything and for taking the time to look for our lost wallet and being quick to respond when we communicated with you. Definitely will recommend staying here.
it was a pretty place, but they should definitely have a curfew at the pool, we have kids and there were grown adults going NAKED down the slides my kids were just on a few hours prior :( and trash left under the beds when we got there made us think they didn’t properly clean
Great home and neighborhood
The home was beautiful with plenty of room for all our guests to be comfortable. Loved how close it was to the beach and also liked the assigned parking spots!
So the reason I booked this is because it had great reviews and looked clean and has a great outdoor kid area but as soon as we walked in there was sand on the floors and then there was an inch of water under the sink, blood, pee and poop stains on all the downstairs bed protectors, it was disgusting knowing im sleeping in that ... if I get charged so much for cleaning it would be nice to come to a clean place.
Our time at Sand Key Vacation Rentals went really well! The place was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of amenities to make for an easy stay. When we weren’t at the beach we were able to enjoy the community pool with a fun water slide the kids enjoyed. They even personalized our stay with a photo album from our hometown! How cute! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home! The condo is right next to the pool with easy access into the pool area through a back gate. Every room was spacious and clean. Very well insulated walls kept the pool noise out. Every floor has it's own patio / balcony area. Will definitely return. Highly recommended!
First let me say, this is the very first Airbnb we have stayed in, normally we would have stayed in our rv, but there were just too many of us. I definitely would do it again! This house was so cute, and fun, the pool was nice, and the entrance from the house was perfect for the littles to run get other toys, ect. There was plenty of room for all of us. There were a few little things that we contacted them for and they were super responsive to any of our needs or questions. The dryer had a small problem while we were there and the maintenance guy was Johnny on the spot, he came and took away the old one and brought a new one the next morning. He was very nice and helpful. Overall, this was a great stay, the area, the room for all of us, and the pool was perfect. We would stay here again for sure.

The home is absolutely beautiful! the pool was a huge hit with the kids. The home is right next to the pool, there is a back gate that connects but we couldnt figure out how to open the gate lol It wasnt a big deal for us so we didnt bother the owner. Its a 7 min drive to the pier and 3 min drive to Dollar General which we loved. Will definately stay here again in the near future.
Layout was perfect for us with bedrooms and bathrooms on all 3 floors. Short walk to the beach.

Sand Key Vacation Rentals was so easy to work with! They resolved a scheduling error on my part and they proactively helped to book us another unit when there was a minor issue with the original condo we chose. They called me directly and offered us an upgrade prior to checkin. We’ve stayed at a lot of abnbs and this one was better than we expected. Location is so easy to walk to beach and quick 5-10 min drive to the other side of town so everything is close by. Love the Port A vibe. Rental was clean and well decorated. Pool was warm as described and was perfect even on a cool Feb day. I would definitely stay here again or book another property managed by Sand Key.

I am rating them higher then should solely because had the pool been up and working it could have been a wonderful stay. The management company knew the pool heat had been broken prior to us checking in and knew it wouldn't be fixed until after our checkout. (They initially LIED to us and said they didn't, however after speaking directly with the pool maintenance he had been called days prior because the heat wasn't working) They never made it right, and we only booked this place because of the pool. We would have stayed elsewhere had we known, we were only booked for 2 nights, only stayed 1. ( Promised our 3 kids a warm pool and slide, totally splurged and spent 615 dollars just to be dissatisfied and lied too. ) The rooms were great, lots of space, we didn't use half of them. And was not informed about the pool prior to check-in. Was credited back 75$. Thanks for stealing our money!
Excellent place to spend our vacation
Great location and the floor plan worked out perfectly for our multiple family stay. Pool is located right outside the condo , which we loved. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped.
This place was bigger than we thought. The pool was excellent, especially in Oct when the beach was too cold for us. Worth mentioning there's a gate directly to the pool from the downstairs bedrooms, could be awesome unless you plan to have kids down there alone in busier times (no notice from the pool that it's private). Deducted a star due to cleanliness. Between a hole punched in a door, a sticky stain right under the edge of the couch, dust bunnies galore on light fixtures and beds, and just generally not being very clean. Beds were all clean and seemed to have fresh linens, tho 2 of the beds only had sheets on them, not actually MADE beds. We were there for a short trip so wasn't enough to warrant requesting a cleaning crew. Hosts seemed very kind and responsive.
We really enjoyed our stay here. I was nervous because there are not very many reviews, but don’t let that scare you away! This place is right next to the community pool for the complex. It’s a big pool and was heated! The house is right next to a beach access road and takes less than 3 minutes to get to the beach on a golf cart. The house is three stories with the kitchen being on the second. The house was clean and I was very pleased with how much they provided. Plenty of towels and wash clothes, soap, plenty of trash bags, toilet paper and dishwashing tabs! I always am pleased when the hosts provides enough of these things for the stay! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for family getaways This place is perfect spot for family getaway in Port A. Kids had a blast at pool which is good sized and has a small toddler areas at start and slide in between for older kids. The place itself also had all facilities. Kitchen was nicely equipped and everything worked fine except the dryer. Will definitely recommend it and would like to visit it again.

