A frame experience in lovely setting. Positive: Had everything we needed. Nice deck, back porch with swing, pet friendly. Comfortable beds, great kitchen/dining area. Very homey. Great experience! Negative: Nothing!

Great location in neighborhood close to golf course, tennis, pickleball, and hiking trails. Also home is roomy, very pet friendly, and comfortable with nice decks to take in views and watch wildlife.

Our family absolutely loved this place!!!! The only thing was we will have bruised legs from running into glass coffee table multiple times HAHAHA! We played Clue and other family games with our kids! They had deer walk up super close to them outside! It was a beautiful place and we would love to come back! We loved that the check out list was not extreme! We have been to places that we had to fully clean all the things!!! The No AC was fine! We just opened the windows and had the nice mountain air blow in!

Great stay

Great location and overall liked the place and a good home base for the ski trip. Nearby playground for the kids was a hit and you can see it ad a highlight for locals too. Very walkable neighborhood with deer walking around and hiking trails nearby. Angel Fire resort a mile or two away along with all the shops, restaurants, grocery, and anything else you might need close by. Nearby side trips to Taos and Red River were easy and fun to do making the trip even better. Now the nit picky things to mention….Door unlock instructions were not clear, need to add the # to the door code and when asked, never got a clear answer and figured it out ourselves. Never figured out how to lock the front door when leaving. Fireplace didn’t work and some of the small details need updating like pull chains missing on fans and some of the doors need adjusting. No outside trash cans so trash piled up in the open next to the house. Great place, just needs updating for the price paid.

My family and I had a wonderful week at Kelly’s place! The location is ideal, close to everything near by (only a 6 minute drive to Angel Fire resort). Neighbors were also kind enough to give us advice on driving, as they saw us struggle up the hill where you get to the house. The home itself was so cozy, everything we needed and then some! 10/10, would book again. And thank you Kelly for being flexible with us when we couldn’t get out due to snow!

Great stay in good location!

Kelly was extremely communicative and helpful with any minor issues we encountered. I would stay at any of Kelly’s hosted homes ANYTIME. This specific A Frame was everything we expected. Anything that was out of order like the fireplace was communicated to us when we received our check in instructions, so we were aware and prepared! Can’t say enough about the host and making sure we had a 5-Star experience.

Kelly was a wonderful host. Communication was great and we did not have any issues. The property was as advertised. Views from the front and back decks were amazing. We like to cook our own meals and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. While the property is up on the hill, it is still very close to everything in and around Angel Fire. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property. Thanks Kelly!

This lodge was absolutely beautiful and a restful place to escape the heat from Texas. I highly recommend this home for all, and I look forward to visiting in the future with my family.

Our lodgings were comfortable, spacious, well maintained and located in a beautiful setting. It’s important to note however that the A frame structure of this home offers two bedrooms on the first floor and one upper loft floor with several beds. Being on the upper level required ascending and descending a steep, though carpeted set of stairs. The two bathrooms were located on the first floor only. As our group of mostly senior travelers had various physical issues, the stairs presented challenges for those staying in the loft beds. This lodging is especially well suited for a group with some few younger and active members who can easily manage those stairs.

The extra paperwork and deposit with the extra level getting my CC info was very concerning. I booked this last minute but never have had to do this. I was nearly there when I saw the emails asking me to do it and with the family in tow i had little choice. The concern grew when i saw the amount of damage to the property. scratched floors, dented appliances, broken doors, broken window, damaged decorations, damaged paint etc. now i worry I'm gonna have them come after me to fix their place. I cant recommend staying here. I had to go around and take pictures of it all to protect myself.

This was such a wonderful place to stay. Quiet. Clean. Spacious. Easy parking in front of house right by front door. Beautiful scenery. Close to everything in the Enchanted Circle. Don’t have one complaint. It was just simply perfect!

Lovely place!

Angel Fire is a beautiful area. The property is located in a rural community / country club area which is nice. The cabin was perfect, with all the amenities. Quiet area with just enough resources (restaurants, grocery stores etc...), but not too busy. I would definitely go back.

Beautiful location, porches in front and back remain outside while being shaded from the sun when it's beaming. kitchen had everything we needed for prep. beds slept great. all windows functioned (opened with screens and locked back). trials to walk and playground for kids.

The home was great. This was our first visit to Angel Fire and we will be making this trip an annual tradition. The home was cozy and very close to the mountain. They had plenty of pillows to choose from, so finding the right size and feel for your needs was easy. We literally hand fed deer from the porch and were also greeted by a flock of 22 turkeys. I’m not joking. The wildlife around the house was so neat and our little girl LOVED it. This home was priced better than the surrounding homes, and we will definitely be booking again. Thank you Kelly for being so accommodating and responsive.

Angel Fire Property! Things They Don’t Tell About: Be prepared for an additional $50 non-refundable payment after all other fees. The host is quick to charge for anything that goes wrong, leading to zero peace of mind. You’re required to do your own dishes and take out the trash, which involves driving to the dumpster off property. Only **one towel** is provided per guest—just one! The heater takes ages to warm up, and the dryer doesn’t dry clothes properly. With a $250 cleaning fee, I expected better standards; we found hair in the shower and soap scum upon arrival. The instructions state to “leave all bedding on beds,” raising doubts about the cleanliness of the sheets. (what is the cleaning crew even doing) Overall, we felt uneasy, constantly worrying about what extra charges would be added to our card on file. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

La cabaña está muy cómoda, tal cual viene en las fotos y muy acogedora. Sólo la cama de uno de los cuartos tenía quebrada la base, pero la corregimos manualmente. Hermoso lugar y muy tranquilo.

