Nice family vacation Great location. We were able to see dolphins one morning while on the balcony. Room was nice and clean. Only reason for not 5 stars is the water pressure in the master bath, pressure was too low. The guest bath was just fine.

Great spot with issues My overall stay was great and the spot 405 was perfect. A lot of the time the elevator was packed so we could just take the stairs and that was so nice. The house was nice but definitely needed some updates that shouldn’t be looked over. The master bathroom toilet seat was cracked and it pinched you every time. The master bed was not leveled flat and very uncomfortable. The shower head and faucet were packed with mold. The kitchen stock was very minimum we made it work but it would have been nice to have some cups other then glass for the kids. I would stay there again but these things should be fixed.

Definitely Recommend The room offered everything we needed. The location is very close to the main elevators and laundry room. I was worried that only being on the 4th floor we would not have a good view of the beach but I was wrong. Overall, 10/10 for our family of 6. If there needs to be any improvement then it would be maybe a better sweep between guest, however you’re at the beach, there will be sand everywhere regardless.

Had a great time This is a nice property....can't beat the ocean view. The Pelican Beach resort is very family friendly but not too crazy or loud. They have rules and they enforce them, which we appreciated. The clear turquoise-blue ocean water, white sand beach, and beautiful pools on the property are unforgettable. Tiki bar and Cafe restaurant on property are also great.

Great location Really enjoyed our stay. The unit had more room then my wife and I needed. It was nice to have a kitchen to fix breakfast and have coffee on the balcony in the mornings. Clean and supplied well. My only complaint is the rules for the beach, the rented chairs and beach umbrellas take up the beachfront until 5pm, you are only allowed to set up your stuff behind them with no direct view of the beach and only one open pathway to the beach. There are private property signs on both sides of the Resort’s beach, which are removed at 5pm and then you can set up where you want. This would be the only reason we wouldn’t stay again.

Destin Property This was a perfect accommodation for two people. The view and beach access were superb. Balcony seating, which was important to me, was comfortable. The only downside to this property was a lack of in-condo laundry facilities.

Spring Break Stay First- the view here is unreal and makes it worth the price. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. The elevators are right around the corner and getting to the beach is so easy. We had a wonderful time. The unit could use some updates (worn condition). Would recommend at this price! We made great memories.

We had a wonderful experience with our stay! The host was very communicative and worked with us as our timing coincided with the hurricane that came through. It was just enough space for my husband and I to have a home base to stay and enjoy the beach! Beautiful view and in a phenomenal location! Very thankful and would stay again

Absolutely love the beachfront did not like I did not have anywhere to store my luggage or my husband didn't realize it was very narrow absolutely not spacious at all but besides that for one person it be good

Not as advertised!!!! We checked into our condo to enjoy our vacation and were completely shocked as soon as we walked in the door. The bathroom off the bedroom had black mold along the entire length of the bottom portion of the shower curtain and on the floor next to the tub. The closet door in the bedroom was completely busted so bad it was as useless and unusable. In the main bathroom the mirror was cracked, toilet paper roll broken and paint chipping from the ceiling in multiple places. Then the disgusting stains on the living room furniture were just about all we could handle. No response from the host who up to this point was very communicative. We checked out immediately! Only good news was that the condo management immediately responded with a full refund. Everything was videotaped and documented. I am a huge fan of VRBO but this was a HUGE disappointment. In the end we had a fantastic vacation!!!

Overall, the property was nice. However, there were some issues we ran into. The shower in the bedroom bathroom had no shower liner, so the floor in the bathroom was constantly wet. The water in the tub also took well over 10 minutes to drain and the bathroom was not as clean as it could be. In the secondary bathroom, the dresser drawers were visibly broken and could not be opened fully. The property was not as clean as it could have been, but the overall experience for us was good. The amenities and the view from the balcony were great. Host was very communicative and replied quickly with any questions or concerns we had.

My family and I had a wonderful time and the kid pool was perfect for toddlers. Positive: Location was perfect. Negative: Were some plumbing issues. Master bath tub wouldn’t drain.

Negative: The shower curtain in the bathroom in the bedroom was molding

We enjoyed our condo. It had a beautiful view!

Advertised with washer/dryer as an included amenity. Upon arrival, we quickly realized there was no washer and dryer in the unit. I called the helpdesk who told me the advertisement was for a shared washer and dryer that was only on certain floors. With a family of six including a baby I told him that was unacceptable. I would not have booked the unit having known there was no washer and dryer inside the unit. They failed to do anything about it even after we told him that we tried the shared washer and dryers down on a different floor. We quickly realize that the shared washer and dryers did not work. Each time that you put anything in them, you have to pay two dollars. We had to pay multiple times to get one load of clothes dried because the washer would not spin the clothes properly. The bathroom vanity was falling to pieces you could not open and close the drawers. The baseboards all throughout the condo were obviously water damaged and painted over. The pool area was largely overcrowded and under managed. Lots of cursing and yelling. We actually watched one individual get taken out by the security guard after several inappropriate evenings from the same individual regardless of young families being around. The only positives I have to offer is location and the beach was beautiful. I would never stay here again.