Holidays at Port A Our entire group has such a great time over Christmas and New Years! The condo was amazing and the pool was warm, even during a cold front! We had enough room for our entire group, both for group time and alone time. It is a quick walk to the beach and has enough room to park a golf cart (if you rent one). The only draw back was the feral cats that “sang” outside our window a couple of nights. LOL!!! I would absolutely recommend Piggy’s Perch and look forward to come back!

Great stay in Port A We enjoyed our stay here! The location was about 2 blocks from the beach so it was an easy walk or drive. We loved that the unit was next door to the pool, so it made it easy to grab stuff inside while at the pool. The beds were comfortable and the number of bathrooms was excellent. There were a good amount of pots and pans for cooking, no blender, and just 10 sets of silverware. Bring your own spices and beach/pool towels as none were provided. Overall great stay!
Summer Vaca 2023 Locate great! Beautiful rental. Need a better cleaning service. Bedding covers looked dirty stained , dust on ceiling fans and floor boards. Some shutters are broken , locks on doors get stuck. Swimming pool awesome. But some renters let older children unattended and children were jumping off the rocks.
Misleading description We just stayed at this home for Memorial Day weekend. First off the home is part of a townhome complex and not a stand alone home which we did not know. It is close to the beach but not walking distance. The home is also right next to the pool. First off, we were not given any information on the place until 20 minutes prior to arrival. I had to message the host to get the address the day before because I did not know where to go. Upon arrival & the delayed email, we were informed that the bare minimum would be given to us for our stay and we would have to buy anything else we needed. They give you a very small and thin slab of soap (not in all bathrooms), one roll of toilet paper per toilet, and two trash bags. Other than that you need to buy everything else. They have coffee machines but no coffee provided. They did have utensils, cups, plates, and some cooking utensils. No salt and pepper, no oil or cooking spray provided. The A/c did not work the first day and was fixed later that night at 11:30 PM. Thermostat did not work so the place was freezing for the rest of the stay. Please note that this unit is right next to the pool. This is great for during the day but at night time it is a nightmare. I understand it was Memorial Day weekend so there were a lot of people. The parties would go until 2-3 AM. We called property management which didn’t do anything. Had to do multiple noise complaints with the cops and they would go out there but once they left the people would come back full force. Overall, we would not recommend or book this place again. We left miserable as our children could not sleep at night because of the noise and temperature.

Piggy’s Perch Perks Very nice house, tastefully decorated, nice bedding. Extra pillows. A full bathroom for each bedroom bonus perk! Plus half bath on main floor- check! Unit situated right next to pool- very convenient w private gate access from back door. You also get a 3rd parking spot- yahoo! Nice clean garage to store all beach stuff w water hose at front door for rinsing stuff off. The washing machine was out of order and we were not notified of that prior to arrival - not a deal breaker- I just would’ve brought more beach towels. Kitchen well stocked w dishes, utensils but you need to provide ALL condiments. I’m thinking because of COVID they are not providing hand soap in dispensers (if so empty dispensers should be removed?) so pack your own hand/body soap. We really enjoyed the house and everyone having their own personal space.
Long Weekend Getaway I will say the property itself was awesome! Very clean and the layout worked perfectly for us. Unit is right next to the pool! Make sure to bring condiments, coffee, etc....as there is nothing provided other than basic cooking utensils, plates, etc..... Down side was issues with people trying to park in our designated parking spaces and management was not available to address the issue; was later in eve. and office was closed. If you have 2 cars and go somewhere in one, park the second car sideways to occupy both spaces. .
Nice property, close to lots of good beaches Our extended family group enjoyed our stay at this property. Let me summarize the pros and cons: Pros: -- new property, nicely decorated, good space. -- the awesome pool is adjacent to this condo, so you can go there easily -- they have efficient noise-blocking windows on the pool side of the condo, so even though people were partying (with loud music) over there most of the time, we didn't hear it in the condo -- good proximity to several nice beaches (10-30 min drive) Cons: -- some of the basic things we have come to expect from VRBO properties were not there (maybe b/c it's new?). There was no salt/pepper. No shampoo/soap provided. Only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. -- check-in process was exasperating. We were driving to the real-estate office to pick up the key, per the instructions on their website. Then I got a call from a gal in the office, wanting me to provide my credit card number immediately (while I'm driving!). Pulled over, provided CC#, then was told "we're not allowing anyone in our office due to Covid; it's a keyless entry with a keypad." That's great (actually more convenient with multiple adults), BUT we drove an HOUR out of our way to go get this "key"!!! They need to update this info on their website (Covid has been doing on for 18 months now!) -- also, the gate code for the pool that was listed on the check-in instructions, was incorrect. We had to get the code from some other folks at the condos (half the people just left the gate ajar anyway, but that turned into a problem when my 2 yr old wandered out of the gate into the parking lot!) Overall, it's a good property, no major problems. Just some kinks to work out.
Great Unit Unit was very clean and spacious! There is three flights of stairs which was not a problem for us but could be for an older person. Love that our unit was right next to the pool(great pool) and even though the pool was next to our unit you could not hear any noise. The kitchen was well equipped. It was also nice to have a garage to put your sandy beach stuff instead of dragging it into the unit.
