The cottage was beautiful and spacious enough for our family to relax and enjoy the wonderful winter scenery all around us. We particularly loved the windowed view of the yard where we watched our children play in the snow as we sipped hot cocoa on the couches and listened to music. Very accessible to Phoenicia and the surrounding area. Enjoyed every minute of it!

We stayed over a holiday weekend heatwave and the pool was great! The house is lovely and has good air conditioning too. The location is very central and not far from Woodstock and Kingston too.
Our stay in Phoenicia was great! We were looking for a quiet, private retreat from the hustle & bustle of the city, and that is exactly what we got. The location of the house is perfect for a weekend escape — with so many amenities on the property, it is not necessary to leave unless you want to! We made good use of the grill, the heated pool, the trampoline (!!), the games & puzzles closet, and we were sad to leave when it was over. There were a few sitting areas with fire pits for outdoor hanging. The house was very spacious, secluded in nature and right across from the Esopus Creek and the Mount Tremper Trail is basically in your backyard. The town is a short drive (or walk even) and there’s also a farmstand with everything you need to prepare a meal less than 10 minutes away. Red Cottage were super communicative, friendly, and I would recommend this property to anyone looking for an escape into nature with all the amenities.
We had a magnificent stay! The kitchen layout was fantastic and made it easy for everyone to be together while meals were prepared. The living room was especially peaceful, with a stunning panoramic view that we never got tired of. There was beautiful art and lighting throughout the home that created a really calming atmosphere. Beds and bathrooms were very comfortable, and the dining room was a joy as well, with a fireplace that made it feel extra special. To top it all off the TV and audio setup was very high quality and thoughtfully designed. Likely my favorite Airbnb stay ever!
The house was wonderful \nClean , perfect, everything worked, warm, cozy, big tv, fast internet, beautiful surroundings, easy to get too.\nJust perfect.\nWe got almost 12 in of snow that night we arrived, shovels were in the boot room.\nThe next morning the private plows did their job.\nAll great , all good reviews \nThanks for sharing your home with us \nD
The place is terrific. Nicer than the description and photos. Everything worked. Dealing with house manual instructions was easy peasy. Pool is terrific and closer to the house we thought. We hope to be back ASAP.
The stay was amazing, from the place to the location, to the host !! Can’t wait to come back