This condo was perfect, the view was just amazing! Being able to wake up and walk right out to the balcony to hear and see the beach was just amazing! Close to everything, right in the middle of all the action ! We would definitely stay here again !

We really enjoyed the beach and the chair/umbrella service (very responsive to our special needs).The condo was in very good shape. We also enjoyed the balcony. Would like to visit again.

Host was amazing from the beginning. We didn’t have any issues with checking in/out. Only thing that needs to get addressed is the cleanliness of floors, couch and shower head. Tile grout is black and you can see next to trim it is light grey. The couch had large stains on the back cushions and I didn’t even want to sit on them. Master bath shower head was completely covered in mildew. The cost of cleaning service fee is ridiculous with the conditions we experienced walking in. We basically left it as clean as it was with exceptions of dirty towels and linens for one bed. The others were not used.

Clean, convienent to everything , beach was amazing! Suggest booking rental of chairs and umbrella at time of booking. They fill up fast. You also can’t use personal chairs/tents except behind the rentals

Great location The condo location is great. It is close to restaurants and plenty of things to do. The view on the gulf side is amazing! Everything you need is there for you. Would stay again.

Peace of heaven but needs updating Great location with beautiful view of the sea. Everything is close. Definitely needs updating. Older TV and bad reception. The sinks are short and makes it hard to brush your teeth and wash your. Main bed mattress is good but frame is coming apart. Would definitely go back specially if if it gets the upgrades.

Great getaway We enjoyed our time in Destin, specifically the Pelican Beach Resort. The swimming pools were fun and the beach was a short walk.

Beautiful view I recommend the place. It's a beautiful view the pool and hot tub is a very nice feature and walk straight to the beach. There's not much more one would want.

Could’ve been better I developed a rash from a seriously overused hot tub. The bracelets and security on site were a little over the top and my mom wanted to come visit for an hour and the front desk gave me absolute hell about it even though they told me it would be fine before I checked in. One elevator was out of order the whole time which meant we could never get an elevator down to the beach and had to carry all our beach stuff down the stairs. Little small inconveniences that started to add up over time that makes me think I’ll look elsewhere next Springbreak.

View was beautiful, but don't expect to get a good nights sleep. With the master bedroom located at the front of the condo it is very loud and annoying listening to everyone coming and going in the hallway, doors slamming, talking very loud and stomping around. You can hear kids screaming in other rooms. Makes for an un-relaxing vacay when you're sleep deprived.

Great views with lots of property amenities Overall we really enjoyed out stay. Below are pros/cons; PROS: Condo is a great space with amazing views. Good sized kitchen and to good sized bathrooms. Pelican Beach resort has tons of amenities to include 3 pools, private beach, tiki bar, and a gym. CONS: We had to buy things like salt, pepper, cooking spray, and coffee filters. I think these should be considered as something you supply those renting the property. Overall would definitely stay here again, but we would know that we need to buy a few more things than expected typically with a VRBO.

Overall we had a great stay. The room itself could have been better. We had to go buy wash clothes because we were only given 1. There were multiple dirty dishes in the cabinets that we had to wash before we could use them.

Great Condo! Great Location. On the beach, 2 pools, and lots of cool waves. Go for a night beach walk!

Perfect Spot Great very clean place in the heart of everything!

Middle of the road The condo needs updated. Master bath def needs renovated. Hooks throughout the condo would be helpful especially in masterbath. The bathroom liner/curtain needs replaced black mold. The location is great, view is great. They need to spruce it up for the price they are charging.

Review Everything was good except the couch was dirty and stained badly. With just our stay alone, I believe you all can afford 2 new couches. We covered them both with sheets in order to feel comfortable to sit on them. Also, the bottom of the shower curtain was dirty and should be changed.

2nd stay This was our 2nd time staying at this resort and we love it. The room itself is great, clean and had everything we needed. Not a fan of how over crowded the resort seems, pools are always super packed.

Our stay First off, we loved the fact that we got an early text for check-in! Our plane arrived at 7:30a and we killed time before hitting the pool/beach at the resort. The weather was not great and we had to relocate to other things while waiting to check in. The text we received that allowed us to get in early was amazing and perfect timing as we were all very tired and trying to push through. We were missing a few items that stated that would be there when we arrived. Neither bathrooms had toilet paper and one of the bathrooms was missing hand soap. Other than that it was great.