Just as described. Easy to find and perfect for our ski trip to angel fire. Cute and comfy. Would stay again.

Excelente alojamiento, mucho mejor que en las fotos, hermosas vistas y con fácil Acceso, muy cerca de la montaña a solo 5 minutos en auto. Kelly muy atenta y amable desde antes de nuestra llegada, casa totalmente equipada y hermosa, sin duda la recomiendo.

We had a great time! Haus was just like it said in advertising. 5 minutes to golf course, 5 minutes to ski lift,& the people that live next door or neighborhood were super friendly! Lots of deer right in back yard.

Rustic Cabin Everything was nice. Great location for the activities we were interested in. It is definitely a rustic cabin experience. Loved the 2 separate porches. 1 facing west for morning coffee & 1 facing east for evening cocktails. I truly appreciated the ‘pet friendly’ option.

Good place for family and pets Property as listed, excellent location, convenient check-in/check-out, good value. Two bedrooms downstairs as well as two baths, great loft area that sleeps 3 if needed, excellent laundry room, patio, easy parking. Very good value for what we needed, which included two mature dogs. Deer walk up outside, chipmunks play in the patio rocks, close walk to country club parks/tennis courts. Recommend and we will plan on staying again next time.

Very complicated no one to communicate with when needed questions asked. Just by email. Very hot and uncomfortable in house due to no air conditioning. Bathroom door was broken had no privacy for Bathroom using. Very disappointed. Left early from trip because of these situations. For the price you pay these situations should be working properly. Also felt like your every move was being watched in side the house. Also fan in Bathroom didn't work. No satellite TV. Just plan out dissatisfied and disappointed.

For the price I don’t know that we could have found a better place to stay in Angel Fire. Great location, quiet peaceful neighborhood on the golf course and only a few minutes from town. Easy in and out and our host Kelly was great to work with. We were traveling with our elderly parents and access was for them was very easy. Thanks Donnie (Teague, TX)

Air balloon fiesta!! This place was so cozy, enough room for our guest and close to town were all the activities are. Very clean and great communication with the host. I would defiantly stay there again :)

Great house and amazing views

Perfect spot! Brought the family for our first ski trip with the kids. We pleasantly surprised with this place. I knew it had good reviews and looked nice online but I’ve been disappointed in the past. This place surpassed our expectations and was everything we needed plus some. Very clean. Had everything in kitchen to make meals as we like to stay in and cook. Very comfortable for watching movies after a full day of skiing. The kids loved the upstairs loft as it was sorta of like their own little retreat. Host was very informative and answered questions quickly. Will definitely be back!!

Great cabin for a group of friends or family. Located near the slopes and local grocery store which was very convenient. The cabin was clean and well supplied. Overall a great place is stay in Angel fire!

Enjoyable booking. Instructions were clear and helpful. House is accurately represented by provided photos. Host communicated well prior to our trip. We did not have any issues requiring communication during our stay. The location in the country club is convenient to town and the resort. It is a quick few minutes to the mountain and the grocery store. Great for the price point.

We loved our stay! Short drive to the slopes and activities. Perfect lay out for our family. Definitely glad we brought our 4x4 vehicle!

Loved this space! The kids had thier beds and a TV in the loft, we had our space downstairs. Kitchen had all the small appliances I needed (I didnt have to being a crock pot, which was nice) Home stayed nice and warm despite the super snowy days. Short drive to the mountain for skiing. My family skis, I dont. So it was really nice to have a relaxing space to nap, watch TV and watch the snow! Would absolutely recommend for families! We had 2 mule deer does, a baby and a buck come up on the deck! It was a great time!

I have never left a less than 5 star review, but manager has not responded to my message so I feel I need to warn other people. Management communication was not good. There were 2 thermostats (1 in living, 1 in Primary bed) that did not control house temperature AT ALL. House directions/manual did not mention a master thermostat hidden in the laundry room and as a result, our first night did not have heat and we awoke to negative temps outside and a VERY long cold night. Furnace stopped working on night 3. We notified management first thing in the morning, then followed up at the end of the day since there wasn’t a response. She asked if the thermostat was on and what brand, but did nothing to actually fix the problem so our 4th night was also without heat. Miserable. I requested a partial reimbursement due to 3/4 nights without heat in negative temperatures, mgmt never responded. Broken blinds on all 4living room windows, Kitchen drawer broken, upstairs bed broken

Very nice place to stay at. It was very hard to shop around the area tho and most restaurants were closed so we had to make a drive for food

Wonderful Home for Weekend Getaway We absolutely loved staying in AngelHaus. The location of the home was perfect for us since it is near several trailheads where we hiked. The house was so comfortable and has every amenity we could imagine. We even brought our own meal kit from home and cooked in the well-stocked kitchen. (Bring your own salt & pepper.) The porches are perfect for drinking coffee or a cocktail while enjoining the beauty of nature. Having two bathrooms was perfect for me and hubby so we could spread out our toiletries and get ready at the same time. We would stay here again and again!

This AirBnB was just perfect for my family of four and the family we traveled with. Both families have two kids between the ages of 6 and 10 and the loft worked out fantastically (Adults downstairs, all kids upstairs 😁)! The kids even had their own T.V. upstairs, which was nice after they played all day outside. The host is very thoughtful, we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host provided us with a QR code that linked us to all the information we needed about the house and the area (restaurants, things to do, ect.) Kitchen is clean & contains everything one needs. I even had everything I needed to make cupcakes for my son's birthday. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean and stocked. Great water pressure (always a plus). Location is incredible, beautiful views and lots to do. We spent every evening watching the sunset from the back porch/balcony as the kids played in the yard & tried to feed the deer. Thanks for a wonderful week! We will be back. ❤️