Wonderful Vacation The condo was clean, and very spacious. The master bed was SO SO comfy! Perfect view of the ocean! The owners were quick to respond to our message and checked it to make sure all was well!! 2 pools and 2 hot tubs. The pools seem super kid friendly. The weight room and gaming room was a little confusing to find at first, but smooth sailing afterwords. The tiki bar was so cool and had delicious drinks! You get an arm band to have access to the pools and private beach! We loved everything about the pelican beach, and room 405!! Our only complaint was not in regard to room 405, but the laundry room. ( Well almost everything... The washer on the 4th floor was out and had a terrible smelling odor, we were asked to just use the 3rd floor laundry)

Extremely satisfied I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect View The view was perfect! Everything matched the pictures. Condo was in great shape and clean.

Nice stay We had a great stay at pelican resort

No TV Even while we’re at the beach we like to watch TV in the evenings. We were unable to do so bc the cable wasn’t working. We tried for two days to reach someone. Once we did, the following day someone visited to tell us he couldn’t fix it. So no TV, and the overhead fan in the master would smoke if you turned it on.

Very clean and great view! Our condo was very clean and nice. The view from the balcony was breath taking, and the beach access was very nice. The pools were heated so it made our April trip very enjoyable.

Beach access I was really disappointed in the beach access situation. The only place you were allowed to set up a chair was behind all of the rows of rental chairs that were already rented but mostly empty most of the day and adjacent area was considered trespassing per sign but also empty area. The company outside this condo complex has a monopoly on the sand. Sad that we paid as much to stay as we did and was unable to sit in a chair on the sand and see the ocean. Also comments on the listing stated no larger than 10x10 tent was allowed but no Tents at all were allowed.

Fantastic stay! The unit was clean and exactly as described. Information before the trip was helpful and comprehensive. We would stay again!

Clean, Great Location Unit was clean and in a great location. Enjoyed the surrounding attractions. Nothing was out of the way. Easy check in/out. Decorated very nice and modern. Only complaint was the ice maker wouldn’t work, but great stay otherwise!

Great area! Beautiful view Can’t beat the views. Some updates could be done. But overall in good condition.

Unknown construction Nice unit close to elevator. Exterior construction wasn't known ahead of check-in date. Noisey during daytime. Unit needs cool weather bedding available but fortunately we brought our own and didnt need to ask. Somewhat dated but overall clean and met our needs.

Cleaning The room was great. Could use a deep clean and the appliances need updating. Oven barely worked and coffee pot did not.

not great ! Bedroom needs new mattress. Ice maker did not work. Had to go buy ice for drinks. Surprise this unit did not have a washer or dryer. I wil not reserve this unit again. Pools were great and very enjoyable.

Beach Trip Great condo. We had a great week. Best view on the beach.

Great Place to Stay Loved the location and view. It was on the 4th floor over the pool overlooking the beach/ocean. Perfect view. The only downfall to this condo is there is no washer or dryer in the unit. Luckily, there is a community washer and dryer across the hall from it. So, you don't have to go far. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

The air was broken reported it 3 times never anything the beds were terrible .Only gave 2 garbage Was beautiful location .Needs a lot of work very dated beds were not good but beautiful view

Needs an upgrade We loved the location and overall feel of the building, but our room needed some pretty big updates. The shower in the master room had terrible water pressure, while the main shower had an excessive amount of pressure and would soak you when trying to turn on. However, the main shower head was disgusting with gunk. All of the beds need better mattresses. I’m not hard to please. Good location to food and a great bed. All I got was a good location to food. The building and staff were very nice. We will definitely book in the same location, only in a different room next time, unless this one gets an update soon.

PICTURE PERFECT views The views and location of this condo were perfect! We enjoyed our stay, our unit was quiet and met all the basic needs. Our only issues were small, but the mattress in the master bedroom was not very comfortable. We also would have liked to have an option for a thinner blanket has the comforter on the bed was VERY heavy, especially in 90 degree weather! The decor in the condo was a little outdated and some things were starting to show wear (faucet in the kitchen sink was very unsteady, for example). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay-the beach bar and quick walk to the ocean were amazing! We, also, enjoyed the pools, which were very nice and had plenty of chairs and space. We would stay in this condo location again!

Relaxing vacation The property is older and the condo wasn’t super updated, but the location and proximity to the beach can’t be beat. Conveniently located near grocery stores and top rated restaurants. Overall a very good vacation. Biggest con was having to rent beach chairs every day which were expensive. It’s sectioned off so you can’t set up your own stuff anywhere near the beach and condo.

A Bed had sand in it. Sand all over the floors when we first checked in.

Perfect Stay Check in was easy even though it was a 4 o’clock check-in we were allowed to check in with an email sent to us at 2 o’clock when the room is ready. Which was awesome!

Convenient Location Property is close to groceries, off site gym, food, and entertainment. Comfortable and clean room with an excellent balcony view.

Very nice It was very nice the pools were clean nice tiki bar w/ exceptional drinks priced rt as well $10 12 oz cup. Made fresh and of course the beach was great

Spectacular ocean view Room 405 has an spectacular ocean view, and the room was very spacious roomy with updated appliances, and state of the art. The overall stay was a bit on the high priced. 9.5 overall stay!
